Strong perfumed scent!
I like this primer despite the strong perfumed scent. I wish it had a more pleasant and milder scent. Then it would have been a home run. I like the simple packaging it comes in. The primer is creamy and comes out easily. I use it over my face creams and prefer to use it mainly under makeup all over my face. I think it gives a nice glow. The primer lasts a long time and is affordable since I've been using it daily for a few weeks now and it's still not finished. A little goes a long way. Easy to use!
A gel-like cream that is a bit more on the watery side. It comes in a jar that is easy to open, and it's easy to use the product that is in it. I can't really remember if the cream had any scent, but if it did have a scent, it's probably nothing that is disturbing since I can barely recall if it smelled or not 😅 I don't have many dark spots on my face, so I can't comment on whether it counteracts dark spots or not. What I liked about the cream is that it gave a nice glow to the face and that you felt hydrated, but only in conjunction with other creams. I used the cream without having other products over it and became immediately dry after a few days. This was best used as a complement along with my other creams. Not very impressed unfortunately!
Nja, not so impressed with the product. I don't feel that it gives the desired effect that I would have liked when I have let my hair down as I primarily want to tame the small baby hairs. Often the product keeps the hair in place for a moment, but otherwise I have to reapply it often. It works better for me when my hair is up. The scent of the product is quite okay, I think it smells a bit like alcogel. The packaging that the product comes in is handy and easy to use. I don't think there will be more purchases of this hair tamer for me, now I have at least tested it and I wasn't impressed. Not really something for me!
Like the other products from the same flower meadow series, this plastic pump bottle also has a sleek design and is easy to use. This hand and body cream is of a decent thickness in consistency and absorbs fairly quickly into the skin. I don't feel that it leaves a sticky feeling behind. The skin feels smooth after use, but I think that smooth feeling disappears quickly 😅 For some reason, I find the scent of the cream a bit more pleasant than that of the hand soap and shower gel. It doesn't feel as strong in scent. The cream is reasonably priced, and you get a lot of product for the price. Practical bottle!
Just like with the shower gel, the bottle has a sleek design and comes in a pump bottle that is made of plastic and very practical to use in the bathroom. The consistency is just right, not too thick or too runny, and it lathers nicely in contact with water. What I find difficult is the floral scent that is strong at first but fades very quickly. The hand soap lasts a long time and is affordable. Scent of flower meadow!
Simple and sleek design on the bottle. It is made of plastic, so perfect for the shower. I love pump bottles, always easier to get the product out, I think. The consistency of the shower gel is just right, not too thick but not too runny either. It lathers just right in contact with water and leaves the skin moisturized. I don't feel like my skin gets dried out after use. Unfortunately, I had a bit of trouble with the scent as the shower gel smells like a flower meadow. The scent is pleasant, but if you're sensitive like I am sometimes, it can be a bit much. My hair journey!
I don't really know where to start. It feels like a long post is coming. I can start by saying that I have completely switched my hair products to J Beverly Hills after testing them for several months. Now I can finally write a review, and after a little less private presentation at my current hairdresser, my current hair routine has changed. Everything from how I wash my hair to how I dry it. I don't know if everyone knows this, but I learned that it makes a very big difference when you choose to dye your hair, so seasons matter due to the humidity in the air. The same goes when you want to try new products. The recommendation I got is to preferably test new products and dye your hair when it’s warmer outside, but as you all know, we love to test new products here at Lyko regardless of the seasons, even when it comes to coloring. However, I personally feel that I can't follow the advice I got from the hairdressers since you always want to freshen up your hair but also try new products 😅 I also learned that all products that are from 0.3 percent and below are classified as sulfate-free and paraben-free. The formula will change for most products in the near future due to the strict EU regulations that are coming, and then no one knows how the new products will be and if they will fit because some ingredients will be removed. Right now, their products are made by very few chemists, and therefore the products are not sold to larger chains. I buy my products at Kicks or through their website. In the beginning, when I tested their products, I got more dandruff than usual, and the reason is that their products clean the scalp from the ground up since their products contain herbs, as I was explained. I always insist a little extra in the shower to really let the products work, but also when I rinse my hair, and nowadays I have no problems at all with my scalp except when I’m careless. I sweat a lot on my scalp, especially when I sleep since I get warm, therefore I always have to give my hair a little extra love and try to keep it cool in the room preferably. I also learned that you should be generous when applying conditioner to your hair and that you should never skimp on the conditioner, it should always run out first. Just because the hair can feel a little rough after shampooing, therefore you should use a lot of conditioner in your hair. The hair now has a nice structure, it feels stronger and shinier. When I wash my hair, I always finish the wash with cold water because it apparently closes the hair strand in the same way that the conditioner does, and when I dry my hair, I finish the drying with cold air so that the hair doesn’t get so frizzy. If you haven't tried this, you can try on one side first to dry the hair with cold air to then compare with the other side. Here are some of the products that I have already tested, but I have more at home that I just love. There is a product for every hair type, and the scents of some of the products are simply magical. Something new!
I have never had a scrub where you don't need to soften the skin with warm water first, so I was a bit skeptical when I tried it. But it worked very well on dry skin. The scrub has almost a sticky feel, which makes it adhere well to dry skin, and it doesn't leave any irritation either. I also tested the scrub on wet skin, and it's not recommended as it didn't stick as well. The scent itself is pleasant and mild. I thought it smelled a bit faintly of coconut oil, but very faintly. Nothing that bothered me. The packaging is also convenient to use as it comes in a tube. The skin felt smooth and hydrated after using the scrub. So it gets plus points for 😍 However, I don't know if I would want to buy the scrub myself as I am more used to other scrubs that are used on wet skin. A just right cream!
I love the scent of this body cream. Some scents I tolerate better than others, and this is one of the scents that I tolerate. I love the whole series, overall I love Rituals and have used their products for many years. The cream is just the right thickness in consistency and it absorbs quickly into the skin. It doesn't leave a sticky surface behind, and you could almost put on your clothes right away. The cream comes in a jar and is easy to use. What I would have needed, though, is a slightly thicker cream that penetrates a bit deeper and leaves the skin moisturized. I don't know if I think this cream moisturizes the skin well, but I like it because of the scent among other things and because I adore this brand. You get a lot of product for the money as well. Feels like coconut oil!
Yes, what do we think of this mask 🤔 I don't dislike it at all. What I like about it is that it melts very nicely in the hand when massaged in before being applied to the face. The feeling is almost like coconut oil but without the stickiness. It lays nicely on the skin and doesn't feel sticky, you get a shiny surface. The consistency of the mask is compact, so I first massage it into my hand before applying it to my face. It doesn't have a scent in my opinion, nothing I've noticed since I'm quite sensitive to scents. Sometimes I can tolerate strong scents, sometimes not. It depends on how the hormones in my body react from day to day, haha. I usually sleep with the mask on if I use it. Even though I like the mask, it feels like something is missing in terms of moisture since my skin loves moisture. When I wake up, the mask is still on and my face feels smooth from the mask, but as soon as I wash the mask off, my skin feels a bit tight. It feels a bit like the mask doesn't fully penetrate me. In my opinion, this mask should be used in the summer, but this year I need something more.
