Love this!!
Hooray that Danessa Myricks is now available at Lyko!! Blurring Balm Powder is such a fantastically innovative product. It can be such a help for so many. I especially want to sing a serenade for the colorless variant called universal (note not to be confused with universal radiant, which is a new shimmering variant that I have not yet tested). Universal (I see that it is not in stock now, but if Lyko sees this, please note that there are now two colorless in the lineup, one completely colorless and one colorless with shimmer, so you don’t miss buying the completely colorless one because it is heelt wonderful!! What is this then? Well, nothing less than a powder in balm form!. Completely brilliant for dry skin types, mature skin, sensitive skin that generally has trouble with powders because it mattifies too much or makes the skin drier throughout the day. Blurring balm powder is not built on talc or similar powders that absorb oil and moisture drawn from the skin. As long as there is absorption capacity in the product, it will continue its process all day. Which often leads to makeup breaking down during the day if you have dry skin. Blurring balm Powder, on the other hand, is built around the Swedish innovation Upsalite, created by a team in Uppsala that has put the panther on a tiny micro-sponge, (think sponge in powder form) that instead of powder can absorb moisture and oil. But without making them completely inaccessible to the skin. That is, it can also give back to the skin when it starts to thirst. Which means it keeps the skin from becoming super shiny. But it also prevents it from drying out. Totally magnificent!. All that is needed is to lightly dab/press (no hard pressing needed) a tiny amount where you want the makeup to hold its finish or become a little more matte, and voilà, you have a super nice finish with a little less visible pores and a makeup that stays all day and looks just as nice when you get home as when you applied your makeup. It has replaced all powders for me. And it is also very easy to carry with you if you unexpectedly want to touch UP during the day. Then you can advantageously use one of the colored variants. Which are perfect for touch-ups. But also super nice if you want a more satin-matte foundation. The colored variants are more of a foundation. But the universal variant - that is, the completely colorless one is a makeup product that is simply wonderful. And also fun that it contains a Swedish innovation. I actually use a sponge to apply the balm powder, mostly because that was what I happened to have on hand the first time. But it can also be used with fingers, a powder puff, (actually), brush, etc. I like the sponge because it can be used without sweeping motions. Which is good if you have, for example, a cream blush underneath that doesn’t have any set function so that you don’t move around what is underneath but just lightly press this on top. Also note that you can go a long way with very little. When you apply, you see no difference. The difference comes when the product sets and absorbs excess moisture and oil. And if you take too much, it can feel a bit thick on the skin.1 product in post Love this!!560 views - The post was made 21 hoursRating: 5 out of 5verified customer

Universal
It definitely mattifies the skin, but I definitely don't notice any moisturizing effect. It actually makes the skin really dry. I haven't noticed any blurring effect. So far, I've only tried it with mineral powder, and I don't think it really works as a primer underneath. I used it on the T-zone, and the powder applied on top felt like it was gathering unsightly in those areas. Maybe it works better with foundation.1 product in post Universal2563 views - The post was made 4 months
Why can't you click on your pictures?
To be the biggest online player in beauty, your site is terrible 😅 how am I supposed to look closely at the tone of the color if I can't even click or zoom in on the picture? And the colors, they have a number and your “color bubbles” do not match at all with those on the website. A dropdown with number and color would have been intuitive like many others have. I have become so incredibly tired of spending time here that I usually buy things elsewhere. You should check support for different systems (iOS/android) because it doesn't even work to click on a picture on my phone and it never has. It looks like you're accessing it via a computer and not a phone. I guess over 95% access it via their phones. You can do as you wish if you want to troubleshoot this, I can only explain what doesn't work :)4 likes

DM Blurring balm powder
Why don't you have color 7? You have 6.5 but it looks way too yellow in the picture. I have 6 and it's just a little too light. My undertone is neutral olive, medium to tan. I can do warm olive, but it can't be too yellow/red. Then I look like Hiawatha. It would be nice if I could get some guidance on color here 😀1 product in post DM Blurring balm powder2146 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 4 monthsHi Elisabet😊👋🏼 Unfortunately, we do not have color 7 in stock today, as we do not have a full range available from our supplier. We will definitely look into the possibility of bringing in color 7, but we cannot guarantee anything just yet. However, we will gladly take your request forward. Wishing you a nice day!

Layer upon layer?
I bought this here, "universal", to use as a primer, I didn't dare to buy a tinted one. I've used it a few times with a few days in between, my skin is very lightly covered :) I think the skin looks more matte and blurred with this underneath. I don't think it runs and creases as much as with other products. (I've switched to only using mineral makeup in powder form, but my skin often looks dead and the coverage isn't the best) Now to the questions: do you use universal as a primer and then a tinted one as "foundation" or can you just use a tinted one and it gives the effect of having primer underneath? I don't know if it's understandable what I mean? How buildable is it? It smells very unpleasant when applied, this disappears as soon as it sinks in, but should it smell? Can you use a brush to apply, I feel it feels uneven to pat in with fingers?1 product in post Layer upon layer?1780 views- The comment was made 4 monthsMy experience is that you can use it under foundation as a primer (I only use primer in the T-zone) to mattify, you can also mix it with other liquid foundation, and you can use it over foundation that is a bit too shiny. I like to use makeup brushes for foundation, but I specifically use my fingers when I use it as a primer. For the colored one, I only use a brush, not my fingers. Good luck 👍1 likes
