The OrdinaryRetinoidsGranactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion 30 ml
A Stable Emulsion of Next-Generation Forms of Retinoid.
This formulation combines two forms of next-generation retinoid actives in a combined concentration of 2% by weight.
These two actives are:
a) Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate is a highly-advanced form of retinoid which is, in fact, a non-prescription ester of all-trans direct retinoic acid that offers a multi-fold better effect against signs of ageing than retinol, retinyl palmitate and nearly all other forms of non-prescription retinoid;
b) a sustained-delivery form of pure retinol in a protective capsule system which supports both the delivery and the effect of Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate.
Both forms of retinoid used avoid the irritation associated with retinoid (including retinol) use while delivering better visible results against signs of ageing.
Use:
Apply a few drops to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Use sun protection in the AM.

Gillar dennna retinol väldigt mycket, den gör sitt jobb och känns inte kletig eller obekväm på huden. #lykoreview8 likes7666 views jasmin

Hey! What is actually the difference between this and, for example, Retinol 0.2% in Squalane? I bought it and understood that I should increase to 0.5 later. But is this product actually 2% on the same scale? d :) regards314 viewsEmma
Customer service at Lyko1 weekHey Emma! 👋🤩 Granactive Retinoid 2% is milder and less irritating than pure retinol, making it gentler and a good alternative for sensitive skin or those who haven't used retinoids before.🤩 Retinol 0.2% is a mild concentration of pure retinol but can cause more irritation than granactive retinoid. When using retinol, it can be good to start with a low concentration and gradually increase. 🤭 Yes, you can gradually increase to a higher concentration, such as 0.5% retinol or a higher concentration of granactive retinoid. But since granactive retinoid is milder than pure retinol, you need to gradually acclimate your skin if you increase to Retinol 0.2% in Squalane. Take care! 🌠

1 weekGood product but skeptical about the alcohol
Since this contains Cetearyl Alcohol, which my skin tends to break out from, I've noticed lately after using this & Cerave Pm moisturizer that also contains it (comes from coconut, I understood, my skin doesn't like that) but I thought about switching to the retinol variants since I saw they don't contain it. I've been using this for maybe 1 month now, gradually increasing, my skin handles it fine except for breakouts, but it could have been Cerave Pm as well or both, but can I start with Ordinary retinol 0.5% & gradually increase on that or do I have to start with 0.2% which feels a bit like a step back from what I've been using now?317 viewsBella

Can this be used together with Ida Warg Ultra-Hydration Blue Tansy Oil?1297 viewsOttilia
Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Stina There shouldn't be any problems using this together with Ida Warg Blue Tansy Oil, but the skin can become a bit more sensitive when using retinol, so remember to pay attention to how your skin reacts and introduce retinol slowly Take care!

2 monthsSunspots
Hey, I've heard that retinol is good for existing sunspots/pigmentation spots on the face and I'm wondering if this product is recommended to prevent this issue.1160 viewsMaria L.
Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey there! You are absolutely right! Retinol has the very nice properties of reducing pigmentation. So yes, it definitely helps ❤️ Something that is important when using retinol is SPF during the day, to reduce the appearance of new pigmentation. Take care!

Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHello there Klara!👋🏻 Great question, and there shouldn't be any problem using these together 😍 but we always recommend doing a patch test before the first use for safety's sake🤭 Take care!💖

My skin type: dry/dehydrated, sensitive, and eczema Age: 29 I have been using retinol for a long time, but chose to switch to retinoid as I have read that these cause fewer irritations, like red and tight skin, etc. compared to retinol. I have been using this for almost two months, and I have about 1/3 of the bottle left. I am actually super satisfied! My skin has not reacted negatively to this at all! I use it as often as every third day in my evening routine. So far, the biggest improvement I have seen is that I have gotten a much more even skin tone and skin texture. Considering stepping up to 5% next time. I will definitely buy this again 😊👋🏻 Note! Use sunscreen during the day when using this ❤️1 likes905 viewsMathilda
