    I recommend

    Very compact size and easy to use. Heats up quickly too. Only minus is that the handle itself can get pretty hot after a while of using so be careful with your hands!

This is in essence a mini flat iron but with different plates. The usage however is completely different. Instead of straightening or curling this tool is used to create wavy effects and first and foremost volume. Simply just clamp a lock of hair as close to the roots as possible and then brush through the hair. The result will speak for itself.
