I work as a hairdresser and we have Maria Nila. So I have tested this Hair gloss spray both on myself and customers for several weeks. There’s a reason this spray has taken off. The hair becomes sooooo shiny and noticeably less frizz. But to get the effect of this spray, you have to use a blow dryer, so don’t air dry your hair. The scent of the spray is really good and the bottle is pretty to look at. + it’s heat protecting. Fits a lot
I have tested this gloss spray to give my hair extra shine, and it gives a pretty nice result, but with some reservations. The product is easy to apply and distributes evenly without feeling sticky, which I like, but it feels almost a bit wet in the hair. It definitely gives a visible shine and makes the hair look more polished and “finished styled,” especially on blow-dried hair. At the same time, I notice that the effect can be a bit superficial – it looks good in the moment, but doesn’t necessarily give a feeling of care or improved hair quality. If you use a bit too much, the hair can quickly feel a bit heavy or have a slight greasy touch, so it’s important to be careful with the amount. I also miss that it provides a bit more long-lasting effect throughout the day. All in all, this is a decent styling product for extra shine, but it feels more like a quick fix for a photoshoot than a product I must have in my routine. Unfortunately, hair gets greasy faster
I have had the honor of testing three products from Maria Nila as #lykoinflutester ✨️ I already have some favorites from the brand, so it was exciting to try something new! In this review, we will look at the Maria Nila Style & finish gloss coat; a heat-activated product that is said to provide shine, combat frizz, and protect against heat damage 🧖🏼♀️ I have typically Scandinavian hair that is fully bleached, which I recently toned down, so I am careful to protect my hair during heat styling and stick to heat styling my hair 2 times a week. The bottle is sleek and looks nice on the bathroom shelf. I really like the spray pump! It distributes the product evenly in the hair. The product has a fruity and floral scent that I like! The scent is quite strong when you first spray the product in your hair, but it tones down when I blow-dry my hair. My hair smells freshly washed. The product delivers on its promises! My hair becomes both super soft and shiny when I use the product in combination with blow-drying with a round brush. The spray leaves no product feel in the hair, frizz is reduced, and the hair looks well-groomed. However, I still experience that my hair gets greasy faster, which brings down the score as I try to stick to two washes a week. As #lykoinflutester, I have tested the Style&Finish Gloss Coat from the brand #marianila My hair: Striped, needs moisture/care. I can also experience periods of hair loss. I think this product does the job very well. The hair is left soft and smooth after styling, while also getting a lovely shine. It effectively helps tame frizz without weighing the hair down, something I often find similar products can do. A big plus is that it provides heat protection up to 230°C, which is important for me as I use heat tools. The spray function distributes the product evenly in the hair and the design is so cute. The scent is mild but lovely. All in all, a product I will definitely continue to use. Wow what a gloss coat😍
As #lykoinflutester I have received some hair products from #marianila 🌸 I have used this gloss coat after every wash and wow what a nice shine the hair gets! I have used it together with Maria Nila repair bond builder on damp/towel-dried hair and I notice a big difference in the hair's shine and softness ✨. I sleep with a silk bonnet so the hair really stays super shiny until the next wash. I like the spray and how easily the product distributes in the hair. After I spray, I brush the hair with a wetbrush for an even distribution. I also love the scent just like all the other products from Maria Nila. Smells fresh and feminine. 🌸 I also love that it has heat protection in it! It’s like two products in one. Soft Fragrant Hair
There’s nothing else to say about this product other than it’s simply amazing!😍 My hair is thin and fine, and it hasn’t been easy to find products that don’t weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy. I don’t have much experience with shine-giving products since the ones I’ve tried before have made my hair feel just greasy and heavy. This leaves no product feel at all, and my hair feels so incredibly healthy and soft. My husband actually had to ask me what I used in my hair because it was so incredibly soft🥰 I’ve used this on towel-dried hair but without heat tools since I always let my hair air dry, and it has been like a detangling and nourishing conditioner. But I’ve also, against all usage instructions, used it on dry hair to nourish the lengths and ends, and it really doesn’t matter how much product I use, my hair stays airy and not greasy or heavy. I received this from Lyko to test and review as #lykoinflutester I can start with the packaging, it’s really nice to have in the bathroom and the mist is really good, I think. The scent is nice, just right, not too much. I’ve had this in wet hair and I never blow-dry my hair, I let it air dry. But I think the hair becomes easy to comb and smooth, no frizz and I really notice it the next day when I straighten my hair, shiny, less frizz and not as much that is damaged. I love that it has heat protection in it. 💥I have tested this Gloss coat from Maria Nila and wow, it delivers on its promises!! 👉My hair: Thin, a bit dry on the lengths but gets oily quickly at the roots. However, no problem with frizz so I can't say how it performs in that regard. I LOVE when I find products that give shine to my hair, because shiny hair is something I really strive for. 🧴About the packaging: Such a lovely and delightful bottle, just the appearance puts me in a good mood. The pump is perfect, just the right mist comes out and the distribution of the mist is really good! 🍎Scent: Of the three products I have tested from Maria Nila, I appreciate this scent the most. Not strong at all, just fresh and light. You can read that the scent notes are red apple, freesia, and sandalwood. Smells so good!!! ✨Result: I am always afraid that such types of products will either weigh down my hair or make it greasy, but this one does not. I can spray it on for two days after washing and it still doesn't make my hair greasier, just fresher. 😍I can, with my hand on my heart, say that this gives my hair such an incredible shine that no other product has given my hair before! LOVE! 🫣If I have to find something negative, it’s that my hair tends to get a bit flyaway if I don’t put in some mousse or other hold, but that’s not a bother. 🙏As you understand, I recommend this to almost everyone, I can't see who it wouldn't suit.
