New favorite!
Besides effective sun protection, my biggest priority for sunscreen is that it’s not sticky and doesn’t leave a thick layer behind. Previously, that was the reason I was careless with sun protection. Heliocare meets my requirements! It absorbs quickly into the skin, has a subtle but pleasant scent, and so far hasn’t stained any clothes. Was very positively surprised! The only downside is that it’s expensive, especially if there are several people in a family using it. I’m torn between giving it 4 or 5 stars because of that. Suitable for thin to medium hair thickness. Lasts for many years before they get “worn out.” I can wrap the tie around my hair about 3 times. Thin tie without metal. Never experienced them breaking. Got this in the mail recently and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by how summery it smells🤩 It starts off very fruity and after it has settled a bit, you can tell it becomes sweeter. I think this mist is a bit stronger than other mists, so you don't need to use more than one or two sprays to smell good. Less is more! (I applied a bit more the first time and it was way too much😂) Reminds me a lot of the newest summer perfume from Escada, but this one lasts better and longer! A cream that is THICK in consistency, moisturizes WELL and for a long time. Reapplication is unnecessary. Slightly sticky for about half an hour. Can feel like a zinc ointment for children in consistency. Brutally honest review
I tried Xlash Calming Eye Gels after looking like a substitute who sat on the bench through an entire football World Cup without getting a minute of sleep. The difference compared to Awakening Eye Gels is noticeable immediately. These don’t scream "UP AND AT 'EM!" Instead, they lean forward, put a hand on your shoulder, and say: "Hey, let’s take it easy instead. Breathe, we’ll sort this out." The ingredient list includes aloe vera, centella asiatica, and hyaluronic acid. In short, it feels like a Buddhist monk, a skincare therapist, and a glass of ice-cold water have started a retreat for my eyes. The cooling sensation is absolutely fantastic. I stored them in the fridge as I usually do with my eye gels, and when I put them on, it felt like someone pressed a giant "mute" button for the whole face. The brain was still stressed about everything I should do, but the skin had already gone on vacation. It felt like the area under my eyes had received the same treatment as a World Cup player after 90 minutes: ice bath, recovery, and a five-star rehab before the next match. And they stick just as well as the Awakening Eye Gels. You can walk around the house, tidy up, make coffee, and ponder life’s big questions without them sliding around like two wet slices of cheese. After use: 15 minutes later, the area under my eyes looked like it had been to a spa while the rest of my face was still waiting in line at reception. The swelling? Gone. The skin? Like it finally got a vacation after a whole season without a substitute. So now when I look in the mirror, I at least look like a person who has control over their life. A beautiful, large case, interesting and practical contents, and a price that’s easy to swallow all contribute to my overall satisfaction with this edition of the "box." I like it when there’s a large amount of makeup products inside. Besides mascara, blush, and lip products, we get skincare, body care, and hair care products. It’s quite a versatile set. No unnecessary fillers or one-time-use miniatures. I know I’ll use everything, which makes me very happy. However, I do see a small downside. The exact same mascara from IsaDora can be found in The Bday Kit box. I think products shouldn’t be duplicated for at least half a year, preferably never! Honestly, if this happens again, I’ll skip buying the next edition. I really love this hair oil from kerastase! 🤍 It makes my hair so soft and shiny without feeling greasy or heavy. I have used many bottles of Lanza’s lovely moisturizing mist, which is also a kind of leave-in conditioner. However, it has a very light texture, and I wanted something a bit more nourishing and detangling. Lanza’s detangling primer has met this need really well. The spray has a slightly thicker texture and effectively detangles knots. The detangling primer, like the moisturizing mist, has heat protection, which I give a big plus for.
