I wanted to try a new mascara, the choice fell on this one from Clarins 👌🏼 So surprised by how the result turned out, as I usually use silicone/rubber mascara brushes. Very positively surprised 🤩 I have natural eyelashes, but here the mascara did a lot right 👌🏼 Doesn't flake, doesn't smudge, and the lashes hold all day. I have been testing this product for a while now, and I am unfortunately not impressed. Especially due to one factor, read below «➖». I have used it on wet hair, and on dry hair. Both day and night. ➕ Smells good ➕ Good consistency ➕ Not sticky ➕ Easy to distribute in the hair ➕ A small amount goes a long way ➖ Notice little to no difference in the hair. If anything, the ends and lengths feel drier than before. ➖ Does not reduce frizz ➖ WARNING‼️🔆 On the back of the bottle and the box the serum comes in, there is a clear warning that is not mentioned in the description of the serum. You must avoid sun exposure due to a high risk of sunburn, up to ONE WEEK (!!) after application. I found this to be nothing less than frightening. Enough for me not to want to use this product further. It is also strange that this is not mentioned when the product is presented. I have not experienced such a warning on previous hair products. And for someone who has a sensitive scalp regarding sunburn from the past, this product is not something I dare to use further. Fine enough now in winter when there is almost no sun, but still… ➖ The product is pricey for such a small bottle that promises a lot, without results. A challenger to Garnier..?
I was lucky to get to test this micellar water! I was a bit skeptical about what to expect, as I have tried my share of micellar waters and makeup removers. The product has little to no scent. That's not a problem for me, as long as the product does what it's supposed to. The bottle is solid and has a sleek appearance. It's important to screw the top back on properly after removing the seal, I noticed it leaked a bit. It hasn't happened again after tightening 👌🏼 I wanted to test how it removed mascara first. It absolutely did, easily too, but with accompanying stinging and discomfort in my eyes afterward. Maybe I'm sensitive, but I don't experience that with Garnier. The big plus for me is that it removes skin makeup so effectively and well!!👌🏼☺️ Leaves no residue, and the skin doesn't feel oily or dry. I have rosy cheeks, but this seems to tone that down, that's my impression. Haven't reacted negatively yet, neither acne nor irritation 💫 Here Garnier has a strong competitor! The only downside is that this is more expensive. I have just run out of my first one of this, and it has been top-notch 👌🏼 If you do as Anniken describes, I find that it does what it’s supposed to. No white brows, just press or swipe over the brows after application.
