I got to test this leave-in conditioner from #redken. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are just as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) This is the leave-in conditioner from Redken's popular bond building product line. My experience: The scent is very masculine and lingers for a long time.. I don't like smelling like a man, so that's a big minus. But if you overlook the scent, it's a good, creamy leave-in conditioner that also protects the hair when blow-drying (if you're going to straighten or curl your hair, you'll probably need a separate heat protectant). The silicones make the hair soft, easy to comb, and give it a healthy, shiny look. Is it worth your money? Well.. more worth it than the shampoo, but still expensive. You can find better, cheaper alternatives. A cheaper bond building alternative is L'Oréal's bond building line.. they have the same owner and similar ingredient lists. But if you really want to try something from Redken's bond building line, I think it's enough to use either the pre-shampoo treatment, the conditioner, or the leave-in conditioner. I have tested Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo, concentrate conditioner, and concentrate Leave-in treatment together. Easy to distribute in my long and thick hair and makes it easy to brush. Mild pleasant scent. Hair becomes shiny and less frizzy, but gets greasy again quickly. I have been using Redken Acidic Bonding products for three weeks and started after I had just bleached and colored my hair at home. I can tell you that this product is amazing! It makes my hair so smooth and much less tangled. It feels moisturized and healthy. This product even helped get rid of trichorrhexis nodosa caused by hair coloring. I highly recommend it, especially for those who color their hair or have dry or damaged hair. I got to try this product line through Smartson in exchange for an honest review. I liked the feeling the shampoo left in my hair; it became soft and shiny, and I noticed it took longer for my hair to get greasy again. Super positive! The shampoo is also concentrated and smells really good. Great! Unfortunately, I found that my scalp, which is quite sensitive, became red and dry, so I didn’t use the shampoo as many times as I had hoped. Gives good shine
The first thing I noticed was that the hair became much softer and shinier immediately after application. The curls looked more defined and the frizz was noticeably less.
