Lumene Nordic-C Glow Refresh Hydrating Mist is a moisturizing facial mist with, among other things, vitamin C, cloudberry, and hyaluronic acid. It can be used both as an extra hydration step under your moisturizer and over makeup when your skin needs a little refreshment during the day. This is one of those little bottles I keep finding myself reaching for 😍 The mist is light and fresh, and I especially like the lovely, fruity scent – it almost feels like giving your face a little orange shower 🍊😂 I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, so I’m a bit cautious with products that promise a lot of “glow.” I want a glow – but not to look like I’ve been running after the bus 😉 This works well when I use it in moderation. IDUN Minerals Hydra Soft Mineral Foundation has a light, silky-soft formula that melts into the skin, and the medium buildable coverage gives a light glowing finish. It is moisturizing, vegan, fragrance-free, and dermatologically tested. I really like this one! 😍 It feels light and comfortable on the skin but gives more coverage than I expected from such a light foundation. It evens out the skin nicely without the result feeling heavy or very "made-up." I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, and naturally, I notice that I can get a bit shiny throughout the day. I easily fix that with a bit of powder in the T-zone while letting the rest of my face keep that nice glow. That way, I get exactly the finish I like – fresh and natural, but not shiny. I think it looks best when I use relatively little product and build up coverage where I need it. A really nice summer cream 💧
I have used Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station throughout the summer, and this has been a very nice moisturizer for my oily skin. The texture is light and almost a bit gel-like, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. What I like best is that the skin gets plenty of moisture without the cream feeling heavy, greasy, or sticky afterwards. It has been especially nice on hot summer days when I didn’t want anything rich on my face. The skin feels soft, comfortable, and well-hydrated, yet still light. I also think it works well with the rest of my skincare and under sunscreen. It contains, among other things, glycerin and ectoin, which provide moisture and care, and the whole product actually feels very simple and uncomplicated – in a good way. I have fine, thin, and typically Scandinavian hair, and this works very well for me. I just use a few sprays on damp hair, mostly on the lengths, and that’s more than enough. This is a cleansing and peeling powder with enzymes and vitamin C. The powder is mixed with a little water in the hands and turns into a soft foam that is massaged over the skin. I use it 1-2 times a week, and it suits my skin very well. The best part is how little you actually need. A small amount is enough, so the bottle lasts incredibly long. After use, I think the skin feels clean, smooth, and soft, without becoming tight or dry. I have also not experienced irritation or any reaction to it, and for me it feels gentle even though it also provides a light exfoliating effect. A little tip: since this is a powder product, I wouldn’t store the bottle inside the shower or somewhere it’s constantly exposed to a lot of moisture. I keep mine dry between uses.
