Relaxing After Shower
This time I tested the Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant from #kerastase, a serum for hair that is weakened & tends to fall out when brushing. #lykoinflutester 👩🦰 I have thin/fine hair with natural waves, which is bleached and quickly gets oily. I have always lost quite a bit of hair in the shower & when brushing. I use silicone-free products (as others tend to weigh my hair down), and often moisturizing/caring masks & leave-ins. 🧴The serum comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a dropper (a bit scary with glass in the bathroom but so far it has gone well). The box has clear instructions. 👶🏼 I have tested the serum on both dry & damp hair, for me damp works best. I dab out a dose (one pump, to the dropper's marking) per section and massage it in. The gel consistency prevents it from running, but for safety, I take the dose for the temples/sides in my hands instead. I don’t feel that the serum weighs my hair down – however, it does get a bit crispy when it dries, but I scrunch it out in a snap! 👃 Quite a strong, floral scent that dissipates quickly. The scent feels a bit luxurious in a way? 🗳️ The box says that Kérastase's clinical tests last for 6 weeks, so after about 4 test weeks I haven’t noticed a huge difference – possibly that I’m losing a bit less hair in the shower now. 💸 I find the product to be economical (2-4 doses per use), and in 2 weeks maybe the difference will show more – but so far the price feels a bit steep. So: easy to use, nice with a little evening massage for the scalp. The absolute biggest difference I notice is that my hair doesn’t get oily as quickly, which I really appreciate. I will use the serum until the bottle is empty, but it will probably not be a purchase for me. (If they do have one that combats oily scalp, let me know! ✨)Translated from swedish

Lovely last step before sleep
Last up among the reviews of lip balm from #labruket is Goodnight Lip Balm No 311, Orange Blossom 🍊 #lykoinflutester • I usually use Eucerin Aquaphor daily and therefore had a good starting point = I have no before/after pictures as I haven't seen any significant difference (like 'oh so dry, but not anymore!'). A few thoughts & info: ⚫ Large, sturdy packaging = harder to drop without noticing. Easier to find in the bag! ⚫ Screw cap = no risk of the cap accidentally coming off in pocket/bag & smearing things ⚫ Sleek design. Small text (understandable!), but all info is readable ‼️ The edge of the tube can be a bit sharp against the lips sometimes, but if you twist the balm up a bit extra, it's not a problem 🙄 Lots of product = 14 g (about 3x more than small/regular), the stick is about 2 cm 🙈 Nice consistency, stays on the lips without feeling sticky 🍊 Pleasant citrus scent, without being overwhelming 😫 ”[…] use as a soothing ritual before bed.” – I can't say anything about whether the orange blossom scent helps one fall asleep faster, because I already fall asleep super quickly, hehh ⏳ After a month, you can hardly see that I've used any = lasts a long time! ♻️ Recyclable tube, 100% natural ingredients, made in Sweden 💸 A lot & good product for the money = high price but still justified I've been using it for just over a month, at least 5 evenings a week, and of the three lip balms I've tested, this is my favorite. I wake up with soft lips, and don't feel like I need to take more/another before I get to work & morning coffee. Recommend!Translated from swedish

Satisfied, hydrated lips
Continuing to review the lip balm from #labruket, now Lip Balm No 017, Almond/Coconut 🌰🤥 #lykoinflutester Starting again with the fact that I usually use Eucerin Aquaphor daily and therefore had a good starting point = I have no before/after pictures as I haven't seen any significant difference (like 'oh how dry, but not anymore!'). Some thoughts & a little info: ⚪ Large, sturdy packaging = harder to drop without noticing. Easier to find in the bag too! ⚪ Screw cap = no risk of the cap accidentally coming off in the bag/pocket & smearing things ⚪ Nice design, small text (understandable!) but all info is readable ‼️ The edge of the tube can be a bit sharp against the lips sometimes, but if you twist the balm up a bit extra, it's not a problem 🙄 Lots of product = 14g, and the stick is about ≈ 2 cm 🙈 Lovely consistency, stays on the lips without feeling sticky. Glossy & nice! 🌰/🤥 Very mild, neutral scent ⏳ Barely noticeable that it's been used = will last a long time ♻️ Recyclable tube, 100% natural ingredients, made in Sweden 💸 A lot, really good product for the money, so I think the price is justified I've used it several times a day and really like it. About halfway through the testing period, my boyfriend got tonsillitis + extremely dry & cracked lips, and then got to take it over. He has a hard time with mess (hand cream, balm, etc.) but thought this felt very pleasant, and has even continued to use it after the illness. 💋 So, 5 stars from both of us!Translated from swedish

Cool Lip Boost
Time for reviews of lip balm from #labruket, first up is SOS Lip Balm No 309, Peppermint ❄️ #lykoinflutester I can start by saying that I usually use Eucerin Aquaphor daily, and therefore already had a good starting point – so I have no before/after pictures as I haven't seen any significant difference (like 'oh, how dry, but not anymore!'). With that out of the way… 🔵 Large, sturdy packaging = harder to drop without noticing 🔵 Screw cap = no risk of the cap accidentally coming off in a bag/pocket & smearing on things 🔵 Nice design, small text (understandable!) but all info is readable ‼️ The edge of the tube can be a bit sharp against the lips, but if you twist the balm up a bit extra, it's not a problem 🙄 Lots of product = 14g, and the stick is about 𝓽 2 cm 🙈 Lovely consistency, stays on the lips for a long time without feeling sticky ❄️ The peppermint is pleasant, feels cooling, and tingles a bit (but not so much that it becomes uncomfortable or bothersome) ⏳ The packaging states that it can be used 1-2 times/day, so it will last a long time ♻️ Recyclable tube, 100% natural ingredients, made in Sweden 💸 A lot, really good product for the money, but I feel like it seems a bit pricey for a lip balm I've used the balm on some mornings when a little refreshing boost was needed, and during work hours when it was stressful – so without breathing exercises (suggested in the product description), but it has given a pleasant feeling regardless! Can absolutely recommend.Translated from swedish

Totally okay, but I’m an oil cleanse girlie
This time I tried the Refreshing Micellar Cleansing Water from #Acasia. 🤩 Combination skin; oily T-zone, sensitive/dry cheeks. Normally, I use oil cleansing for makeup removal and finish with a “regular” cleanser. 🤴 I like that the packaging has a screw cap, which felt safer to take with me on a weekend trip than oil (which usually has a pump). 250 ml is a decent amount, and the price (149kr) feels reasonable. 🧧⚪ I find that the micellar water (on a cotton pad) removes makeup easily & effectively. Waterproof eyeliner was the only thing I had to go over a bit extra to remove completely. I accidentally got a bit in my eyes when I used it directly in my hands, which stung for a bit, so cotton pads are recommended. My cheeks felt a bit tight after use, but since I used face wash right after, it wasn’t a big problem. However, it says in the product description that no rinsing is required, but I couldn’t handle leaving the “residue” on my face. 🌱 Plus points for being vegan & fragrance-free! 🌼 So: effective cleansing, but not perfect for my needs. I’ll stick to oil cleansing if I’m not going traveling! #lykoinflutester (The picture with makeup is what I had used before the video. Edit: eh nah, the video doesn’t seem to have uploaded??)Translated from swedish
