Works
I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, morning and night, and I can see a difference. Fewer breakouts have appeared and my skin feels better. #lykoreview9 likes12070 viewsto leave a comment - 3 days
Age
Can I use this if I'm 16 years old? I've heard a lot about not using retinol before you're over 20.. and does this help with acne?Translated from norwegian

474 views- Customer service at Lyko5 daysHi there! 👋 This retinol serum is recommended for use once a day, once your skin has gotten used to it🙌 If you're new to retinol, it's a good idea to start with a few times a week🫧🤍 A great tip is to use it in the evening and apply sunscreen during the day🌞 Take care!

Effective gentle retinol
This retinol has worked so well for my skin! I find it gentle on my (at least during the winter) sensitive skin that tends to acne. My skin has become smoother and I get fewer breakouts compared to before. A full score, in other words! 🌷Translated from swedish

Switching Retinol
I started using this retinol maybe a year ago but have been without it since May-24. I saw some improvement in my skin but I'm going to start with retinol again and wonder if I should go with this one again or if I should try something a little stronger. I had no issues with this when I started using it in terms of stinging or anything like that! So I'm looking for a good beginner retinol that is a bit stronger than this :)Translated from swedish
2010 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Emelie! 👋😊 You can definitely go back to this one as it is very gentle on the skin, otherwise maybe you want to try something stronger like this one from the ordinary, it contains retinoid, which is a different composition of retinol that is equally effective but with minimal irritation 😍 lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-granactive-retinoid--2-emu Or if you want something stronger anyway, but containing the gentle retinoid 😍👇 lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-granactive-retinoid-5-in-s Take care! 🥰1 likes

New to retinol
Hey! I've seen and received many recommendations for this as the first retinol. What I don't understand is when I should apply my regular serum (hyaluronic acid) since this is a serum? Do I apply it before or after? Grateful for an answer! 🥰😍Translated from swedish
1 likes1786 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Lova! 👋🤍 Oh so fun that you want to try retinol! Apply hyaluronic acid on slightly damp skin. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture and helps the skin stay hydrated, which can reduce the risk of retinol drying out the skin 🙌 Wait a minute for the hyaluronic acid to sink in and apply the Retinol Serum. Since it is encapsulated retinol and contains soothing ingredients like niacinamide, it is gentler than some other retinol products. Then finish with a moisturizing cream to lock in moisture and strengthen the skin barrier 💧 Use retinol in the evening and don’t forget to always use SPF during the day, as retinol makes the skin more sensitive to the sun. Start by using it 2-3 times a week and gradually increase if your skin can handle it 😊✨ Take care 🥰2 likes

Could this be good?
Hi! I've been wanting to introduce retinol into my skincare routine for a while. I have combination skin: some areas with surface oil that can contribute to my skin becoming oily, slightly acne-prone skin, as well as small "bumps" and uneven skin tone. Right now, I wash my face in the evening with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, follow up with a moisturizing toner from Excuviance or Cosrx, The Ordinary's Salicylic Acid 2%, and Dr Ceuracle Hyal Reyouth Night Cream. Would this retinol serum from CeraVe work in my evening routine and help with acne and unevenness, and where in the steps would it fit in? ☺️Translated from swedish
