Works
I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, morning and night, and I can see a difference. Fewer breakouts have appeared and my skin feels better. #lykoreview - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5

Milia
Hi! I've read that retinol is good if you have milia. Is this effective against it? And can you use this under the eyes, because that's where I have milia. I also use Elixir Niactil. Can this be combined with that?248 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 weekHey Mikkel! Yes 👍 – it’s great to combine retinol with niacinamide (niactil). In fact, it’s a very common and skin-friendly combination because: ✔ Niacinamide can soothe and strengthen the skin ✔ Retinol can work on cell renewal ✔ Niacinamide can help with any irritation from retinol Just be careful: ✨ Start slowly if you’re new to retinol – for example, every other night ✨ Give your skin time to get used to the combination Have a lovely day ahead💌

Which sunscreen?
Hi! It says to use sunscreen with the product, how high of an SPF is needed? Does it need to be used now even during the winter months? Can you use face cream with SPF in it? Best, Ellen 🩷358 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 weekHey Ellen! 😊 When using retinol, it's important to have sun protection, so go for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30-50. For extra safety, I recommend SPF 50. And yes, you need sun protection even during the winter months, as UV radiation is present year-round, even on cloudy days. It is absolutely fine to use a face cream with SPF, as long as it is broad-spectrum. Just remember to apply a generous amount, about two finger lengths for the face, and do it as the last step in your morning routine. If you're outside for a long time, don't forget to reapply! Wishing you a lovely day! 🩷

Pretty okay!
I've been using this serum for 2 months. I expected better results than I've gotten. I'm still getting some pimples and have a bumpy forehead, so it hasn't magically gotten rid of my skin issues - but it hasn't made my skin worse either. All in all, a pretty okay serum, but it doesn't work as well for everyone.2523 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
CeraVe resurfacing retinol serum
I have been using CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum for a few weeks and I am really impressed. The serum has a light, silky consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin without feeling sticky. It is fragrance-free and very gentle, making it suitable for sensitive skin. After regular use, I have noticed that my skin texture has become smoother and that marks from pimples have gradually faded. The retinol is encapsulated, which means that the skin does not get irritated, while still providing visible results. I also appreciate that the serum contains niacinamide and ceramides, which help to soothe the skin and strengthen the skin barrier. A big plus is that the product does not clog pores and is well-suited for acne-prone skin. For the price, this is a very effective and reliable retinol serum that delivers results without drying out the skin. Highly recommended for anyone looking to start with retinol or improve skin texture and tone in a gentle way! #lykkomissioN2288 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 5 out of 5verified customer

Combine
Hey! I use Paula's Choice BHA toner every evening, along with Emma S Niacamide & Acos Night balancing cream mixed with Acos moisturizing serum. Is Cerave's Retinol serum recommended only for nighttime, or can I use it during the day when I use Paula's Choice BHA toner in the evening? Or how can I best incorporate it into my skincare if I still want to continue using the toner from Paula's Choice but still want to try Cerave's Retinol? Thanks in advance! 😍🙏🏼1829 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Natalie (nice name you have😊) Thank you for your question✨ CeraVe Retinol serum is only recommended for nighttime. Since you are already using Paula's Choice BHA toner in the evening, it might be best to alternate your evenings: use BHA one evening and retinol another, which will reduce the risk of irritation. You can continue using moisturizers and niacinamide as usual. Don't forget sunscreen during the day either. Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day💫

Cream in combination with the product
Hi! I'm considering trying this product but want to make sure first if my current cream works in combination with the product. I use La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Cream. If my cream doesn't work to apply after using this retinoil product, what would you recommend for a person with dry/sensitive skin?1673 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Agnes😊 Thank you for your question✨ It's completely right to double-check when you feel uncertain! Your La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Crème works well to use after CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum. Retinol can be a bit drying at first, so it's perfect to follow up with a mild and barrier-strengthening cream like yours. Feel free to introduce the serum slowly, e.g. 1-2 evenings a week, and ease in. Also, feel free to do a patch test first to see how your skin reacts to this, as tolerance varies greatly from person to person depending on skin type. This serum is a good beginner serum and can work well for dry and sensitive skin like yours, but it's always best to be cautious. Don't forget sunscreen during the day! I hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day💫1 likes

Stretchmarks
Hey! Could this reduce the appearance of stretchmarks? If not, do you have any recommendations?1418 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Linnéa😊 Thank you for your question✨ CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum can help improve skin texture and make newer stretch marks somewhat less visible over time, but it does not remove them completely, especially not older or white marks. Instead, I recommend products that are specifically designed for this. Here are some suggestions: lyko.com/sv/hagi/hagi-mama-natural-anti-stretch-mark-balm-pregnancy---after-birth-200-ml lyko.com/sv/lip-intimate-care/lip-intimate-care--stretch-mark-cream-100-ml lyko.com/sv/clarins/clarins-body-partner-stretch-mark-expert-175-ml I hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day💫2 likes
