I really love Joico as a brand and have used most of their lines depending on what needs I have had. My favorite was sold out, so I thought this one would surely be just as good. Unfortunately, it is not. The first thing is the smell, it smells a bit like head and shoulders, not good at all. My hair gets really stiff from this. It doesn't give any shine or moisture. I don't notice any difference if I skip the conditioner. My hair is untreated and my hair type is thick without curls. Kicked this home for an extreme price, and the packaging is cute with little My on 😍 It's a creamy scrub that I really like compared to just sugar/salt that flies everywhere. Applies so beautifully
This stick is among the better foundations I've tried, and I've tried many! When you're 40+, it's not as easy to find a foundation that applies nicely (I think), but this one you can hardly feel on your skin. It's incredibly soft and I've even used it as a concealer right where I'm darkest under the eyes. It covers my pigmentation and redness and gives me a more even face. I use a different brush than the one that comes with the stick. I only use that brush, for example, around the nose. An incredibly good foundation that stays nice all day! I love this concealer so much! The formula is creamy, pigmented, and easy to apply and blend out. You don't need much product to cover up various things, like for example; blemishes, acne, eyebags, discoloration, etc. It holds well and stays put on my skin even after an 8-hour day at work. I am pale with olive undertones, and the shade "Chantilly" I would say is a perfect color match! The product lasts a good while. I am in my early 20s, have acne-prone skin, and it sits and looks nice on my skin. It makes it look even more even. Where there are wrinkles, there will be wrinkles in your makeup no matter what you do after a couple of hours of wearing it. It’s completely natural for your makeup to "gather" where your skin stretches. I bought this in October, my day cream had just run out, and I happily clicked this home at a really discounted price! (It's being sold at a fantastic price now too!). I've been using it for a few weeks now. Fresh to use as a day cream. Lovely product, has a mild and slightly "herbaceous" scent in my opinion. Just the right light cream but still moisturizing and hydrating. My skin really feels soft and smooth. Works well on my sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I think it rolls, though very little. A real lifesaver I unfortunately have atopic eczema that at certain times has caused really severe and troublesome skin issues. 🌪️ During a stressful period in 2023, I got it on my lips and around my mouth and looked like this (picture) for about a year. The appearance may be one thing, but the pain became severe. ❤️🩹 That’s why this is my most important tip, I tried pretty much all lip products and home remedies I could find. Everything got temporarily better or worse. This lip balm comes in a ton of colors and even the nipple balm from the same brand works as a multi-balm for other dry areas on the body. 💦 I think I needed a product that was completely natural and didn’t contain anything water-based. This contains only natural products, basically just lanolin. Even the color is derived from nature. 🌱 Since I started using this balm, I have one in pretty much every bag, at home, at work, you name it. They last a long time and are completely affordable. Not an overhyped product. My sensitive eyes didn’t react even though I applied it quite close to my eyes. Afterwards, the area under my eyes felt unusually smooth. Fluffy and manageable conditioner!!
I was super excited to try this conditioner from Watercloud since I've had positive experiences with other products from the same brand. However, I didn't think the shampoo in the same line was a hit, but the conditioner gets full marks! Starting point: My hair is thick, bleached, and a bit on the dry side. First impression: As with the other products from Watercloud, I like the design and packaging. The scent reminds me a lot of lemongrass, and it's a scent I love! Not too strong, just right. Application: The consistency is soft, fluffy, and the hair becomes instantly manageable and smooth upon application. Even better when you rinse the hair afterward. Oh, how soft it gets. I have a habit (from when I had long hair) of slathering on conditioner, and you really don't need to do that with this conditioner. It's concentrated and works well in a small amount! Result: Hmm.. Provides good moisture and a nice glow
I was so lucky to test this product through Lyko's influencer program! I was looking forward to trying the Rich Moist Soothing Serum, as I usually like light serums that provide lots of moisture without weighing me down. The first impression was positive – the consistency is light, absorbs quickly, and feels pleasant when applied. Picture number 1 is right after applying the product, giving a very nice and glowy look on its own, as you can see from the picture. Experience The serum actually provides good moisture, and I immediately liked how soft my face felt after use. For me, it was almost enough moisture on its own, without the accompanying cream from Klairs. However, I experienced after a few days that my skin started to get a few more blemishes and small pimples, which made me unsure if this was a product that suited me in the long run. My background: My skin can be a bit sensitive to certain ingredients, especially products that lay too thick a film on the skin. I quickly notice if something leads to more clogged pores or breakouts, and then it's hard to continue with the product even if it has good properties otherwise. Result: Even though the serum provides good moisture, I unfortunately experienced an increase in blemishes while using it. Because of this, I will not continue with the serum. This is probably a product that works better for skin types that can tolerate a bit more or skin types that need a little extra moisture, for extra moisture this is one of the best products I have tested! This product is very effective. Your toner stays on the surface and definitely reduces how much you need by more than 30%, I would rather say 50%. The negative is that it's hard with the amount as it easily gets sticky, I think. I've also gotten too little on, and I don't think you can flip it and use the other side as they have different functions and it's clearly noticeable. At least my toner works better on a different pad. I've also tested it with makeup remover, and it doesn't work at all then. Looked like a zebra on my face. So use it only for what it's intended for. I also didn't like the size of it, I have a fitting jar at home, but that was clearly round.. So for me, the negatives outweighed, so I will pass on this going forward. Not quite the product for me
I was so lucky to test this product through Lyko's Influtester program! When I first started using the Rich Moist Soothing Cream, I expected a light, moisturizing face cream that could give my skin an extra boost – especially since it is known to be soothing and gentle. The consistency seemed promising, and it felt nice when I tested it on my skin for the first time. The cream is soft, easy to work with, and gives a nice first feeling of moisture. I especially liked that it didn’t feel heavy or greasy. However, I didn’t find that it did anything extra, and it didn’t provide noticeable results beyond regular moisture. After a few days of use, I noticed that it simply wasn’t enough for my face – especially on days when I was a bit drier than usual. My background: I have skin that is quite stable but can get periodic blemishes and tends to react to products that are too heavy or too occlusive. Therefore, I am a bit picky when it comes to face creams, and I quickly notice if something doesn’t give me what I need. Result: In the end, I ended up using the cream as a body cream instead – which it actually worked surprisingly well as! The product is easy to work with and absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky afterward. It provides decent moisture, feels mild and safe, but for my face, it didn’t do enough. An okay cream, but not one I will buy again.
