Exciting properties, but my face rejected it immediately

This one is incredibly concentrated and you don’t need much product at all to cover the entire face. Which is a big plus! I absolutely understand the idea that it should exfoliate and renew cells to give the skin a new glow, but unfortunately my skin couldn’t handle it. Every time I applied it, I got an immediate tight, almost burning sensation in my face and the skin turned completely red. I tried to tough it out and reduce usage to just a few times a week, but my skin barrier reacted negatively every time. It gets three stars because the formula feels very advanced and high quality, and it probably works wonders for someone else. But if you know you have sensitive skin and easily react to exfoliation, I’d probably skip this one. Nice gel consistency that unfortunately triggered my skin

This felt so nice at first! I really appreciate the gel consistency, it felt super fresh, cooled pleasantly on the skin, and gave a really nice glow the first few days! At first, I thought I had finally found the perfect product. But then came the setback… After less than a week, my face started to flare up and I got lots of small, itchy irritation spots especially on my forehead, which took quite a long time and a lot of moisture to get rid of after I stopped using it. It’s so frustrating when a product feels so good at first but then just irritates the skin barrier after a while. Probably a great product if you have resilient skin that wants a lot of moisture, but for my sensitive skin, unfortunately, it’s not a keeper! #lykotestpilot #dermalogica #lykoreview #skincare

Lovely protection in theory, but too harsh for my face

I had very high expectations for this because Dermalogica usually delivers good products, and the idea of a day cream that has both anti-age and SPF 50 in one is really optimal! The texture itself is really lovely, it feels luxurious and absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving that typical white, greasy film you usually get from strong sunscreens. But unfortunately, my face reacted quite quickly. After just two days of use, I woke up with red patches, and it stung badly on my cheeks. It's probably the sunscreen filter or some other active ingredient that was just too strong for me. Such a shame for an otherwise nice cream, but if you have sensitive skin that easily gets irritated, I would recommend testing the product on a small area before using it on your entire face. #lykotestpilot #dermalogica #lykoreview #skincare

Favorite blush ❤️

I bought this for an important event when I was doing my own makeup and found that with almost every other blush, it often ended up too much color, no matter how little product I used. This product is buildable, and you can take your time to build exactly the color and intensity you want. The result is perfect. Because of the price, this isn’t a product I use every day, but as a luxury product for those days when it’s extra important that the makeup stays well, I can warmly recommend it ❤️ #lykoreview

Nice lip balm with SPF!

I got this in a Lyko Lovables in the shade 04 Summer Bronze. At first, I thought the color was way too dark for me and that I would give it away – but after a few rounds with self-tan mist that gave some color to my face and while looking for a lip product with SPF, I thought of this one. It has a very nice texture, just like a soft lip balm, and the color isn’t as dark as I had thought because it’s a bit translucent – more like a lip balm than a lipstick. It gives a nice and natural color to the lips so you feel appropriately made up, but not too much. I’ve been using it a lot at work lately, where I feel lipstick and lip gloss are too much, but this gives just the right amount of glow and color. In addition, it smells nice (very faintly) of vanilla, provides good moisture and care for the lips (not as much as lip masks, but more like an everyday product), and is very affordable. I’ve already ordered two more in different shades to take on vacation – one with Shine and one of the regular type. Recommended! 💋 #lykoreview

Won over someone who doesn't use perfume

As I wrote, I don't use perfume because I often find them too strong and not very pleasant. But this one, oh my god! The scent is wonderful, lasts long, and is not too overpowering. It's perfect! #lykoreview

Favorite ❤️

Love this toner! I've already used up two bottles, and even though I try out different toners, I always come back to this one. It has a very thin, milky consistency, is easy to pat into the skin, doesn't sting, and adds lots of moisture to the skin. I have combination skin that easily gets dry on the cheeks and oily in the T-zone, but this works on the whole face. It's a bit pricey, but quite economical – one bottle lasts about 3 months for me when I use it morning and night. I shake it, pour some toner into my hands, and pat it into my face. If the skin feels very dry, I repeat it a couple of times. #lykoreview
