Erborian CC Cream in "Clair" 🧴🌹
In a test pilot package from Lyko, I received a small sample of this CC cream in Clair from Erborian ♥️. Too little amount to determine long-term effect, but I still have to say that I’m impressed by the first impression! At first, it looks white-gray, but becomes skin-toned when I blend it out and fits perfectly with my neutral pale skin tone. Doesn’t cover everything I want (scars/acne), but it’s only supposed to have light coverage. Still, I think the overall skin tone evens out nicely and I like the feeling it gives! 🤍 A slightly thicker/slower consistency that feels smoothing on the skin surface. The skin feels smooth and I find that less makeup is needed on top and it sets more evenly/better. Also contains moisture + my favorite ingredient centella. Natural finish (though I don’t think it’s glowy). Doesn’t ball up with my skincare or makeup. 🧴 Actually a product I could consider buying and using as a primer or no-makeup-makeup days. Barely any scent, I don’t notice any strong or sharp smell, more of a “skin-close” scent that is a bit creamy and powdery. 🧴 A nice and economical CC cream – my 1.5 ml sample lasted three times! Picked up a package from Scandinavian Cosmetics x ARTDECO yesterday 🖤 Won a contest here on Lyko where you could choose a product from their new bronzing collection. Went for “Wonder Blush & Glow” which I just heard good things about from Anna 😍✨ The color is called “4 Coral” but it’s not a bright coral. More of a muted brown-pink with some coral/warmth. Kind of like a blonzer 🤎💗🧡 Very fine shimmer that sparkles when you shine a light on it ✨ Gel-serum-like texture with sheer coverage, just a light tint. Tested the French new Lumi Bronze for about a week in my makeup routine, with and without setting spray. COLOR: “Toasted Sunlight” looks warm and bronzy on my light neutral skin. Not orange, but leaning golden. “Sunset Doré” seems to be more neutral, and I probably would have preferred that one 🤎 USAGE: Well pigmented, but easy to blend out. I prefer to apply on the back of my hand and pick up a bit with a makeup brush for liquid products. 🌞 The texture is soft, thin, and glides easily – not thick/heavy/sticky at all like some waxy makeup sticks can feel. Dries to a slightly powdery finish with subtle glow when light hits the skin (not glittery). ✨ SCENT: Reminds me of bubblegum and is, in my opinion, totally fine – a bit sweet rather than sharp or pungent. 🍬 Stayed well all day, no need to reapply. Minus for containing paraffin, which I personally want to avoid for environmental reasons. L’Oréal Paris – Volume Million Lashes Panorama Chromatic Mascara Brun Leather x Smartson ✨
LOOK: The packaging gets 10/10, feels exclusive! The color “Brun Leather” is unique and surprising. Not only is it a nice chocolate brown, it also has small shimmer particles of reddish brown/copper that show a bit when the light hits the lashes 👁️🍫✨ I have somewhat shorter and straight lashes without a lash curler. Therefore, I have used a lash curler. USAGE: The brush is medium-sized and flexible. The bristles are quite close together. The formula is creamy thick, but absolutely not dry (tested daily for about 1 week). I get more volume and fullness to the lashes than length. Separates okay when zigzagging. I don’t experience clumps, but it’s a bit harder to get the right amount on the very smallest lashes. DURABILITY: Very good durability, lasts all day! Zero flakes. I get oily around the eyes easily, but experience very little smudging with this. Also washes off easily with warm water 🚿 A very good mascara that I will probably buy! L’Oréal Paris – Magic CC Cream Anti-Redness x Smartson 🪄
Magic in a tube? Unfortunately not for me 💯. I love this type of tube with a narrow tip – easy and nice to apply. What stands out about the product for me is the green color, which melts on the skin and is supposed to transform into "your own skin tone" 🧟♀️🪄. However, I was disappointed by this step! I am very pale and neutral – no matter how much I work the product in, the shade still ends up a bit too dark/orange and not quite my own skin tone. 😩 If you are as pale as I am, my tip is to test it in-store before buying! But if you have a bit of color in your skin tone, it probably suits you better 💛 SCENT: Sharp and somewhat generic perfume scent (would have preferred unscented). The texture is thin and smooth, easy to work with and not greasy. Dries quickly to a powdery soft-focus finish. Redness is toned down, but it doesn’t cover my purple/brown acne scars as well. Since the shade is too dark/orange for me, I need my usual CC Cream on top – making this an unnecessary step.
