I had the honor of winning a competition here on Lyko: a primer from E.L.F power grip This primer is a primer I really recommend! The makeup holds, it gives glow and is not so expensive! A 10/10. Sometimes I can feel that some primers are way too expensive and give the same effect as a cheap one. While other cheap primers are cheap for a reason, this primer is so worth the price! I think it holds ALMOST all day, I work at a preschool and feel that sometimes I get splotchy after almost the whole day has gone by. Therefore, I still think this one holds almost all day. I use this primer together with setting spray from the same series. I’m a bit cautious with the setting spray because I feel the makeup moves and it’s easy to get splotchy if I have too much setting spray. This setting spray is "dewy" and makes my makeup look fresh. I have been looking for a more wallet-friendly moisturizer than the one I usually buy. Finally, I found it🙌 I was so happy when I found out that #lyko would finally start selling #elf because I have heard so many good things about the holy hydration line. I have normal/combination mature skin, which is always drier in the winter❄️ This moisturizer is rich and hydrating without feeling too greasy. It has a subtle and fresh scent. It is also available fragrance-free if you prefer that🥰 I use it both morning and night. It works great under my foundation and hasn’t clashed with any of my other skincare products except for my alpha arbutin serum. It does crumble a bit. But that doesn’t bother me since I only use this serum in my evening routine🌙 So here in winter, I have to supplement with a night mask. But I have to do that regardless of which moisturizer I use💧 In summary, this product gets full marks🎉 It differs by hundreds of crowns from the one I usually use🤭 It was definitely a repurchase🥰 #lykoreview

There are maaaany different lenses to pimp up your costume with. I’ve previously had a pair that are completely red, with a hole for the pupil, and they are cool but look pretty hysterical. My tip, if you want a pair with color but that doesn’t look REALLY that crazy, is to look for a pair with dark edges and a little pattern, like the ones I have on here. It becomes more toned down but still with color. There’s a bit of charm in noticing first up close that “wait, there’s something off about those eyes.” Besides red, I’ve seen yellow and green. I was actually so surprised by this product. Even though it’s white, it doesn’t leave any residue. It has incredible hold, and the brows are set for the rest of the day. I live in Bergen, and the brows survive the rain here. That says a lot!! If I had run a marathon in a storm, I’m sure they would still have been flawless afterward. Me in the middle of October: “I’m not going to engage that much in Halloween this year” Also me, but on Halloween: …👻😅 This year it turned into some kind of medusa/snake hybrid, and it was definitely great to nerd out on things for it too! 😁 FACE I started by applying eyeshadow primer #urbandecay on the areas I wanted to paint “scales.” Then I took a pair of fishnet tights and pulled them over my head and dabbed eyeshadow on the areas I wanted scales on. I was lucky to find the last green palette from #elf (one shadow was broken so that was probably the reason it was left) and it was PERFECT for this. After I took off the tights, I powdered with #nyx HD powder, which goes on translucent, and then settingspray #urbandecay. Then I went in with #isadora matte primer and #lumene blur foundation where it was missing. Another round with nyx hd powder and settingspray. EYES The eyes got the same base with eye primer and the shadows from elf. A black shadow from #thebalm added some depth and smoke. I used gray kajal #loreal both around the lash lines and brows. A trick I came up with when I forgot kajal once was to use the mascara, take a bit of it on a brush, or the back of a knife, which was the solution back then 😅 and paint/stamp. Since the #bbia mascara is the most waterproof I know, I also drew a line of it along each lash line and used it with the mascara brush for the lashes. A couple of red lenses from a local store. HAIR I prepped my hair with mousse and put it up in a ponytail with parts of my hair on top of my head. Then I wrapped strands around the snakes and secured the strands with pins. I sprayed everything with #rco finish spray. The snakes were black but painted with nail polish and acrylic paint. NAILS I painted a black base and painted the threads on plackers and “stamped” the other colors a bit here and there. I used some random brands. The top coat is from #sechevite. FRAGRANCE #ysl Opium Nice and tidy at home after the “extra everything makeup” 😅 Last photo with white over the eyes (I spare you my eyes that are red from both lenses and the fact that it’s around 5 AM. Do you see what insane durability the makeup had?! 12 hours of makeup, five of which were at a party and five at the bar. It was definitely a good idea to use the eyeshadow primer even under the pattern. The pattern can’t really be improved once it’s set, so I’m pleasantly surprised. 🤗 #halloween24

I have a small sink, so I usually just wash with micellar water to avoid getting wet, but luckily I train a lot, and then cleansing balm feels TOP for a dry skin! I have previously tried cleansing balm from Clinique and Banila, both of which are in a higher price category. Cleansing balm is... hm... the consistency is like softer coconut fat, and when you put it on your face, it melts on the skin and dissolves the makeup. Then you rinse it off. The feeling is a significantly softer and gentler removal of makeup than regular washes or 5 cotton pads with micellar water 🤷‍♀️ However, I usually do a round with micellar water afterwards to make sure everything is gone. The packaging is a plastic jar, and inside there is an extra lid and a small spatula. The spatula is really handy to have so you don't have to dig with your nails and fingers! I choose to compare this with Banila, which is closest in price and is the most well-known. (Clinique is, however, my favorite). The consistency of this is a bit more oily than Banila, but you don't need more product for the same result. I think they are clearly equivalent, and price-wise I see no reason not to buy this instead of the more expensive one. However, I raise a warning finger for the following: ⚠️ the labeling under the jar, on the outside, dissolves from the oils in the product, which has ruined my bathroom cabinet (in rental apartment) as it has stained the wooden surface when I moved it with balm on my hand, and now it can't be removed. VERY bad elf 😥 ⚠️ So considering what has happened, I may not earn that much from this purchase, personally, anyway... 😤😢 but the product itself IS good, and I will continue to buy it (but remove the text underneath immediately) #elf #lykoreview

I think the e.l.f. Lash XTNDR Mascara in Pitch Black is a pretty okay mascara. It gives my lashes an intense black color and lifts them so they look longer and fuller. The formula feels light and doesn't clump, which makes the lashes look natural even though you can apply it multiple times for a dramatic effect. The brush is designed to catch all the lashes, even the smallest ones, so the result is even and nice. The only downside is that it's not waterproof, so it can smudge a bit on humid days. But for daily use and at such a good price, I would definitely recommend it. A budget-friendly mascara that delivers far beyond expectations🤩🙌🏽 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #ELF

e.l.f. Power Grip Primer has become one of my favorites when I want my makeup to last all day. It has a slightly sticky consistency upon application, but that makes the makeup really "stick" and stay in place for a long time. I also love that it contains hyaluronic acid, which provides extra moisture to the skin and makes the makeup look fresh and glowy. It works well on my combination skin, and I've noticed that it smooths out my pores and gives a smooth base for foundation. e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil in the shade Jam Session has become my new favorite in everyday life. It is so moisturizing and softening for my lips while giving a nice glossy finish. The color is sheer but still gives a lovely berry-toned hue that enhances your natural lips. I love that the formula isn't sticky, which many other lip oils can be, but it glides easily on the lips and feels very pleasant. I really love the e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush in the shade Peach Perfect. The color is very natural and gives a nice, peach-colored glow. The formula is light and blends easily into the skin without feeling heavy or cakey. The best part is that only a small amount is enough to achieve a nice, buildable color that lasts all day. I like that it dries to a semi-matte finish, which makes it perfect even for me with slightly oilier skin. The packaging is also convenient to toss in your bag and take with you! No, this unfortunately became a flop for me, I thought it did nothing for my lips. It doesn't feel nourishing or provide much shine. I have slightly flaky lips and constantly use products on my lips, everything from lip gloss to lip oil and lip balm. I feel like this disappears from my lips in 10-15 minutes, so absolutely short-lived results. This shade is pretty much completely transparent. It's a very nice applicator that is sooooo soft on the lips, I also love that it almost pops up when you twist the cap off, but it still doesn't come out. A little detail that I think many understand, which depends on sitting and "playing" with caps, pens, and everything you can find 😅 It has a slight mint flavor and you can feel the minty on the lips, can be nice during the day but not something I like for nourishing purposes. I really think this is a beauty product more than nourishing for the lips anyway. I will not buy this product again, I think there are many better alternatives for this amount.

I usually prefer a bit more red tones for my blush since I think it suits my face, which already has a bit of pink tones. But I think this color called "Dusty Rosé" looks very natural and nice on me and is perfect for everyday use! However, I think the product dries a bit too quickly. You have to be quick to blend it out. Which makes this product hard to work with. I, who have very dry skin, need a bit more creamy products, and this unfortunately becomes a bit too dry. Such a shame! But if you are a bit more on the oily side, I definitely think this is a product for you! 🥰 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #ELF

I really like this cream blush, maybe the color isn't quite 100% right for me, but I've still used it frequently! It's well pigmented and has such a nice shimmer in it that is light-reflective, I tried to capture it in the little video. I find it easy to work with, I dab the product directly on my face and blend it out with a brush. Finally, I blend the last bit with a sponge to soften the final result. However, it feels like it's a bit patchy, but it's hard to determine if it's the product itself or the combination with my foundation that I'm using. I really dislike this packaging, it brings my rating down a lot. I know many love the little "sponge", but I just think it gets messy and hard to control how much product comes out. It also feels like you're wasting a lot of product. Especially if it gets a little "squished" in the makeup bag, then there's product everywhere in the cap. However, I think the price is incredible for what you get, Elf really makes great products for a low price. I will definitely explore other colors and see if I can find a shade that suits me a little better! #elf #lykoinflutester

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try e.l.f. Power Grip Primer and I am impressed. I have tried a lot of different primers in various price ranges and I feel that this one delivers on its promises. In the first selfie, I didn't use it, and in the rest, it's included in my base makeup. I've used this every day I've worn makeup, and my makeup has lasted all day despite challenges with a workday at the office, rainy weather, training, and nightclub. The primer has a gel-like consistency, which initially made me a bit cautious, but as long as you let it set for about 30 seconds, it works perfectly. I generally have dry skin, so I appreciate that this one feels moisturizing as well. Very affordable too. Highly recommend! #elf

Is this one of the most hyped primers right now? Yes, and I get the deal! First and foremost: the combo of tube + pump is genius and I never want to have liquid products without this again! It’s so easy to apply to the skin, even though it’s "grip", it feels so soft and light during application. I find it easy to work into the skin and it lays down completely naturally. It’s not in the same class in grip as Milk’s counterpart, but for that price difference, this is definitely much more worth it! My chaotic skin is both red, bumpy, porous, oily, and dry at the same time. I’m in a bad phase with my skin (have mild acne), so the evening-out part is probably too tough for me to judge right now. I don’t get any reactions at least, and it feels incredibly nice on my skin and also quite mild and gentle. Regardless, the makeup lays nicely on it, I always apply foundation with a brush that I dab/press into the skin. It doesn’t flake on me, and the makeup goes in well with the primer. The makeup stays in place all day, for sure, sweat-proof and all! The reason it doesn’t get a full score is that I haven’t noticed any difference in evening out the skin as it claims to do, and there are actually better grip primers. However, I will continue to buy this, as I said, the price makes it all! #elf #lykoinflutester

I’ve tried the e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil in the shade Jam Session and it fits me like a glove. Honestly.. since this came home to me, it has been my companion! It has moved between my work bag and handbag. Wow wow wow! It gives a nice shine and is such a pretty color that brightens up my everyday makeup. It looked really nice to layer over lipstick too! I think the shade that appears on the lips from this lip oil reminds me a lot of Clinique's classic black honey lip stick but at a third of the price. Very affordable! Do you want a mascara that really makes your lashes pop with volume, strength, and length? This one is for you! I naturally have pretty long lashes, maybe just above "medium length", but this mascara still gives me a wow feeling! It's extremely easy to work with; I apply 1 layer and then just enhance where needed with an extra layer, but I curl the lashes first! It does weigh the lashes down a bit after curling them, at least when you apply mascara all the way to the root. This is, however, completely unavoidable when it’s not waterproof, of course. It really doesn’t smudge, which you can see on the brush that it looks completely clean. Any mess that might occur at the lash line comes off sooooo easily with a cotton swab afterward. Plus, it washes off so easily? I don’t understand how that’s possible, but it just glides off without rubbing 🤖🏽 Also, it should be added that it stays put like a charm hour in and hour out throughout the day! Pretty okay sweat-resistant; I, who work with training and sweat a lot (hello HIIT classes), think it’s more than acceptable after a workout since it doesn’t run off, but it does leave a few smudges around the eyes. As proof, I’m including a picture taken a minute after a Sprint + Bodyattack class (sweat fest) where I’m wearing this mascara!!
