I honestly thought that Lyko sold this? But like hello?? So good! A mild body mist that smells right at application and fades throughout the day. It really smells like cherries. Cherry jam, cherry candy - you will know that this is cherry! It’s a mist, so it’s mild and the scent isn’t overpowering or long-lasting, which is why I usually combine it with a perfume. Then it sits just right as part of your body scent, instead of being a heavy perfume that everyone can smell. So if you like to have a more "laid-back" perfume character, you can absolutely combine this with your perfume of choice. It also hasn’t bleached or worn on any clothes. Worth the price, I would say. And lasts long! However, there isn’t, in my opinion, a hint of chocolate. A mild mask that suits many
This mask has a lovely, mild scent and a nice consistency if you don't mind a little mess. The purpose of the mask is to cleanse the pores, something I still can't see any effect on, however, the skin becomes soft as a baby's bottom after use, so that's a plus. The mask comes with a small applicator which is great if you don't want to stick your fingers in the jar, HOWEVER, and I really want to emphasize this, you can't apply the mask with the applicator because the mask tends to stay on the applicator rather than the skin and "rolls" off and falls onto the floor/sink/counter instead. The mask is a bit difficult to remove because it has small soft grains in it, and these tend to get stuck right on the hairline, so I recommend using it before a shower so you can really get everything out. Impractical
Now I actually have to admit that I hated this product. Overall, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the formula, COSRX knows what they're doing, even though I've heard that sensitive skin should avoid certain of their products, BUT it's the worst pump I've ever dealt with. Since it's a so-called "Dual Essence", it's divided into 2 different substances, so the container is split into two. Then everything comes out through two tubes in the same opening with the same pump pressure. But the two components have different consistencies, so a lot of the thicker one comes out, but almost only air bubbles from the thinner one. So it's not effective at all, and I would prefer to just have their Snail Essence, without the whole "dual" thing (I've also bought that until this one runs out). But pump aside, I praised the formula - I want to emphasize that it is strong and does NOT work on wounds. If I had a scratch on my hand while using it, it burned like fire. Either this or Essence
All in one. What does that even mean in this case? I googled around a bit and asked AI and heard that All in One doesn't necessarily replace moisturizer but can help to "lock in" moisture. So I use this at the end of my skincare routine and it has worked well. Personally, I don't notice a big difference, but I really think my skin has been less dry in the face this winter. This with the assessment that my eczema on the body has itched with temperature changes and become dry, but nothing has happened in the face where I sometimes also get eczema. It definitely hasn't contributed to acne or clogged pores for me at least. However, I want to mention that you have to wait a while to put on makeup when you have this and moisturizer, otherwise the makeup just slides around on everything, or the primer "cakes" and you get those rolled skin-like things in places on your face. For me, it's enough with just a really good moisturizer and Essence. The product delivers what it promises
Gentle cleanser! I usually don’t use cleanser in the morning because I’ve heard it can dry out the body’s natural oils, and that it’s better to preserve them. But then I won this and thought "what the hell" I have to try it, and I like it! It’s mild and doesn’t dry out the face, but it also doesn’t make the skin oily. Now when I say it’s mild, I mean it doesn’t sting in wounds or around the eyes, gives a feeling of cleanliness but at the same time doesn’t dry out, however, it has a pretty strong smell that I still want to warn about. Think Tea Tree Oil and quite strong of that scent. So, if you are very sensitive to scents, this might not be for you. But overall, a great morning cleanser! Will I buy it again with my student budget? No, I will prioritize other things and stop using cleanser in the morning again, but I wouldn’t mind having it in my skincare routine and will use it until it’s gone - which I think will take time because it requires very little in damp palms to wash the whole face! Very disappointed
Received this soap as a gift because I have eczema. It works okay as a body soap, hence 2 stars. But as a shampoo, it is one of the worst products I've ever had! Let's start with the scent - Rosemary can smell nice and fresh, but this one does not. This smells so pungent that it reminds me of cat pee, I'm not joking. Someone who went into the shower after me agrees, and they don't even use the product themselves. Then we have the cleansing ability.... you know, that kind of hand soap, I've mostly encountered it abroad, that makes your hands feel "rough"? Meaning they stick together when you try to rub them under the faucet. This soap has the same effect but on the hair. It has the same effect as Eldorado's basic shampoo, but it doesn't dry out the hair to the same extent afterward. After 2 shampoos, since that's the advice on the bottle, my hair feels okay, but this perception quickly fails, and my hair gets dirtier/oilier faster than usual. Scalp? No difference. Lyrical over this cleansing!!!
the K-calendar delivers so far but I haven't planned to test the products until I've gotten all of them and can lay out a plan - you shouldn't test a bunch of new products at the same time because your skin might go "Woah stop there". But I couldn't help but test today's door (NOTE! Spoiler warning for door 5, hurry!) since it was an oil-based mouth cleansing. Now it's like I have a waterproof mascara (to try to commute in rain and slush with one eye running because it knows flr it and keep regular mascara in place 😭) and NO cleansing I've tested so far has dissolved the mascara. The closest contender has been Garners Miceller Oil in Water, and even here it unfortunately has to be rubbed (I know, ouch) and stays put next to the roots. But then I tried this today and OH MY GOD. A wash with following the instructions and POOF, completely gone, not a trace. The only trace left was the oil I apparently was too quick to get out completely🙈 and it doesn't sting, as mild as regular cooking oil, which makes the vision a bit blurry until you blink. So rinse thoroughly, good people! But it is so so good, easy to use, in a PUMP BOTTLE - aka the best there is for cleansing, and completely fragrance-free. Is it expensive? Smuuti again!!!!! But the shock continues!
I know I’ve already made a post about this product, but I noticed today how good it was at removing makeup! The spider around my eye in my previous post was gone with one wash! All cc cream, shimmer, and the result of 2 black eyeliners and a dark eyeshadow for shading. All gone with a little click and a lot of water to activate it with. Like, wow?
