However, it feels like you’re just spreading the makeup around on your face, and it takes at least 4-5 cotton pads for the face to feel completely clean and free from makeup residue, hence the rating. I don’t use much makeup, just a thin layer of foundation and mascara basically. Even though I left it on for 12 minutes (recommendation 5-10 min), I see no difference in my hair. However, it does give some shine, and it was easy to brush out the hair afterward, so as a hair mask it does its job. If you are looking to change your hair color, this is not the right product. I have used it both on wet hair after showering and in dry hair for a little extra shine. It absorbs quickly into the hair and doesn't weigh it down. Highly recommend!
