As a task from #lykoinflutester, I got to test this nourishing lip balm from #paulaschoice It has a light brown-beige nude color and contains peptides that are supposed to provide nutrition and proper moisture to the lips! My first impression of the packaging was that it felt solid and well thought out, the press on It felt high quality and luxurious. However, I found it hard to get the product out at first. Now it’s much easier. I'm not someone who likes to use lip balm daily because I find it uncomfortable to have sticky lips without the lips becoming soft right away. But when I tested this product, I fell in love immediately! It has a mild vanilla scent and a pleasant texture if you use the right amount. Even when most of it is removed, I feel that a lot of moisture and softness it provided remains. This is definitely a product that exceeded my expectations. Another lip product I tested before that gave me soft lips without stickiness was unfortunately way too expensive (about 1000 SEK), and I’ve wondered if there’s a product that gives similar results, and I think this is it! Now I don’t have to walk around with dry and flaky lips! Plus, it gives an incredibly nice finish on the lips with a subtle nude color. A bit too expensive
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this peptide cream from #paulaschoice, which is said to work well as both a day and night cream since it sits nicely under makeup. It’s also fragrance-free, which is a big plus for my sensitive skin! My first impression was that the jar has a very ergonomic and hygienic design and the dosing, which I really like. Then it felt like good quality in the cardboard and plastic, etc. The cream is quite thick but still lays fairly soft and light on the skin. However, I find it a bit stickier and oilier than the one I previously used during the day, so I mainly used this one in the evening. I thought it added moisture, but with my current routine including serum, unfortunately, my skin became a bit too oily during the day than I would have liked, so it felt a bit heavier and stickier when I had makeup on. However, the makeup sat nicely on top as mentioned. As a night cream, I liked it much more since it felt lighter because I didn’t apply anything on top of it. Could be a good day cream now for colder and drier times. Overall, I like it but think the price is too high for me to want to buy it again. Love the packaging and that it hasn’t caused me any reaction due to the fragrance-free ingredients.
