This is definitely the SPF I will reach for the most this summer. The spray is so easy to apply and distribute, and you also get a nice glow! ✨ Since it has "only" SPF 30, I definitely need to reapply it more often when I'm in the blazing sun for longer periods. But you should do that anyway to ensure protection. But it would also be great if it came in SPF 50. That's why it gets one star less. What I absolutely must mention is the incredibly lovely scent. I have tested this tinting SPF from #beautyofjoseon and it is truly a hybrid between skincare and makeup! Before I dive into what I think, I want to share a bit about my skin: 🌸 dry to normal 🌸 freckles 🌸 a few wrinkles 🌸 the occasional pimple 🌸 red areas around the nose and sometimes cheeks/forehead I can start by saying that I haven't used this solely as SPF, but I always apply a pure SPF 50 underneath, because otherwise I have to use a lot of product to get enough protection. I love that it lets my freckles show without making them gray (those of you with freckles know how hard it can be to find a base that doesn't make freckles look dull). That's a really big plus for me. It is incredibly runny, so be careful when applying it, otherwise it can end up cream everywhere, haha. I love thin foundations that don't feel like a warm blanket in the summer, which this one doesn't do. However, it takes a long time to work it into the skin, it feels like it easily lays down as a thin, thin film first, which makes the result streaky. I prefer to use my hands first and massage it into the skin, then I go over with a sponge for the best result. Brush does not give a good result for me at all. I chose to test the color MP200, which is supposed to have a relatively cool undertone, at first I didn't think it had a cool undertone at all, but now I've changed my mind, it is relatively cool and still dark so it fits me perfectly in the summer and when I self-tan! It is buildable but take a little at a time if you want more coverage, because as I said, it needs to be worked in for a long time, I think. I've thrown this on almost every day since I got it and it doesn't irritate my skin, just a reminder to have another SPF underneath that is pure, I think it's important if you really want to protect yourself from the sun. I absolutely think it gives nice coverage without me looking made up, it also gives a nice glow, smells like nothing special and feels light on the skin! And gotten lots of dark pigmentation on my upper lip and cheeks. 🌞Well, not anymore! This is how I cracked the code: 🧴OLIKA SPF for different areas. One fits all doesn't actually work all the time. If you want to slather your regular SPF on your hairline, be my guest, but your hair will definitely get greasy, 100%. Avoiding burning the part and greasy hair is possible, thanks coola for that 🙏🏼 On my face, I use thin, moisturizing SPF, often Korean, and it has worked for my skin. For the body, it's nice if my daughter and I can use the same gentle sunscreen! 💦Hypochlorous acid Works for just about everything. Neutralizes exposed skin and soothes everything from sunburn to insect bites! 👱🏽♀️Do you protect your hair as much as your skin? I do. The sun dries out and makes hair brittle. UV protection and repairing masks are not something I skimp on! Cap, updo, scarf, etc. are of course also on! 🫧And of course shampoo & mask that protect against hard water. Here are some SPF favorites I'm using right now Biotherm - Waterlover hydrating sun milk. Incredibly easy to apply, smells great! Filorga - UV cellular protect I love this! I've used I don't know how many packs! Protects incredibly well, mild scent, gives a magical type glow, doesn't get sticky. Worth every penny! This is the previous packaging! Filorga - UV bronze spray. Unclear if this has been discontinued. Also this one in their previous design. I LOVE this! I really hope it comes in a new look and that it hasn't been discontinued, does anyone know? Morrocanoil - All in one leave in conditioner Talked about this in a previous video. Such a good multi-spray that also has UV protection for the hair! Hello Sunday - Mineral eye cream Brightening and protective! It's quite thick in consistency and gets pretty light so you have to work it in a bit but protects incredibly well and kind of perks up a bit under the eye! Hello Sunday - Hand cream I usually have this in my bag and one in the car. Don't forget your hands when you're out in the sun! Even you who drive, make sure to apply on your hands. This one doesn't get sticky at all! I wish it came in a larger packaging Hawaiian Tropic - After sun body butter Oh this smells so good and soothes the skin. Rehydrates like crazy! Can feel a bit thick in consistency but make sure to take a small amount at a time and work it into your hands before applying to your body! Mixed Impression
I've been testing it for a while now. It's thin in consistency, easy to apply, and a SPF that doesn't show or clog my skin. This works on my eczema and doesn't sting my eyes. This SPF gives me a mixed impression. One day it works great, and the next not at all the same. Under makeup, it gives mixed results, hence the rating. Under my makeup, it can look nice all day until the next day when it gets cakey after half a day. I've long wanted to try this, and now that I've done it, it's a sunscreen that's here to stay! It has a light consistency that sinks in quickly and leaves a light glow ✨ A good packaging so that the right amount comes out, and I also think the packaging is aesthetically pleasing. Putting on makeup after applying the sunscreen is no problem, and I don't find that the makeup rolls. It also holds up well throughout the day! Doesn't clog, and I don't think new blemishes arise with the use of this. I also find that I can skip my day cream and just use this in my routine. Amazing! I have finally found an SPF that doesn’t feel like anything on the skin. I have dry combination skin that is starting to show signs of aging (40 years old), so protection has become even more important. #cosrx sunscreen hydrates without being sticky, greasy, or anything you would even notice on the skin, except for the moisture🤩. It also doesn’t leave any visual white cast like some can. It doesn’t really smell like anything, maybe lightly of cream if anything. When applying it to the skin, I notice a light cooling sensation that feels really nice. Since the end of last year, I have almost used up a whole bottle, which makes me think it’s still quite economical. #Spf needs to be applied in reasonable amounts to achieve protection. And a new package is already waiting on the shelf😆 it’s so good that I had to stock up🐹.
