Nyx primer
The Nyx primer is definitely the best I've tried! And I've tried them all. It moisturizes the skin well and the makeup stays in place from morning to evening, also gave a slight so-called glow to the face. You either love it or hate it
2 stars for the product because it is odorless/neutral, so it suits many in that regard, plus it is also economical and affordable, but unfortunately, the product was not suitable for me. The packaging reminds me too much of a real glue tube, which I don't like, and I even see it as a safety risk as a mother. However, I do understand the idea behind the "fun" and attention-grabbing packaging design. I am 34. I have surface-dry and quite reactive skin. It feels like it was difficult to work with the product, and the stickiness is perhaps the worst sensory irritation that cosmetics can have, whether it’s lip gloss, body lotion, etc. So this sticky consistency was definitely a big no for my taste. The product is colorless, so it suits any skin tone, which is a good thing, but unfortunately, this is a product I wouldn’t reach for in the store based on the packaging, and this testing confirmed that this is just not the right product for me, and I am not its target audience. Generally, I also hope that my primers can blur and smooth out pores as well as fine lines. This does not do that. Impressive Result
I had high expectations for this primer, and it actually managed to impress me in several areas. First and foremost, it provides a lot of moisture to the skin and makes it soft and smooth. When I apply foundation afterward, I get a more even result than I usually do, and the makeup applies nicely without clumping. It feels like my skin gets a little lift every time I use it, and the makeup looks more polished. The packaging is designed to resemble an old school glue bottle, which creates a fun and nostalgic feeling. Good primer!
I have tested this primer from #nyx and I am positively surprised! The first impression is that this looks a bit scary because of the packaging, but I was surprised that it doesn't feel artificial from the inside✨ It has no fragrance which makes it feel safer to have as a base, it is a bit sticky but easy to spread on the skin. I have tons of primers, but this one is the best of all! My skin!🧴 💌Oily on the forehead, under the nose, and also around the nose. 💌Dry on the lower cheeks 💌A pimple bomb!😅 I wanted a primer that can withstand everything! For example: Outings, school, and more. And then this one fell into my cart, I got curious about the packaging since it looked like a glue bottle!😁 The packaging is a bit hard to figure out, but it works! At first feel, when you apply it and blend it out, it is a bit thick but becomes a thin and nice texture on the face. I don't know what it gives (like whether it's matte or dewy) In my opinion, as someone with oily skin, it becomes like my skin, so it’s probably the base that decides what it will be. It keeps the makeup in place ALL day with different setting sprays. Its companion (the setting spray) works well together. You probably know that I always write about whether it contains perfume or not, this is of course no exception. It does not contain perfume! It is very moisturizing, for me, there are no pimples from this. Good primer
I am really glad that I got to test this primer as a Lyko Influtester. The Face Glue Primer is a good product and I actually like the thicker consistency, which feels creamy and full in a way that many will surely appreciate, but it absolutely does not feel heavy on the skin. Unfortunately, it doesn't work perfectly on my oily/combination skin. Even though it applies nicely at first, it starts to roll on me towards the end of the day, which detracts from the overall impression. It works okay, but I have another favorite from NYX that suits my skin better. For those who like a more "grippy", fuller primer, this one might still be worth trying! Good primer
A product that lives up to its name! NYX's The Face Glue Primer creates a durable base for makeup together with moisturizing skincare products. Based on the testing period, I can also recommend this for dry skin, as it hasn't dried my skin out further or clogged my pores according to my experience. Best grip primer I've tried
I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to try this primer from #nyx I am definitely satisfied with it, as the blurring effect it is supposed to have worked for me. I have a combination skin type that gets a bit drier now that it’s starting to get colder, with some enlarged pores. Therefore, I was extra happy about this one, as other grip primers I’ve tried don’t suit my skin type and/or cause the foundation to clump. Soft and lovely consistency that sinks into the skin while leaving a slightly sticky surface that absorbs foundation and other cream products. The reason it doesn’t get five stars is that the oiliness on my forehead creeps out after a couple of hours, and I think a blurring primer should counteract that as well. But that’s a "me problem" and someone with normal to dry skin would probably have fared better in that regard. But overall, only positive!494 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Worth every single penny!
Where has this been my whole life!!?? I especially have incredibly dry skin this time of year, which often makes me struggle with: 1. Makeup not applying nicely. 2. Makeup leaving the party long before I do 🙈 My first impression of this is that it has a very smooth and nice consistency, I was able to work it in a bit where I am extra dry and «flaky». It didn’t look ugly or cakey where I applied a little extra 🤩 The makeup lasts ALL day 🙌🏼 It’s even cry-proof! I often get lines especially around my mouth/cheeks when I’ve laughed and smiled all night - not with this one! I would assert that my makeup has never looked better than when I use this!
