Soft and moisturizing
Now I have tested the NCLA Beauty Strawberry Lemonade Lip Balm. It’s fine but I’m not impressed
Why not? It’s very small, a bit sticky, had a pinkish slight tinge when applied bare for daywear (no makeup), and for me, it’s just another lip balm. The only thing I liked was it’s edible. I have tested this lip balm for 3 weeks from #nclabeauty and can say that it was totally okay, no positive surprise. 💘moisturizes 💘creamy consistency But the price doesn't hold, a bit expensive. Luxury in everyday life!
I tested this scrub together with the lip scrub from the same brand and scent, and I am very satisfied with both products! I have attached a video where I use both. I have quite dry lips during the day, and this makes my lips super soft! I have used it both together with the scrub and alone, and I really like using it at night to wake up with soft lips. It’s also very nice to use during the day as you get a nice shine without too much color. It also smells incredibly fresh of strawberries, and feels very pleasant on! The price is a bit steep, and that’s the only reason I take off one star. I have tested NCLA's lip scrub and lip balm in collaboration with Lyko 🤗 🍭🧁 🍭 Both the lip scrub and the balm smell good, reminiscent of cupcake icing 😋🧁 🍭 The scrub has a thick and hard consistency. It is a bit tricky to spread over the lips, the sugar spreads a bit in all directions. Small packaging, handy to take with you on the go! Comes with a small heart-shaped peeling tool. Does a good job of removing dead layers! 🍭 The balm is in a handy little jar. It is very economical to use and has a buttery consistency. Melts quickly from when you put it on your lips to when it is spread. Moisturizes the lips well, but not everything absorbs and stays kind of "lying" there, so you shouldn't take too much. Otherwise, I liked it a lot. I have enjoyed both and will continue to use them! Here is the product that lasts a while and is very economical to use. Due to a hospital stay, I haven't been able to dive as deep into the seams as I like when I have to test something new. I'm not a fan of this type of balm, where you have to press your finger into the product and risk leaving bacteria and other gross stuff, and I don't want to buy something that makes it easier to apply either. I'd rather buy a regular tube that works at least as well, without causing me to wash my hands a million extra times before and after application. Otherwise, it smelled really good and has a sweet color that thankfully doesn't transfer too much, and it's economical, as well as feeling ok on the lips, a bit sticky it is naturally. have been testing 3 lovely products from NCLA beauty over the past few weeks: 🌸 NCLA Beauty Hey, Sugar -Strawberry Lemonade Body Scrub 250 g 🌸 NCLA Beauty Sugar Sugar -Strawberry Lemonade Lip Scrub 15 ml 🌸 NCLA Beauty Balm Babe -Strawberry Lemonade Lip Balm 10 ml First and foremost, the scent is wonderful!! 🍬 smells like candy - sweet and fruity! And tastes good on the lips! Plus points for that!! I tend to feel a bit bad from lip balm that gives off flavor, but I have absolutely no problem with this flavor. On the contrary! But otherwise? Well, not super impressed actually. A good lip balm, lasts and moisturizes for maybe an hour. The color is transparent and has a good consistency! However, I'm not a fan of the packaging. I have tested three products from NCLA Beauty's range of skincare products. This lip balm together with their lip scrub is supposed to both exfoliate and moisturize the lips. It smells sweet and fruity of strawberry, and I find my lips incredibly soft and smooth after the treatment with the scrub and then smeared with this balm. However, I feel that the balm disappears quickly, and I need to reapply it to my lips quite soon after the first application. Smells good 😋
I have been so lucky to test out this lip balm and the other products in this series for a while now. The first thing that strikes me when I open the product is the cute packaging it comes in, and the delicious scent of strawberry lemonade + that it tastes just as sweet as it smells😋 The balm is pink, but I don't feel like it gives any color to the lips (which is a plus for me). I'm not a big fan of jars, as they aren't very hygienic, and there isn't an applicator included, so that brings it down a bit. But it provides good moisture and the lips become soft. Balm babe - Smells good
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try products from #NCLABEAUTY, the strawberry lemonade series. To start with, the entire series smells divine. You kind of want to eat the whole content. The lip balm, like the other products, smells 🍰🍓☀️. I like the ingredients, and the balm moisturizes the lips well. I've used it more like a lip mask at night. If you first scrub your lips with the scrub and then apply this over, you wake up with moisturized and soft lips. 👄 But I wouldn't say it's much better/stands out from other cheaper lip balms. So it gets a minus point for the price. However, I would say it's economical. Also, I'm not a big fan of the jar packaging for hygienic reasons. But it's small and handy. Smells and tastes lovely
NCLA Beauty Balm babe - strawberry lemonade lipbalm I have now had the chance to test this lip balm for a while. My first impression is that the packaging is very cute and lovely, it looks great in my bag and on the shelf in the bathroom. It also smells incredibly good of sweet strawberries. The consistency is creamy and light, and as long as you don’t have super long nails, it’s easy to apply from the jar. It tastes good too. I really like that it has natural ingredients that make it feel safe and pleasant to use. It provides good moisture and care for my lips and is comfortable to wear both during the day and at night.
