I am genuinely obsessed with the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer. I use the shade 4N, and it is the most perfect, seamless match for my skin tone. This is one of my favorite products in my makeup bag. This is actually a product I keep coming back to time and time again, which says a lot. This particular shade has suited me perfectly now during the summer when I've gotten a bit sunburned. The color gives a natural and nice depth to the face without looking too dark or orange. It blends very nicely into the skin and gives a soft, natural result that works both for everyday and when you want a more made-up look. I find that the product works best if you warm it up a bit on the back of your hand before applying. Then it becomes even creamier and easier to work with, while blending out evenly and nicely without leaving any harsh edges. When I use it that way, I get a very natural result that I think stays nice all day. Another big advantage is that the stick lasts a long time. Even though I use it almost daily, it feels like the product never runs out, which makes it feel worth the price. You also only need a small amount to get the desired effect. I also appreciate that the formula is easy to build up. You can create everything from a subtle contour to a more defined look without the product becoming patchy or heavy on the skin. Name a better combo? I have tested three lovely products from Kevin Murphy for over seven weeks, namely their hydrating shampoo & conditioner, as well as the detox shampoo! These products complement each other so well, and I am very impressed with all three 😍 I have written individual reviews of each product for those who want more details, but here is a short summary: The detox shampoo cleans the hair well and effectively removes product residues without irritating the scalp. The moisturizing shampoo ensures to cleanse the hair well while providing moisture, shine, and care from roots to ends. The conditioner is my favorite, and I have nothing to complain about. It gives such great results, and the hair both feels and looks so fresh, soft, and shiny after use. It also works great as a leave-in, so I can use less of other care and styling products. The world's best conditioner & leave-in if you like soft, shiny hair without frizz
I have used this conditioner every time I washed my hair in the last seven weeks, and I am sold!! 🙌🏼 Why haven't I tried this earlier? A bit about my hair: I have long, thick, and very full hair with a mix of waves and curls. Lots of frizz, unruliness, dryness, and dullness. Therefore, I rely on good care products, both in the shower and afterwards, to avoid looking like a fluffy sheep or Hagrid from Harry Potter 🤭 This hydrating conditioner suits me perfectly! One of the things I like best about it is how light and fluid it is compared to many others. At first, I was a bit scared of this and thought this formula couldn't possibly give me enough moisture and care, but I was thoroughly wrong. The consistency makes it super easy to distribute evenly throughout the hair, and without having to use tons of product. I don't know if it's magic or how it works – it just does! A tip from Kevin Murphy is not to rinse out the conditioner completely but to leave 30-40% of the product in the hair after washing. Of course, I had to try this (even though I was a bit afraid the hair would feel greasy or weighed down), but it worked SO well! I always use nourishing products like leave-ins, curl creams, hair oils, etc., after washing my hair, but since I started doing this, I have to use much less product because this gives such great results 💜 I have used this in combination with the matching shampoo and detox shampoo from the same brand. The detox shampoo cleans the hair very effectively but can make the hair a bit extra dry. Luxurious shampoo that tames frizz, adds shine, and plenty of moisture
This shampoo has been a staple in my shower for seven weeks now, so I thought it was time for a review. My hair is thick and full with both waves and curls. It can therefore quickly feel dull, dry, frizzy, and unmanageable – and needs a lot of moisture and care. One advantage is that it doesn’t get greasy quickly, and I only need to wash my hair a couple of times a week, despite having a somewhat dry and sensitive scalp. I really liked this one, and there’s no doubt it gives the hair a good dose of moisture. My hair feels so soft and clean after using this. Because it’s so moisturizing, it can weigh the hair down a bit, but that’s minimal and in my case contributes to a smoother and shinier look! ✨ It smells really nice without being too strong or overpowering, and the scent fades quite quickly. It’s gentle on the scalp and hasn’t caused any irritation. Together with the simple but classic packaging, this leads to a luxurious experience. The only downside is that I have to use a bit more product than usual to get my hair properly clean, so it’s not very economical. All in all, I’m very satisfied and can definitely recommend this! Effective detox that's gentle on hair and scalp 💚
I've been using this detox shampoo every 3-4 washes for seven weeks now, and I have a good impression of it. It cleans the hair and removes product buildup very well. It dries out the hair a bit, as you can expect from a detox shampoo, but not more than similar products. Together with the Hydrate-Me conditioner from Kevin Murphy, this dryness is no longer noticeable. 💆🏽♀️ My scalp is on the dry side and a bit sensitive, so I'm always a bit skeptical about trying new hair products, especially when they're deep cleansing. This caused no irritation, itching, or increased dryness, but I felt it was on the milder side and could have cleansed the scalp a bit more. That's the only thing I have to criticize, but again, this is perfect for the more sensitive as well. I need only a small amount of product for it to be effective, so it's economical to use, and since it doesn't need to be used that often, it will last a long time. Very comfortable and soft with a fleece inside. A bit small in size. I usually wear 44 and ordered XL, and then it fits just right. If you want it more oversized, you should go up at least one size.
