I have been searching for the perfect sunscreen for years. I have tried everything from thick, white creams that leave a horrible cast, to oily variants that make my skin feel like a deep fryer. This is definitely one of the most effective home products I have used so far🤩. I have dry skin and a combination skin where I am starting to see signs of aging. Additionally, I have acne scars that I have learned to live with, but I am excited if I can get rid of them😅. Here are a few pluses first; 👍 evens out skin tone and surface 👍 Is economical, a few drops are enough 👍 The scent is not very strong in my opinion (although it usually doesn't bother me😆) 👍 A slight tingling on the skin (when I started using it, it felt like that for a while) I think it's nice to notice concretely that the product works.... Of course, sometimes it can mean something completely different🙈, but in this case, it meant effectiveness😁 I added even more effectiveness after some time of use by spraying rose water before the product and on damp skin I added the serum. And something I might have noticed if you want to try the product😇 ~KEEP THE PRODUCT IN THE CABINET! I confirmed this with customer service when I couldn't find it mentioned after the purchase. I saw that the effects remained in the product. ~Since the product is effective, it can also dry out, so it's good to have a moisturizing serum etc. in use every other day, or that's what I did to avoid dry skin ~The shelf life is stated to be 2 months 😐, and I think that's really little... But I understand that this ensures the product's 'effect' and I understand that they are indicative. (The Candy Day blog has a good article on shelf life if you're interested). All in all, I noticed after a couple of weeks that my skin was better in tone. I also received compliments and questions at work about what I have done since my skin is glowing 🤭😁. I’m starting to get darkness and dryness under my eyes due to aging, so any moisture help is necessary for me😅 this provided significant help and moisture already at the first use. The product comes with a little 'spoon' that makes it easier to separate the 'slimy' patches from each other🤭 they are really slippery, so be careful not to let them slip away🤭 It might be that plastic tweezers would be 🥄 a better option🤔 the moisture feeling lasts quite a while but doesn’t interfere with makeup, for example. I put the patches under my eyes after my morning wash, enjoy my coffee, and while they work, I already do my brow makeup. I don’t need to use them every morning, just for example every few days (n4 days) in between since they hydrate so well. I keep them in the fridge which refreshes them even more and feels good under the eyes, so there’s no more puffiness🥳 At first, I had trouble getting them to fit under my eye, but I turned them the other way around and the problem was solved. #cosrx products have definitely not disappointed me, they deliver quality and still at an ok price🤩 what could be better. Amazing! I have finally found an SPF that doesn’t feel like anything on the skin. I have dry combination skin that is starting to show signs of aging (40 years old), so protection has become even more important. #cosrx sunscreen hydrates without being sticky, greasy, or anything you would even notice on the skin, except for the moisture🤩. It also doesn’t leave any visual white cast like some can. It doesn’t really smell like anything, maybe lightly of cream if anything. When applying it to the skin, I notice a light cooling sensation that feels really nice. Since the end of last year, I have almost used up a whole bottle, which makes me think it’s still quite economical. #Spf needs to be applied in reasonable amounts to achieve protection. I have soon used this product and I have liked it all the way. It is a light yellow cream that feels quite rich but absolutely not greasy. The light yellow color comes from the content of retinol, which is naturally light yellow and thus no added color. I have oily but dry skin that is sometimes very sensitive and sometimes not sensitive at all, and I have used this as the last step in my evening routine. The tube is only 20 ml, which I wasn't really aware of when I bought it. Usually, such products are at least 30 ml, and this tube has lasted me about 1.5 months, I think. The good thing is that the amount that is usually talked about actually lasts with this cream 🫛 It sinks nicely into the skin and leaves me with a feeling of sufficiency, if you can say so, meaning that I have gotten what I need in terms of both oil and moisture. It is very gentle and contains several soothing and strengthening ingredients. However, regarding the content of retinol, I haven't noticed it at all. This is the lightest variant, and I probably wouldn't choose it again since I am already used to retinol and imagine that I might need a little higher strength. However, low concentrations should not be underestimated, working on the skin barrier without irritation is actually worth its weight in gold. I need to remind myself of that, more is actually not always better. With that in mind, we have a really nice and gentle cream here that I would recommend to both beginners of retinol and others! A lightweight sunscreen with really good protection. It has a light fragrance and no white cast. The package is quite small, so easy to take it with you throughout the day. Edit. I have been using this for sometime now. Even if l start with a washed face and no product underneath, this sunscreen will roll off my face and form little white strings. A New Total Favorite
My skin has been holding up pretty well without pimples lately, so much better than usual. And I’m pretty convinced that it’s since I started using this lovely product! I actually like everything I’ve tried from COSRX, but nothing has been as effective as this for me. I usually say that there are no miracle products, but this is actually almost one! 🙌 The product comes in a nice bottle with a pump. I usually take 4 pumps for my face. It’s thicker than water, but much lighter than gel. It sinks in very easily into the skin, but I often experience a little sting when I apply it, like niacinamide can do. A little with capital letters, because it’s really not a problem, but I’m also not particularly sensitive. It has a very interesting ingredient list! Hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and NAG are included, allantoin and niacinamide as well. And I can imagine that this product can suit many, with different types of needs for their skin. What I wish for, however, is regulation of oil production and a generally clearer and stronger skin. Take it with a grain of salt, but I feel that’s exactly what I’ve gotten! I’ve used it more intensively than I usually do with products, both morning and night. And I’ve had it as the first step after cleansing my face, because I imagine it’s most effective on completely clean and bare skin. Then I obviously have a whole bunch of products in my skincare routine, who knows if it’s the combination that works or a specific product... But it feels GOOD in any case, and I can absolutely recommend this! I was so lucky to receive Cosrx's Low pH Niacinamide Cleansing Micellar Water to test, and I am truly positively surprised! I have been testing the product regularly for a few weeks now, which I do every time I try out new products to get the best possible effect from the product. I have tested my "fair share" of facial cleansers and makeup removers, and this one has lived up to and exceeded all my expectations! Both my sister and I have tested it since we have slightly different skin types, and it has worked really well for both of us. The product is very gentle on the skin, and I don't feel particularly dry or irritated afterward. I have tested both rinsing it off after use and letting it work on my skin until I use other products, and I must say that since not all products out there can be used this way, this one works great regardless! Huge thanks to Lyko for letting me test this product! Info about me: • 26 years old • dry and sensitive skin • uneven skin texture The product easily removes makeup. I use this product after washing my face with my "regular" products, and I immediately noticed that my skin wasn't clean, even though I thought it was. It easily removes all makeup with this product. However, it stings in the eyes, so I've avoided that area. I do experience that my skin gets dry after this product, so I'm quick to moisturize with a hydrating cream. I've also had some "breakouts" on my face since I started using the product, like small pimples and bumps, but I can imagine that it might be "cleansing" the skin and that it will pass over time. The skin isn't really used to it yet. I've used the product morning and night, and I notice less visible pores, especially on my nose, which is a big plus!
