Not up to expectations
For me, the blades were too dull, had to go over multiple times and even then it wasn't a good result for me. A lot of "soap" around too which didn't make it any better. The product is also very heavy to hold, which makes it difficult to gauge the pressure you should use. Going back to Gillette.

No, ouch, not again...
After a few times, it shaved generally poorly and carelessly, hurt and felt wrong, plus too much soap and poorly shaved. I dropped it a few hundred times on the floor and the razor broke. (Heavy razor). When it was then placed in its little spot on the wall, everything fell to the floor after a day. Anyway, nothing to recommend. It's okay
I bought Estrid 2 years ago and was very satisfied with it. It shaved really well and the razor itself was HEAVY and felt luxurious! I lost it right away though and haven't used it since, but wanted to try it again now and saw that so many were dissatisfied, but I wanted to see for myself. The first thing I noticed was that the razor is much lighter, you can feel that the whole razor has been redesigned. The shaving itself went well, it doesn't hurt me personally, and I thought it shaved well in the shower! But when I came out and dried my skin, I felt that many of the hair roots were left behind and it didn't feel completely smooth, so I was disappointed about that. HOWEVER, I shave when I don't have much hair, so it could be due to that, but my cheap razor from HM shaved everything off even if the hair was small... aja. Overrated razor
I've been using Estrid since the brand was new, and I liked the idea of subscribing to razor blades and having them sent to my mailbox. Nice design and practical case. I didn't think the razor blades were the best, but they worked OK; however, I think their updated razor blades with beige edges (previously blue) have become extremely much worse and bring the razor down a lot in rating. Additionally, the edge is incredibly thick and makes intimate shaving more difficult. I'm considering trying the narrower variant (for the face) for that purpose. The design of the handle is nice but impractical as it lacks any type of rubber, making it easy to drop the razor and accidentally cut yourself. The holder for the handle sits poorly on the wall despite cleaning, etc., before placement. My razor broke once when it fell from the wall because the holder sits really poorly. I bought this beautiful looking shaver a couple of months ago and was quite disappointed. Since I started using it, the shaver head keeps falling off during use.
