It didn't quite turn out the right shade, but rather more towards peach, and the color became uneven. I recommend Revlon's color bomb in pink (005) to achieve a pink tone that also lasts longer. However, I have bought the purple mask color and it never colors my pre-lighted hair evenly. I feel the formula, once applied to the hair, becomes too watery and spreads too much on the hair and makes you think you have evenly applied the color. I've never experienced anything like it, and I've tried sooo many colors over the years π Super vibrant and it sticks right away on the shower floor, sink, etc. But I use a cleaning spray from "Inga konstigheter" and it's pure magic! Preparation:
1. Shampoo
Wash your hair with a pH balanced shampoo; we recommend La Riche Pre Colour Shampoo. This will give your hair the right balance, ensuring that Directions hair color achieves the best results. Directions Colour Protecting Shampoo is specially formulated for colored hair, helping you get the most out of your color. It leaves your hair soft, manageable, and with an amazing shine.
Application:
2. Comb your hair
Comb the Directions hair color into your hair until the color emulsifies, meaning it starts to foam. This indicates that the color has penetrated the hair; lighter shades may require a bit more combing.
3. Processing
Let the color sit for 15 to 30 minutes. A plastic cap helps retain heat in the hair, which can lead to better results.

4. Rinsing
Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water, avoiding your face, until all excess color is washed out. If you're applying more than one color, make sure to wash and dry the hair separately. Be extra careful when coloring only parts of light hair.
Tips:
- Wear plastic gloves when applying the color.
- Apply petroleum jelly or another thick ointment along your hairline to avoid getting color on your forehead.
- As with all hair colors, it's recommended to do a patch test first.
- Don't use conditioner before coloring your hair.
