After reading the reviews for these products, I was really excited to try them, and I just have to say wow. What a wonderful series!! I am so glad that I, as a #lykoinflutester, got to try these products: ✨Ultimate Reset Shampoo ✨Ultimate Reset Conditioner ✨Ultimate Reset Mask The mask comes in a luxurious, but SMALL packaging. The product feels soft and lovely, but upon application, I find that it has a bit of trouble "sticking". My hair is thick, quite long, a bit damaged from bleaching, and on the dry side, so it needs a lot of moisture! And moisture, I felt it provided! Together with the shampoo and conditioner in the same series, it makes the hair really soft and smooth. The only negative thing I have to say about the product is that it doesn't do anything miraculous for my hair. It is really good, don't get me wrong, but for that price, I would have expected something revolutionary. I have used shampoo and conditioner without the mask, and I don't know if I notice a super big difference when I have used the mask, to be honest. The hair might be a bit softer with the mask. The scent smells GOOD. I can't pinpoint exactly what, but good and just the right amount of scent, which lasts until the next day without being too overpowering. As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try three products from #shuuemura that are supposed to have repairing effects on the hair. A bit about my hair: 👩🦰 damaged 👩🦰 fine hair strands 👩🦰 bleached 👩🦰 I currently have hair extensions in, but otherwise it’s shoulder-length before my hair decides to fall out 😱 I liked the whole collection, especially the hair mask (minus the price) The same goes for the conditioner! The scent is fresh, my hair feels soft and shiny after the shower, and not just for a day but for a long time ❤️ However, I think the price brings down the rating for the conditioner as well; it’s expensive, but the whole collection gives a very nice result 👌🏻 so if you have the money, I absolutely think it’s worth trying if you have damaged hair and maybe dye it often. The pump on the bottle is quite slow, I think, but nothing that’s too disturbing, the design is just incredible, especially the color of the bottles! It feels very high-end. The product itself feels concentrated; you don’t need much product to get results, my hair extensions also seem to "look good" with this set, feeling soft, shiny, and fresh for a long time. It’s worse with the scalp; I find that I get a bit oilier faster than with other products. Untangle an impossible knot!
I promised to share when my cousin's hair went bananas for some reason 😱 we had been out in the city all day with jackets on and hair down, must have been something simple. Anyway, we get home and I start brushing her hair but realize it’s just going to be really damaging, so I put in the hair mask from #shuuemura and let it sit in dry hair for a long time, then she washed it out (picture two) and in the end, we got the knot completely out! I got to test this luxurious shampoo with #LYKOINFLUTESTER from #SHUUEMURA. I have never tried anything from that brand before, but I have heard a lot about it, so it was a really fun kit to test! My hair is bleached, relatively thick, and dry. I have fine "thin" strands, but many. So I can experience that products meant to provide a lot of moisture can weigh my hair down, but I don't feel that this did. So nice! I find the shampoo very economical as it has a quite thick consistency. You need relatively little to get a big lather in the hair that cleans deeply. I always double shampoo, and I still have quite a bit of product left despite washing every 3 days for about 1 month. There is a pearlescent shimmer in the shampoo, which I think adds a bit of shine! It has a scent that I find super lovely. Nothing overpowering, but feels luxurious.✨ I think the shampoo cleans my hair well and does what I want a shampoo to do. However, I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the hair mask. It’s not particularly good as I notice no difference whether I used it or just the conditioner and shampoo. However, it does add shine and moisturizes my hair when I’ve tested it with other products! Is it 200ml of pure magic that I got to test? I don't know, but wow is all I can say! Before I dive into the review (and why it doesn't get a full score), I want to share a bit about my hair: 🤦♀️ dry 🤦♀️ thin hair strands that easily break 🤦♀️ bleached, really bleached sometimes 🤦♀️ currently have hair extensions but otherwise shoulder-length until my hair decides to break off or something What I, as a #lykoinflutester, received seems to be pure magic from the Japanese brand #shuuemura 💌 it is supposed to be (and is) an extremely repairing hair mask that is perfect for us with bleached and damaged hair. In my review of the shampoo, I wrote that repairing effects are hard to judge after a short testing period, but this, my friends, does something entirely! Or maybe it does everything? Anyway, shu uemura uses rice extract and is said to have protective properties. The mask is supposed to repair basically in one go and leave shine in the hair. I will in a look (over the weekend) show you how my cousin's huge tattoo disappears after using the mask, you have no idea until you see it! 😱 Back to what the product has done for my hair: the mask has made it really easy for me to brush through my extensions, leaves a nice shine (I have also tested the mask with other shampoos and conditioners to see if it still gives a nice effect, and it does). I also feel that my real hair blends better with the extensions, gets just as nice shine, and doesn't feel thin in the same way. I will soon take out my extensions and rest before switching, it will be exciting to see how it looks then! 🤩 The design is, in my opinion, full score, and it's easy to open the lid, though I can imagine a lighter packaging for people who might have a harder time opening such types of packaging, it can get slippery in the shower, and it’s important to have a grip sometimes. The scent is fresh and not floral, which I like, I have such a hard time with strong rosy scents 🤪 Why you might be thinking now, why doesn't Louise give all the stars? The answer is the price, the full price is sniffing around the 1000 mark, and that's expensive, will I buy it again? Most likely 🤠 but it is expensive. As a #lykoinflutester, I have once again had the chance to test hair products (the last test I got was that too!) This time from the lovely brand #shuuemura, a brand that I got to test as an influtester a couple of years ago (but from a completely different line). Before I dive into my review, I want to first tell a bit about my hair! 🧑🦰 dry 🧑🦰 fine hair strands 🧑🦰 bleached 🧑🦰 Currently have hair extensions in, but otherwise shoulder-length, which is the max length before it breaks off 🧑🦰 requires moisture 🧑🦰 has a slightly oily scalp Okay, so what do I think of the shampoo? First of all: it sparkles so beautifully, but it’s not glitter glitter that sticks to your hands or anything (some serums and oils for hair and other things have glitter glitter in them) ✨ it feels very high-end, at least! So what then? Well, I feel that the shampoo cleanses the hair, doesn’t weigh it down or make my scalp dry, however, I do feel that I have to wash it liiite more often now, meaning my scalp is producing more oil (or that it penetrates faster). I have a hard time finding a perfect shampoo for my hair, and unfortunately, this one isn’t perfect; if I buy a shampoo for over 500:-, it really should meet all my needs on every level. Which it doesn’t quite do. Magic in a Jar
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this hair mask from #shuuemura 💖 I have long, naturally blonde hair that I highlight 2-3 times a year, mainly in the winter. It’s dry and frizzy, but I have a relatively oily scalp and usually wash my hair at least every other day. Before testing, I had washed my hair with a cheaper shampoo and conditioner and hadn’t used any form of aftercare product for my hair, which I always do to reduce frizz and care/protect (hence the troll look in the before picture 🙈 but I’m okay with that) to get as measurable an effect as possible during the testing. This hair mask comes in a sleek, stylish jar with a screw lid. The lid is easy to open, but then there’s the issue when you’ve scooped out the mask with one hand and are trying to close it with just one hand: mission impossible 😅 which is the only negative about this product (actually just its packaging…). It’s rich in consistency and a little goes a long way! Easy to work into the hair. I always have a clip in the shower that I use to put my hair up while the mask works, so I do a little scrubbing, shaving, or other things during the processing time. Smells really good, rich dark with a hint of sweetness, though I find it a bit milder in scent than the shampoo and conditioner in the line, it smells the same but less intense. So it might suit those who are a bit sensitive to scents, I think. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the product, and it will definitely be a repurchase! It’s very concentrated and easy to distribute. My scalp has become oily just as quickly as with my regular shampoos, I would say, definitely not oilier at all. I got to test this series from #SHUUEMURA thanks to #lykoinflutester. I want to start by saying that my blonde hair is incredibly dry right now and quite lifeless. It easily becomes very frizzy and flyaway. The scent of this series feels like an exclusive perfume. Absolutely fantastic! Notes of citrus, jasmine, and sandalwood. The scent really lingers for a long time, and you find yourself going to smell your hair throughout the day! Good formula and incredibly economical! So you’ll get far with a little product! I think the design feels a bit luxurious with the nice green and simplicity. But opening a jar in the shower isn’t the best, but it definitely feels a bit more exclusive than having a tube. It’s expensive, but damn is it good. It’s definitely the best I’ve ever tried! The hair becomes soft, stronger, and more manageable and gives shine. It delivers on its promises 100%! Therefore, I’m not really sure if I can complain about the price. But it’s not something I can have at home all the time.
