Maybe my new favorite
I've gotten to try this primer from #estellethild for a few weeks now as #lykoinflutester, and I will need to test it a bit longer to decide if it's a 5-star or not. (Will update later!) ➕ It absorbs nicely and quickly, I rubbed the product into my fingertips and then applied it to my face. It actually felt a bit like a serum. ➕ A little goes a long way! ➕ It doesn't roll or flake off all my skincare underneath and makes my makeup last all day. ➕ It gives an incredible glow!! ➖ If you use too much, it can be a bit TOO much glow, like it has a metallic vibe? But that's both good and bad because it really creates a blue effect! In the picture, I only have the primer on so you can see how it looks alone. ➖ It smells kind of like mosquito repellent 🙈 I honestly don't understand why they chose to perfume it. That could have been skipped. ➖ A few pimples showed up after a few weeks of daily use. I usually don't get pimples and couldn't find any other culprit than this, but it could also be hormonal. Soooo I'm going to try pausing it for a while and then try again and will update on whether it actually was this that caused my pimples or not. Because I really like this primer and really want it to work!! It's actually nice just as it is, without any foundation or CC cream. I've gotten to try this lip oil from #estellethild for a few weeks now as #lykoinflutester! 💋 ➕ Nice packaging 💁🏼♀️ ➕ Moisturizes well ➕ Gives a nice shine, a little goes a long way ➖ Not a wow sensation directly, needs to be reapplied after eating or drinking (but that's the case with most oils) ➖ Can't say it gives a lot of color, could be a bit more pigmented. It's a bit stickier in texture than other lip oils I've tried, but I don't mind that. I've gotten to try this mascara from #estellethild for a few weeks now as #lykoinflutester, and I really like it! ➕ The color is super nice and not too dark. Love love love brown mascara! ➕ It separates incredibly well!! ➕ Super easy to apply! Since the formula is very light, you have time to build it up. ➖ It doesn't hold the lashes curled all day (but there aren't many non-waterproof mascaras that do on my stubborn lashes) ➖ It says it shouldn't flake, but some days it has actually flaked a little under my eyes (though I have an active life with 3 little kids, so that might play a part) I've still reached for this over my go-to (Idun's 37-degree brown mascara) since I first tried it because it's so easy to apply and gives a natural result where the lashes don't get too heavy. If they made a formula like Idun's that holds 37 degrees and can keep the curl all day, this would be my new favorite mascara. Finally something that works!
I have struggled with my scalp for as long as I can remember and have tried so many different products. I have also gone through treatments, but the problems always came back. This shampoo, however, has worked really well for me, and I am so happy to finally have found something that actually helps! I previously had the slightly wider model from Revlon and was very satisfied with it, so when the old one started to wear out, I had to try this one. I actually think this gives an even more defined and nice blowout than the previous one. The hair becomes smooth, airy, and gets more volume, and it’s so easy to get a nice result at home while it dries the hair. The only downside is that it’s a bit noisy, but since it dries the hair at the same time, I don’t really think it’s a big problem. I had to switch setting sprays because UD’s stopped working after a certain formula change, and Skindinavia’s setting spray totally makes my skin protest. I usually hesitate to add things to my skincare routine because I have extremely sensitive skin, but I read so many good things about this product that I had to try it. Savior for Oily Skin 🆘
This Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm Powder Radiant has been really lovely as a primer! I especially like that it leaves a beautiful glowy effect on the skin and makes the skin look more radiant. Some days, with this, my makeup stays really nice and the oiliness is well controlled, but sometimes the skin looks a bit too dry with this, even though my skin is oily. That's why I still want to test which products and what kind of base I get the best result with. I believe finding the right combination makes quite a difference here. However, I really like how this makes the skin look, and the product is also super economical! The best powder❤️
This Laura Mercier powder has been really good! It doesn’t look quite the same as other brands’ “transparent” powders in the container or when applied, but on the skin it blends perfectly and doesn’t leave visible powder residue. The best feature of the powder is definitely its really blurring effect. It makes the skin look immediately smoother and softer and nicely blurs pores and unevenness. The result looks polished but not too thick or dry matte. It also works really well with oily skin. It keeps shine and oiliness under control and the makeup base still looks neat throughout the day. I especially like that the powder not only looks good right after application but also lasts well all day. The powder is also very economical, so you don’t have to keep buying new ones all the time. I have started a "hair journey" to try to make my hair healthier. And have therefore chosen to try this kit! I have previously used the Repair series from Maria Nila. Unfortunately, it did not work at all for me. My hair type: - Formerly curly hair - Rarely use styling tools - Thin hair strands - Hair thickness: about the size of a 10 SEK coin. - Gets greasy quickly at the scalp (within a day), but very dry down to the ends. Regardless of season… regardless of shampoo/conditioner - Use a moderate amount of shampoo and conditioner on the ends. - No color/bleaching - In summer, the hair is exposed to harsh metals from my own well. And therefore loses a lot during this period. ________________________________________________ REVIEW OF: True Argan Oil: Was very skeptical about this, as oil often makes my whole hair greasy. So I often avoid it. This one, however, is the ((best)) I have tested so far! 🩵It sinks into the hair and leaves no residue or strange feeling! (Very unusual for me) 🩵It has so far not made my hair greasy 🩵It smells really good, a bit candy-like. 🩵The pump dispenses a good amount 🩵 I don’t even need to wash my hands after touching it!! Just tried holding it straight in my hand. And then "rub in." After five minutes, nothing remains, no stickiness, no residue!! Only scent. 🤩🥳 🩵The scent is not too strong for me like, for example, Wella Luminous reflective oil is. There is NOTHING bad to say about the product so far! Wow! ______________________________________________ My honest review of the shampoo: 🌟Incredibly good scent (In my opinion the best of all shampoos I have tried) 🌟 The consistency is normal and good! Regular shampoo consistency! 🌟Allergy-wise: I am very sensitive to scents, this shampoo was not a problem. ❗️Less good: The last two times I have needed to use a lot of shampoo for it to "be enough." Thought maybe it was due to "dirtier hair." Therefore tried a Garnier shampoo and poured a normal amount in my hand, massaged in and it covered much better. Hair was soaking wet, so I don’t know what the problem was. Sweet tooth 🍫🍬
First of all, the scent is really quite similar to Kayali’s Yum Boujee Marshmallow, but with the difference that Sweet Tooth is, to my nose, a bit sweeter and more chocolatey. I also detect a bit of coconut here, which adds its own little nuance to the scent. I would say this smells like sweet marshmallow, chocolate, and a slight hint of coconut. In my opinion, the scent is absolutely lovely overall! – girly, delicious, and soft. It’s not too strong or overpowering but just the right amount of soft and easily approachable sweet scent. 🤎 The longevity on my skin has been surprisingly good, and the scent has lasted a long time. If sweet scents are your thing, you will definitely like this! And I have to mention the bottle! Weak pigment. Relatively orange. 🥕 The price is also mid-range. The box is thick cardboard, mirror in the flip lid. The product is pressed into a half-sphere, where the product falls into the gap between the edge of the box and the product. Which makes it a mess in both makeup bag and purse. "Everyone shall get" has a completely different meaning… "EVERYTHING shall sparkle!" ✨ I’ve tried. Again, and again… Both as a bronzer on its own, as a light "topping" to NARS bronzer.
