The application is quite problematic: the product applies unevenly and tends to dry quickly. Because of this, you can't calmly add more or fix it – when trying to even it out, the layer that was already applied rubs off, leaving a bare spot. The durability is okay, but nothing spectacular. It lasts for a few hours, but after washing your face, there's no trace left, so it's more of an "out for the night" stain rather than an all-day wear. Bare Minerals bareMinerals Powder Foundation I used as a bronzer and it’s so easy to blend out. The blush from Revolution Makeup Revolution is TOTALLY magical! As you know, Victoria’s Secret models have a red blush and I can say this is one of the nicest and easiest blushes I’ve tried. Will buy again! The lashes from Ardell Ardell are so pretty since I love having a lash on the outer edge of the lash line. They are perfect for that! E.L.F. glitter eyeshadow is so pretty but I used it as a highlighter. essence glitter eyeshadow is totally AMAZING!!! Reminds me of Fenty’s glitter which is frosty. It’s so pigmented and works best with setting spray, a dense eyeshadow brush, or your finger. WOWOWO! I also carved my eyebrows and am so happy. Easy to use and it removes everything. Idawarg kabuki brush was SOOOOO good! Love it. However, if you like longer handles, it’s a bit shorter. But I think it should be that way for a brush like this. Used it for foundation and bronzer. Top Mascara!
I am absolutely no beginner with the brand Catrice, but I had never tried their mascara before until I got a travel size in their advent calendar. It was great – but unfortunately sold out in full size, so I got this one instead. I probably have quite long lashes, which go through phases when they behave the way I want. But every now and then I enter a phase when they are unmanageable without a breakdown. In the pictures, it’s the first time I tested this mascara, and it was only used on one eye (very clear which one 😅) The brush is somewhat smaller than I usually prefer, but it’s no problem to use it. It separates well and is very easy to build up if, like me, you like “more is more” 😎, but it works just as well if you want a more natural look. It washes off easily with water and facial cleanser. What lowers the rating a bit is that it crumbles a little during the day and that the eyes can water a bit if it’s very windy outside, something I don’t experience with my all-time favorite – Sweed. However, it hasn’t been put to the test in, for example, snowstorms or heavy rain, but I suspect it might not be perfect under those conditions. Dries FAST, and I mean FAST. You have 5 seconds before it sets completely, if you still try to spread it out, you'll end up with crumbs on your fingers. Smells mild, a bit like chemical moisturizer. The color is light beige, but ended up looking like a failed 90s kid who got full freedom with way too dark self-tanner. In other words; orange and patchy. Contains quite a bit of glow, which is great if the product could be used. Probably suits oily skin type, rather than dry or combination. This foundation gives an absolutely beautiful, flawless finish that looks like a second skin, only better!! I would describe the coverage as medium but fully buildable; you can achieve both a very natural everyday look and a more polished look without feeling heavy. In my opinion, the foundation sets a bit, but it’s still amazing to work with, doesn’t blotch, doesn’t catch during application, and spreads beautifully with both brush and sponge. Hyal Reyouth Melting Foaming Balm from Dr Ceuracle is a very nice cleansing balm. It easily melts away my makeup and does not leave my skin tight like several other cleansing balms do. I tend to react to some cleansing balms with rashes and irritated skin, and some have even caused allergic reactions, but not Dr Ceuracle’s. The skin is calm and nice and feels moisturized and not at all as tight as I can get from some. Otherwise, I really like the practical snap lid, so you don’t have to unscrew a lid.
