Very gentle on the hair, I would say it is pigmented but what sticks to the hands and nails is easy to remove. I have highlights in my hair and let it sit for 15 minutes, have done this about 2 times so far (once a week) and the result was so good. Even my lightest highlights got a cool tone without leaning towards purple. Even though I let it sit for 15 minutes, the hair still feels just as soft after the shower. It became a bit drier and tangled, which made it difficult to brush out the hair but nothing that changed the hair quality! Use a conditioner and/or hair mask afterwards. Essence Silky Blur Powder
I’m always on the lookout for good setting powders, and with dry skin, I’m looking for a thin powder that sets makeup nicely but doesn’t emphasize dry patches or change the tone of the base I have underneath. I was excited to test this powder, especially since it’s called “Silky Blur” – it must be a thin and silky powder, right? And yes, the skin really feels like silk. This powder is talc-free, and I thought maybe it would feel less drying on the skin. After application, the skin really looks airbrushed, but unfortunately, the effect is short-lived. After half an hour, the makeup has already started to separate, and I look very cakey. I also feel extremely dry in the skin. By the end of the day, the makeup looks very bad, and I look very oily. I don’t feel like this powder sets the makeup. I also noticed that my eyes seemed a bit irritated by this powder, and I could itch a little on my face. It should also be mentioned that it has a very strong scent, so that might be the cause. The powder has a pink/peach tone and is very brightening, which I think can be nice under the eyes but not on the rest of the face. I had to go over with more bronzer than usual to get some color back in my face. I've been using this for 1 week now and I have a feeling I'll never stop. My morning routine with this is: I keep these in the fridge, and after washing my face, I use half a pad (perfect for the whole face). I have been using products from L’Occitane for a long time, especially those in the amande/almond series – because the scent is heavenly! I have been wanting a perfume with this scent, and when I saw there was a body mist, the choice was extremely easy. Ordered immediately. And was not disappointed! Milkfoliant - Really nice and gentle peeling
I previously tried Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant and for me, it irritated my skin. I thought I would continue using it but not as often, but instead I bought this one. For me, it was a big improvement. I still see that the skin gets a glow and looks like it has fewer clogged pores BUT without any irritation!!! The skin feels soft afterwards.
