I have had the honor of testing this along with 2 other products from face formula for a couple of weeks as #lykotestpilot. I tested this every day for 2 weeks. I have oily skin with a lot of redness and easily get pimples if I use the wrong products, which was clearly noticeable here🥲. It has a thick consistency and doesn’t really absorb into the skin the way I want😅. Unfortunately, it has been too heavy for my skin and caused me extra pimples. However, it sits nicely under makeup🫶. Good but expensive
I have had the honor of testing this along with 2 other products from face formula like #lykotestpilot for a couple of weeks, and I can already see some difference in how my skin feels😄. Pictures 2 and 3 are my skin before and after 3 weeks of use🫶 I have oily skin with a lot of redness and easily get pimples if I use the wrong products, but thankfully this worked without any problems☺️. It has a gel-like consistency and a smart dropper that I really liked. During use, I noticed that my pores became visibly smaller on my cheeks and that my redness decreased somewhat😍. It is very moisturizing, so when I used it together with a cream it became too heavy and I got pimples. On its own, however, it worked well. I had the honor of trying Nova Cream from Face Formula. My first impression is that it is very sleek. The gray and orange packaging gives a modern and clinical feel, and the bottle with its smooth pump feels extremely hygienic and easy to use. Already at first glance, you expect a really high-quality product. The product has a light consistency, but unfortunately, the experience was not entirely problem-free 🥲 When I applied it, I noticed that it tends to ball up on the skin (pilling), which makes it difficult to get an even application (especially if you want to wear makeup on top). Also, it only has SPF 30, while I personally always prefer SPF 50 on my face to get maximum and as safe sun protection as possible during the day. I have sensitive skin that easily breaks out or gets clogged when I use the wrong sunscreens. At the same time, I have high demands on my sunscreens because I want high protection (preferably SPF 50) and a formula that lays seamlessly on the skin without rolling or pilling when you apply it. Ingredient-wise, it does its job moisturizing and protecting the skin against both sun, blue light, and infrared radiation without causing new breakouts. However, the pilling effect during application and the fact that it only has SPF 30 lowers the overall rating for me, as I don’t quite get the finish or the high protection I prefer in my daily routine. Got the chance to try some skincare from Face Formula! And here is my review of their 2 in 1 Refining Cleansing Milk When I first received the product, I was struck by the clean and sleek design. The bottle has a practical pump that makes it easy and hygienic to dose. Already at first glance, it gives a luxurious and professional feel that makes it happy to be displayed on the bathroom shelf 🧴 Experience Using this cleansing milk is a very pleasant experience. I reeeally love the milk consistency!!! The formula feels soft and creamy on the skin without leaving any heavy or greasy residue. It works both as a gentle cleanser and a light enzyme peel when left on for 1-2 minutes! It also effectively removes my eye makeup without stinging the eyes, which is a big plus. I have combination skin that easily becomes dry on the surface during cooler seasons but at the same time quickly gets shiny areas and clogged pores if the cleanser is too heavy. Therefore, I always look for products that balance the skin without drying it out and that reduce excess sebum production without disturbing the skin barrier ☁️🧴🩷 The result after regular use these weeks has been fantastic. As a Lyko influencer tester, I got to try some skincare from Face Formula!😍 My first impression of Face Formula Blue Serum was that it felt like a really luxurious product. I really like the matte glass packaging that gives an exclusive impression. The serum has a light texture and feels very pleasant on the skin 💙 I use the serum after my regular cleansing and before moisturizer. The serum absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. I also think the product is economical and therefore lasts a long time. The scent is a bit special though and took some time to get used to. I use serum every day and have therefore tested quite a few different serums before. I think it’s important that a serum feels light on the skin while providing plenty of hydration. That’s why it was extra fun to try this product, especially since it’s a bit more expensive than the ones I usually use. After using the serum regularly, I really feel that my skin is more hydrated, softer, and has a nicer glow. I actually think I see clear results, which means I would definitely consider buying the product again. The only thing that makes me hesitate is the price, as it’s quite high. I have several chronic illnesses that make washing my hair painful, and I do it about every 5-7 days. I usually use a product to remove buildup on the scalp, shampoo twice, hair mask/moisturizing conditioner. After the hair has dried a bit, I use leave-in products that moisturize and strengthen the hair. Every night before I go to bed, I use a night serum for my hair before braiding it. I've tried the products several times now and can safely say they will become a regular part of my routine and the ones I'll take on trips. As usual, I used a product to remove buildup on the scalp, shampooed twice, and left the conditioner in the "ponytail." After the hair had dried a bit, I applied two pumps of the hair oil. Brushing the hair afterward went like a dream, and the hair looks very healthy and less frizzy and dry than it does with many other products. Light conditioner
I've been testing the entire volume series for quite some time now and really like all the products there. The conditioner is light and doesn't weigh down my hair like many other conditioners do. The hair feels airy afterward, and what strikes me about the whole series is how fresh the hair stays for several days after washing. The only thing I could wish for is a bit more moisture in the hair from the conditioner, but I usually solve that with a hair mask instead. The scent, like the other products, is mild and fresh with a hint of cucumber, I like that scent. The bottle is nicely designed, I like the purple theme of the Volume series. A total flop 👎
I was lucky enough to win this in a contest this summer. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have tried it. The first thing that strikes you is the packaging, which feels cheap and very plasticky. The packaging has a pump function that works well for TWO days, then the pump breaks. After that, I have to unscrew the lid every time I want to use the cream. It also works fine for a week or so before the whole lid cracks (as you can see in the picture). I don’t think I’ve ever used a cream before with such poor quality packaging as this one. It’s really below all criticism. The cream then?! Yes, unfortunately it also leaves a lot to be desired. It has a nice consistency, a bit thicker, absorbs quickly, and the skin feels moisturized. It’s lightly fragranced, which doesn’t bother me even though I’m sensitive to scents, but I would have preferred a completely fragrance-free cream. However, the cream itself has a big problem for me, and that is that it pills on the skin. It pills even over sunscreen, despite my favorite sunscreen normally working well over all creams I’ve tried before. It pills so much that it forms little rolls if I have foundation on top. I’ve tried three different types of foundation but the result is the same. The only time it doesn’t pill is if you wear it alone, but that hardly ever happens for me since I always wear sunscreen. I’m glad I didn’t buy it with my own money, otherwise I would have been very disappointed to have thrown my money away.
