I have soon used this product and I have liked it all the way. It is a light yellow cream that feels quite rich but absolutely not greasy. The light yellow color comes from the content of retinol, which is naturally light yellow and thus no added color. I have oily but dry skin that is sometimes very sensitive and sometimes not sensitive at all, and I have used this as the last step in my evening routine. The tube is only 20 ml, which I wasn't really aware of when I bought it. Usually, such products are at least 30 ml, and this tube has lasted me about 1.5 months, I think. The good thing is that the amount that is usually talked about actually lasts with this cream 🫛 It sinks nicely into the skin and leaves me with a feeling of sufficiency, if you can say so, meaning that I have gotten what I need in terms of both oil and moisture. It is very gentle and contains several soothing and strengthening ingredients. However, regarding the content of retinol, I haven't noticed it at all. This is the lightest variant, and I probably wouldn't choose it again since I am already used to retinol and imagine that I might need a little higher strength. However, low concentrations should not be underestimated, working on the skin barrier without irritation is actually worth its weight in gold. I need to remind myself of that, more is actually not always better. With that in mind, we have a really nice and gentle cream here that I would recommend to both beginners of retinol and others! My skin has been holding up pretty well without pimples lately, so much better than usual. And I’m pretty convinced that it’s since I started using this lovely product! I actually like everything I’ve tried from COSRX, but nothing has been as effective as this for me. I usually say that there are no miracle products, but this is actually almost one! 🙌 The product comes in a nice bottle with a pump. I usually take 4 pumps for my face. It’s thicker than water, but much lighter than gel. It sinks in very easily into the skin, but I often experience a little sting when I apply it, like niacinamide can do. A little with capital letters, because it’s really not a problem, but I’m also not particularly sensitive. It has a very interesting ingredient list! Hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and NAG are included, allantoin and niacinamide as well. And I can imagine that this product can suit many, with different types of needs for their skin. What I wish for, however, is regulation of oil production and a generally clearer and stronger skin. Take it with a grain of salt, but I feel that’s exactly what I’ve gotten! I’ve used it more intensively than I usually do with products, both morning and night. And I’ve had it as the first step after cleansing my face, because I imagine it’s most effective on completely clean and bare skin. Then I obviously have a whole bunch of products in my skincare routine, who knows if it’s the combination that works or a specific product... But it feels GOOD in any case, and I can absolutely recommend this! The bottle is pretty enough to sit out when not in use! + for the fact that the bottle is also big 🤝 This lives up to all expectations and has positively contributed to my skincare routine (+ for it being «snerte») 🫡🫢 I have combination + acne skin and my skin has loved this micellar water. I was so lucky to receive Cosrx's Low pH Niacinamide Cleansing Micellar Water to test, and I am truly positively surprised! I have been testing the product regularly for a few weeks now, which I do every time I try out new products to get the best possible effect from the product. I have tested my "fair share" of facial cleansers and makeup removers, and this one has lived up to and exceeded all my expectations! Both my sister and I have tested it since we have slightly different skin types, and it has worked really well for both of us. The product is very gentle on the skin, and I don't feel particularly dry or irritated afterward. I have tested both rinsing it off after use and letting it work on my skin until I use other products, and I must say that since not all products out there can be used this way, this one works great regardless! I have followed the instructions provided to test the removal of mascara or eye products, as I am not so keen on using such things on my eyes, but despite that, this works great as long as you rinse well afterward🙌 The bottle lasts you incredibly long - and considering the size of the product, you get a lot for your money here! Effective and Gentle
Cosrx Low pH Niacinamide Micellar Cleansing Water leaves the skin fresh and glowing. Just cleansing with micellar water leaves the skin clear and radiant, but by testing double cleansing, I've noticed that it particularly helps with evening out texture. I first cleanse the entire face of makeup and then go over the areas where the pores are enlarged or where there are often impurities (for me, these are for example the jaw area and forehead). I use this product after washing my face with my "regular" products, and I immediately noticed that my skin wasn't clean, even though I thought it was. It easily removes all makeup with this product. However, it stings in the eyes, so I've avoided that area. I do experience that my skin gets dry after this product, so I'm quick to moisturize with a hydrating cream. I've also had some "breakouts" on my face since I started using the product, like small pimples and bumps, but I can imagine that it might be "cleansing" the skin and that it will pass over time. The skin isn't really used to it yet. I've used the product morning and night, and I notice less visible pores, especially on my nose, which is a big plus! I always wash my face with double cleansing. For a while, I have been breaking the makeup surface first with an oily cleansing balm, followed by a cleansing foam. However, the oil-soluble cleansing balm has not been the perfect solution for my skin + the oil just ran out, so the opportunity to test COSRX's micellar water came at the perfect time! Who could the product be suitable for? I have always preferred micellar water for cleansing, as my skin is sensitive, dry, and the texture that has appeared on my jawline may be Fungal Acnea, which many oil-based products exacerbate. For facial cleansing, I recommend micellar water to anyone who has Fungal Acnea or where cleansing creams/oils tend to clog pores. How did I use it? 1. I started the cleansing by wiping my face with micellar water on a moistened cotton pad. 2. After that, I washed my face with my normal cleansing foam and rinsed thoroughly. 3. I started my skincare routine by using micellar water as a hydrating facial toner. So at this stage, I did not rinse the micellar water off :) Then I applied my serum, face cream, and other products as usual. Effectiveness: I was eagerly awaiting the results of COSRX's micellar water, as the product promises to control sebum production and hydrate sensitive skin. I had texture and clogged pores on my jawline, which I have not been able to get rid of with proper oil cleansing. To my delight, I noticed that the texture on my jawline had indeed decreased after a couple of weeks! I am a woman in my mid-thirties, who has actually never tried micellar water before. I have read about the so-called hype around it, but have never taken the time to test it, and therefore unfortunately I also have no product to compare this with. I absolutely think the product does its job, it removes makeup and other impurities in a gentle and lovely way. The size of the bottle is a big plus, and I don’t think you need particularly much product on the cotton pad either - this will last a long time! 🙌🏼 The micellar water is supposed to contain hyaluronic acid, however I don’t experience it as a glow product that adds a lot of moisture. It is absolutely not drying, but has therefore been used as a gentle cleanser that simply does its job. However, I already notice less visible pores! (Contains niacinamide). Nice addition to skincare routine
The product is colorless and fragrance-free. The packaging was neat and minimalist, which I personally like! I usually don't use micellar water in my skincare routines, as I remove makeup with oil- and water-based cleansers. I tried this cosrx micellar water both before and after my normal cleansing routine and I liked using the product more as a sort of finishing touch after washing my face. After about a week and a half of trying it, my skin is relatively in the same condition as before using the product, so not worse at least. It might be that using the product has even slightly prevented the formation of impurities, but it's hard to assess after such a short time. The product did not cause irritation for me, so if you are a regular micellar water user, I believe this will suit you! I also think there is a good price-quality ratio here. My Go-To Micellar Water
I was so lucky to receive COSRX's new Micellar Water as a #lykotestpilot 🤩 As a reference, I have combination skin and have really struggled with perioral dermatitis around my mouth in recent months. Oil cleansers can therefore be a bit too heavy, so it was perfect to test the cleansing water from COSRX. The bottle itself is large and holds a lot of product. I was a bit worried that the bottle would leak in my toiletry bag, but it hasn't done that at all 👍🏼 Here are the benefits I've experienced with the product: ⭐️ Effectively removes all makeup, both face and eye makeup ⭐️ Fragrance-free and gentle on the skin, doesn't feel tight afterwards. ⭐️ Doesn't irritate my perioral dermatitis (big plus) ⭐️ Doesn't clog pores ➖ One downside is that the product can sting a bit in the eyes when removing mascara. I use a mascara that is quite difficult to remove (Glöd Volume & Lengthening Mascara) and therefore have to rub a bit to get it off (I even have to do that with oil cleanser). You don't need to cleanse your skin any further after use, but I do it anyway as I like to double cleanse. I had the opportunity to test this micellar water and wow! I have acne-prone skin for reference and am currently taking acne medication that dries out my skin and makes it more sensitive. ✨ My first impression is a sleek bottle with a lot of product in it (!!) I have previously used the slightly cheaper micellar waters from Garnier and was initially skeptical due to the small price difference. 💅🏼 But, incredibly good product. ⭐️ Has no scent and is light and nice on the skin. (In comparison to Garnier, this feels more watery and lighter). ⭐️ Does not clog pores, which is a big plus. ⭐️ Skin feels smooth and not tight at all. ⭐️ The product really does the job and removes all makeup very easily, making it last longer!! The only negative I have to say is that it can sting a little in the eyes when removing eye makeup. The sting is not unbearable and goes away pretty quickly in my opinion, but still worth mentioning. I've seen several people mention this. So, if you're looking for a micellar water that works well for sensitive eyes with eye makeup, this might not be your best friend.
