Good cleansing without drying out
I had the honor of receiving the #dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel along with some of their other products and have tested them together. This gel has a very subtle and fresh scent and comes in a large package that is easy to use. The cleanser has a gel consistency that foams lightly when mixed with water. It feels fresh on the skin and cleans effectively without being too harsh. Afterwards, the skin feels clean and soft, not tight. The fact that the skin does not feel tight and dry is a big advantage for me as I have dry skin. Therefore, I can feel clean without any discomfort. After using the cleanser for a while, I am satisfied with this product and think it works well as a cleanser without drying out the skin. Scent?
I had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Dermalogica Biolumin-C Serum along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was in great need of a serum and was therefore so happy to receive this product. My first impression was how luxurious the packaging was. The serum comes in a glass bottle which is well protected inside a nicely designed box. The serum has a light texture that quickly absorbs into the skin and feels smooth to apply. One dropper is enough for the entire face and neck. The skin feels moisturized and gets a lot of glow immediately after application. However, the scent was a big downside for me. The scent is not too strong but doesn’t smell particularly fresh in my opinion and affects the experience for me. Thanks to the strong absorption into the skin, the scent disappears quickly. A serum requires more time to see results but the radiance and glow I have gotten have been perfect for me and I look forward to continuing to use this product. I have had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Daily Microfoliant along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was very curious to try this product. What immediately caught my interest was that it is an exfoliant in powder form, which feels a bit different compared to regular scrubs. The first impression was that it felt gentle and easy to use. The product feels very mild on the skin but still effective. You activate it by rubbing the powder in your own wet hands. Then the powder foams up but still retains some grains that help exfoliate. After the first use, the skin already felt more radiant. I have dry skin type and therefore prefer exfoliating products that you wash off and do not stay on the skin. Therefore, this type of mild exfoliation suited me very well. After these weeks of use, my skin has neither become irritated nor dried out, which makes this product perfect for daily use. I love the glow I get from this and look forward to seeing what other benefits this product can provide. I prefer products that are not too strong or drying. Disappointment
Had high expectations for this product. Appearance-wise, the product and container are luxurious and nice. Just the right size. The applicator itself is a bit tricky to work with, and the formula is creamy but a bit hard to get even. I felt that the color did not match on the lips/in the bottle. When I applied my tint, the lips became a different color that was very intense in terms of color. I would have preferred if the color was the same as in the bottle. The product dries slowly but doesn’t feel moisturizing. The lips mostly look matte and dry. No "plumping" effect either, in my opinion. I was tasked with testing this mascara & here are my thoughts: 👁️Background: I naturally have quite long lashes and usually don’t have problems with mascaras, like them not lasting all day etc. 🤗First impression: I really like the look of the mascara, it feels sleek & nice. The brush is just the right size, which I prefer. I also like that it can be removed with just warm water & the environmental thinking Idun Minerals has. 😆My opinion: It’s a good mascara that is definitely waterproof as I got a bit sentimental the other day & it really stayed put. No smudging or running. 🥲However, I find the brush can have a bit of trouble separating the lashes & I sometimes need to help out, which I haven’t always needed with other mascaras. It can also clump a bit if you’re not careful when applying but that doesn’t lower my rating. 🤩It definitely gives volume, but if you’re after really full lashes, this might not be the mascara for you as it focuses more on separating, which it also promises. 😀When removing, it tends to crumble rather than smudge, which I personally have mixed feelings about. Not necessarily a bad thing but a bit different for me. I usually straighten or blow-dry my hair after washing to try to tame the frizz. My first reaction to the leave-in was the amazing scent! Conditioner gives plenty of moisture and suits my hair, which is straight and damaged at the ends. It has the same pleasant, mild scent and simple packaging.
