Time for a little update on the trash again! #empties #empties2024 is coming to an end ✌️ Me and the kids have used up 2 leave-in conditioners, both are okay and save us from the worst tangles👋 I've also used up 2 packs of Cooling eye pads from absolute new york, which are favorites, they are very cheap but really good ☺️👋🤩 got a sample of a Honey mask🐍🍯 from "im from" that was really nice and moisturizing too, but I'm not a big fan of the sticky feeling on my face 😅 The cream face palette from will i am I have tried to throw away before, but thought maybe it could work to use in some way... But no, it has dried out and I have to give up😫😉 my new favorite serum from Nivea is really good ☺️👋 but sadly it runs out quickly and feels a bit expensive🤚 Ida Warg tanning drops have given me a really nice gradual tan without the risk of looking patchy, recommend! But now I’m going to be the winter ghost I am 👻☺️😉👋 Cerave spf has run out. I like it a lot but have heard that they are not cf, so I won't repurchase. Technic eye pencil was completely useless so it has to be thrown away almost unused 🤚 can't even be used for the kids to play with... For the first I bought brown color but it is almost black. Then it is so hard that it gives no color near the eye and on the skin it hurts to try to use it😫😫😫 an hollowed-out nail polish has done its job!👋👋 With sadness, I must say that the too faced peach perfect powder is gone after four years (!!!!!!) I have loved it but unfortunately can't buy it again 🤚🤚🤚 A CC primer from lumene is gone, but that's okay I have backup 😉😉😉 My loreal serum foundation is gone, really good but not cf, won't buy again!🤪 A brow pencil that has a little bit left but is completely dry 😆🏼 some samples of shadows from tikei (hard to work with, gets too much on the brush when it's in loose powder shadow🤚) lastly my brow soap from makeup Mekka! Then it's in my project pan but I don't even want to use it anymore because it feels disgusting😫😆🤪 even though I have a limit😫🤪😉 That was all my trash for this time! Even though I finally got my empties done on time for once, I didn’t get my butt in gear until now, 2 weeks later😩😤 FIRST UP ARE MY 🙌FAVORITES🙌 THAT I’VE REVIEWED MOST OF WHAT’S AVAILABLE ON LYKO SO I WON’T LIST EVERYTHING: 🙌Kocostar Bakuchiol sheet mask. 🙌Avant sheet mask with lovely nourishing rose🌹☺️ Got it in some box and wanted to buy another but fainted when I saw the price😱 - like 200 kr + shipping from the UK😳 🙌Dermosil Vitamin Treatment - good hair mask! 🙌Bubble T eye masks - the blue and the gold one were good 🙌Amika Perk up dry shampoo - mild and nicely scented and removed the greasiness in a good way. 🙌Heartfelt melon-scented🍈 salt spray. 🙌Mádara Botanic Retinol - lovely Bakuchiol serum. Already bought a full size☺️ 🙌Frudia hand cream with peach🍑 Contains silicone which I don’t like since it doesn’t do any good for the skin other than temporarily, but still the cream was very nice😋 OK😐 😐Bubble T pink eye mask - worse than the others. 😐Tolpha micellar water - a bit too strong rose scent and not so good. 😐Yves Rochers cooling Detox shampoo I’ve had before in the summer for my sweaty, oily scalp, but now they changed the formula so it wasn’t as good or nice at all. 😐Skincity Daily defense spf 50 - unfragranced day cream with spf 50. Meh. 😐Ion silver silver cerate. Sisådär and one day it suddenly went rancid😤 probably because it was too warm where it was near the window. 🛑NO - NOT FOR ME🛑 🛑Sans Soucis Illuminating Pearl ampoules. A bit too strong perfume, Contains mica which I think belongs in makeup, and I got tiny bumps on my nose from them😤 Can’t remember why I bought them🤔😅 🛑Mediheals sheet mask Acaiberry - did zero good. 🛑Biodroga 5% peptide serum smelled SO bad: like rancid, smoked fish🐟🤢 Must have been something wrong with it because if it’s supposed to smell like that, WHO would want to buy it???😅 It was unusually little trash for me in October, but it’s still always (too) much! Here comes my makeup version of #empties2024 😊 I've gathered this throughout the year! In this category, I also count perfume and brow/eyelash serum. Due to my illness ME, which unfortunately gives me extremely weak, easily fatigued muscles, I can't use makeup as I would like. It ends up being a maximum of a few times a week - at most. Many weeks nothing, but I try to squeeze in some lip gloss or lipstick at least, which I love💋☺️ FAVORITES👍 👍Alimas Pure "Satin matte foundation" in "Cool" - super good mineral foundation from the American organic brand Alima Pure. The shade was perfect for my extremely pale skin with a cool undertone! Unfortunately, it's no longer available. 👍Maria Åkerberg "Compact cover" in "Light" - pressed organic powder foundation, also a super good shade for me. 👍Novexpert "La Creme au caramel" - chocolate-scented, organic BB cream. Super good but a bit dark, even though I had the lightest shade, so I had to mix it with my sunscreen. Worked in the summer, not otherwise due to my paleness🔥 👍The Swedish mineral makeup brand Back to Earths samples you buy are perfect when you're trying to find your way😊 "Mineral Veil" is intended as a light blurring product to use under or over foundation. It's super light = perfect as foundation for me😄 Best in the summer when my dry skin isn't quite as dry as usual. 👍Eyeshadow "Misty Pink" - petal pink = very light and very cool shade. Almost identical to British Lily Lolos "Peekaboo", which has been my favorite for many years, but it's hard to find in Sweden, so maybe this will have to be the substitute going forward. 👍Blush "Melrose" - also in a cool pink. So pretty that I bought it in full size even though I already have about 6 blushes😤 👍The Swedish Tikei also makes mineral makeup. They offer sample jars to buy, and each jar lasts several uses👍 Concealer "Jojoba Rose" is the variant for dry skin with a cool, light, slightly pink undertone. Worked well under the eyes mm this summer, but unfortunately becomes too dry for me the rest of the year. 👍Lumene brow gel was okay but not more - didn't quite reach for my slightly stiff brow hairs. The brows also become a bit stiffer with age🔥 👍Anestasia Beverly Hills brow serum I think made my brows a bit softer and I BELIEVE they grew more (I only used it at night), which I don't need😁 but nice that they became softer = more manageable! 👍Artdeco "Mineral lip liner" in "Deep Rose 46" has of course been discontinued because it was so nourishing and super pretty🔥 🔥Zuii mascara in "Granite" - such a pretty gray-black shade from the Australian organic brand Zuii. Very nice and didn't irritate at all despite the rose perfume 🌹 that is in all their makeup products. 👍Barry Ms nail polish "Butterflyfish" from their "Under the sea" collection has unfortunately now passed away, despite thinning agent😕 I've had it on my toes for several years and used up more than half - which isn't visible since the rest has thickened😄 👍Aimée de Mars perfume "Belle Aphrodite" - French, organic perfume that smells so lovely that my husband bought the full size for me☺️ So far, I have a couple of purchased samples to work through! The bottles have a spray function and last long despite being so small. NO - NOT FOR ME👎 👎Back to earths primer - completely missed that it was for oily skin. My skin almost squeaked from it😄 👎Foundation no. 1 from the same brand was the lightest but way too dark for me even in summer, otherwise nice. 👎NYX Epicwear eyeliner in "Periwinkle Pop" was super pretty (light lavender-pink with glitter) but dried out super fast. I managed to use it about 2 times😢 so massive waste💸 👎Artdecos lipliner "Shy Rose 186" that kept breaking or falling out😕 👎Aimée de Mars perfume "Sensuel Rubis" smells like something strong, not good aftershave😄 👎Bell Hypoallergenics nail polish was a lovely ice blue but probably the absolute worst nail polish I've ever tested! Runny, uneven, and after 5 layers on my toes looked like a failed kindergarten project😢 It will be so nice to finally throw these #empties away and rummage through the hoarder stash for a bit more new-old to continue with💄💅👁️😊 #empties MAKEUP

Just a liiitle late, here comes my #empties2024 for September🍂😊 Here are some of my FAVORITES that I often buy or will buy again🙂 The rest can be seen in the pictures! I've reviewed a lot, if it's available on Lyko: 🌟Omniblondes detox and silver shampoo! Super good, both, but unfortunately discontinued now on Lyko (why???)😤 🌟Benton Fermentation sheet mask that takes care of my dry, sensitive skin and any skin problems in a fantastic way🤝🏻 🌟Banila nourishing cleansing balm - very good cleansing for dry skin in balm form. Second and last jar for me, as the brand unfortunately is not Cruelty Free🙅‍♀️, so there will be no more purchases (found this in one of my skincare hiding spots😩, so I must have bought it before I knew Banila wasn't cf😢). I now have an unscented one from Paula's Choice that is great AND cf👍😄 🌟Mesoestetic Couperend cream - repairing cream that is perfect for skin that has or easily gets broken capillaries. 🌟Dr. Ceuracle Tea tree Purfine cleansing foam - super light foaming cleanser that I've sometimes had as a second cleanser. Worked well even though I don't like tea tree, which is often too strong for dry skin, but I've mostly had it in the summer when I sweat a lot on my face or in the shower when I couldn't be bothered to do double cleansing. 🌟Hyggee Vegan sun cream SPF 50 - perfect! 🌟Melvita Dentifice dents blanche - fresh, mild toothpaste with sea salt, baking soda, and calcium carbonate🦷 🌟Il Capitano Sensitive toothpaste - mild fluoride toothpaste that DOES NOT dry out the lips👍🏻 🌟Ren Skincare Brightening Dark circle eye cream - will be repurchased next summer😊 🌟NCLA Beauty Candy Cane Body Butter - thick and delicious body butter with a cooling peppermint scent, lovely in the summer😋 🌟Maria Åkerberg "Face Dream" - one of my favorite creams that also repairs and protects dry skin with broken capillaries. The big tube comes out when the real cold comes🙂 🌟Maria Åkerberg "Hand Cream" - super light hand cream that also repairs cracked eczema lips and is gentle all over the body including the face👍🏻 🌟Forever Living "Aloe lip" - very good lip balm. 😉OK, BUT MAYBE WON'T BUY AGAIN😉 😉NCLA Beauty "Hey Sugar" body scrub with peppermint scent. Not as good as the body butter but totally okay. 😉Essence eye masks that are sometimes good, sometimes so-so, and sometimes worthless. These from the "Love, luck and dragons" collection are so-so and a bit too dry. Neal's Yard Wild rose Shower oil suited me much better as a foot bath🛁🛁 than as a body wash😊 🤴SAMPLES THAT DETERRED FROM PURCHASE🤴 🤴Dermosil's perfume samples 4 pcs, where 2 attracted, one really deterred😤 and one nothing😁 (It was "Sparkling Grapefruit" that attracted - so light and fresh☀️). Dermosil's perfumes are water-based, so a bit gentler for those with sensitive noses and asthma👍🏻 🤴🛑Medik8 "Advanced night cream. Good thing it was a small sample😃 🤴🛑Laneige "Water bank blue hyaluronic cream moisturizer". Highly unimpressive👎 🤴🛑Laneige "Bouncy & Firm sleeping mask". Same there + very strong scent that my head didn't appreciate! Here are my #empties2024 for August! As usual, most of it has been reviewed by me of what can be bought at Lyko😊 🤩FAVORITES🌟🤩 Mentioning a few, the rest can be seen in the photo (and I’ve probably mentioned them before)! 🌟SNP Peptaronic sheet mask with different types of peptides and hyaluronic acids - superb for dry skin! 🌟Shangpree Gold Black Pearl eye mask must be the best eye mask in sheet mask form for puffy eyes! And the most expensive💸😫👋 🌟Korres gel mask with cucumber also reduces swelling well and at a much milder price🤱 🌟Pai Skincare Light Work Rosehip fruit extract cleansing oil is a luxurious organic really good, light cleansing oil with rosehip seed oil that has good anti-aging properties🌸👋 Got it in a box😋 Just a shame that Pai doesn’t seem to be sold in Sweden anymore😥 🌟Klairs deeply moisturizing and treatment gel cream/mask with vitamin E and niacinamide is so good even for us with dry, slightly sensitive skin that may not handle pure niacinamide so well😊 Very good for giving smaller and cleaner pores and reducing pigmentation👩‍🎤🏳️‍🌈 🌟Dr. Ceuracle Cica Regen Vegan Sun spf 50 contains among other things niacinamide but is a mild, non-waterproof sunscreen/face cream that my skin loved this summer! Very good if you sweat like I do in the face from the heat, as it also mattifies the skin😋 🌟Comfort Zone Sun Soul Face cream - wonderful unperfumed sunscreen WITHOUT niacinamide so I could use it on my neck and décolleté without problems (where niacinamide gives me eczema)😊 🌟Urtekram Body butter in the scent "Soft Wild Rose" from the series "Dare to dream" is an organic dreamy body cream with a mild, very nice rose-like scent. Very nice for dry skin! 🌟Schmidt's organic stick deodorant in the variant Charcoal & Magnesium is probably the best aluminum-free deodorant for us heavy sweaters😻 Mild, neutral scent👃🏽🏳️‍🌈 🌟Eco Cosmetics Lip Care - best organic cerate🌸 for dry lips! Contains among other things beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, green tea, and vitamin E. Faint honey scent🌍😊 🤔OK BUT PROBABLY WON'T BUY AGAIN🤔 🤔Dermosil's silver balm. Mild from Finnish, allergy-friendly Dermosil but liked the shampoo and the mask better! 🤔Apolosophys eye makeup remover - mild and ok when you don’t wear waterproof makeup😋 🤔Apoliva Sensitive serum - is like a light day cream with niacinamide. Was included in their advent calendar 2023, which was very reasonably priced🤱 🤔Purederm Black Solution eye masks are usually a good budget alternative🤱 to Shangpree's super expensive💸 but these went out in Dec-23 and were therefore heavily discounted. Unfortunately, more than half were half-dried and no longer effective (NOTE! Not bought at Lyko). Right for me😄 🤔Bondi Sands "Sunny Daze SPF 50" was too dark and dry for me but nice on neck and décolleté! 🤔Zoya goes pretty "Rosehip Face balm" is a lovely, fatty organic, vegan face cream with rosehip seed oil. Usually love it, but this batch smelled unusually much like manure😤😳🏳️‍🌈😅 which unrefined shea butter can do😢 🤔Selfie Project Energy Boosting Eco hydrogel eye pads were nice but nothing more. 🤔Sans Soucis Beauty Elixir 10% Niacinamide serum - sample that lasted for some grams. Quite ok for the face. 🚫NO - NOT FOR ME🚫 🚫Ida Warg "Intense Nutrition hand cream" gave ZERO nourishment but caused migraines and asthma due to the smell for my husband and me. Thanks once again to Malin/Malinadenfina who started #empties and #projectpan here on Lyko social a few years ago so that we beauty hoarders are encouraged to use what we already have before we buy new. Hey September 😍🍁(a few weeks late😆) but here comes an empties for August and actually a discount code for you, if you want to shop at Lyko (valid now until Friday the 13th) you get 20 percent off with the code: 174LYKO20 🤩 therefore this post should be seen as advertising for @lykosverige ☺️ but I get nothing if you use the code, so it doesn't matter to me, but it's a shame if I don't share it if any of you are thinking of shopping😎 maybe you'll find some suggestions from my empties since most of it can be bought there☺️ Now to the empties: ☀️Sunscreen: has been used for both face and body considering the heat😅☀️ Also finished an oil cleanser from Aco (fantastic for sensitive skin, removes waterproof, no irritation in the eyes and cheap! ) Korres gel cream is unfortunately empty😔 super nice moisturizing without causing breakouts or irritation 🤩 👁️Eye cream both from biovene, the one with vitamin c I think is really good while the one with hyaluronic acid belongs best in the trash 👎🤓 (review available on Lyko) A foundation from L'Oreal (trying to avoid that brand now that I know they aren't cf, but was very satisfied with it! Lucky I found an equally good one from Isadora ☺️👍) Hair balm spray for my daughter's hair and a balm for my hair from under your skin. I don't know what to think about that balm.. review will come later on Lyko 🤔🙌 Last but not least a body soap that we wash our hands with, smells lovely ☺️🙌😄 So nice to recycle a bit and make space in the cabinet again, love that feeling🤩🥰🙌 hugs🍁 #empties2024 #empties
