I didn't have very high expectations for this since I thought it was probably just a regular "hype" product, But I actually have to say that I am positively surprised. I want to add that I don't have any age wrinkles or similar since I am young. But I do have some lines around my eyes (which is completely normal) as well as a laugh line, if you want to call it that. I've used this for a few weeks and think it tightens the skin very well. It has reduced my lines and the skin feels generally smoother. I can imagine it does even more if you have mature skin. I would say this serum is a bit mediocre. It is definitely good but thereās no wow feeling overall. Not good for acne
I bought this a long time agoā¦ And as you can see, itās almost finished BUTā¦ unfortunately, this didnāt work at all for me. I have slightly acne-prone skin, but nothing severe. I read so many positive things about this, especially during winter when the air gets colder and drier. It felt like a thick blanket over my entire face. The next day I woke up with lots of small bumps all over my face. Of course, I thought maybe my skin needed to get used to it, so I waited a few days and tried again. But the exact same thing happened. My skin simply canāt handle this heavy texture. So be careful with this if you also tend to get clogged pores. If you have very dry skin, this will be great. It ended up being a hand cream to use it up. La Roche Posay is not cruelty-free either, which might be good to know. If you are strictly vegan or require independent cruelty-free certifications (like Leaping Bunny), this is worth keeping in mind, as the brand still lacks such a formal stamp.
