    Synthetic fruity and fresh

    This was an impulse buy motivated by the fact that I can't wear EDP at work. The thought was simply, “body mists are not as long-lasting, a bit more discreet, and can be sprayed on liberally!” And HAVE I sprayed this here wildly and mercilessly? The answer is yes, damn, what it has gone to. My first and absolutely most important tip regarding the product is not to have it in your mouth. It’s very good if you close your mouth when the nozzle on the bottle is pressed down and applied at face height — otherwise, it gets QUITE uncomfortable. (I can, possibly, maybe, perhaps speak from personal experience.) But how is the scent? What is positive and what is, unfortunately, negative? The body mist has a sharp scent right upon application, where I personally experience it as a bit synthetic and harsh but not heavy like a regular perfume can be. The sharpness thankfully fades quickly, and what you have left is a fleeting guest called I love… mango & papaya. It’s not particularly long-lasting and fades within a couple of hours. In my hair, I can still smell it a few days later, the same goes for some of my clothes. However, it’s mostly a synthetic sweet scent that lingers. Even though it sounds overwhelmingly negative, I am still satisfied with it, as it is a cute little mist that does what I thought it would do, namely a scent that you don’t have to worry about too much. It’s light, harmless, and fruity - just as I expected! Considering the price, it’s a good little friend to have here on the edge of autumn, a tropical touch can make me close my eyes in the office and dream myself away to other views. I hadn’t sniffed it before, but I think that if you already tend to wear fruity notes, this is not a particularly risky purchase. It feels like a “non-personal” scent that suits many, for better or worse. I won’t buy this one again, but I can imagine trying another I love… scent later just to see if the others can bring the same pleasure as this one!
