Super pretty color, but didn't take at the roots.
I had heard so much about this so I was very eager to try it! Used their shampoo first as recommended. I think the color stuck really well to the rest of the hair and became strong and pretty! π But it didn't take at the roots, so it doesn't look that nice. I'm going to try to just dye the roots and see how it turns out. But a bit disappointed that it didn't take there at all. I mixed this and a little vermillion red to get the right shade. #lykoreview1 product in post Super pretty color, but didn't take at the roots.5239 views- 4 monthsYes, that was really annoying, I'm still smiling because it set so nicely in the rest of the hair π₯² Thank you, lovely you ππ

Pink pastel
I have bleached hair, but this color washed out after one wash, so on the first rinse. It didn't quite turn out the right shade, but rather more towards peach, and the color became uneven. I recommend Revlon's color bomb in pink (005) to achieve a pink tone that also lasts longer. I usually mix it with conditioner, it becomes really pink if you only add the color bomb without diluting ππ«‘1 product in post Pink pastel26910 viewsto leave a comment - 5 daysRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Very good hair color
I was actually very pleasantly surprised by this color, and it has held up very well even though I wash my hair with warm water1 product in post Very good hair color127 viewsto leave a comment - 1 week
Hey!!
Is this a regular permanent color? Do you have to bleach first? I have black dyed hair and I'm thinking about doing skunk hair (very large colored streaks). Is this good to use then?1 product in post Hey!!223 views- Hairdresser at Lyko1 weekHey Wilja! π€ Directions Hair Colour is a semi-permanent dye, it sits on top of the hair strand and gradually washes out over a few weeks π Since you have black dyed hair and want to do "skunk highlights", you need to bleach the areas where you want the light or bright colors for the color to show properly. Directions colors are the best for sharp, vibrant colors after bleaching π€ Good luck in your home salon and have a nice day πΈ1 likes

Will I get my blonde hair back?
I was thinking of ordering the pink color for my platinum blonde hair. Just wondering if it can be done and then if it fades after a while or will it stay "very long"?1 product in post Will I get my blonde hair back?567 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHey Daisy!π Oh, how lovely to add some color to your platinum blonde hair!π©· I just want to flag that the color youβre looking at is not a rinse that washes out over time, but rather a permanent color that can be hard to completely remove if you want to go back to light later on. Therefore, I would instead warmly recommend this color treatment from our own brand π lyko.com/sv/by-lyko/lyko-haircolor-c057pastel-fuchsia-200ml?fromsearch=Lyko%2BHaircolor%2BPastel%2BFuchsia%2B It gives a super pretty pink shade, but washes out gradually, perfect if you want to try a color without committing for too long! Take care!π₯°

Question about color
How well do purple shades stick to dirty blonde hair?1 product in post Question about color466 views- Customer service at Lyko3 weeksHi Alma, Thank you for your question! The brand has designed the product images so that the desired result is achieved when the starting hair color is white βΊοΈ If there is already a color in the hair, this will also affect the color result. The porosity, condition, and quality of the hair can also influence the outcome! However, this is a darker shade, so generally, the starting hair color (if it is light) does not affect as strongly as with pastel shades π Unfortunately, I can't say more precisely what the result would be on your hair! I recommend that you first try the color on a small section of your hair to see if the result matches the desired shade! I hope this was helpful. Sunny Friday ππ1 likes

Super good!!
Insanely vibrant color, I only used one jar for my whole hair!! Important to keep in mind is that it easily sticks to light surfaces, so prepare with bleach, and the hair must be treated (bleached) beforehand for it to stick (it says in the instructions). I had a bit of regrowth which it didn't stick as well to, but I can deal with that. I don't remember how long I had it in, but maybe around 20 minutes? Super good just!! Hope it keeps the color :))1 product in post Super good!!1647 viewsto leave a comment - 1 monthRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
Honest
They are a hit or miss for me. Their shades inn green, plum and blue, never a problem. But i would like to warn that some of their "purple colors are a bit weird. Ebony looks black online and when i went to a store that sells directions hair dye, the swatch was black. To my surprise it turned a warm purple, and later just blue I guess for the price i can't really complain though1 product in post Honest486 viewsto leave a comment - 1 month
Fluorescent yellow "+ tangerine
Hey! Iβve been on the hunt for ever bright daffodil because I want to do a rainbow look (a month after pride haha but still) and I was wondering if you can mix FY and T to get a slightly warmer yellow instead of a green yellow?1 product in post Fluorescent yellow "+ tangerine630 views- Hairdresser at Lyko1 monthHey Maria! ππΌ Yes, you can absolutely mix Fluorescent Yellow and Apricot for a warmer yellow! π This way, the green is toned down, and you get a sunnier, golden shade βοΈ Feel free to try it on a strand first, and rainbow hair works year-round if you ask me! πβ¨ Have a nice day πΊ1 likes

DirectionsHair ColourSemi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Colour Silver
Vibrant, bold semi-permanent colors in a ton of different shades. Super easy to use and you can mix the colors to create your very own unique hue!
Preparation:
1. Shampoo
Wash your hair with a pH balanced shampoo; we recommend La Riche Pre Colour Shampoo. This will give your hair the right balance, ensuring that Directions hair color achieves the best results. Directions Colour Protecting Shampoo is specially formulated for colored hair, helping you get the most out of your color. It leaves your hair soft, manageable, and with an amazing shine.
Application:
2. Comb your hair
Comb the Directions hair color into your hair until the color emulsifies, meaning it starts to foam. This indicates that the color has penetrated the hair; lighter shades may require a bit more combing.
3. Processing
Let the color sit for 15 to 30 minutes. A plastic cap helps retain heat in the hair, which can lead to better results.
Results:
4. Rinsing
Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water, avoiding your face, until all excess color is washed out. If you're applying more than one color, make sure to wash and dry the hair separately. Be extra careful when coloring only parts of light hair.
Tips:
- Wear plastic gloves when applying the color.
- Apply petroleum jelly or another thick ointment along your hairline to avoid getting color on your forehead.
- As with all hair colors, it's recommended to do a patch test first.
- Don't use conditioner before coloring your hair.
Note! The colors may vary slightly from what is shown in the picture depending on hair type and original hair color.
