    Good, but nothing special

Good basic cream that moisturizes as it should without irritating the skin. There’s nothing that makes this cream particularly “unique,” that said, I would recommend it if you’re looking for a good moisturizing cream without too many actives that could potentially cause allergic reactions:) #LYKOTESTPILOT #ACASIA

Very good cream for most skin types

I love skincare and try several new skincare products every month🤗 I often order from Lyko and have tried many different products from many different brands. I was lucky and was chosen as a test pilot for Acasia Barrier Resistance Cream, and I actually haven't tested this brand before now. I was therefore very excited! 💖About me: I am 24 years old and have combination and acne-prone skin. In the summer, my skin is the oiliest, but in the winter, it becomes dehydrated, more sensitive with dry patches. I generally have more blemished skin in the summer than in the winter, but I can still quickly react with blemishes from various products. 💖First impression of the cream: I really like this type of dispenser, as it is much more hygienic with a pump compared to a jar. Simple, yet stylish design. I like that it is not in glass, so it won't break if dropped on the floor. 💖Experience with use: Since my skin is acne-prone, I am careful with the ingredient list of the products I use. I was a bit skeptical since this cream contains shea butter, and to what extent it might clog pores and lead to blemished skin is debated. I think the amount it contains probably has a lot to say. However, I did not notice any increased blemishes while using this cream!🤩 I like that the cream is fragrance-free, scent-free, and alcohol-free (Cetearyl alcohol found in the ingredient list is not alcohol/ethanol, but a fatty alcohol that is completely safe for the skin. Cetearyl alcohol is an emulsifier used in oil/water emulsions for better and thicker consistency. In addition to softening, moisturizing, and calming the skin). Barrier Resistance Cream also contains good ingredients that are supposed to strengthen the skin barrier and provide long-lasting moisture. A suitably long ingredient list with useful content - just how I like it! I was afraid the cream would be too oily and thick in consistency, but it surprisingly absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves a matte/satin finish! For creams to absorb well into the skin in general, you obviously need to cleanse the skin morning and night, as well as exfoliate the skin 2-3 times a week. No cream absorbs if the surface is full of oil, dirt, and dead skin cells🤏🏽🤏🏽 The product gives my skin good moisture without feeling oily now in the winter. Areas that are dry/red/sore are calmed, hydrated, and quickly get much better! It also works very well under makeup. 💖Decisive pros and cons for my assessment: ✅Hygienic with pump ✅Compatible for acne-prone and combination skin ✅Fragrance-free, scent-free, and alcohol-free ✅Suitably long ingredient list with useful content ✅Absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling oily ✅Moisturizes, protects, and calms dry and sore areas on the face ❌The consistency of the cream may be too thick for a very oily skin type, which I have in the summer ❌Contains shea butter, which may clog pores for those with acne-prone & oily skin #lykotestpilot #acasia

    Amazing cream for daily use🤍

I have used the product as a day and night cream. It is moisturizing and softening enough to be used as a night cream, but it’s also lightweight and sits under my makeup very well. I have not had any issues with any of my makeup products with this cream underneath. It also sinks into the skin very quickly! The packaging feels like a nice quality product with its ’soft’ and weighty feel. By using the product I have also realised that it is also fit for travelling because of the sturdy mechanism in the pump, so most likely it wouldn’t leak. My skin is very dry (atopic, prone to extreme dryness and eczema during the finnish winters). I have not had any flare ups yet while using this cream. I took a break for a few days when using this and during that time the redness on my face got worse and my skin became itchy. When I started to use this product again the flare up went away. So after just a few weeks of using this cream I can 100% say that it does what it says on the description. Atleast for me it has helped with my skin barrier, hydrates and makes my skin feel so soft! ☁️ I honestly don’t have any negative things to say about the product and will definitely buy it again myself after I run out of the current one 🥰 #LYKOTESTPILOT #ACASIA

    Unfragranced and Swedish-made, love it!

As a #LYKOTESTPILOT, I’ve had the opportunity to test the ”Barrier Resistance Cream” from the brand Acasia Skincare!🤩 Moisturizes really well and feels gentle on the skin! Especially since it’s unfragranced🧼 I have dry skin, especially in the winter, and this moisturizes well! It feels thin when you apply it but feels oily on the skin once it’s absorbed. Absorbs quickly so you don’t feel sticky!❄️ Smells like nothing special, and I like that! A plus is that it’s made in Sweden and has a hygienic pump!🇸🇪 #ACASIA

    Good cream for sensitive skin

I have been one of the lucky ones who got to test Acasias Barrier Resistance Cream! Thank you so much for this, Lyko I am a 29-year-old woman, and I have slightly red, sensitive combination skin that leans towards the dry side - especially in the fall and winter months. I have followed my daily skincare routines for the last three weeks (cleanser, toner, serum, cream, and sunscreen), but swapped out my day and night cream for Acasias Barrier Resistance Cream. + The cream comes in a hygienic pump, in a simple, clean packaging that doesn't make much noise - I really like that + The cream doesn't feel sticky, but round and nice. It is quite thick, but still not greasy upon application. It is easy to spread and absorbs relatively quickly into the skin + The cream has not caused my sensitive skin any stinging, redness, or acne during the trial period +/- The cream is, for my dry skin, not rich enough to be used in the fall and winter months. It gives the skin a light glow and my skin looks nice the first hour after application, but after that, my skin feels dry and tight again. But, I think it will be excellent in the summer months! #LYKOTESTPILOT #ACASIA

Good moisturizing cream to protect the skin!

A cream suitable for young adults that is not too light, but not too thick either. The user experience is pleasant, and the skin feels hydrated. It's good to continue with facial oil on top of this. The packaging is practical and fresh. The scent is not strong and does not cause stinging on the skin! #ACASIA #LYKOTESTPILOT

    Barrier Repairer

I am 29 years old and have sensitive, dry skin that requires proper hydration, especially during the winter months. After testing Acasia's Barrier Resistance Cream for three weeks, I have come to the following conclusions; + The packaging has a hygienic pump that makes it easy to dose the right amount and keep the product fresh longer. + The cream is light in consistency and absorbs quickly, making it smooth to use both in the morning and evening. It doesn't feel sticky, which is a big plus. + It moisturizes my dry skin in a noticeable way and has helped to soothe the sensitivity in my skin. + The product is fragrance-free and dermatologically tested, which I appreciate since my skin easily reacts negatively to strong scents or active ingredients. - For my dry skin during the winter cold, I would have liked the cream to be a bit more "rich" in consistency. Even though it worked well in my daily use, I needed to supplement it with a thicker night cream to avoid tightness the next morning. In conclusion, this is a good all-around cream that delivers on most points, especially for strengthening the skin barrier and providing hydration. For those of us with really dry skin, it may be necessary to combine it with a richer cream in winter, but as a base product, it works really well. #LYKOTESTPILOT #ACASIA

I was so lucky to be able to test this cream via Lyko as a test person. I think it moisturized really well and was pleasant to apply on the skin. I mostly used it as a night cream and thought it worked really well for me, and it also worked really well under foundation #lykotestpilot #ACASIA

    Genius cream for rebuilding

I have acted as a test pilot for this product. I have been extremely satisfied with the cream, which has worked as a rebuilding care in both my morning and evening routine. The cream is not greasy, but provides good moisture for damaged skin that is now sensitive. I have every intention of using this cream until it is empty. Barrier Resistance Cream

As a Lyko test pilot, I have used the Acasia Skincare Barrier Resistance Cream for two weeks, both morning and night. I am 31 years old and have combination skin, which means my skin can be both oily and dry in different areas. My first impression of the cream was positive: it has a light consistency, a neutral scent that is not too overpowering, and it comes in a practical pump bottle that makes it easy to dose the cream in the right amount. These are qualities I appreciate in a skincare product 🤖 Unfortunately, I found that the cream did not work optimally for my skin. After a few days, my skin started to feel sensitive, with redness, sores, and rough patches; it also felt tight; as if my skin lacked moisture and elasticity. Additionally, the cream had a tendency to sit on top of the skin instead of absorbing properly. This made it feel less comfortable to use 🤚 Although the product has several good qualities and may work for other skin types, it unfortunately did not suit me. #LYKOTESTPILOT #ACASIA

    Not moisturizing enough

I had the honor of receiving this product for testing from Lyko, and I have been testing it for three weeks. I expected it to be moisturizing and nourishing, and I was excited to try it for free. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations at all. For my own skin, the cream felt way too silicone-like, and it did not moisturize my winter-dried skin sufficiently at all. My skin felt really tight and uncomfortable right after application, and when I woke up in the morning, my skin was dry and even a bit irritated. Although I have combination skin, it can get very dry in winter and requires nourishing and thicker creams to stay hydrated. Silicone products do not suit my skin at all, as they dry it out too much. I did not notice any positive effects on my skin after using the product, and I felt that it actually did nothing but dry it out. Therefore, I give the cream only one star, unfortunately, it does not go further for me. #lykotestpilot #acasia

    Barrier Resistance Cream

I had the chance to test the Barrier Resistance Cream, and I have never tried anything from Acasia before, but now I have been using their Barrier Resistance Cream daily for two weeks, and I am pleasantly surprised so far. The cream has a rich yet light consistency, and I find it resembles a silicone-based primer in its smoothness, which means it doesn't get sticky on the skin at all. It feels soothing on my sensitive skin, which often reacts to weather changes and stress. After application, the skin feels soft, hydrated, and significantly more balanced. I noticed a noticeable improvement in the skin's resistance to dryness and irritation. The cream has a neutral/fragrance-free scent. The pump is very good, and it is a sleek packaging. Overall, this is a fantastic product for strengthening the skin's barrier and providing long-lasting hydration. I will definitely continue to use it. #Lykotestpilot #Acasia

    Mess-free barrier cream ✨🌫️

I have had the chance to test Acasia's Barrier Resistance Cream for three weeks, which is an effective cream designed to strengthen the skin barrier. It provides quick and long-lasting hydration without feeling the slightest bit sticky. I, the tester, am 33 years old with combination acne-prone skin. 🙋‍♀️ + Absorbs quickly, the cream disappears into the skin in 2 seconds, it softens the skin without leaving it oily + Moisturizing, with ingredients like urea, squalene, and PHA acid, it provides long-lasting moisture and strengthens the skin barrier + Fragrance-free and dermatologically tested, making it a nice option even for sensitive skin - The packaging, the sticker is not applied correctly and is "bubbly", which unfortunately makes it feel cheap - Shea butter can be comedogenic, and if you are sensitive to comedogens like I am, this product would have been prioritized away at purchase due to the ingredient list It is, after all, a really nice product, especially now in winter when the barrier suffers from weather and wind. Therefore, it gets 4/5 stars from me, thanks Lyko and Acasia for giving me the chance to test. 🤖🌫️ #LYKOTESTPILOT #ACASIA

    Did not suit my skin

I was part of the Lyko test group to try this product. Unfortunately, this product did not suit my skin at all. In the morning, my face felt really tight, and the product caused redness on my cheeks. I gave the product to my friend, who praised it as good and odorless. I have combination skin, and generally, both oil and cream work well for my face. The product itself is in a convenient size and in an easy-to-use container. #lykotestpilot #acasia

    Has significantly improved my skin.

I received the product for testing, and I have tested it for the last few weeks, morning and evening, without makeup and under makeup. I haven't used my usual serums during the testing period to better assess the cream. I really like the white pump bottle, which has a simple, functional, minimalist Nordic design. I can't get my hands on the cream itself. The consistency is a light cream that doesn't grease at all and feels absolutely fantastic soft and light on the skin. My skin is 4-fold combination normal, oily, sensitive, and dry at once, but it has simply become so nice and more even. Since I started using the cream, I can see that it evens out my skin tone, my skin has become really hydrated and soft, and my makeup sits so beautifully on top of it. I have tested the cream with both mineral powder and foundation, and it worked excellently, a'la a primer. Lastly, I want to emphasize that it fits really well with the season, where my skin otherwise gets irritated by radiator heat, cold, and the weather's changeability. #LYKOTESTPILOT #acasia

    Good barrier cream

I got the product for testing and didn't know what to expect from it at first, as I haven't used Acasia products before. However, the first impression was good, the product is packed in a hygienic pump bottle, and with one pump, just the right amount of product came out. The jar itself is simply elegant, white, and fresh. The cream itself has a somewhat thick consistency, but it absorbed really well into the skin and didn't leave a greasy feeling. I have sensitive combination skin and suffer from rosacea, so my skin can't handle just anything. The cream is fragrance-free, which is a big plus for me due to my skin's sensitivity. I've been using the product now for about a week every evening and would like to give it a full 5 stars because otherwise, the cream feels really good, but in the morning my skin feels a bit tight after this, even though the product is supposed to be a moisturizing barrier cream. However, I always apply toner and a couple of different serums (soothing and moisturizing) under the cream. Maybe my skin just can't tolerate the cream because it contains mild acids (PHA). My skin does look brighter and more even in the mornings, and it hasn't irritated my rosacea either. I will continue using the product, but maybe I won't use it every day, just because of that tightness. All in all, I would say it's a really good cream 🤩 #LYKOTESTPILOT #ACASIA

Totally okay, but I’m an oil cleanse girlie

This time I tried the Refreshing Micellar Cleansing Water from #Acasia. 🤩 Combination skin; oily T-zone, sensitive/dry cheeks. Normally, I use oil cleansing for makeup removal and finish with a “regular” cleanser. 🤴 I like that the packaging has a screw cap, which felt safer to take with me on a weekend trip than oil (which usually has a pump). 250 ml is a decent amount, and the price (149kr) feels reasonable. 🧧⚪ I find that the micellar water (on a cotton pad) removes makeup easily & effectively. Waterproof eyeliner was the only thing I had to go over a bit extra to remove completely. I accidentally got a bit in my eyes when I used it directly in my hands, which stung for a bit, so cotton pads are recommended. My cheeks felt a bit tight after use, but since I used face wash right after, it wasn’t a big problem. However, it says in the product description that no rinsing is required, but I couldn’t handle leaving the “residue” on my face. 🌱 Plus points for being vegan & fragrance-free! 🌼 So: effective cleansing, but not perfect for my needs. I’ll stick to oil cleansing if I’m not going traveling! #lykoinflutester (The picture with makeup is what I had used before the video. Edit: eh nah, the video doesn’t seem to have uploaded??)

    Highly recommend!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this wonderful product from #acasia. My skin is a bit on the drier side and quite sensitive. I've often had issues with micellar waters as they often irritate my skin; the only thing that works for me is oil cleansers and similar products, but I finally found a micellar water that works well! My skin feels very hydrated afterward instead of dry like other micellar waters feel. Previously, I felt stressed about moisturizing my skin as it’s so uncomfortable when it’s so dry and tight, but that’s not a problem I have with this product, which is soothing. It easily removes makeup and gets the job done! The price is also reasonable, so I really have nothing negative to say about the product as the design of the bottle is top-notch!

    Ok makeup remover

#LYKOINFLUTESTER & #ACASIA I’ve been so lucky to test this makeup remover! Right from the start, I didn’t really have high expectations, as I’m not a fan of all-in-one products. A bit about my skin: ✨ slightly sensitive, but mostly normal with a few dry patches ✨ hormonal acne I won’t be attaching any pictures of my skin as I haven’t seen any change in my skin since I started using this makeup remover. I’ve used this as a regular makeup remover, which I remove with oil cleanser and water-based cleanser since I can’t stand leaving makeup remover on my skin overnight. I feel like this didn’t take off as much makeup as the one I usually use that has oil in it. This is pretty obvious considering that oil breaks down makeup, but even after two cotton pads, I still didn’t feel like the makeup was properly removed. I also haven’t dared to try this to remove my waterproof mascara as I found it very harsh against regular skin makeup. I also felt that this left my skin with a tight, almost stripped, feeling. Something I personally am not a fan of. I also tried using this as a toner after I cleansed my skin, but got the same effect then. I see a lot of people have liked this, so it’s a shame that it falls to a 1 for me. It works okay as a makeup remover, but I will be going back to the one I usually use. I’ve tried to add pictures, but the app is failing and I can’t post the entry, but I’ll try again later🙈

    Comfortable and really good product

I have tested the refreshing micellar water from #acasia as a #lykoinflutester and am very satisfied with the product I have combination skin, which in winter tends to become dry, and which dislikes overly oily products. I have used the product morning and night, where in the morning I have only used the micellar water from acasia, and in the evening I have used it after my regular cleansing. I rarely (almost never) wear makeup, and haven't done so since I started testing this product. So I can't unfortunately comment on how it works to remove makeup residue I love using it even after my regular cleansing, it feels like I'm "cleaning up" after the cleansing product that may not have completely rinsed off when I washed. I also use it over my neck and chest, so I feel incredibly clean when I'm done The packaging has a nice, sleek design. I like the opening that allows me to get just the right amount of product (so a liiiitle hole, not a big one so I accidentally pour out half the bottle). The product is fragrance-free. I appreciate that a lot! I feel clean and fresh after using it. I experience a cooling sensation, love it! Reasonable price for the amount of product Incredibly convenient not having to rinse the product off (I am a convenience No negative criticism to offer

    Effective!

I have tried #Acasia Micellar water and can recommend it to those who want a simple and gentle way to care for their skin. Here are some pros and cons of the product in my opinion: Pros: 1. Gentle on the skin: The mild formula makes micellar water suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin, without causing irritation. ❤️‍🦹 2. Effective makeup remover: The product quickly and effectively removes makeup, even waterproof mascara, without the need for hard rubbing, which is very important to me so that the lashes are not damaged. 💄 3. Refreshes the skin: It gives an instant refresh to the skin and leaves it clean and hydrated. 🧖‍♀️ 4. No rinsing needed: It’s nice to skip rinsing the product off after use, saving both time and water.💦 Cons: - A bit pricier: The price may be a bit higher compared to other more affordable options on the market, but the quality justifies the investment. #lykoinflutester 🌸

    Ambivalent

I have been testing Avasia Skincare Refreshing micellar water for a few weeks now. This is supposed to cleanse the skin and remove makeup without needing to rinse it off. I appreciate anything that can simplify my skincare routine, so I was excited to try this. My skin is Nordic, dry, and sensitive, and I quickly get perioral dermatitis (eczema around the mouth). The bottle is large, with a lot of product for the price, and has a minimalist look. It gets extra points for having no scent. It’s easy to use, as it has a small hole on top that allows you to easily pour some product onto a cotton pad. It cleans very well, and my skin doesn’t feel dry afterward. When it comes to results, I’m a bit torn. For me, it didn’t work to use this several days in a row. My skin barrier became irritated and damaged. But it works excellently for those evenings when I’m too tired to do a full cleanse with my regular cleanser. So the conclusion is that for my sensitive skin, it’s not suitable for everyday use, but it can definitely be in the cabinet for those days when things need to go a bit quicker. #lykoinflutester #acasia
