Salicylic acid can also be referred to as BHA and is used in skin care primarily as an exfoliating ingredient. The acid effectively dissolves clogged pores while having anti-inflammatory properties. Because it is more active on the skin surface itself, it smooths out fine lines and reduces the visibility of pigmentation and scars.

What super ingredients are found in Neutriherbs - Salicylic Acid Purifying Gel Cleanser?

Stephania Tetranda extract comes from dried roots of stephania tetrandra. The main chemical component is tetrandrine; it is a kind of bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid. Tetrandrine has a wide spectrum of anti-inflammatory effect. It can also inhibit all aspects of the inflammatory response.
Salicylic acid is a so-called beta hydroxy acid and is also referred to as BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid). In skin care, salicylic acid works primarily as an exfoliating ingredient. It allows dry & old skin cells to release, fall off and leave room for new, healthy skin. Salicylic acid effectively dissolves blockages and can prevent acne, while also acting as an anti-inflammatory. The salicylic acid is large molecular, which means that it does not penetrate the skin so deeply, but works more on the skin's surface, where it can even out fine lines, soften the skin's structure and erase hyperpigmentation or scars. Salicylic acid is fat-soluble, which allows it to penetrate the pores and dissolve accumulations of old skin cells and sebum. Therefore, salicylic acid is better to use on oily skin or combination skin with open and closed blackheads to dissolve sebum plugs that can lead to inflammation in the skin and to balance sebum production. Salicylic acid also acts as an anti-inflammatory, making it a good choice for skin with rosacea or inflamed acne. First-time use of acid, regardless of which, should always begin gradually to acclimate the skin.

Use:
Cleanse the skin every morning and evening.
Apply a small amount of the gel to wet hands, close your eyes and massage it into the skin of the face in circular motions.
Finally, rinse your face with warm water (not hot water!) and gently dry with a towel. The gel will leave the skin fresh and calm.
ATTENTION!

Skin irritation and dryness are more likely to occur if you use another acne product at the same time. If this occurs, use only one at a time.

Do not apply to damaged skin. Irritation can be reduced by using the product less often.
