I had the honor of testing Lyko's new k-beauty brand #mamonde! Their Mint Cleansing Balm is the first step in the routine I have tried. The product has, as you can see, a super cute design that looks so nice in the bathroom. The product has a natural mild and pleasant scent of mint leaves. I have tried several cleansing balms before, including from Xlash and Clean it Zero, but the consistency of this one was something else. Even though the product is compact, it was soft and easy to use and glided on like butter. Well on the skin, it absorbed quickly in a way I haven't seen any other cleansing balm do. Instead of sitting on top of the skin, the product worked its way into the skin, and it felt like it was exfoliating deeply. It's hard to find products that work on my skin since I have dry skin that tends not to absorb products. Afterwards, my skin felt clean and soft. Unfortunately, it was a travel size I received, so I haven't been able to see any long-term changes. I had the honor of testing Lyko's new k-beauty brand #mamonde! Getting to test something that is supposed to minimize pores has really been something I've been looking forward to. The product has, as you can see, a super cute design that looks so nice in the bathroom. The packaging is easy to use and doesn't make a mess. The cream is easy to apply and work into the skin and melts in quickly. However, the product has an interesting scent as it is probably unscented. If you are sensitive to that, this is your warning, but the scent doesn't last long. I have dry skin with especially pores on my nose but also continuing up towards the T-zone. In the short time I've used this product, I've noticed that the pores on the side of my nose have shrunk or completely disappeared. The biggest change was noticed when I stopped using the product for a week and three new pimples appeared on all parts of the T-zone. Then I of course resumed using the cream, which after just two days made the pimples reduce or disappear. The product has, as you can see, a super cute design that looks so nice in the bathroom. The packaging is made for easy application as it has a pouring spout. The face mask has a light consistency that absorbs easily and quickly into the skin and gives a natural glow. It has a mild neutral scent that gives it a luxurious feel. I personally have dry skin that needs a lot of hydration, especially now in winter, but can easily get pimples from the wrong product. That's why I was hesitant when I tried this product, but how wrong I was!! This has definitely become a new step in my routine that I will continue with. My skin feels hydrated much longer even now as we approach the colder months. The lip gloss is really nice and gives a lovely shine that feels soft on the lips. The color 009 Topaz works super well to use together with a lip pencil, and the color becomes natural but still a bit glowy. The transparent, glittery color 001 Pearl on the other hand feels more grainy in texture and doesn't look nearly as nice on the lips as Topaz. No Long-Lasting Moisture
This product initially gives a soft and caring feel. It feels smooth and comfortable on the lips upon application and provides a short-term moisture boost. Unfortunately, the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long, and after a while, the lips feel dry again. Perfect for a quick refresh, but not quite sufficient for long-lasting moisture. Can cause breakouts
A soft and moisturizing toner that immediately soothes and softens the skin. It feels creamy without being sticky and gives a nice glow. Perfect if you want extra moisture right after cleansing. What I notice, however, is that I get breakouts more easily when I use it regularly. It has a sweet fruity scent that will be perfect for spring and summer, but of course, you can wear it all year round. Perfect to wear it alone or together with another perfume. My only complaint is that the scent of these mists, like many others, doesn't last all day and needs to be reapplied instead. Best cleanser I have ever tried!
I have now tried 3 new products from #mamonde that #lykotestpilot and the combination of these products has been absolutely fantastic. I will try to distinguish which products gave the results, but there is a bit of overlap. Of the 3 products I tried, this one definitely stood out the most! The product's texture feels like a “balm” when you take it out, and when you rub it in, it becomes more oily. I have never tried a similar cleanser before but was positively surprised. At first, it felt like I needed to use a lot to actually get it over my whole face and loosen up my makeup, but you really don’t need to. When you add more and more water, everything loosens up, but it can take a little extra time than with normal cleansers. When you use it to remove makeup, mascara can be a bit difficult to get off, but it works. I always double cleanse afterwards to ensure that my skin is completely clean, but it feels clean after just this one, and there’s no weird feeling from the cleanser itself that lingers. My skin: My skin always feels dry after cleanser and can then become very oily throughout the day. I also have very acne-prone skin and break out from almost all new skincare products, but this one has worked SO WELL for me! It doesn’t get dry and feels completely clean afterwards. Since I started using this, my skin has become much, much softer and smoother. My pores are basically gone, and it feels so smooth and fresh. Even when I skipped using this for a few days, my skin still felt much healthier than before I started using it. It really delivers results that last, and my skin has never felt this fresh, soft, and glowing! With the combination of all 3 products, I haven’t had any acne breakouts, and what I usually always have has actually gotten much better! I think it’s mainly because of this, with how deeply and thoroughly clean my skin feels after using it. I used a travel-size (7ml) and initially thought the price was a bit high for how much I needed to use, but I was completely wrong. After 4 weeks of almost daily use morning and night, I still have product left. I got two samples of this when I bought from Medik8 and tested it for a little over a month before I bought a full size. And I’m so glad I did 🥰 🍶 The bottle is pretty and decorates the bathroom well 🤗 The pump works well and is hygienic. A light pump is enough for about a pea-sized amount for the whole face and neck. 💦 The cream is soft and lovely on the skin and absorbs easily. I can feel how it works, and it tingles a little on the skin. But not at all unpleasant, just that you can feel it working. It works well with all my other products, and I use it morning and night. The effect: my skin, which has been in a bit of a personal crisis for the past few months, has finally returned to its old self! One might have thought it was a noisy teenager with personality disorders.. But now it finally feels better 😃 This has also helped restore the skin's old pleasant state! The skin is balanced and free from the teenager's unpleasant breakouts and mood swings 😝 My lines are less visible, and even the pores have retreated into the background! I really think this scrub is super good! It effectively removes dead skin and makes the skin much softer and fresher after each use. I usually use it 1-2 times a week depending on the season and notice a big difference in both texture and glow in the skin. I was unfortunately disappointed with this body lotion. The consistency was very watery and it didn't feel particularly moisturizing on the skin.
