Matte? yes absolutely🫡
The packaging is simple, cute color combo of blue and yellow. Like the applicator – feels like I have control over how much I take out. Curious how it will be towards the end when there’s little product left. But most of all I really LOVED how the matte version has a matte packaging while the glow has a glowing packaging. I like when it’s obvious that there’s thought behind the product design🙌🏼 Otherwise, they look exactly the same! Tried both the glow and matte versions. Matte has a texture that reminds me a bit of a primer (see picture). It makes the skin matte. Feels moisturizing even though it gives a more matte appearance. I have combination skin (normal with oily T-zone) and sensitive skin. Got no bad reaction on the skin so happy about that. Combined with Urban Decay matte setting spray, the skin stays very matte. BUT gave me dry patches around the nose and chin😭 But it should be said with regular setting spray – it worked a bit better, but still not as desired. Also tried and combined different combos to find the best. Still unsure which combo I think worked best so I have to keep testing a bit. But definitely a trial and error before you find what works best for your skin. I will continue to test different combinations with setting spray, maybe with another serum etc. to still be able to use the product. Many pluses. But unfortunately no new favorite. In short: + does its job (gives a matte result) + thought behind the design (matte packaging for matte product, applicator) - got dry around nose and chin when used in combination with matte setting spray #lykoinflutester #erborian1 product in post Matte? yes absolutely🫡24 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Gives a glow yes!!✨✨
Have tried both the glow and matte versions. The packaging is simple, cute color combo of blue and yellow. Like the applicator – feel like I have control over how much I take out. Curious how it will be towards the end when there’s little product left. But most of all I really liked how the glow version has a shiny packaging while the matte has a matte packaging. Like when it’s obvious that there’s thought behind the product design🙌🏼 Otherwise, they look exactly the same! Glow has a creamy consistency – white color (see picture). Gives incredible glow and very hydrating. Perfect for those who want glow in their skin! I also imagine this suits those with slightly drier skin. I, however, have combination skin (normal with oily T-zone) and sensitive skin. No bad reaction from this, so happy about that. Always a little stress factor when trying new products with sensitive skin. But the glow cream combined with the serum I could notice on makeup-free days that when I touched my face it could bead off the skin😭, but with makeup I’m much better at not touching my face. Have noticed this happens with many serums and creams together, even from the same brand. So not a first-time experience. I will continue to test different combinations with setting spray, maybe with another serum? to still be able to use the product. Many pluses. But unfortunately no new favorite. Short summary: + does its job (gives glow and hydration) + packaging gives glow and has glow that expresses what it does🙌🏼 the matte version is matte. Big plus in my eyes! Plus I liked the applicator + gentle on my sensitive skin - T-zone, especially the chin, gets oily easily throughout the day on me #lykoinflutester #erborian1 product in post Gives a glow yes!!✨✨11 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Moisturizing💧🚰 🩵
First impression was the scent – it smells clean and reminds me a bit of sunscreen? Gel consistency, a bit thicker than others I've tried (Vichy Mineral 89 Booster Serum). Absorbs quickly. Feels hydrating without feeling heavy. 10/10 feeling. The packaging is simple. I like that it’s transparent so you can easily see how much is left🙌🏼 Doesn’t feel very luxurious in the packaging and seems to be plastic, but that’s a plus when traveling for weight since it’s light. After trying it for about a week, I haven’t noticed any special change in my skin. I have combination skin (normal with oily T-zone) and sensitive skin. No bad reaction on the skin, so happy about that. In combination with the glow cream, I could feel on makeup-free days that when I touched my face, it would bead off the skin😭, but with makeup I’m much better at not touching my face. I’ve noticed this happens with many serums and creams together, even from the same brand. Not a first-time experience. It did its job, but I feel there are other similar products I prefer (e.g. Vichy Mineral 89 Booster Serum – lighter consistency), so it won’t be added to the shopping list but will definitely be used up😊 In short: + did its job (moisturizing) + fresh scent (smells clean, a bit like sunscreen?) +/- nice packaging but not impressed (seems to be plastic, light and transparent so easy to see how much is left when using) - didn’t work well combined with creams from the same brand #lykoinflutester #erborian1 product in post Moisturizing💧🚰 🩵12 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. For an INSANE glow🤩
Struggled with uploading pictures and video, will hopefully try to get it done:-)))) I rarely use highlighter, but when I do, it’s incredibly important to me that it: 1. Gives a nice and almost natural glow 2. Has the smallest glitter particles possible This one hits the latter. But compared to, for example, Make up store’s, it gives noticeably more glitter and a more obvious glow than a natural glow. But still not too "glittery" to fall into that category. I went for the color "space cowboy," which I have to say first of all – what a name! haha. Secondly, I’m glad it didn’t turn out too dark, which I feared. Previously, I’ve only used highlighters that are almost white in color (e.g., from Make up store and The balm). But it worked out fine! The packaging has a super interesting nozzle that caught my attention. It was really fun to see how the product came out from being empty to the highlighter slowly appearing. The design might look a bit cheap and not super exclusive. But the product is truly quality. Even though I liked the nozzle, I think the lid could have had an easy screw function. Especially for people with weak grip and strength. Ideally, I want all my products in my makeup bag to be easy to open. The yellow combined with the dark glitter color isn’t very aesthetically pleasing to me… But as I said, quality in the product🙌🏼 Unfortunately, my skin has flared up a bit with pimples and texture, which this "highlighter" unfortunately emphasizes, so it becomes more noticeable. But regardless of makeup, it will sit better on nice skin. I will probably only use this when my skin is clear again and on special occasions when I want ✨that little extra✨ In short: + Does its job (gives a nice glow) +/- Decent packaging but maybe change the color and function of the lid? - Gives an intense glow, but personally, I prefer a more natural and less intense one - Highlights the texture of my skin (but again, something all highlighters naturally do) #lykoinflutester #urbandecay1 product in post For an INSANE glow🤩38 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. New favorite🥰
First, I just want to start by saying that I am a regular user of Urban Decay’s original setting spray. So it was really fun to get the chance to test this one and compare. The packaging is pink-orange (coral?) with a dark (but transparent) cap. Otherwise, it’s exactly like the original – same shape, spray function, and design. The spray function works fine. Unfortunately, I often (but not always) feel like the first spray can come out in drops rather than mist. I always spray once into the air before using it on my face to be sure. The packaging is very cute and summery. Unfortunately, it feels a bit cheap and not luxurious, which I don’t think matches the price. But the quality does! Which is the most important thing about the product😌 It holds makeup incredibly well, it doesn’t smudge. With the original, some days I feel like I HAVE to touch up my makeup a bit during the day, either by dabbing a tissue in the T-zone or with a bit of powder. But with this matte version, I don’t have to🙌🏼 Yes, I get a glow, but I don’t look insanely sweaty and the makeup doesn’t separate, so I don’t feel pressured to HAVE to touch it up. It should be mentioned that I don’t overdo the powder because I want my skin to look as natural as possible. I haven’t tested this with a full matte look from the start. PS. I’ve added pictures and video where you can see right after I put on makeup to several hours later where I’ve done a lot and haven’t touched up my makeup at all. My skin has unfortunately flared up a bit with pimples and texture, so the makeup doesn’t sit as nicely as usual, sorry about that. Also looks a bit orange since I haven’t used self-tanner hehe Finally, I just want to say that I will definitely continue to use this, I even think I prefer it over the original. Looking forward to seeing how this handles warmer weather, sunscreen, and real sweat😊 In short: + of all the setting sprays I’ve tried, this one is at the top of the list! + does its job (holds makeup nicely, and stays matte for many hours) + cute design (especially the color) + makeup doesn’t separate + doesn’t transfer onto clothes +/- if you want to stay 100% completely matte, I’m unsure if it holds - could look more exclusive to match the price - wish there was more “mist” in the spray function from the first spray #lykoinflutester #urbandecay1 product in post New favorite🥰244 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. New favorite in my bag😌💗✨
Why is this a new favorite in my bag? Well, because… 1. It smells good – not too sweet and NOT mint – something lip oils often do that I dislike😌 2. Gives INCREDIBLE shine without feeling sticky💗 3. The lip oil not only gives shine but also provides moisture 4. Easy to apply and you don’t need much to achieve results✨ 5. Works well with my lip liners, like comes naturally from Kylie Cosmetics (I miss the color on the applicator). Also works well with Nyx lip stains (which don’t transfer, I’ll write a separate review on these) 🤝🏼 The only thing to watch out for with the product is that when I open it, I twist it out gently because if you pull it out quickly, a clump of lip oil can fly off. The applicator is also very large, but I don’t feel it ruins anything, though I might prefer it in a slightly smaller size. Maybe also better packaging? But despite this, it’s my favorite lip oil😌 Will definitely buy again when it’s empty. #lykoreview1 product in post New favorite in my bag😌💗✨173 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Honey lover😋💛
First of all, I just have to say that this is SPOT ON for someone who loves the scent of honey! The first impression was the sweet, nice box the product came in, sweet yellow color and the «melted-wax-mark» with a bee on it. When I took the bottle out, I was a bit underwhelmed. It was very simple, no signs that it would smell like honey. I missed the sweet «melted-wax-mark-with-bee-on». But this became clear when I opened the bottle. The bottle has a lovely pipette and for those who know me well, that’s something I’m a big fan of, feels so luxurious! I have thin Nordic hair that is lightly bleached/dyed. This hair oil is light in consistency but gives a bit of weight in the hair. Regardless of the amount used. Maybe better for thicker hair? The first time I used too much in my hair so it looked wet. Therefore, it’s worth noting that a little goes a long way on thin hair haha. I should also mention that I have only used it on dry hair, I will try it on wet to see if it can help/be a better method. It absolutely gives shine, but doesn’t overcome the intense honey scent. I like honey, but for hair, that’s probably not the scent I would choose myself. But as I said at the beginning - if you love the scent of honey, this will be to your liking! In short: nice packaging, with pipette!! gives shine /- intense scent of honey (taste and preference) - weighing effect, hard to find a way to use little to avoid weight but also enough to get clear shine. Maybe better for thicker hair? Does its job, but not my new favorite. It’s been some busy days so I haven’t had time to take before and after pictures, I’ll see if I can do that in a few days. In the meantime, you can check out others’ posts😌 #lykoinflutester #hairsyrup1 product in post Honey lover😋💛185 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Works mountain🐳
Oh there is so much good to say about this! It removes makeup and leaves the skin with a fresh feeling and glow. I have incredibly sensitive skin and was recommended this through the skin analysis I took via Lyko🙌🏼 This suited my skin really well! So the analysis hit the mark. I've used Garnier's micellar water (pink/original) for many many years but this is a good competitor! The only downside is that I have incredibly sensitive eyes where I feel Garnier's works better. For the eyes, there are some cleansing waters that I've had to use Garnier's on the eyes and this one on the skin. Some dry my skin out and I have to stop using them immediately. But aside from the eyes, I think this has worked better on my skin. I've also used other products that have helped and suit my skin better, so it's hard to say if it's because of this or those or a possible combination. But I have a bottle from Garnier lying around that I will use and see if I notice any difference. I conclude that they are very similar and have their own positives/negatives that make me likely to alternate between the two going forward, or combine them - the other on the eyes, this one on the skin otherwise😌 In short: 2B Suitable for sensitive and combination skin 2B Does its job (removes makeup) 2B Contains hyaluronic acid 2B Does NOT dry out the skin and gives a glow - I have very sensitive eyes so I notice this can irritate a bit sometimes. BUT this happens with other types as well, and many types I absolutely cannot use, especially on the eyes. From experience, this has happened least with Garnier's, and that's why it's the one I often go back to. #lykoreview1 product in post Works mountain🐳423 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Incredible product! But such a shame…
This has truly become a favorite in my skincare routine. I have combination sensitive skin that sometimes gets breakouts. This has a place in my evening routine, and I have really seen a change since I started using it. My skin has fewer lines, and breakouts occur rarely; if they do, they are only tiny. I haven't had any major painful ones since. The product is in oil form, which I was a bit afraid of since I’ve never had good experiences with it before. But I think it has a lot to do with it being light and absorbing well. The scent is a bit strong, but it disappears quickly after applying the product. I also love that it comes with a dropper; it feels a bit luxurious. This has definitely become a new favorite! I’ve already bought another bottle! So it’s such a shame it’s being discontinued… I would have stocked up, but unfortunately, it’s in the most expensive price range, but understandable given the quality. If anyone has similar recommendations, I’d love to hear them🥰 #lykoreview1 product in post Incredible product!
