I usually use blue shampoo when I've bleached my hair since I'm brunette and I don't get cooler tones from silver shampoo because I have too many orange/red pigments left. That's why I use blue as it removes those tones. So if you're brunette, I can't say if it works or not, but when bleaching if you want to get rid of the dark and orange tones this is fantastic! Takes down the yellow and orange tones, especially good since it comes with 2 color tubes and really lasts.
