Matte Sunscreen
As a #lykoinflutester, I have tested this for a period, and here is my impression of the product! At first glance, the packaging seems very trustworthy! Considering that it is dermatologically tested and made in collaboration with dermatologists. You really trust that the product delivers proper and good sun protection! The packaging was also very good and I am very satisfied with the pump. It was easy to apply two finger lengths, which was enough for the whole face. 🧡 The product spreads easily, with a very thin and light consistency, but I quickly noticed that it had a rather strong and slightly strange smell. It spread evenly and did not leave a white color on the face, but blended in well. After a few seconds, I still felt a slightly "burning" sensation that lasted a few seconds but then went away. The cream is mattifying and does not give much glow, so if you are a fan of a matte look for oily skin, this could work well! It was also great under makeup 🧡 All in all, it works really well, and I am very excited to test it even more now that the sun is out more! I was recommended this one and it is really good. It doesn’t hurt the scalp and feels gentle on the hair. I don’t think I lose as much hair with this one, at least it doesn’t get stuck as much. For me, this one works well for both dry and towel-dried hair. When the hair is dry, it doesn’t get as frizzy and messy as with other brushes I’ve used. Affordable
I bought this to avoid using old towels and old t-shirts when I dye my hair. Convenient to just throw this on instead. A bit tricky to get it right around the neck, and when you bend forward to dye the hair at the nape, it slides forward and gets in the way. But as long as you stand upright, it protects well. Awesome makeup mirror! 🤩 I've wanted a makeup mirror with lighting for a long time, but most I've looked at felt either too big or too small. This one is truly PERFECT 👌 It has plenty of mirror surface so you can see everything without it taking up an extreme amount of space. A bit tricky to get the right fit!
Had a bit of trouble getting the mask to fit properly, thought it was very big and didn’t sit as it should. But I love the vegan Kombucha and experienced a lovely glow and hydration after the mask was on! ✨ Wished there was a bit more essence in the packaging so you could really soak the mask in it. After testing this during intense days at school (stylist studies), I can only say: WOW. Here’s why I love it, and why I think some criticism against it is misguided. Performance under pressure 🛠️ I used this yesterday during a blowout session. I was standing, working with the hairdryer, and sweating heavily, but the base stayed put! Nothing became "patchy" or blotchy. It really holds the base together in an impressive way. Setting spray vs. eye makeup 🎨 I often see criticism that it doesn’t "set" eyeshadow or eyeliner well enough, but honestly: • The right tool for the right job: Eye makeup is best set with eyeshadow primer, glue, or powder. • Pro tip: If you look at licensed MUAs, you often see they cover the eyes when spraying. Testing a spray based on how well the eyeliner holds isn’t, in my opinion, fair. For me, it’s enough that it fixes the base! Tell me please if I’m wrong! User experience • The spray: The spray function itself is absolutely magical! Here are my thoughts after trying it out: Formulation & Pigment • Pigmentation: Really good color payoff overall. • Finish: A perfect blend of matte shadows and shimmer/glitter. The formulation feels consistent throughout the palette. • Favorite: The silver shadow is absolutely amazing – perfect for a bold silver look! My best application tips 💡 To get the most out of the glittery shadows and minimize fallout: 1. Tool: Use your fingertip or a damp, flat brush to make the glitter really "pop". 2. @inglot Duraline: Want extra intensity? Mix with a drop of Duraline. 3. Base: Apply on a sticky base (eyeshadow primers or concealer work great) for best results. It’s also very easy to do a cut crease on top of the base! 4. @LHcosmetics Sparkl: To avoid fallout on the cheeks, you can "set" the shadow with a liquid glitter product (e.g., LH Cosmetics Sparkl). Any downsides? The only negative is that there is some "kickback" (powder flying up) in the pan when dipping the brush, but that doesn’t bother me personally since the result on the eye is so good. Sat in the sun and enjoyed myself today (first with a friend after some social time and coffee with a whole group, and then in a garden after lunch). Completely forgot the sunscreen; but luckily I didn’t get sunburned at all. However, I burn quite easily and often get very red on my scalp. This sunscreen is a mist for the face, but since I often burn my scalp, I actually usually apply this spray right there. I simply spray this mist over my hair, or more precisely on the parting. Fortunately, it works; I haven’t burned myself the times I’ve applied this mist! And I’m actually really happy about that. What a thing! I don’t at all feel that the hair gets sticky or unclean from the mist. I’ve used this mist a few times on my face, but then I’ve used regular sunscreen as a base. The only negative is that the packaging has sometimes jammed, it has become really stiff now and then. But I’ve managed to get it working again after a while each time, I guess I might have gotten a Monday product? Other than that, I’m very satisfied. I have now received this toner and it will be exciting to try it out. My hair is starting to get yellow tones, but I'm not super fond of that ash blonde hair you get from many blonde toners.
