PDRN Serum
Iāve been so lucky to get to test Cosrxās PDRN Serum š§” First, I just want to start by saying I love the color choice on the packaging of this line š§” Iām a big fan of K-beauty and Cosrx. And Iām well familiar with this line already, as Iāve already run out of my own products. The serum has a light texture. Itās a bit thicker than the toner in the same line, but still light and absorbs nicely without feeling sticky. Since I have several steps in my skincare routine, I love that itās a light serum and I can finish with a slightly heavier cream now in the summer. The skin gets a nice glow, becomes hydrated, and feels soothing š§ Great that it comes in a pump bottle so the product isnāt exposed to bacteria. The main ingredient in this line is PDRN, which is extracted from salmon DNA (often sperm cells). And yes, it sounds scary, but compared to snail slime, it puts things into perspective. Tip: place them in the fridge for an extra cooling effect. āļø I actually tested an eye patch on my partner. He also commented on the cooling effect, and we left it on for about 10 minutes. The biggest difference we saw was when we took it off and compared it to the other eye. He looked SO much more awake, his ābagā under the eye appeared smaller, and we also thought he got a generally more even skin tone. My aging skin is combination and surface dry, with a lot of texture including acne scars. As an influtester, I got to try this stick-form sunscreen, and it definitely lived up to all expectations! It gave the skin a lovely matte finish, with no white or any other excess left on the skin ā just a beautiful matte surface, exactly what I want. My aging skin is combination and surface dry, with a lot of texture including acne scars. I was already excited about the toner from this line, so expectations were high. And it did not disappoint!š¤© The texture was really interesting, as it was generally "more watery" ā and this was actually a super good thing, as it made it much easier to understand layering different products and choosing the right order. The product was easy to apply, absorbed quickly, and didnāt leave any heavy or sticky feeling on the skin. Where did I notice the effect? I use Cosrx C-Vitamin 23 serum, which usually dries out the skin if I donāt use a good and really moisturizing cream at the same time. The sun stick is completely transparent, and at first glance, I wonder if it will protect at all. The packaging's shape and size fit perfectly in the handbag, and I mainly use the stick for touch-ups during the day on the face, dĆ©colletĆ©, and shoulders. Iāve tried out these eye patches from cosrx. Iām a big fan of eye masks and have tried many different brands over the years. I really liked these! They sit well under the eyes. I make sure to use SPF 50 on my face. On my body, I use 30 or less. So I have only tested this on my face. The stick is very small and cute, practical size. The texture is quite matte and not sticky. Feels light on the skin. Almost makes me wish you could feel it moreš«£ because itās so light and matte, itās hard to tell how much youāve applied. So for me, I miss a regular cream form. In my series of finding BGA (Black Girl Approved) sunscreens, I have tested the Airy-Light Invisible Sun Stick by #cosrx as #lykoinflutester. By BGA, I mean products that donāt leave a white cast so you donāt look like a ghost. I was super excited to try the product since I love Korean products. The product promises to control sebum and reduce shine. High protection SPF 50 PA++++ with an ultra-light texture that gives an even, matte, and comfortable feel all day. BIG CLAIMS (I know) but the product delivered! It was easy to use, no sticky feeling, and melted into the skin without problems. HOWEVER, as you can see in the video, the sunscreen clumped up?!! Like what?! I think the sunscreen must have reacted with my skincare. But I just massaged it in and the clumps disappeared. Because of that, it gets 4/5 āļø Overall, I recommend the product! Itās easy to apply, easy to carry in your handbag, and delivers what it promises. Happy? Super thin and comfortable!
Wonderfully thin and nice eye gels that are easy to hygienically pick out of the packaging. The first one I used had a bit too much product on it and therefore slid off my face when I walked around, but after youāve taken the top ones, itās easier to get the right amount of serum with the eye gel. Due to the thin consistency, they easily conform to the face and stay well in place until they dry in. The skin around my eyes is very sensitive, and I get eczema from certain eye gels from other brands. Thatās why Iām happy to have now found a variant that moisturizes and refreshes without irritating. Fast absorbing, works under makeup!
At the first pump, I am surprised that the serum has such a runny consistency. It feels completely water-based and is therefore absorbed very quickly into the skin. This allows for quick makeup application and makes the serum a good choice for the day. The effect of the serum feels very low, and I think I can achieve the same feeling with just a cream and thus skip a step. For me with dry skin, I prefer a stronger oil-based serum and would therefore not recommend this to others with dry skin.
