My little brother is 17, plays soccer, and really doesn’t have the time or desire for a bunch of steps in a skincare routine 😂 He mainly had problems with pimples and small bumps on his forehead and jawline, while his skin was often red and irritated. My morning routine for glow from the inside & out! Damaged skin barrier, sensitive skin
Here is my current facial skincare after a period of having a damaged skin barrier. I am careful to support the skin both from the inside & out, so at breakfast I take two supplements that I think are absolutely phenomenal: Skin Restoring Ceramides from Life Extension & Purely-E, which is a completely natural mix of broad-spectrum E vitamins. I order these from IHerb! Right now my skin needs maximum protection against weather & wind, so I apply about a pea-sized amount of Eucerin Urea Repair. This is actually a hand cream, but since it’s the carbamide (urea) that I’m after as an active ingredient and the hand cream forms a bit more of a protective layer on the skin, I think it works super well and is budget-friendly! Next, I apply a bit of Purito’s Luminous Ceramide Moisturizer if I feel it’s needed. This way, I’ve gotten ceramides both through supplements & cream to really give the skin enough building blocks for repair. I finish with a favorite in my makeup bag for many years, namely Heliocare Color Gelcream Brown SPF 50! The texture of this is quite thick and it can be a bit tricky to apply, but it’s one of the few tinted creams I think gives enough color since I choose not to actively sun my face at all.
