A little uncertainty before I start with it!
I'm going to Asia in 4 weeks, is it smarter for me to start using this after the trip? I have dry and sensitive skin, with pigmentation spots from previous acne and occasional issues with hormonal breakouts. I use SPF 50, but I'm wondering what is best, should I wait to use it until after the trip or can I take it with me on the trip but continue to be careful with SPF?213 viewsto leave a comment - 1 weekverified customer
World's best retinol serum!
I have sensitive and combination skin. Dry so I flake around my eyes, lips, and under my nose. Oily on cheeks, forehead, and chin with a slight tendency to break out in pimples. This retinol works great for me. Fragrance-free, gentle, but makes a difference☀️ Doesn't dry out, but keeps pimples away. Plus, I get incredibly smooth skin from it. I really miss it now that I'm pregnant☀️205 viewsto leave a comment - 1 week
Night Cream
I warmly welcome tips on which night cream to use after this 🙏🏻 My skin: pigment changes and often outbreaks of my urticaria. Dry to combination skin.187 viewsto leave a comment It’s not possible to upload a review
I have now tried to upload a review for this product for a week, both in the app and on the website, with and without pictures.... In the app, a message comes up saying "something went wrong", on the website a red cross appears. I have never experienced this before, at first I thought there was something wrong that day, but it has continued in the same way. Why??7 likes1223 views- 1 monthI usually have problems getting a notification that, for example, Lyko has posted something. When I go to that notification, I end up on a completely empty page. Or yeah, everything looks normal except that there isn't a single product image or text. Very annoying, I get curious 😂1 likes

Question
Hi, how should you use this for a week in conjunction with exfoliation? Should you split it up, and how?1076 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Jonna If you’re using an exfoliating product like a BHA or AHA, use it on the days you’re not applying A-Game. For example, exfoliate on Monday, use retinal on Tuesday. It’s good if you apply A-game, which contains retinal, in the evening as it makes the skin extra sensitive to sunlight. Don’t forget to use a moisturizing cream to avoid drying out the skin after these products Regardless, it’s good to use sunscreen Have it BEST! ❤️

Usage
Can you use this under the eyes?1170 views- I would say it completely depends on your tolerance. Personally, I have no issues at all with having this under my eyes. This version isn't that strong either, and I think it could work even for a beginner, but start cautiously a couple of times a week if that's the case. There are many eye creams that contain retinol and retinal (like this one), so it's not a no-no in that sense 😊 But as I said, be careful if you're sensitive or a beginner with retinol/retinal. Good luck!

Order in Routine
Hey! Should you only apply this to your face in the evening and not put on any other cream afterwards? How often should you use this at the beginning? And should you have another one for the eyes?2067 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey Sanna! 🤍👋 This cream should primarily be used before a moisturizer for the best results. 🤍 It should be gradually incorporated into your skincare routine, especially if you haven't used retinoids before. Start by applying the cream 2-3 times a week and gradually increase to daily use if your skin tolerates it well. 😃 When it comes to using it around the eyes, you should be careful as the skin there is thinner and more sensitive. It is recommended to apply the product to the area around the eyes only if your skin can tolerate it, and to avoid getting too close to the lash line and eyelid 💖 Take care! 🤍

Geek & GorgeousA-Game 5 Retinal Serum 30 ml
A silky, lightweight emulsion containing a medium-strength amount of retinal to help against all signs of ageing while being gentle on the skin.
Retinal is the "big brother" molecule of the better known anti-aging superstar, retinol. While retinol needs two metabolic conversion steps to reach the active form, retinoic acid, retinal is the direct precursor only one conversion step away from the active form the skin cells understand. It is estimated that retinal can convert more than 10x more efficiently to retinoic acid than retinol, making retinal an outstandingly effective member of the retinoid family (vitamin A family).
Once converted, retinal helps the skin cells to produce more collagen and other structural elements, making the skin more youthful, firm and elastic. It also speeds up the renewal process of the upper skin layers making it smoother and more even. A-Game is a smart-aging must-have, but it is also useful as an adjacent product for fading pigmentation, as well as helping acne-prone skin.
In terms of strength and knowledge, Geek & Gorgeous would compare their 0.05% retinal serum to the strength and knowledge of a 0.5% retinol product but with less irritation potential and possibly quicker results.
Cruelty-free | Vegan | Fragrance & Essential oil free | Gluten-free
Suitable for anyone who is looking to try out Retinal in their skincare routine. However the texture of this product is more suitable for combination and oily skin.
💘 Why we love it: This product is really a fantastic introduction to reducing skin damage such as pigmentation, wrinkles and lack of glow. Its silky formula is not drying and quickly gives results.
Perfect for: If you are looking to start using a retinoid - start here. Great for acne, wrinkles, pigmentation and over all skin health.
Texture: Yellow light weight cream.
Scent: No fragrance or perfume, smells of nothing.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Retinal (0.05%): An anti-aging superstar ingredient that is the direct precursor of retinoic acid (the active form that the skin cells understand) and shows an outstanding activity/tolerance ratio among topical retinoids.
Allantoin & Panthenol: A classic ingredient duo known for their skin soothing and skin protecting abilities.
Biosaccharide Gum-1: A carbohydrate molecule that has nice skin soothing and moisturizing abilities and makes A-Game even more gentle and silky.
Use:
Apply a pea sized amount to face in the PM! In your evening routine, apply liquid and gel-type products first (for example a toner or other serums) then A-Game. Follow with a moisturiser. Wear a sunscreen SPF 30 or higher in the morning.
If your skin is sensitive, start using A-Game every other day and if well-tolerated, move up to every evening in two weeks. You can try using A-Game around the eye area, but pay attention not to rub it into your eyes.
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding!
Good to know: A-Game has a bright yellow color due to the retinal in it. Based on our experience, it dissipates on the skin and does not leave a yellow tint on surfaces.
