Works
I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, morning and night, and I can see a difference. Fewer breakouts have appeared and my skin feels better. #lykoreview8 likes6615 viewsto leave a comment - 2 weeks
Combine with Niactil
Can I combine this product with Elixir Cosmeceuticals, Niactil 4%?607 views- Skin therapist at Lyko2 weeksHey Linnea! There is niacinamide in this serum too (like in Niactil), so it depends on your skin, I would say, so it doesn't get too much. Best to first try on a smaller area and feel it out, especially when it comes to skincare from different lines that haven't been tested together. Good luck 🤞

Question
Hey, I just wanted to ask if you can use this product at the same time as the Inkey List salicylic acid cleanser? I use it once a week. How many times should you use this serum in a week?632 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHello! I wouldn't recommend using the cleanser in combination with the retinol serum as they can become irritating. I recommend using the cleanser once a day. You can gradually introduce the serum to your skin. Start with once a week in the evening and slowly increase the days Take care!

After a month of testing
I had been thinking for a long time about buying this product. Unfortunately, the % retinol is not listed in the ingredients, but since this is a product from CeraVe, I decided to purchase it. At first, I had breakouts on my face, but when introducing retinol, this can happen. This time, however, it has been very prolonged. I have been using the serum for 2 months, and it has stabilized over the last month. The packaging is very convenient, which is of course a plus for the product. The product absorbs nicely and has a mild scent. #lykoreview1 likes1589 viewsto leave a comment - 4 weeks
Retinols 2% The Ordinary
Hey! 🎄 I’m currently using The Ordinary retinols 2% but considering this one instead. My question is, is there any info on how much retinols are in this? I use the one I have now mainly to combat fine lines, but I got interested in this one because it contains more good ingredients. But I’m unsure if this one combats fine lines just as well? Thanks for the reply! ☺️1 likes1670 views- Customer service at Lyko3 weeksHey there Linda! 👋 This serum is a bit milder but should definitely work effectively against fine lines. The serum contains 0.3% encapsulated retinol but should also hydrate the skin nicely. 🥰 I would definitely recommend you try this if you have drier skin and are looking for more ingredients that are in this. 😁 Take care! 🌞1 likes

Better than expected
I bought this product to combat fine lines/early signs of aging. I wouldn't say it has done much for that, but I feel like my skin has become much smoother and clearer after just a week of use. I have dry problem skin, which is always bumpy and tends to get real internal issues. Since I started using this serum, my skin has been nicer than in a long time.1539 viewsto leave a comment - 1 month
Acids + retinol
Hey! ❤️ I’ve never used retinol before in my skincare routine, but I’m eager to start now. I’ve read that you shouldn’t mix e.g. AHA/BHA acids with retinol. But is it okay if I use retinol on the days I don’t use AHA/BHA acids, or do I have to completely exclude acids when using retinol, even if I don’t apply it every day? ☀️1317 views- Customer service at Lyko4 weeksHey Selma If you are new to retinol, you should start using it once a week and not use acids on the same day you use retinol, as both retinol and acids can be irritating on their own, it is recommended that you do not use them on the same day. If you want to use both, you can use acids in the evenings and retinol on another evening. Good luck

hej!
Can you use this if you have dry skin? Because I have very dry skin but I have pimples and pores all over my face, I don't want to dry my skin out too much.1722 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHello there Siri! 🤍👋 Since this retinol is a bit milder compared to others, it should also be suitable for a drier skin type. However, I would recommend you combine it with a moisturizing cream for the best results 🤩 Take care! 🤍

Usage
Hi! Should you use this in the morning and evening or just once a day? I find it so hard to know when it says “use daily” 😅2106 views- 1 monthAwesome, thanks! Can you use a good serum during the day instead? Preferably something that hydrates without making the skin oily? 😇

rosacea retanol
Hi, can I use this? I have rosacea and sensitive skin but no breakouts right now. I don't use any other products except for Finacea, which is prescription from my doctor for my rosacea. I also want something for around the eyes that shows lines and bags.2058 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Isabelle! How fun that you checked out this beauty! 🤩 This serum can be an effective alternative for evening out skin tone and reducing the visibility of scars and imperfections. But since you have sensitive skin and rosacea, retinol-based products are something you should use with caution. I would like to recommend that you take our skin test in the LYKO app! The ones who help you are trained and authorized skin therapists and pharmacists! 😍 You can find the test via this link lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan2 Take care!🤩

Help
Can this be combined with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner? :)2363 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 monthHey, great that you’re asking 😍 When using products with retinol, it’s very important that this is not combined with other products that contain active ingredients 👋 This is because retinol is such an active ingredient that it can quickly cause skin irritation if combined with, for example, glycolic acid or other acids. It’s also important to gradually introduce retinol products into your routine, so your skin has time to build up a tolerance 🤗 Start with 1-2 evenings a week and gradually increase usage over the next few months. Note! If you are under 25 years old, I recommend consulting a dermatologist before you start using a retinol product 😊 Wishing you a wonderful day ahead!
