Wonderful rice mask for tired, dry skin!
I've probably tried over 50 different sheet masks in the last 8 years. With dry, thin, slightly sensitive skin, I rarely give any a perfect score😊 This one gets it even though it contains niacinamide, which my skin isn't always a fan of! Milky, smooth serum, very good fit for a change (most Korean masks are made for wide faces with low foreheads, but not this one) it was super comfortable👏 Rice extract both softens, makes the skin more elastic, has a refreshing and brightening effect on dry, dull skin, can have a lightening effect on dark spots over time, and has a temporary pore-tightening, firming effect that felt natural👍 I didn't notice the niacinamide, which can otherwise cause irritated red spots for me. Squalane contributes to the softening effect and hyaluronic acid to the moisturizing💦 A top mask for me and goes straight into my favorites😃 This fall I will try the facial toner and serum in the same series! Call me a boomer, but I'm not quite ready for this step in skincare... This cleanser from Ida Warg comes in a packaging almost identical to their shower gels. Unlike many other products from ida warg beauty, I actually liked this toner. The biggest difference is that this one isn’t as heavily perfumed as many of the other products. For years, I have only used Estée Lauder’s Double Wear foundation because I needed a lot of coverage for pimples and blemishes😅 Lately, my skin has been clearer, and I decided to try a lighter foundation with less coverage. Hickap The Wonder Base Stick – 2C Champagne ✨ I really had high expectations for this, especially since I love many of Hickap’s other products ❣️ The stick has a super creamy and soft texture and is very easy to apply. However, I unfortunately found it surprisingly difficult to blend out and the base settled incredibly cakey on the skin. I have combination, acne-prone skin with a slightly oilier T-zone and unevenness from acne scars, but even with primer, powder, and setting spray I couldn’t get an even result… It also settled easily into lines and highlighted unevenness rather than smoothing the skin 💔 It feels extra disappointing because I was really looking forward to it and like Hickap’s other products so much. Unfortunately, this one did not live up to my expectations at all based on the description.
