I love it, but it's not for everyone
I've used up several bottles of this and it's been amazing for my dry, frizzy, long and naturally wavy hair. It does have a very strong fragrance, so I understand why some people don't like it. It smells perfume-y, like sugared plums. A bit of an "old maid" fragrance, even though I personally love it. The scent does eventually fade, but I can imagine it's given a few people some migraines. The fragrance is the same as in Kevin Murphy's Hydrate Me series, but much stronger. I haven't noticed any kind of color correction from this product, as in getting rid of yellow tones. As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test the Sky High Mascara in the beautiful brown shade True Brown, and I just have to say... this mascara never disappoints! 😍🤎 I've actually been using Sky High since it came out in 2020, and it's still my number 1 mascara! ❤️ I've tried many others over the years, but always end up going back to this one. Usually, I only use waterproof mascara because I have very sensitive eyes🥹, so I was a bit curious about this one. But it really impressed me! 🤎 The color is so nice and natural, and it fits perfectly whether you're going to work, out to eat, or just want a softer look. What I love the most is that it gives long lashes with lots of lift, while keeping them looking nice all day long. 🫶🏼 A little tip from me if you want to avoid clumps: Use a clean brow brush and gently comb through your lashes both before and after applying the mascara. I have now tested the product for a couple of weeks and unfortunately am not very impressed, but I absolutely understand why others might like it! Perfect for both body & face
I use this in the shower as a "pre-wash" before I go in with a body wash. It makes the skin very smooth & soft. I find it a bit hard to get a good lather though, but it cleans well. I've also used it a few times on my face and it works well since I have dry & sensitive skin, so I don't dare to use just anything on my face. Definitely approved & will repurchase. Maybe Aussie products just don't suit me
The reviews were so good that I decided to try it even though Aussie has disappointed me before. Usually their products either completely dry out my hair or leave it really greasy, but this didn’t cause either or anything noticeably negative. But there was nothing groundbreaking here, I didn’t even find the scent particularly special even though many praised it. Very small size, no results. I have very dry and especially in summer atopy-prone skin on my face. Almost all makeup removers and cleansers have left a sticky, stiff feeling after use. Rubbing is unpleasant and sometimes it feels like I don’t get my makeup properly washed off, no matter how gentle or moisturizing they are. I usually start with a tissue pretty quickly after coming inside because it (especially now that it’s been so warm or like today when it rained) tends to run down on me. I can really sweat, as you can see in the picture. The tissue is mainly used to clean the face so the pores don’t get clogged. So, no focus on removing the mascara. I’ve used L’Oréal’s eyeliner on my eyebrows. The color is espresso. Maybe not the most common application, but it stays put like a rock and I think the color is suitable for that. Their mascara also works very well without smudging. Isadora’s eye stick stays put like a rock. I want more. So simple and good.
