🤎 A glowing bronzer 🤎
I have been assigned as a #lykoinflutester to test this Sunset Sheen Melange Bronzer from #estellethild in the color Terra! 🤎 When I first got the product, I was a bit skeptical because I usually don’t use bronzers, as they often look very orange on me, and in the packaging this one looked very warm and dark in shade. But I was positively surprised! 🥰 This bronzer actually didn’t look too warm and orange on my skin, and the color wasn’t that intense! It gives a natural, warm shadow with a nice glowing glitter. It’s like a bronzer and highlighter in one! ✨ I also like the formula this bronzer has! It’s smooth and very easy to work with. The formula is also buildable, and you can apply more or less product depending on the intensity you want for your bronzer! It also works to use on the eyelids as eyeshadow! The only negative about this is that it might be a bit too glittery if you, for example, like to have bronzer all over your face (like contour), then it’s better to use a slightly more matte bronzer. But I personally prefer to only have bronzer on my cheeks, and then this bronzer is perfect! It’s also positive that the packaging is made of paper instead of plastic! Very disappointed
I was assigned as a #lykoinflutester to test this Gilded Gaze Eye Palette Soft Neutrals from #estellethild! 🤍 I was very happy when I heard I would get to test this eyeshadow palette because eyeshadow is my favorite part when I do my makeup! But unfortunately, I was very quickly disappointed by this palette. I immediately noticed when I tested the colors on my hand that the formula was very crumbly. I also noticed this later when I applied the eyeshadow on my eyelid. I used my favorite brushes and favorite eyeshadow primer that I always use, but still, there was an incredible amount of pigment fallout under my eye (I attached a picture of this)! I also experienced that the eyeshadows had quite poor pigmentation. You really had to pack on a lot of eyeshadow to get it to show somewhat well. The shade with the best pigment is the lightest one, but I suspect that’s because it has a matte finish, while the other shadows are shimmery. That’s why I wished more of the shadows had a matte finish instead, especially the two darkest shades. The eyeshadows were also very difficult to both blend out and blend with each other. When I tried to blend them out, they instead became patchy and the pigments disappeared. This is another reason why I wished more of the shadows were matte, since shimmery shades are much harder to blend out. Unfortunately, this palette was very difficult to use, and it was very hard to get the eyeshadows to look nice and even on the eyelid. Otherwise, I think the colors and shades were very nice. It’s a palette with neutral base colors. The colors would work for both natural makeup looks and a bit more festive, smokey eyes. But unfortunately, the eyeshadow formula doesn’t work for this. But one positive thing is that the packaging is very good. It’s made of paper instead of plastic, which is a plus! 🩷 A soft and good bronzer brush! 🩷
I have been assigned as a #lykoinflutester to test this Feather Bronzer Brush from #estellethild! 🩷 My first impression when I opened the package and saw the brush was that it looks very luxurious and nice. It weighs a bit more than my other brushes and feels solid, and it feels like it is of good quality! The brush head has many fine & dense bristles, but at the same time very soft. The brush picks up product very well and applies it nicely on the skin! I also like the size of the brush head. It is just the right size and gives precision when applying the bronzer so it doesn’t end up all over the face. Completely okay, but not noticeably thinner than the original
I have been assigned as #lykoinflutester to test these Mighty Patch Invisible+ from #hero 💙 My first impression of these patches was how easy they are to use! They come off the sheet easily and don’t fold or wrinkle when you apply them. They also stick well to the skin and don’t fall off. I have applied them in the evening after cleansing my face and let them sit overnight. I don’t know if I notice any super effect from them, but they help me get rid of pimples faster as they act as a barrier so you don’t pick or squeeze the pimples, which makes them heal and disappear faster. They also feel gentle on the skin! My skin is often sensitive to plasters and their glue, but I noticed no irritation on the skin after using these! These are also very discreet, they are almost transparent in color and don’t show much when they are on the face. I have tested both these and the original, but I don’t notice any big difference between them. I don’t think this feels thinner than the original or is less visible than the other. I think both versions feel and look the same. It’s not a miracle product, but they protect pimples from dirt and prevent you from picking & squeezing them, which in turn makes the pimples heal and disappear faster. Not a favorite
I was assigned as #lykoinflutester to test these nose patches from #hero 🧡 My first impression was that the instructions on the package were poor. There were several instruction stickers on the back, but none of them were in Swedish or English. So I had to look up online/Lyko how to use these patches, and I don't think you should have to do that. When I found instructions online, it was time to use the patch, but it was very difficult. You can't remove the plastic on the patch, and it sticks so hard. I looked up on TikTok how others use and apply it, but it's the same as what I did, but the plastic doesn't come off. If I apply it with the plastic on, it can't be removed when the patch is on the nose, and the patch comes off with the plastic. If instead I remove the plastic before applying the patch, the patch becomes completely wrinkled & folded and is hard to use. Incredibly hard to apply. I think I had to throw away 4 before I could get one on. I've wasted half the package without getting one on properly. I don't know if there's something wrong with mine, but it feels like the plastic on the patch is way too strong and can't be removed without the patch also coming off the nose. I also tried cutting the patch into smaller pieces and removed the plastic before putting the patch on the nose, and then it was okay to apply, even though the patch then tends to stick to itself and fold. When I finally managed to get a patch on properly, I wore it on my nose overnight but noticed no major difference (neither did a family member who also tried sleeping with the patch on). I think it absorbed a little oil, but there was no difference at all in the pores on the nose. These were unfortunately not a favorite for me. They are way too hard to use and don't make any major difference for the skin. One positive thing I did notice, however, was that the patch is gentle on the skin. My skin is often sensitive to patches and their glue, but I noticed no irritation on the skin after using this! I have been assigned as a #lykoinflutester to test this sunscreen from #smuutiskin! 🍑☀️ My first impression of this product was that I love the concept of the packaging and how it looks! It’s really a perfect size to have in your handbag and apply extra sunscreen during the day when you’re not at home. Even better is that you don’t have to get your hands messy with the sunscreen since it has a small puff (which is also a cute little heart) that you apply it with! Another plus is that it has a small mirror! ✨ But when I actually tested the sunscreen, I was a bit disappointed with the packaging (which I had high hopes for). I found it hard to tell how much sunscreen you get out of the packaging since you pump a little at a time directly onto the small puff. It’s really hard to know how much sunscreen you’re actually using. 😣 Apart from the packaging, I think the sunscreen itself is really good! 💕☀️ It’s an SPF50 that protects very well. Also, the formula feels light and it absorbs quickly into the skin. You don’t feel like you have sunscreen on your face. 🥰 It also has no scent, which is appreciated! It also works very well together with makeup! With other sunscreens, I’ve experienced that makeup applied over sunscreen can shift a bit or mix with the sunscreen, but this one didn’t, which is a big plus! 🫶 However, I think the price is a bit steep. It’s a great sunscreen with a fantastic formula, but 15ml of product for 249kr is a bit too much in my opinion. 💜 A perfect summer scent 💜
I have, as #lykotestpilot, had the chance to test this perfume from #hugoboss! 💜 I had never used a perfume from Hugo Boss before, so it was very exciting to try it, and I was not disappointed at all! 🤩 When I first saw that the perfume’s top note was white lavender, I was a bit worried because I think lavender can smell very strong and sometimes overpower perfumes and similar products, but that was not the case here! The perfume smells faintly of lavender and jasmine when you first spray it, but after a while, that scent settles down and the base note takes over with a fresh coconut scent. The floral scent is just right and the coconut accords are not too sweet. 🥥 🌼 This is a perfume that is very fresh and a scent that doesn’t feel too heavy, yet it has depth and you can sense all the different scent notes. I also think it feels like a luxurious and sophisticated perfume that suits both everyday use and parties. Additionally, it’s perfect for summer now! ☀️🌼 The packaging is also very nice! It has a lavender-purple box with reflective gold details that make it look luxurious and high-end. I have been assigned as #lykoinflutester to test this All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray Matte Finish from #urbandecay! ❤️ My go-to setting spray is the original All Nighter setting spray, so it was very exciting to try the matte version! 🥰 My first impression was that the packaging was very nice! It seems like Urban Decay has renewed the design of the box and the bottle, and they are very nice! 🫶 I used the setting spray like this when I did my makeup: I do my base makeup (primer, foundation, contour, powder) and spray one layer of setting spray. Then I do my eyes & eyebrows and spray another layer of setting spray. Finally, I apply bronzer, highlighter, and lipstick and finish with a layer of setting spray. This makes my makeup last extra well! The setting spray does not make the skin feel dry even though it is a matte product. It also dries relatively quickly into the makeup and holds it in place very well! This is a super good setting spray! The makeup lasts a long time and gets a nice and smooth finish! However, unfortunately, I don’t think the result is matte. It gives a slightly blurred finish but the face still has a clear glow. It is a great setting spray but I don’t notice much difference from the regular All Nighter setting spray. I have been assigned as #lykoinflutester to test this Face Bond Compact Waterproof Luminizer All Day Glow in the color Mirror Ball from #urbandecay! 🩷 This was the first time I have used a highlighter in liquid form, and I really like it! 🫶✨ My first impression was that the packaging is very nice and luxurious! Both the box and the bottle with the product look very nice. In the bottle, the highlighter looks very white, but when you apply it to the skin, you only see pink glitter/shimmer which is really pretty! I also noticed that the highlighter looks different in different lights. Indoors it is more like a glowing, pink shimmer, while outdoors in direct sunlight it looks like a radiant, pink glitter instead. 🩷✨ I want to add that my camera does not do this highlighter justice at all. 😭 It is MUCH more visible in real life and it is more pink than it looks through my phone camera! It is also more glittery than it appears in my pictures. ✨ I have tried using the highlighter in a few different ways as mentioned in the product description; 🪩 As a highlighter on cheeks/face: It is SO pretty as a highlighter on the face! Since it is pink, it is like a blush and highlighter in one. It reflects light beautifully and gives an intense but very nice glow! It also does not disturb the foundation underneath when you apply it, which is a big plus! The only negative I noticed was that it created a bit of a white/gray shadow on the cheeks when the light does not reflect directly on the highlighter. 🪩 As an eyeshadow: Unfortunately, I do not like it as an eyeshadow. It is barely visible on the eyelid and it settles into the fine lines of the eyelid and creates streaks. 🪩 As a body glitter: I love it as a body glitter! It looks very glittery and pretty.
