🫧First impression Love travel-size products, that way you find favorites and not-so-favorites pretty quickly, especially if you like trying lots of new things like me! A small handy package that fits in the toiletry bag, smells WONDERFUL, thicker consistency, easy to lather and rinse off, lasts forever. 🧖🏻♀️ Usage (For reference, hair reaches mid-back, wavy (2B), gets frizzy easily) Used this 2-3 times a week for 3 weeks, very easy to lather and work into the hair. You actually need very little because the product is so concentrated. Finished with the conditioner from the same series. ✨ Result 3 weeks might be too short to give a more detailed review, but definitely noticed that hair is softer and more moisturized, unfortunately not much shine. 👍 Plus 💚 Moisturizes hair very well, especially wavy/curly hair 💚 Smells wonderful!!! 💚 Travel size lets you try the product without feeling forced to use it all if it’s not your cup of tea 👎 Minus ❤️🩹 Can be a bit too heavy for hair if you have a thinner hair type 💭 Conclusion Will definitely buy Shea Moisture again, but maybe not this one specifically for my hair. It’s one of the few creams I buy over and over again. 😍 I almost always use it in the evening because it has a richer texture and really deeply moisturizes the skin. During the winter months, I also use it every day since my skin gets much drier. Even though it’s rich, it doesn’t feel heavy and also works really well under makeup; the skin becomes soft, moisturized, and the makeup applies nicely without feeling cakey. Unfortunately, this mascara didn’t make much of an impression on me. Even from the first coat, it’s quite heavy and clumps the lashes a lot. I like the effect of clumped lashes, but with this mascara, you really have to work hard to comb them nicely and achieve an aesthetic effect like in the photo. The biggest disappointment, however, was the durability. Even though it’s waterproof, after a few hours it creates panda eyes and leaves dark residue. I still have some technique to practice 😂 The design is also very sleek and it is surprisingly light, which makes it comfortable to use. It glides easily through the hair and makes it easy to create soft waves and curls. I was also positively surprised at how quickly and effectively it straightens the hair. It glides smoothly through the hair without snagging, and the result is smooth and nice in a short time. The price is steep, but I think you get a very high-quality straightener. I chose to invest a bit more in a model that both straightens and curls hair so well, and for me, it has definitely been worth the investment. A small addition: I have also tested the ghd Chronos, but experienced that I struggled a bit more with the technique when making curls with it. Of course, this could also be because I'm still not completely skilled with the technique. For me, it was still easier to use the ghd Sculpt since I achieved the result much more easily.
