Yep, whether I'm sitting at home working or working at the office, there are two recurring things that are on the desk. FRAGRANCE - at home, there are always more to choose from, depending on my mood. Lancome is obviously a favorite, but look.. Herrera is here too. HAND/BODY LOTION - as someone with dry skin, this is a must. I might need to consider starting with some moisturizer or something for the face? Maybe more for the desk drawer at work? Ö zenit eau de toilette. Nice and sturdy bottle with good pysch, the box it comes in could be prettier, it feels cheap and boring. The scent is described as white flowers, tropical, fruity scent. The notes are Fruity tones White flowers, jasmine Monoi oil. I don't think it's anywhere near the description, it's more on the heavier and powdery vanilla-like side in its scent. I don't experience anything tropical or monoi. I guess either you fall in love with it or you dislike the scent. It has good longevity. Yesterday I tried this foundation from Lancome. I don’t buy an expensive foundation “on a whim” but I want to test them first, and I got a little sample of this one. I like it, but honestly, it reminds me a lot of Lumene’s Cc-cream in coverage, maybe liiiiiitle more covering but not much. The shade 220C worked well since I haven’t used any BUS, but if I were to buy it, I would probably need a darker one to mix with. On my eyelids, I have a taupe/gray-purple-beige eyeshadow pencil from Danish GOSH, and it was really nice and seems to be long-lasting. It needs to be tested more! Unfortunately, it seems that this one isn’t sold here at Lyko, but there are some older products available here (I assume since I bought it in Copenhagen and they should have the newest ☺️ I also bought a green eyeshadow pencil, a brown “duo-cream eyeshadow” where one is matte and the other is glittery, as well as an eyeshadow palette that I will swatch here since it’s sold at Lyko! I’m extra curious about the green shade in the palette (which looks more gray on Lyko’s site). The fastest and easiest morning routine
Saw someone who posted a natural look that involved a large amount of products. My natural look when I don't really feel like it and think it’s good enough if I'm not doing anything special consists only of mascara and lip gloss. Creams and such get the face before bedtime. But why double mascaras? Lancome's Idole is fantastic for separating the lashes, no clumps, so if you have nice long lashes, you’re almost guaranteed to be good just with that. I get "natural lashes" in okay length and color from quite short and especially very pale. The shape of the mascara also makes it so it doesn't roll off the sink and acts as a stopper. The only negative is that it gets a bit too natural with just this mascara. I usually want a bit more volume, and then I tend to choose an additional Lancome mascara. + separation + clump-free + lasts all day and can be built up - no volume, but it’s not a volumizing mascara But now it’s finished, so I’ve switched to xlash mascara that I got in the lyko lovables posh playa. Xlash mascara is a bit more of a minus. It clumps a bit too easily, and after a day of use, the mascara easily comes off in clumps from the lashes. So I would actually recommend this more for use only over a shorter period and not for all-day use. You absolutely cannot build it up with more like you can with Lancome's mascaras, because then it gets clumpy and lumpy. + good color and volume - tends to harden on the lashes, so it comes off in clumps in the afternoon/evening. - tends to get clumpy if you apply several layers The routine ends with a simple swipe of Artdeco lip wounder or another lip gloss. I used to use Lancome's juicy tubes before and saw now that they seemed to be coming back. Maybe that will be the next purchase? Fantastic gift for a youth
Unusually long for this to still be on sale. I’ve read that many don’t consider the makeup trendy enough, but Lancôme’s mascaras are just the best. It’s just a shame it wasn’t a full size. Artdeco’s lip serum is both pretty and pleasant to use. The hickape is nice, and there are more products that ensure you still get full value for your payment and more. I’m glad you can fill in a bit of base layer. I bought an extra one that I’m going to give as a Christmas gift to a 12-year-old who will love me for getting her lots of nice makeup and expensive dry shampoos she otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford.
