Different Coconut Scent!
I needed a new body scrub and took a chance on trying a brand I’ve never tried before. Sometimes it’s a fail and sometimes it’s a home run. In this case, it was still a home run 😄 The scrub comes in a jar that is easy to open and convenient to use. The scrub is compact in consistency but still soft when it comes into contact with wet skin. The skin feels smooth afterward and hydrated. The scrub smells like coconut but a different coconut scent. I don’t know if this is the best coconut scent, but over time I’ve started to get a little used to it. If you buy the scrub, keep in mind that the scent can be very strong at first and a bit overwhelming. You get a lot of product that lasts a long time and is quite economical to use. Love for Kiehl's!
I have a love for Kiehl's products, and I like most of them, but I'm a bit unsure about this mask. I don't feel like it reaches all the way to my heart unfortunately 😏 The mask is creamy in consistency and contains, among other things, turmeric and cranberry. Hence the yellow color of the mask. The scent is natural and nothing that bothers. The design of the jar itself is nice and easy to use. What I find disturbing, however, are the crushed seeds from the cranberries that are supposed to gently exfoliate the skin. The problem with the seeds is that when the mask has dried on the skin, they are difficult to remove. The mask should sit on the skin for 10 minutes and can be used several times a week for a finer glow, more even and softer skin. Also avoid the area around the eyes. The mask is also supposed to be gentle on the skin. The question is then whether I think the mask is as gentle as it claims to be, and the answer is no, I don't think so. On a good day, my skin can handle most things, but on a bad day, my skin can handle nothing at all. The positive thing is that it lasts a long time and you don't need to use much. I don't know why I bought a large jar when I could have bought a small one. If I ever buy the mask again, I will go for a smaller jar. Nice mask but not nice enough. Refreshing Scrub!
A mild and soft facial scrub that is suitable for the opposite gender as well. I got a tip in the store to buy this as I was looking for a gentle product since I have sensitive skin, and I do not regret the purchase 🤩 The consistency of the scrub is compact when squeezed out but at the same time soft and fine-grained. I like that the scrub comes in a tube packaging, which makes it easier to get the product out. The scent is a bit reminiscent of mint and something else, but I can't quite place what it is. Especially when the scrub comes into contact with the face, you get a refreshing and tightening feeling. The face feels smooth and clean afterward. The best way to use the scrub is to first wet the face and then add the scrub afterward. I am very satisfied with the scrub, and it lasts a long time. Suitable for all skin types!
A nice facial cleanser that works for all skin types. The cleanser comes in a tube packaging that is easy to use. I think the product has a bit of a clinical scent, but nothing that bothers me. The cleanser itself is a bit on the firmer side. The consistency feels quite liquid and creamy when squeezed out. I think the best way to use the product is to dampen the face a little before application, as it makes it smoother to massage the product in and lift the oil; otherwise, it gets very sticky if you apply it to a dry face. Even though it is possible to apply the cleanser to a dry face, it is much better to apply it to a wet one. Before I read a bit about the product, I washed my whole face with the cleanser, including the area around the eyes, and that should be avoided as the skin around the eyes is thinner. Anyway, I thought the product removed waterproof mascara very well. No longer a favorite!
I have used Image for many years. I really liked their previous face cream that also contained SPF before they changed the consistency to adjust the cream and make it water-resistant. Even though the cream is water-resistant, it needs to be reapplied after 40 minutes if you swim. The cream now feels sticky when applied and is more compact. The scent is quite okay, nothing that bothers. The packaging is nice and easy to use. If you use a thicker serum underneath or something a bit oilier, the cream doesn't feel as sticky. In conjunction with water, I perceive the cream as stickier. The difference is significant when using the cream with and without serum or maybe even another cream before this one is applied. Then this one doesn't feel as sticky. I prefer slightly looser creams over compact ones. That said, I will not be buying the cream again. Can be used all over the body!
What’s great about this cream is that it can really be used all over the body. However, I have chosen to test it only on my face at night, but I will in the future test it on more parts of my body where I feel I need more moisture. The cream is fragrance-free, but I still think it has a barely noticeable natural scent that comes from the cream itself. The cream is a bit on the heavier side, it lays like a film on the face and leaves a hydrated surface all night. The cream is economical, and you don’t need to use much, but since I like moisture, I always take a little extra on my face where it’s needed. I feel satisfied with the cream overall. It comes in a tube and is easy to squeeze out. Since the cream lasts a long time if you only use it on your face, I also think it’s a reasonable price for it. Adds nothing to the skin!
The serum was recommended by an influencer via social media, hence the reason I bought it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have thought to buy it at all since I didn't even know it existed. The serum itself has a dropper in the bottle which is supposed to make the product come out of the bottle smoother, but this dropper is a bit annoying, sometimes the product gets pumped into the dropper directly and sometimes it doesn't. The scent is totally okay, nothing that bothers. I'm not a big fan of the serum. It sits okay on the skin, but I don't feel that it adds extra moisture or glow. Elroel!
I love Korean products, and sometimes I have to test them. This time I saw a foundation stick that looked very tempting. It comes in three different shades. The brush is removable, so you can easily wash it after use. The product is called Elroel in all its glory. What’s so special about this foundation is that the balm itself is white, and upon contact with the skin, the color changes. The foundation is supposed to melt 🫠 into your own skin tone. Which I think it does. It reminds me a bit of Nivea, it’s a bit sticky in consistency, moisturizing, and glowy. So it has it all. So what do I really think about the product is the question. It’s very easy to use and very cleverly designed. Because I have special skin and certain areas are dry, it can easily settle into the pores. Therefore, the product significantly lowered the rating. I felt that it settled in the dry areas on my skin. Therefore, it went directly from a favorite to a non-favorite. Unfortunately, there will be no more purchases of it. Dusty scent!
I don't really know what I think about this product. I bought this SPF because I thought it would be easier with a spray product. The packaging itself is easy to use, but I'm not so fond of the product itself. When you spray it on your face, it feels like it leaves a dusty scent, but the air also becomes thick/stifling. A nice gift!
The perfume comes in a small cute bottle. It was very hard to open the first time, but the other times it was much easier. Now onto the actual scent. The scent feels a bit floral and it sits nicely on the skin. However, I find that the scent unfortunately disappears very quickly. On the other hand, if you had the perfume on clothes, it lasted much longer, even a few days in a row the scent remained. Even though I like the scent, it’s not really a perfume to my taste.
