Which retinol?
Hi! I have been using Cerave’s resurfacing retinol for 1.5 years. I have perceived it as very mild. What is the next step? Is this one I should switch to or another? I am 26 years old by the way, if that matters 😅Translated from swedish
661 views- Customer service at Lyko1 weekHey Sanna 😊👋 Yes, if you want to take the next step in your retinol journey, this one from The Ordinary could be a good option 🥰 Just remember to introduce the new product gradually. All the best!

What order
Hi, I just ordered this, but I'm wondering how to use it in my skincare routine? Right now I'm using toner and face cream after washing, should this go on before or after either of them?Translated from swedish
855 views- Customer service at Lyko3 weeksHey! 👋😀 Then you can check out this order 👇 Cleansing 🧼 Toner (if it’s hydrating) Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (a few drops, massage in) Face cream 🧴 (locks in moisture) Use only in the evening, as retinoids make the skin more sensitive to the sun. SPF during the day is a must to protect the skin. Start using it 2-3 times a week and gradually increase if your skin tolerates it. Hope that helps! 🥰✨2 likes

What is the next step?
Hi! I have been using this for a few months now and I’m wondering which one I should go for next. Should I buy the same but in 5%, so ”Granactive Retinoid 5%” or should I buy ”Retinol 0.2% in Squalane”?Translated from swedish
1 likes792 views- Customer service at Lyko3 weeksHey Vera! I would recommend Granactive Retinoid 5% as the next step. Make sure to acclimate your skin to the new strength and start with 1 night a week and slowly increase to more nights 😍 Good luck and take care! ✨1 likes

Gets pimples
I wish I could use this serum as I would benefit from its advantages. But unfortunately, I only get pimples after a few days of use.Translated from swedish
2082 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Ida Hopefully, you can actually benefit from this product's advantages if you give it a little more time What can happen when introducing new skincare is that a detox process begins. This means that the skin cleans away old residues, so when you start using new products, the skin takes care of this "restorer" by itself. Reactions like pimples, dryness, or slight redness on the skin are completely normal but can be annoying, of course. But hang in there! This is a cleansing process that happens at the beginning and can last for a few weeks before the product delivers the results it should Fingers crossed that it just needs a little more of your time!

Red cheeks
I have tried this, but my cheeks turn red and feel burning. Can't I use it for my sensitive skin or how can I get used to it? I am 43 and have sensitive skin and have tried to use it about every three days.Translated from swedish
4 likes2554 views- Employees at Lyko2 monthsHey Maria! If your skin reacts with redness and stinging from this product, you can try these tips 🤖 Reduce usage: Start with once a week and gradually increase. 🤖 Moisturizer first: Apply a moisturizing cream before and after the retinoid. 🤖 Small amount: Use only a pea-sized amount for the entire face, avoiding sensitive areas. 🤖 Damp skin: Apply the retinoid on damp skin for extra protection. 🤖 Protect the skin: Use SPF 30-50 daily and strengthen the skin with soothing products like ceramides and panthenol. Take care!1 likes

Azelaic acid
Can I use this together with azelaic acid from The Ordinary, and in what order? I am 47 and would love to receive tips if there is anything else to add to my routine, which currently only includes azelaic acid, moisturizing cream, and cleansing.Translated from swedish
2023 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey Lisa! Yes, it works really well to use them together. Make sure to gradually introduce your skin to the new combination to reduce irritation Something I recommend adding to your routine is a peeling! Here’s a tip lyko.com/sv/dermalogica/dermalogica-daily-microfoliant-13g Take care!

The OrdinaryRetinoidsGranactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion 30 ml
A Stable Emulsion of Next-Generation Forms of Retinoid.
This formulation combines two forms of next-generation retinoid actives in a combined concentration of 2% by weight.
These two actives are:
a) Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate is a highly-advanced form of retinoid which is, in fact, a non-prescription ester of all-trans direct retinoic acid that offers a multi-fold better effect against signs of ageing than retinol, retinyl palmitate and nearly all other forms of non-prescription retinoid;
b) a sustained-delivery form of pure retinol in a protective capsule system which supports both the delivery and the effect of Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate.
Both forms of retinoid used avoid the irritation associated with retinoid (including retinol) use while delivering better visible results against signs of ageing.
Use:
Apply a few drops to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Use sun protection in the AM.
