Creamy pencil 👏🏼
I bought this lip liner a while ago and I really really like it! 🫶🏼 It really stays put like a rock on my lips and lasts a long time. This is my first really warm brown shade, so to avoid it being "too much" I use a clear gloss when I wear this color. The only small downside is that it can be a bit tricky to sharpen since the formula is really creamy 😅, but since it stays on so well and the price is ridiculous – it almost gets five stars 💫💫💫💫 I think this works best on dry lips (like many lip liners do), so I always start by applying the liner after I’ve applied my base, then I use setting spray and finally gloss, then it’s perfect 😍 I’ll use it a lot this summer when I get a bit of a tan (or at least fake tan) ☀️🤭 One of the best lip liners I have! Red, redder… yes it got really red 😎❤️
Tomorrow the flight leaves and I think the hair will bleach. The color will fade. That’s why I’m starting with extra everything ☺️🔥 Besides Ruby red, dark brown and Deep copper, I mixed in the Fuchsia/pink shade and not much shampoo in the mix. This is NOT kind to the grout between the tiles in the bathroom (the red sticks and makes it pink) so yesterday I rinsed it out in the big sink in the laundry room. All ways are good except the bad ones 😅 Crazy red and I love it! Here you see LYKO boss gloss swatches. I number the shades from the bottom: 1. Let’s fudge (my favorite shade). It’s also visible in picture two. There you can also see what the applicator looks like. I think it’s a perfect “nude” for everyday, especially together with a lip liner). 🤎 2. Pinkosaurus (the one with the most color). 🩷 3. Birthday suit (the one with the least color, almost transparent. It shifts slightly to light pink). 🤍 4. Cupcake atm. (It resembles Let’s fudge, but it’s a bit more pink. Let’s fudge has a more brown undertone). 🌸 + easy to use + cheap + easy colors to use that match with a lot However, I wouldn’t use these on their own when I like a bit more color. These items were both a restock and some new products to try! Smuuti skin barrier was a must when both cream and a cleanser were needed. I have combination skin and find it hard to find products for all the different areas of my face. But right now I have a routine that suits me pretty well. I bought a new hair mousse because my previous one was finished, as you can see in earlier posts, it wasn’t very good, so trying a brand that is very popular (Umberto Giannini) is really fun! 🤩 I will of course do reviews when the products are running out. I can only give these five out of five! They are awesome! Just the right size and easy to close. Adding some videos and photos of different tests with them. I have tested them in groups of 1-3 at a time while sleeping with them. I haven't tested all four at once since I also sleep on my side, but I imagine one on the right, one on the left, one in front, and one in back is optimal 🤗 The rating applies to the function of the product, and as a base for heatless curls, they are AWESOME. Touch-up in red 🥰
Today it was time to refresh the color a bit. Two washes have been done since the last color treatment and it looked okay but I wanted more “doumpf” 🤗 Four parts Deep copper, four parts Ruby red and one part Dark Brown. Then diluted with gradually more shampoo the higher up on the head I went (three sections). Today I diluted with a regular shampoo from Dove and it was actually easier to distribute than with treatment/conditioner 👍🏻 Then I shampooed twice, applied conditioner and then Schwarzkopf fiber sealer. 🤍 The kit comes in a cute and very spacious bag, which you can use as a toiletry bag or it’s a perfect size for a couple of diapers, wet wipes, and a change of clothes for the little one. 🤍 It also includes soft, good cloths that are gentle on baby and child skin. 🤍 The hairbrush is very suitable for baby hair but is too soft for my children’s hair, who are 2 and 4 years old. 🤍 The baby oil has been tested both in bath water and as a massage oil on child skin. It works very well for both. The oil is relatively economical to use and does not leave the skin sticky. It is also fragrance-free, which is of course a plus. I have also tried it on myself, and I liked it! 🤍 The soap is gentle on child skin and is also fragrance-free. It cleans well without leaving the skin feeling stripped of moisture afterward. I really like this kit; it’s a great gift for mother and child. Perfect for, for example, the diaper cake at a baby shower, as a gift for new parents, or a gift for yourself and your child 🤍 I recommend this! The reason it’s not a full score is that the oil comes in a bottle with a screw cap. Disappointed ~ hard to work with and drying 👎
I really hoped for more from this gloss, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. • Application: It’s a struggle to get any product on the applicator! You have to dip and swipe countless times just to get a somewhat decent layer on the lips. Very time-consuming and frustrating. • Feeling on the lips: Instead of moisturizing, it feels dry and almost like it’s sucking all the moisture out of the lips. Not at all the soft, glossy finish you want. My tip: Skip the Boss Gloss and go for By Lykos Lip Oils instead!
