Tested this trio in connection with the LYKO creator deal🤩 and this was such a good hair oil! Heal shampoo and conditioner: I always get comments from hairdressers that my scalp looks so red and irritated, without really understanding why it happens. The shampoo and conditioner prevent dandruff and scalp problems. It is also supposed to be good for hair growth. I have used this series a couple of times now and notice a difference in that my scalp is less irritated🤩 so this was top-notch for me. Does the sunscreen ever slip😬
This particular sunscreen version from Frudia with the misleading name "Velvet fit blurring sun primer" is supposed to be a so-called blurring primer, meaning it should work as a smudged base before foundation and give a velvety surface. I don’t have particularly large pores, although they have suddenly become visible with age, but I thought it might be practical if the sunscreen could tone them down a bit. However, I was skeptical even before trying it, and now after struggling through the entire small 40g tube, I think it can be considered proven that it does not live up to its name😁 I have used it on face, neck, and décolleté, a few times with foundation on top, mostly not since I rarely use it. I have used my usual skincare underneath and once skipped day cream in the T-zone as a test. There was no major difference🙄 ✔️First and foremost, this is not a product that gives any velvety result because it never absorbs. The skin becomes terribly silicone-slick! A real silicone primer gives a COMPLETELY different result. ✔️Secondly, the pores are rather emphasized than blurred. ✔️Thirdly, you can’t wear foundation on top of it because the skin becomes greasy and slippery for about 3-4 hours. Keep in mind that I basically have dry skin. How would it be for someone with oily skin??? See the pictures for my slippery experience! So, no, there will be no repurchase of this. Was a bit desperate for new lashes fast, so I bought a pack of these. Had never heard of the brand before but thought I’d give them a chance.🎀 Negative🥹: - First impression is that they looked a bit too long on the outer lashes. But I don’t like lashes that are too long, so for those who like a bit more dramatic, they’re great. I solved the problem by trimming them a little, and think it turned out pretty good on the fly. - My second problem was that there were a bit too few lashes/they weren’t wide enough for my big eyes. Should have had a few more millimeters to go on, but luckily not a big problem. Fits better on those with slightly smaller eyes. - A bit expensive for single use in my opinion❤️ But will buy again for a special occasion. Positive🥰: - They come with glue already on the lashes, so perfect if you’re on the go and don’t want to mess around with glue etc. I did a combination, so I used bond & seal glue in addition. But after using them side by side, I was actually surprised that I prefer the Essence What A Tint!. 😍 It seems more pigmented, lasts longer on my skin and gives a more natural stained effect. Once blended, it looks like the colour is coming through my skin rather than sitting on top of it. 💗 Really nice and comfortable lip tint!
I was so lucky to get to test this lip tint from MAC, in the color Sneaky Pink, and I’m positively surprised by it! 🫶🏼 I especially love the light formula. It feels very comfortable and light on the lips, doesn’t stick, and doesn’t dry out my lips like I sometimes experience with other lip products. It gives a really nice and natural shine that makes the lips a bit extra juicy ✨💕 I was especially looking forward to the stain effect, and here I must admit that I don’t think it’s quite as noticeable as I had hoped. But I also chose a very delicate color, so that might well be why. I still think it leaves a nice and subtle color on the lips that fits really well with a natural look. And the product is so smart that you can apply it ‘in layers’ for a more intense effect. All in all, I’m really happy with the product and I especially think the comfortable, moisturizing feeling on the lips is a big plus.
