Tweezerman Eyelash Curler
I love this eyelash curler! It works so incredibly well. I also like that it comes with two extra rubber bands that you can replace when the one on the curler starts to wear out. It's important to change the rubber bands so you don't damage your own eyelashes! I usually warm up my eyelash curler with a lighter and let it cool down a bit before curling my lashes. It gives the same effect as, for example, a curling iron; I find that it makes the curl in the lashes last much longer. Nyx primer
One of my absolute favorite primers! 💛 It can be used both as a serum and a primer. I think it makes makeup sit super nicely and last long. However, how the makeup looks over the primer can vary depending on the base of the next makeup product. If they don’t have a similar base, it can lead to cakey or flaky makeup. But that can happen with any primer! Waterproof mascara that stays on super well. I usually use a mascara that isn’t waterproof underneath and then apply a waterproof mascara over it. I first tested this at the Lyko store and I thought the scent was lovely back then! The hairspray has a good hold, so it’s perfect for sleek hairstyles, and the price isn’t bad either. Many hairsprays make hair look flaky when brushing, but this one doesn’t, which is really good. Products make a difference
Lately, my hair has been breaking a lot due to too strong bleaching/highlighting :( In the gym locker room, I looked at my ponytail and was shocked at how dry, broken, and lifeless it looked! So I decided that now I need to invest in hair products again to stop the breakage and make my hair look lively again. The before and after pictures were taken on the same day, can you believe it! 1. I washed my hair with K18’s deep cleansing shampoo to remove all heavy product residues and accumulated metals/minerals from my hair. 2. I applied the fragrance-free hair mask from the Finnish brand Sim Sensitive DS, which is seriously good! You could tell from the texture that it would do good for the hair. I let it sit for at least 10 minutes. 3. My favorite conditioner <3 Redken’s acidic color gloss. My coarse hair needs a thick conditioner that really moisturizes and makes the hair smooth + shiny. Many of Redken’s lines are great for this. 4. Then almost the most important thing, the leave-in conditioner! The job of the leave-in conditioner is to lock in all the benefits of the hair care products applied in the shower. The product itself also adds extra moisture, shine, and most importantly protects the hair and prevents breakage. Also, Redken’s all soft moisture restore leave-in conditioner contains heat protection and smells absolutely wonderful. Good buy! 5. Then I blow-dried my hair and finished with Kerastase glaze drops hair oil… Such an amazing result! Serum with results
This serum from kerastase, which you’ve heard so much about, I’ve now had the chance to test, and have been using it for about 10 weeks! (Collaboration but an honest and genuine review) My hairline is a bit further back on the sides where many others also experience thinner hair. Therefore, I have applied most there during these weeks to see if it has given any clear results. And I really think you can see the difference, and I feel that many new small hairs have grown during this time! 🤩 The scent is relatively strong, so you know it’s quite perfumed before you buy it :) However, it hasn’t affected me as I have a sensitive scalp, only some days I’ve felt a liiiittle tenderness on the sides but nothing more. Other serums/products for hair can easily feel greasy after application, but the result from this one is the opposite. The hair became a bit drier where I applied the serum but not so much that it feels uncomfortable. It evaporates very quickly and you can smell an alcohol scent, so you know that beforehand. However, I haven’t noticed anything negative from it 🥰 I haven’t needed to use the dropper, instead I’ve just taken the serum from the actual “glass tube,” as a lot of product settles on the outside of the tube. A very fresh floral scent, but one I still find heavy/strong. The positive is that it’s not so cold that it stings the nose, which many fresh perfumes do for me. So it’s heavy, warm, yet still fresh. For me, it’s a bit too strong/heavy, and for those sensitive to strong scents, it might cause headaches. It also didn’t last long on me. I generally prefer perfumes that are light, fresh, and sweet or warm and spicy scents. I think the combination of it being fresh and floral but still warm and extremely heavy doesn’t work for me. However, if you like that combo, it might be for you. The longevity wasn’t great either, but that’s largely individual, so it’s probably not something to take as a given. Good product
I have only tried the product once so far, but it had an immediate effect on my blonde hair. If I don’t use cleansing shampoo and purple shampoo for a couple of washes, the hair gets a noticeably yellow/orange tint and generally looks darker. After one wash with this, the hair looks completely fresh, clean, and cool again, without leaving the hair grayish. I like the idea that this is both cleansing shampoo and purple shampoo in one. Easy to apply – shake the bottle well and take a couple of pumps of foam in your hands before applying it all over the hair. I only needed 2 pumps to cover all my hair. Very good consistency and easy to spread when it’s foam – I especially liked that! I’m going to the hairdresser to freshen up my highlights this week and am curious how the product will behave in the hair afterwards. Budget buy for thin hair!
I like these so unexpectedly much?! Had zero expectations because they’re so cheap BUT I really feel like my hair feels fuller at the roots. ✨ Not sure if it’s visible, but it at least FEELS fuller and with more volume.
