Good perfume but no special scent
I wanted to be a test pilot for this perfume so my brother, who had been nagging about a new perfume, could try it. I myself tried mixing the perfume to see if it was possible to make it unisex as well, and this is how I experienced it. When we first opened the perfume, we were both impressed by the simple yet elegant design. It looks and feels like the bottle is made of real glass and not hard plastic. The design easily makes you want to try it, so I immediately had high expectations.🤩 When we tried the perfume, it had a not too strong but clear men's scent. Both my brother and I recognized the scent; my brother felt it was extremely similar to the Axe brand scent, and I completely agreed. It's a scent you recognize, which makes it not so unique or special. I myself had no expectations of what it might smell like but had hoped for a slightly more unique scent.🌸 My brother, even though he likes the scent, described it as an older man's scent. For that reason, he wouldn't want to use it much more. I also experimented a bit with the scent and tried mixing it with other women's perfumes with roughly similar scent bases. I did this to see if it could be used as a unisex perfume if mixed. The result was not very successful. Both my brother and I love perfumes and spend time finding perfumes we think are really good and pleasant. My brother often chooses perfumes based on the season, and right now it's summer season, and he wants a summer perfume. In the end, this was not a new hit for either me or my brother. The perfume has no unique scent, and according to my brother, it suits older men better. The perfume itself was very good, it smelled nice and had good longevity. It could last practically all day and still smell like perfume. The scent is quite strong but not too strong. It is strong enough that you could smell it through the other perfumes I mixed it with. For that reason, I would also say it's hard to combine this to get a unisex perfume without it basically only working as a men's perfume. Is it worth the money? If you know the typical Axe scent and like it, then YES. Not recommended due to price and not cruelty free
A little about me: I love perfumes of all kinds, especially those that smell lovely and last all day! This perfume smells very mild and pleasant and lasts all day. A great gift for the younger generation, who might be trying perfume for the first time! However, neither I nor my partner (who tested the perfume) find it particularly interesting or distinctive. It doesn’t smell very exciting or much at all. The packaging is sleek and high quality but also a bit boring. I actually preferred the design of the box the perfume came in! Overall, it feels more like a perfume suited for a younger user or someone who doesn’t want a strong or noticeable scent. My partner was a bit disappointed, preferring perfumes he already has from Rituals or The Body Shop, which were cheaper. Nostalgia times 1000
Okay, this one took me straight back to my youth! 😍 Fierce Confidence smells clean, fresh, and a bit sporty, but at the same time has a warm undertone that makes it very pleasant to wear. This is the kind of scent that feels "easy to like," and it works for both work, everyday, and a night out. Even though it’s marketed towards men, I think this is a really good unisex fragrance. It’s fresh without being too masculine, so it works for both women and men! The best thing about this perfume, though, is the nostalgia factor. If you’ve ever been inside an Abercrombie & Fitch store, you know exactly what I mean. The scent immediately gave me flashbacks to those dark stores with six-pack hunks, where they sprayed perfume everywhere, including on the clothes🤭 It’s almost like opening a little time capsule from the 2000s! Pretty okay
As a LykoTestpilot, I had the opportunity to test this perfume, and I am very grateful to have been one of the chosen ones. My first impression was very positive, mainly thanks to the bottle's design. It is sleek, elegant, and has an exclusive feel without being over the top. I also appreciate that the bottle is transparent, making it easy to see both the contents and how much product is left. Regarding the scent itself, I found it classic and masculine. It doesn't feel particularly unique or like a typical signature scent that you immediately recognize on someone passing by. However, that's not a negative. On the contrary, it has a very fresh and pleasant character that suits many occasions. At the first spray, I found the scent quite strong and intense, which made me a bit hesitant. After about 5-10 minutes, the experience changed significantly. The scent softened, became fresher, and gave a feeling of being freshly showered. For me, it is associated with summer, sunny days, and light clothing. It gives an energetic and fresh feeling that makes it perfect as an everyday perfume during the warmer months. I know some perceive it as unisex, but for me, it clearly leans towards the masculine side. Both my husband and I have used the perfume, but it is mainly him who has continued to use it. He also shares my view that it is a very nice and well-balanced scent. The less positive part is the longevity. Both my husband and I experienced that the scent disappeared relatively quickly. To maintain the same fresh feeling throughout the day, we needed to apply it several times. Considering the price, this makes me somewhat hesitant about a future purchase. I was one of the lucky ones to be #lykotespilot and try the #abercrombiefitch perfume. 😍 My first impression is that I liked the packaging. It was wine red with white letters. It felt luxurious and would make a great gift. The same feeling with the perfume bottle itself. It felt clean and fresh. The scent is nice, strong, but I thought it leaned a bit more towards a masculine perfume than a feminine scent. So it would be more like a unisex perfume. I would say the perfume has a strong scent that lasts well even after several hours. The wood notes are notes that show clearly and give it a more masculine vibe. I myself could wear the perfume because it smells good even though it is not a feminine scent. It also says it is a men's perfume but I think it works for everyone. I like the glass bottle because you can see how much perfume you have left. 👃 The smell Once sprayed, it starts very fresh, citrusy and light notes. This first impression is quite sharp and crisp. Floral yet still sweet!
I got to test this perfume with #lykoinflutester from #abercrombiefitch. Here’s what I think! The first impression was that it was a typical “perfume.” Sounds a bit strange maybe, but I really thought it just smelled like regular perfume. BUT. It has really grown on me. I like fresh, floral scents. My worst scent is sweet scents, and I was a bit worried about this one since it has vanilla in it. However, I don’t think it’s something that stands out too much in this. It’s more in the background and makes the scent a bit rounder and warmer. But what I find prominent is a fruity and youthful scent! I think the pear note comes through clearly at the beginning! 🍐 I really like the packaging. It feels sturdy. Extra points for how the cap is made, I think it’s nice that it’s secure and you just screw it up and down. I think it gets a little minus since it doesn’t last all day. There are few perfumes that do, but I feel that a 5 for me must last a long time on the skin. If you like a fresh, youthful scent but still have a sweetness to it, then I absolutely think this is worth trying! Love it, but wish it lasted longer
I received this perfume as a Lyko influencer tester and was actually positively surprised. The first impression is very fresh and a bit fruity, you can immediately smell pear, but it’s not too sweet or youthful like some other perfumes can be. After a while, the floral notes come through – jasmine and freesia – and that makes it feel feminine and a bit elegant without being “old ladyish”. What I like most is the base, when it settles it becomes warm and cozy with vanilla and amber. That makes it feel both fresh and sensual at the same time, and I think it works for both everyday wear and if you’re going out in the evening. For me, it lasts about a workday, but not much longer. The bottle is pretty and simple, a bit younger in design but still sleek enough not to feel cheap. In summary: a nice everyday perfume that feels just feminine and warm enough. It doesn’t stand out as much as some niche scents, but it’s easy to like and works in many different contexts. My rating: 5/5 – I like it, but I wish it lasted a bit longer. However, I want to add that it holds very well when you spray it on clothes even though it disappears from the skin quite quickly! Bourbon vanilla and I will unfortunately never agree...
This perfume is a bit like a riddle for my nose. It smells good, floral! BUT, sweet! I think, going into a flower shop and instead of them using a spray that is water, they have taken sugar syrup instead. It's like a sweet scent without smelling like a pastry. Yes, it has bourbon vanilla in the base and it's there without smelling like vanilla. But we will simply never agree. I think the scent lasts well for a long time. But especially a big plus for the bottle. Smart, compact, and without any unnecessary frills that just take up space while traveling. You can even lock it (by twisting the pink part) and it is without a cap. The latter is perfect for us clumsy ones who manage to misplace everything. I will probably spray this bottle up eventually, BUT deep down I know I will reach for another that suits me better. If you like floral and sweet scents that don’t make you smell like a freshly baked bun, then this one is for you! I am however incredibly curious about the male version of this as it has incredible notes in it.
