    ....

I got to test this leave-in conditioner from #redken. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are just as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) This is the leave-in conditioner from Redken's popular bond building product line. My experience: The scent is very masculine and lingers for a long time.. I don't like smelling like a man, so that's a big minus. But if you overlook the scent, it's a good, creamy leave-in conditioner that also protects the hair when blow-drying (if you're going to straighten or curl your hair, you'll probably need a separate heat protectant). The silicones make the hair soft, easy to comb, and give it a healthy, shiny look. Is it worth your money? Well.. more worth it than the shampoo, but still expensive. You can find better, cheaper alternatives. A cheaper bond building alternative is L'Oréal's bond building line.. they have the same owner and similar ingredient lists. But if you really want to try something from Redken's bond building line, I think it's enough to use either the pre-shampoo treatment, the conditioner, or the leave-in conditioner. You definitely don't need all four products. #redken #redkenacidicbondingconcentrate #leaveinconditioner #lykoreview

    Very satisfied

I understand a bit about this regarding it smelling a bit like men's perfume, if you're overly sensitive it might get annoying, but I don't think it smells at all when you like blow-dry or scent your hair afterwards. The only negatives I experienced, a bit weird, was that with too much product, the hair became a bit too product-like. It gave a bit of an unpleasant, unclean feeling from too much. However, it's good that the product lasts as long as it does. But it really only takes a little pea for medium-length hair, so you have to test it out. But ABSOLUTELY worth it, incredible shine!🤩🤩

    Buy buy buy

Actually made a difference to my hair. Some hair strands went from severely damaged to smooth and sleek. I've used other products with amodimethicone in them like Elvital anti-breakage, but this one has a better formula and is easier to distribute in the hair. Totally worth the money!

    Revives hair!

My hair is quite coarse in quality because A. I have curly/wavy hair B. I heat style and color my hair. I feel that this product has helped me a lot in my process to achieve healthy-looking and longer hair! I always apply the product after showering on towel-dried hair, after which I spray extra heat protection and blow-dry + style my hair. I give plus points for the fact that there is also heat protection in the conditioner itself! I still like to spray extra heat protection in my hair because I don’t want to put a creamy product close to my scalp so that my hair doesn’t get flat. And one more thing: the product smells really good to me, adds a lot of extra shine to the hair, and I’ve noticed that my hair breaks less! Of course, it should be noted that I also take care of my hair occasionally with K-18mask and my current routine includes a silk pillowcase, which may also help prevent hair breakage. But overall, I like it! #lykoreview

Is the product suitable for tape extensions?🙃

Hey Nella, Thanks for your question 💛 The Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In Treatment is generally suitable for tape extensions when the product is used correctly. It is nourishing and silicone-based, and does not contain large amounts of oils that would typically weaken the adhesive surface of the tapes. We recommend applying the product only to the lengths and ends of the hair and avoiding the tape attachment points and roots. This way, the attachment of the extensions remains as good as possible and the adhesive surface does not soften. However, we want to emphasize that we recommend confirming this with your hairstylist. Your stylist knows the tape brand you are using, the adhesive, and the condition of your hair, and can give you the best recommendation for you 💕 Hope this was helpful! 🥰

I bought this and I'm wondering, does it contain silicones, and if so, are they water-soluble? Also, do you need to have colored damaged hair to use it?

Hey Nora 👋 This product contains silicones that are not water-soluble. You don’t need to have color-treated hair to use it, it’s perfect for all types of damaged or exposed hair and also provides heat protection. If you have fine hair, start with a small amount! All the best! ✨

    Everything you need after washing

The hair gets the nourishment it needs after washing. Nothing else is needed. Smells good too (not too strong).
