Exclusive Hand Soap Test Pilot
The product was delivered in a nice box sealed with a sticker – feels luxurious! However, I generally wonder why the company doesn’t package their glass bottles more securely, like bubble wrap around the glass bottle or something similar. The outer box is also very thin. My products were not damaged, but it could easily happen during postal handling! The product has a thick glass bottle which feels both luxurious and rustic at the same time. Positive that you can buy refills for the soap, good that the bottle itself can be a one-time purchase! Nice with a striped label on the inside, it reflects beautifully instead of just being white like many other packages. The soap itself feels a bit like a gel, a bit thicker than regular soap. Which is good, it saves on the amount that comes out with each pump. It quickly becomes a creamy lather with water which feels luxurious. The scent is very nice, it smells fresh, clean, and natural at the same time because it smells of citrus and green tea. The scent lingers for a long time afterwards! A big plus is that it contains 96% natural ingredients, nature is incredible! Also a big plus that #mariestellamaris contributes to clean water worldwide with a project. The downside is the price, unfortunately I can’t afford to spend that amount on a hand soap. But a nice gift and fun to try! After we used the soap for a few days at home, I put the bottle back in the box and gave it to my mom as a housewarming gift, oh how happy she was! Really a nice thing to give as a gift to someone. When my kids started carrying the bottle around and using the soap for slime and as a slide on the trampoline, it had to move to mom 😂🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ In summary, a genuine, beautiful, and caring product! It feels like the hands become clean, soft, and pleasantly scented. The downside is the price but as I said, after trying it, it’s something I can imagine buying as a gift for one of my close and dear ones. Smells good but strong
Test pilot for fragrant luxury! Got to test this product as a test pilot for Marie-Stella-Maris. The product came in a nice box, sleek and sealed with a small sticker. Feels luxurious just by that, why is that, one wonders? 😄 Easy to “start” the product, you just remove a small plastic cap inside the cork and insert the sticks. The bottle itself is made of glass and feels genuine, heavy lovely glass, there we have the luxury feeling again! It is beautiful and sleek. Also nice are the stripes inside the label that reflect from different angles. The scent? Yes, thank you, it smells very good! But too strong! I placed it on a shelf in the hallway because we have both hockey equipment and a litter box that can smell less luxurious when you enter our home 😆 So, the scent from these diffuser sticks removes many of the less pleasant odors. But too strong! The first day I almost got a headache. In the picture, the bottle had been out for a day, I thought much of the liquid had been absorbed. Then I removed all the sticks except two that remain in the bottle. The other sticks that already had the scent in them I placed in the basement and bathrooms. The sticks will probably smell for a long time. Maybe I should hide one in my son's hockey bag, the whole locker room will smell of green tea and flowers 😆👏 The scent is, by the way, as described, we think it smells of green tea, citrus, and flowers. One suggestion would be to put some kind of closure at the very top of the cork instead of the bottle standing completely open. Maybe a small plastic cap where you can stick any number of sticks into holes that are sealed but etched so that when you insert a stick it releases just that seal. I think it smells so strong because the cork is open. Another suggestion might be to dilute the liquid more and make it more viscous. That way the scent would be dispensed in a milder degree. In summary, it is a nice, luxurious, and fragrant product. The price is on the high side and not something I would have bought myself, so it was fun to try something out of the ordinary! The downside is that it smells too strong, I wonder if my cats are intoxicated by the fumes in the home (joking aside)! Another downside is the price, dilute the liquid and make it more viscous so it lasts for more bottles in production instead. The best thing about the product and the brand is that they contribute to clean water in the world through a project. Big plus. So, a beautiful and luxurious product but I recommend only putting in one, max two sticks in the bottle. And not something I would buy myself because of the price. MB is a staple for me, but this version is a bit thinner than the other editions I've experienced. Smells like grandma's bathroom in the 90s. Very strong scent that smells A LOT. Very floral/citrus. A feminine and fruity scent
As a Lyko influencer tester, I have had the chance to try La Bomba Eau de Parfum 50 ml from Carolina Herrera over the past few weeks. My first impression of the perfume was that it was very beautiful. Feminine, playful, and it caught my interest right away. After reading about the scent, I already felt I would like it, and I did. 💁♀️ A feminine and wonderful scent that is both elegant and playful, as it contains (in my opinion) both fruity and slightly floral notes. I can smell both Cherry 🍒 (which is one of my absolute favorites in scents) and a bit of vanilla and peony. A nice blend that goes well together! Mild cleansing
This cleansing is very mild and gentle, it does not dry out. It does what it’s supposed to, but it’s quite mediocre, or whatever I should call it. I have to supplement with a moisturizing serum and a good face cream. I have sensitive and combination skin, get blemishes easily, and this one is a bit too gentle. "Opalescent" Cream Highlighter
Rose Inc's cream highlighter comes just like the blush in a small flat case with a magnetic lid and mirror. The case is shaped like a toilet seat🚽😀 Easy to open and sturdy, it's easy to carry. Contains 5 g. Described as "velvety smooth" and with skin-caring ingredients, it should last 6 months after opening. Sure, it's easy to use but maybe not velvety smooth... not on my dry skin at least😃 My sample is now over a year old and still in good condition👏 so the durability is good👍 It also claims to give a natural result without glitter, and that's true👍 "Opalescent" is described by the brand as a "Cool pink", i.e. a cool pink, and it's the only cool one they have. It looks fairly cool in a natural way on Rose Inc's own pictures. I, who have very fair skin with a cool undertone, was happy and bought it! Unfortunately, the shade description was not very accurate🤥 At first, I thought I got the wrong shade but that was not the case😕 It's simply misdescribed! According to the website Temptalia, which tests thousands of makeup products and takes its own pictures, this is a "light pink with warmer undertones", and that's unfortunately a perfect description – too bad I didn't check before buying😬 ➕️Natural result. ➕️Firm formula, doesn't get smudgy from heat. ➕️Long-lasting. ➕️Fragrance-free, cf🐇🐁🐒 and vegan🌱 ➕️Made in the USA. ➕️Economical. ➖️Warm – description is inaccurate. ➖️Expensive. All in all, it's disappointing that the brand consistently has incorrect shade descriptions AND misleading pictures (see also my review of the blush in the shade "Camellia"). It's also not great that all their 5 highlighters are warm including the so-called "cool" one! – I myself look dirty in warm shades so I can really only use this in summer when I'm about half a shade darker than usual (and in reality, I'm paler and cooler than in the photo because my camera takes too dark and yellow cards👎😄). A clear favorite from Chloé! They never stop surprising, this time no exception. But unfortunately it doesn't last that long. After 4 hours it has disappeared and reapplication is required. A lovely color that suits a light tan. Minimal scent, well pigmented, easy to blend. Gives a nice glow without looking like shimmer. Good but expensive
Gives a really luxurious citrus scent that provides a kind of spa feeling. I find the scent pleasant when it comes to scent strength. The packaging is nice and sleek and thus fits well into the home. It also seems like it will last a long time. The only negative is that I think it is very expensive, but that is individual. Fresh hand soap with a citrus scent, which like all other products in the series, smells like a spa. You can tell it’s more exclusive than budget soaps because the texture of this one is soft and silky✨ It cleans without drying out the skin, which is great. The bottle is nice and sleek and makes a nice detail in the bathroom. I find the packaging practical since it’s small, which fits my small sink, and the pump is smooth and doesn’t get stuck or jam like budget soaps can. It’s made of glass, which makes me think it’s especially good as a refill. Started using this cream on my body together with CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser and the two are a dream team! I apply it after showering on my arms and chest, and after about 1-2 months I started noticing a difference in skin unevenness. The skin feels and looks much smoother now. The texture is quite thick and the skin can feel a bit sticky for a while afterwards but it goes away and really doesn’t affect the results. It’s also super economical, it took quite a while before my first tube ran out. Worth mentioning is that I don’t use it on my face due to sensitive skin but as a body product for uneven skin it’s definitely worth the money. Spot on color!
I had the chance to test the Sky High mascara in the color True Brown as #lykoinflutester! The Sky High waterproof mascara is definitely my favorite and the only one I use and compare with. Still, I was very curious when the original came out in the color True Brown!🤎 I have very light features and low contrast, and I imagined that the brown color could give a softer look and be a bit less harsh. The color is spot on!🤎 As expected, I found that the brown color made the eyes look a bit softer and suited me better than the black does. Unfortunately, it can’t compare to how the waterproof version holds the lashes up. When I use an eyelash curler + Sky High, the lashes hold the curl and stand straight up! With this one, however, I could see the lashes drooping and standing straight forward, despite the curler. It almost looked like I barely had any mascara on at all.
