Luxurious, but not a 100% matchโฆ
I already had an absolute favorite when it comes to summer perfumes. Itโs called Monoi and is from a French company that has been doing mail order sales for a long time. Long before the internet existed. ๐ We can call the company Y.R., because maybe we shouldnโt name-drop other companies on Lykoโs platform? ๐๐ Anyway, I loved that perfume. But I didnโt think it had long-lasting power on the skin. It was also an edt, so thatโs not so surprising. I googled and had a conversation with Googleโs AI. And it was the tiare flower that made it smell so fantastic. And I found, among other things, this one from DKNY, which could be an alternative. โบ๏ธ I can say there was a big discount when I bought it about 4 weeks ago. I think I paid 1178 SEK for it, and then it wasnโt a hard decision whether to buy it or not. RRP 1800 SEK for 100 ml isnโt completely extreme for a high-end perfume. But the sum of money is much bigger than 1178 SEK, so I thought it over once, twice, and three times. And of course, much better to buy with a discount if there is one. โบ๏ธ So, the packaging! HOW luxurious? And the bottle! Luxury, luxury, luxury! The bottle is incredibly beautiful! ๐คฉ Properly heavy (considering how thick the bottom is), and it "fits well" in the hand. The cap is magnetic. Which I have never experienced before. So to the scent. โบ๏ธ Yes, itโs a nice and luxurious scent. You can tell itโs an EDP. The longevity on the skin is much longer. I donโt really think itโs a bad scent, but thereโs something about it that makes me think itโs heavy. I googled (of course ๐ ). And Google said: the reason for this is that it has a base of cashmere wood, amber, and vetiver. Which gives a warm, deep, almost spicy feeling. Which is different from monoi, which is pure, sunny, and airy. Anyway. Itโs not a bad scent. It was just a little too heavy for me, who prefers lighter scents.
