This is a fantastic oil-based serum that, despite being oil-based, is not thick and doesn’t ball up on the skin. I have dry, mature, and sensitive skin and usually need to use quite a bit of product to feel satisfied – this serum is no exception, but that entirely depends on my skin type. I really like the texture, even though I usually avoid other oil-based serums because of that. They often feel so “dry and clogging” when spread out, but this serum might be the exception that proves the rule? I think my skin feels more elastic now after using this serum for a good while. Glass skin
Got this cream in a Lyko Lovables box, something I really find fun since I love trying out new creams! I am 45 years old with basically dry skin that I maintain with good skincare. It is also sensitive. The cream really stands out in one way, and that is that it is terribly slippery! Like melted butter in a frying pan... I, who don’t use the included spatula but use my fingers to fish cream out of the jar, quickly realized this when I dropped some cream not just once but several times! Oops. But it is also this that gives you an incredible glow and what is called "glass skin." It is a very rich and moisturizing cream in that way. Maybelline Serum Lipstick x Smartson
002 Maybe It’s… is a neutral-warm rusty brownish red on my neutral skin tone (a bit more red than pencil 05 On It). Pink-brown in some lights. I usually like slightly cooler lips – but this one is nice anyway and will probably suit many ♥️🤎 Soft, easy-to-apply formula with a matte finish, but not as moisturizing as I expected. Creamy and opaque at first, but dries down within about an hour and highlights some dry flakes. Scent: Vanilla caramel fudge (a bit annoying scent in my opinion) but disappears quickly. Durability: Okay. After about an hour (walk + water) mostly tint remains. Needs to be reapplied several times during the day to maintain creaminess. Nice packaging, with a small minus for the square cap that only fits in 1 of 4 angles (have to search). I don’t know if it’s just me who thinks this face cream smells like lemon cheesecake 🍋, but I adore the scent. Normally, I’m sensitive to strong fragrances, but this one is in a class of its own. The cream itself is rich and creamy. A little goes a long way. I have sensitive skin and don’t notice any irritation after use. The cream keeps the skin moisturized all night, and I think it gives a nice glowing complexion. I can’t comment on how it works against wrinkles since I have fairly smooth skin, but I like it anyway. The design is simple, and the jar is easy to use. The cream is a bit on the pricier side but lasts a long time, so it’s worth the money. Started using this body cream together with CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser and the two are a dream team! I apply it after showering on my arms and chest, and after about 1-2 months I started noticing a difference in skin unevenness. The skin feels and looks much smoother now. The texture is quite thick and the skin can feel a bit sticky for a while afterwards, but it goes away and really doesn't affect the results. It's also super economical, it took quite a while before my first tube ran out. Worth mentioning is that I don't use it on my face due to sensitive skin, but as a body product for uneven skin it is definitely worth the money. Best for the body, skip for the face
Okay, so this cleanser is absolutely amazing but not really for the face if you have dry and sensitive skin like me! 😅 I mainly use it in the shower and it has worked wonders for my KP. The skin on my legs is noticeably softer and smoother since I started using it, and that’s exactly the kind of result I hoped for! I use about 1 pump per leg. I think it’s very economical for the price. The consistency is very runny and watery, but when you start massaging it in, it foams up quickly. Regarding the face, I tried using it for a while in combination with CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream, but it ended up stinging badly. Salicylic acid in both cleanser and cream at the same time was probably too much for my sensitive skin. I usually use it on my face occasionally to really clean, and then it doesn’t sting, but as a daily facial cleanser, I think it’s a bit too harsh for dry/sensitive skin. I have dry and sensitive skin and was a bit nervous to try a BHA product, but this one has really surprised me positively! I apply a little on a cotton pad and swipe over my face in the evening, about twice a week. Absolutely one of the best cream bronzers I've tried. So easy to work with, doesn't get patchy, can seem too pigmented but it's easy to make it less intense. Easy to clean up if there's too much. Blends in MAX 15 seconds. This is definitely a product I will repurchase and have in my makeup artist kit. It doesn't remove any product underneath either but sits so nicely on top of foundation. It works well with other products like cream blush and the powder never settles weirdly in it. So good. So worth the price. A forgotten gem
I got a pair in a Loveablebox before and then repurchased, but then they ended up in a drawer and were forgotten. Today the snow is pouring down outside the window, so what better than to have some selfcare here at home in the warmth ☃️ This time of year when the weather changes, I find my skin extra sensitive and it reacts to most things. But these eye masks do the trick. They are relatively thin but not fragile, so they don’t break and it’s easy to get them in place without damage. They’re generous with the moisture too, so they glide on nicely. Slurp says the skin and feels hydrated and plumped afterwards. No reaction at all. I also rubbed the excess moisture from the packaging on my dry elbows 👌🏻 I can imagine buying them again, they’re pretty okay. My hair is dry, many conditioners are too weak and don’t provide enough moisture. But I had no problems at all detangling my hair after washing after using this. This became a new favorite. We are probably not many who have missed the buzz about Korean Beauty right now. So, with excitement, I bought this eye cream. Since this eye cream contains retinol, I started by getting my skin used to it by using it about twice a week. Then I gradually increased usage according to recommendations. For me, this eye cream has been absolutely fantastic. I love it! It has a creamy texture that is very pleasant to apply. I haven’t yet tried applying it to the whole face, which the product description says you can do, but I will try it soon. I feel that the eye area has gained a nicer texture and radiance. It provides good hydration. I have only used it in the evening since retinol can make the skin more sensitive to the sun. I have supplemented with sunscreen during the day. I actually just went into the store to smell a little... you know, just totally innocent with no plans to buy anything 😇 But then I found this one... and that was game over for me. I had to go back and smell it one more time... and one more time... and suddenly I was standing there wondering if I should just take it home 😅 It reminded me so much of one of my old favorites – Escada Cherry in Japan – which I was totally obsessed with before. So this almost felt like finding an old signature scent I thought was gone. The scent is fresh, sweet, and feminine with juicy cherry notes, soft flowers, and a warm, slightly creamy base that makes it more elegant than just a typical sweet perfume. It really gives a spring and summer feeling. To me, this smells almost identical to the Escada perfume, so it feels almost nostalgic to wear it – in the best way. Big pores and oily skin girlies
I have always struggled with recurring pimples, oily skin, and large pores, but my three holy grails to combat this are: The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence La Roche-Posay Balm B5+ I cleanse my skin once or twice in the evening (depends on how motivated I am), also apply the serum and finish with moisturizer. BUT I do NOT cleanse my skin in the morning, I only apply B5+. It has helped so much with pimples, blackheads on the nose, and especially large pores on the cheeks. The pores are still there as you can see in the picture and I probably won’t get rid of them, but they are significantly smaller than before. My skin has also become very soft and shiny, I often hear that I have a glowing and fresh face. Also, a little side note. Drink a glass of water before you go to bed and 1-2 after you get up. I've really grown fond of this cream! I have combination skin and can quickly get breakouts from some creams, but I haven't experienced that with this one.
