The world's best flat iron!
Okeeeej WOW!! I was really shocked when I tried the GHD Chronos!🤯 I have previously only used cheaper flat irons, including from Remington, which definitely worked, but the difference with this one was really bigger than I could have imagined… The first thing I noticed was how incredibly smoothly it glides through the hair. You hardly need to press at all, the flat iron just glides through the hair and the result is nice right away. With my previous flat irons, I often had to press hard and sometimes the hair got caught and almost stuck in the plates, but with this one everything feels so much softer and more flexible. It really feels so luxurious right from the first use. I've always had a bit of trouble curling my hair with a flat iron. It never really turned out the way I wanted and I had to struggle to get nice curls. But with this Chronos it almost felt like all those problems just disappeared! It became super easy to curl the hair and the curls were even and nice without me having to struggle. Crazy what a flat iron, with really good quality, can make a difference!!🤩 I got that feeling that the hair was done at a salon, which I never really achieved with my previous flat irons.🥹 I also like that it has a single heat setting at 185°C, which feels like a good balance between effective styling and not using unnecessarily high heat on the hair. It also heats up super fast, in about 15 seconds, so you don't have to stand and wait before you can start styling! Of course, I knew there could be a difference between a cheaper and a more expensive flat iron, but not that the difference would be THIS BIG. After trying the GHD Chronos, I really feel it's more worth investing in a good flat iron instead of buying cheaper ones over and over again. A new favorite for the eye area 👁️
I have been very pleasantly surprised by this eye cream from The Ordinary. It has a light and pleasant texture that is easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky 🤍 The skin around my eyes feels softer, firmer, and well hydrated after use, and I think I look fresher and more awake. The cream has a tightening effect and my fine lines have become less visible 🙌 I especially like that it contains Lacto-PDRN™ and at the same time has a light and nourishing formula. After trying it for a long time, I have to finally admit that this product simply isn’t my thing... I physically felt a difference in my skin already after a week (the skin felt somehow firmer), but the visible results I had hoped for did not appear. I also experienced that my skin became more uneven and that I got slightly more pimples. And the stickiness... it’s definitely a vitamin C product. The bottle looks like a chocolate bar and is absolutely super cute and stands out on the shelf. To describe the scent, I would say you should imagine soft marshmallow, chocolate, and quite intense vanilla. It is extremely heavy gourmand and lacks the depth or balance that makes a perfume feel mature or sophisticated (which I like). I prefer perfumes that feel a bit more well-balanced and elegant. Even though I can appreciate warm vanilla notes, I am always skeptical of celebrity scents that tend to become too synthetic, candy-like, and youthful. Unfortunately, this was not a match for me. The longevity is acceptable, but the scent profile feels more suitable for a teenager than for someone looking for a more mature signature scent. If you love very strong, candy-sweet perfumes, it probably works, but for me, it was simply a bit too much. So first and foremost, I am completely speechless!! So grateful that I now through #lykotestpilot have had the honor to try skincare from #emmas The tube is sleek and very easy to use. At first, I was a bit skeptical if a light gel cream would work for my dry skin, but the formula surprised me very positively already at the first use. The gel cream feels incredibly fresh, absorbs quickly into the skin, and leaves no sticky surface at all. The combination of ingredients with 4% niacinamide, BHA, and hyaluronic acid makes it feel both effective against pores and deeply moisturizing at the same time. I have dry skin and often hesitate with products that are supposed to reduce pores because they usually dry out my skin EVEN more. I am super satisfied! I noticed a clear difference faster than expected (just in about a week). The pores look less visible and the skin feels clear and soft. I've had the honor to try some skincare products from Emma S ☁️🤍🫶🏼 The design of this day cream is sleek and the pump bottle makes it very hygienic and very convenient, but when I first pressed out the cream, I was a little hesitant. As someone with dry skin, it didn’t feel powerful or rich enough to save my skin. It has a nice formula with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and antioxidants as well as SPF 20. The cream absorbs smoothly and gives an immediate glow, but the sun protection factor feels a bit low for real sunny days and I still needed to apply a fairly generous layer so my skin wouldn’t feel tight after a few hours. I have very dry skin that quickly soaks up all moisture and easily gets dry patches or visible dryness lines if a day cream is too thin. I’m usually skeptical of multifunctional day creams with SPF as they rarely provide enough nourishment for dry skin. The cream softens the skin for the moment and reduces the finest dryness lines thanks to the hyaluronic acid, but it’s not quite enough on its own for me. To keep my dry skin soft and hydrated all day, I need to supplement with a hydrating serum underneath. I've had the honor to try some skincare products from Emma S 🩷 My first impression of the product was very positive because the packaging is sleek and feels solid in the hand. The fragrance-free formula feels clean and gentle right from the first use 💙 The product is easy to apply with a cotton pad and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. What sets this toner apart is the combination of 2% BHA acid and 1% willow bark extract, which effectively cleans deep down, while plant-based propanediol prevents the skin from drying out, which is awesome!! I really think it lives up to the promise of "Clean pores, clear skin." I have combination skin that easily gets clogged pores and blackheads but can also become dry on the surface if I use too strong acids. Since this toner is fragrance-free and contains moisturizing ingredients, it actually suits my skin type perfectly without causing irritation. I've read other reviews and seen that it's not that popular, but after regular use, my blackheads have decreased and my skin texture has become significantly smoother.
