Works
I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, morning and night, and I can see a difference. Fewer breakouts have appeared and my skin feels better. #lykoreview9 likes9860 viewsto leave a comment - 2 days
What order?
Hi, If we use this product after cleansing the skin, can I/should I apply hyaluronic acid serum before this retinol serum? And then a moisturizer on top of the retinol?1 likes411 views- Customer service at Lyko6 hoursHi there! Thanks for your question 🥰 You can use hyaluronic acid serum under the product, but let it absorb properly before applying this retinol serum 😊 Then a nice moisturizer as the last step 🧴🫧 Wishing you a wonderful day!1 likes

Moisturizer
Hey! Do you need to use a moisturizer before or after this? I have oily skin, so I prefer not to use too many creams at the same time.Translated from swedish
2042 views- Customer service at Lyko1 weekHey Jasmine! Since this is a serum for the evening, I would recommend using a cream afterwards. If you don't want it to feel too much on your skin, I would suggest a water-based cream. Skincare Routine
I’m currently using Haruharu oil cleanser, La roche-posay effaclar cleansing gel, and kiehls ultra facial cream in the evenings, can get quite dry skin sometimes but this routine works pretty well. I want to minimize my pores and wonder if I can start introducing this slowly into my routine? :)Translated from swedish
2133 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHey! Oh what a lovely routine you have! 😍 You can definitely start using this slowly. But if you feel that it’s just pores and dryness you want to work on, I would instead recommend a peeling. Here are tips for a fantastic peeling you can use every evening 👇 lyko.com/sv/dermalogica/dermalogica-daily-microfoliant-13g So good! Make sure to dissolve the grains so you get a foamy cleansing feel from it 😍 Take care!2 likes

See no difference :(
I was so excited to try this, but I've been using it for a little over two months now and see no results at all :( I've followed all the instructions on how to use it and thought my skin might look liiite better now - but honestly, I really see no difference. A bit disappointed :/ One plus is at least that I thought it would dry out my sensitive skin, but it didn't!Translated from swedish

Combine products
Hi! I have mature (42 years), combination skin that easily gets blemishes (though significantly less with the products I use now). I use in my evening routine: Cerave blemish control cleanser, bioderma sebium micellar water, paulas choice 2% bha exfoliant, the ordinary niacinamide 10% and Cerave blemish control gel. This works well. In the morning Cerave blemish control cleanser Nip+fab vitamin c serum, Lumene flow moisturizer, Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Circle Eye Cream. (+spf during the summer) My question is: when in the routine can I fit in my Retinol serum?😊Translated from swedish
2490 views- Customer service at Lyko3 weeksHey Hanne 👋😃 Since this serum should not be used in the same routine as products with high concentrations of AHA and BHA acids, it should not be used together with Paula's Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant or Cerave Blemish Control Gel. I would therefore recommend structuring your routine so that you use Paula's Choice and CeraVe Blemish Gel about 4-5 evenings a week and 2-3 evenings a week you use your CeraVe Retinol Serum. When you use your retinol serum, you can use another moisturizer without active ingredients 🤗 Remember to introduce the retinol serum slowly so that your skin can adjust, and pause usage if irritation occurs 🤍 All the best! ✨1 likes

How many percent does this contain Retinal?
Is this the same, weaker, or stronger than the one from TO? lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-retinal-02--emulsion-15-mlTranslated from swedish
1981 views- Skin therapist at Lyko3 weeksHey Amanda! This contains no retinal but 0.3% encapsulated retinol and is a gentler product (good for those starting with retinol) and focuses on dark marks/pigmentation after acne. TOs are very strong in comparison and made for experienced users of retinoids, focus on anti-aging. Take care 🤍3 likes

Question about usage
Hi, I have never used retinol before, but I was thinking of starting with this one because it’s supposed to be good and a bit milder, so it’s good to start with 🙂 Currently, I’m using Beauty of Joseon glow serum Niacinamide + propolis morning and night and La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ as a spot treatment in the evening. Is it okay to combine this serum with those products? I was thinking of using retinol in the evening and starting to use it about 2 times a week and slowly acclimating my skin to it. Does that sound right? I have combination skin and get a bit of redness and small pimples now and then.Translated from swedish
1829 views- Customer service at Lyko3 weeksHey Beatrice! Oh how fun that you want to start with retinol ☺️ You are absolutely right that you should start by acclimating your skin to retinol, so you can start one night a week and slowly increase on the evenings ✨ I wouldn’t recommend you to use Beauty of Joseon glow serum Niacinamide + propolis and La Roche posay effaclar duo+ as spot treatment in combination with retinol. But they work great to use on the evenings you don’t have retinol. Good luck and take care! ✨1 likes

Strong
For my dry and acne-prone skin, it's too strong, I experienced intense itchy redness with regular use. However, the packaging is large and the cream is quite a lot, so I gave the product a chance. ☺️ #lykoreview1 likes2131 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHi Enna, Thank you for your review! 🩷 I’m sorry to hear that the product wasn’t suitable for your skin! ❣️ Retinol can cause dryness, redness, and irritation, especially in the early stages when the skin isn’t used to it! 😊 Skin sensitivity varies, and some people may experience these side effects more intensely than others. Retinol is also incompatible with some other ingredients, such as exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA), and combining these can increase the product's irritability 🤔 This product has a slightly lower retinol concentration (0.1%), so if you still want to try retinol, this might be a more suitable option for your skin! lyko.com/fi/cosrx/cosrx-the-retinol-0.1-cream-20-ml Have a lovely day! 🤍1 likes

Usage
Can this be used together with anua cleansing oil, tirtir Milk skin toner Light, centella poremizing fresh ampoule, and soonjung hydro barrier cream?Translated from swedish
2240 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Lisa There shouldn't be any problem combining this product with your current routine If you haven't used retinol before, I recommend slowly introducing the product. If you notice redness, peeling, or irritation, use retinol less often or pause until your skin calms down. TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner Light contains niacinamide, sometimes the skin can become a bit irritated when combining niacinamide with retinol. Feel free to try this combination on a limited area of skin first to see how your skin reacts to the combination All the best!
