It doesn't feel very special when the same products are in the Christmas calendar.

I also understand the purpose that the calendar can be used and not just thrown away. Great idea! The pouches are also neat. The whole package feels heavy and high-quality. Nice calendar with products I actually would have bought separately if I could afford it.Bought this calendar this year and have been very satisfied! Will post an unboxing video with swatches later, in case it might be interesting for someone. The calendar contained good products that I definitely wanted and would have bought myself even if they weren’t in the calendar. Sometimes calendars can contain a lot of small stuff and things you might not have bought. I didn’t think that was the case at all with this calendar. Most were full size and of high value. In addition, these are well-known brands with a good reputation, both recommended by experts and liked by many private individuals/regular people. You save a lot of money here, so it’s definitely a very good purchase, especially if you want to try new things or want a small base of good products. The variety is very good, both in brands and types of products: skincare, haircare, makeup, and perfume. Many of them are, as mentioned, products that are talked about a lot and that I would gladly have bought myself. These are things I will definitely use. My favorite was K Ceutic from Dermaceutic and blush from NARS. I was personally very pleased with the bag the calendar came in. I thought it was practical, beautiful, and elegant, as well as neutral enough to fit most occasions and outfits. The Lyko logo is also barely visible. Personally, I would also have liked a colorful and more exciting bag, but I think it’s nice to have something more neutral as well. I will definitely use it. Of the three calendars I bought from Lyko, this one and the K-calendar were my favorites. I think this calendar has a bit more variety in types of products and brands, but the K-calendar also had a lot of nice things, especially skincare. If I had to say something negative, it might just be that I don’t use much nail polish right now (though it will make a very nice gift for someone!) and that I would have liked a bit more makeup, but those are minor things. I’m still very happy with all the products I got. All in all: I have been very satisfied with this calendar! #konkurranseinflutester931 views

The post was made 2 weeksRating: 4 out of 5The calendar I almost boughtI see that By LYKO's 24K is not sold out yet, which I expected it to be. 🥰 There are many great products here – despite quite a few samples. Mini sizes are often good if you buy to test something new. I also think there is a good and exciting variety in the contents. 🥰 Here you can find Paula's Choice, NARS, Olaplex, Sebastian, Face Formula, and many other quality brands. But I chose By Lyko's K-beauty, not this one. And there were several reasons for that, for me: 🥺 The bag! I don't think it's nice, and when it's not nice, it really drags down the overall impression. The calendar doesn't evoke associations with either Christmas or 24K (luxury). And I don't trust that the quality is good enough for me to actually use it as a bag. All in all, the K-beauty was absolutely lovely and very Christmassy. 🛍️ I've tested quite a few of the brands before – I've bought a bit too many By Lyko Lovables. But it also contained some items I don't think quite fit, like scent sticks and a cryo ball. I perceive that as filler. 🏆 But it's by no means a bad calendar, just in my opinion poorly presented. 🌟 If you think the bag is nice (or can tolerate it), I recommend going for this one. But I don't find this one very appealing. The bag the products come in looks quite cheap. It also feels a bit strange to have it in a large handbag. It would have felt more luxurious if it came in a large toiletry bag. The products are not cruelty-free. I think there are much better advent calendars for that amount. Compensation from Lyko! 🚨 Referring to my review below – the Polish customer service office responded quickly and rose to the occasion! Logistical errors were fully corrected: 1️⃣ The missing bag no. 7 was sent to me 😊 Inside I found the promised, iconic mini NARS blush and a sample of L’Occitane oil (I’m adding a photo to the gallery!). 😍 2️⃣ For the torn seam of the collective bag, I received a 75 PLN voucher for my next purchase from the store! 💸 Huge plus to Lyko for a professional approach to premium customers and quick problem resolution. The cosmetic content still deserves a strong 4/5, and now the bad taste from logistics has been completely erased! 💜✨ ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Regarding the cosmetic content itself, there are good premium brands like Natasha Denona, Oribe, Dr Dennis Gross, Paula’s Choice, and Elixir Cosmeceuticals, which suit my mature and dry skin and demanding curls well. All the cosmetics I found inside have perfect, long expiration dates. Unfortunately, the joy of unboxing was completely spoiled by the terrible packaging quality and quality control in the warehouse. The luxurious, plum-colored collective bag was forcibly and thoughtlessly squeezed into a too-small box. Under the enormous pressure during transport, the side seam of the bag simply tore, leaving a large, unsightly hole 🥹 Worse, in my copy, the entire bag with number 7 was missing, in which the iconic NARS blush should have been (instead of 28 planned products, I have 27) 💔 Because of this, the whole thing looks like a reject from sorting, not a premium product for so much money, because I think this set is not worth that much. Additionally, I think that with such a high calendar price, the manufacturer unnecessarily included a plastic massaging gadget inside. Such devices are, for me, just fillers – not everyone will use it, and the quality of workmanship is far below the rest. In my opinion, a more useful cosmetic like a luxury serum should have been included 🤩 Of course, the issue with the missing cosmetic and the holey bag has been reported to the Polish customer service office, and I am waiting for their response. Logistics and customer treatment are a big minus, which reduces the value of the whole set.
