  Could this be good?

  Hi! I've been wanting to introduce retinol into my skincare routine for a while. I have combination skin: some areas with surface oil that can contribute to my skin becoming oily, slightly acne-prone skin, as well as small "bumps" and uneven skin tone. Right now, I wash my face in the evening with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, follow up with a moisturizing toner from Excuviance or Cosrx, The Ordinary's Salicylic Acid 2%, and Dr Ceuracle Hyal Reyouth Night Cream. Would this retinol serum from CeraVe work in my evening routine and help with acne and unevenness, and where in the steps would it fit in? ☺️

Generally, a skin cell renewal cycle can take about 4-6 weeks, so most products NEED AT LEAST a month to show noticeable results. Give it time and be consistent! 😊❤

  Hi! My son uses it as he has a lot of acne on his face. As I understand it, one should use a day cream with SPF afterwards to protect the skin. Do you have any good recommendations for a day cream for a teenager with a lot of acne that is good to use on top of this?

  Hi, If we use this product after cleansing the skin, can I/should I apply hyaluronic acid serum before this retinol serum? And then a moisturizer on top of the retinol?

    Hey Jasmine! Since this is a serum for the evening, I would recommend using a cream afterwards. If you don't want it to feel too much on your skin, I would suggest a water-based cream.   Skincare Routine

  I’m currently using Haruharu oil cleanser, La roche-posay effaclar cleansing gel, and kiehls ultra facial cream in the evenings, can get quite dry skin sometimes but this routine works pretty well. I want to minimize my pores and wonder if I can start introducing this slowly into my routine? :)

  See no difference :(

  I was so excited to try this, but I've been using it for a little over two months now and see no results at all :( I've followed all the instructions on how to use it and thought my skin might look liiite better now - but honestly, I really see no difference. A bit disappointed :/ One plus is at least that I thought it would dry out my sensitive skin, but it didn't!

  Hi! I have mature (42 years), combination skin that easily gets blemishes (though significantly less with the products I use now). I use in my evening routine: Cerave blemish control cleanser, bioderma sebium micellar water, paulas choice 2% bha exfoliant, the ordinary niacinamide 10% and Cerave blemish control gel. This works well. In the morning Cerave blemish control cleanser Nip+fab vitamin c serum, Lumene flow moisturizer, Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Circle Eye Cream. (+spf during the summer) My question is: when in the routine can I fit in my Retinol serum?😊

    Hey Hanne 👋😃 Since this serum should not be used in the same routine as products with high concentrations of AHA and BHA acids, it should not be used together with Paula's Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant or Cerave Blemish Control Gel. I would therefore recommend structuring your routine so that you use Paula's Choice and CeraVe Blemish Gel about 4-5 evenings a week and 2-3 evenings a week you use your CeraVe Retinol Serum. When you use your retinol serum, you can use another moisturizer without active ingredients 🤗 Remember to introduce the retinol serum slowly so that your skin can adjust, and pause usage if irritation occurs 🤍 All the best! ✨
