Smooth but a bit too light for me 🌙
I had quite high expectations for this night cream, especially since it's called Night Balm, so I imagined a slightly thicker and creamier product. But it’s significantly lighter in texture than I thought. However, it’s incredibly smooth! It feels very pleasant to apply and spreads so nicely on the skin. Unfortunately, the hydration wasn’t quite enough for me. I tried using it as the last step in my evening routine but actually woke up feeling like my skin was dry. That’s not something I usually experience very often, since I have fairly balanced skin with a slightly oilier T-zone. I've been using this cream for a while and I'm really satisfied ☺️ It's so smooth and moderately moisturizing without feeling greasy or sticky. Therefore, I think it's perfect to combine with sunscreen afterwards since it doesn't feel heavy on the skin! Moisturizing but not particularly economical 💧🤔
I have now tested ACO's new Purifying Booster Day & Night Serum and have to say that I am a bit torn about this one. It definitely feels like a nice serum, but not quite what I'm looking for. The first thing I noticed is the consistency; it's very thin for my taste. I also don't find it particularly economical; instead of one pump like I usually take from a regular serum, it feels like I need to press about 3 times on this one to get the right amount! 😅 However, it feels moisturizing on the skin and absorbs quickly, which I really like. It doesn't leave an uncomfortable feeling and is therefore very easy to combine with the rest of the skincare routine, both morning and evening. It also gets bonus points for the packaging! Very basic
💙As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this cream from #aco! 💙 This is a nice and pleasant night cream that above all does what I expect from a regular moisturizing cream. It feels soft and hydrating on the skin and works well in the evening, without feeling uncomfortably heavy or greasy. However, I didn’t feel it did much beyond moisturizing. The ingredients are quite simple, and for me, it wasn’t enough as the only product in my evening routine. I will probably need to complement it with other serums and active ingredients, for example for anti-aging. I also didn’t notice any particular changes in skin texture or pores that I could link specifically to the night cream. When I started the test period, I had an acne breakout along my jawline. After about three weeks, it had completely healed, which you can see in my before and after photos, and I didn’t feel the cream caused any new breakouts. So my skin seemed to do well with it even when it was more acne-prone. The cream is supposed to be exfoliating, which I can be a bit sensitive to and usually don’t reach for in products I use daily, but I experienced no problems even though I used it every night for four weeks. Maybe it could conflict if I use other active ingredients. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the cream, it’s nice, moisturizing, and worked well on my skin, but for me, it feels a bit too basic for me to buy it again. I would have liked a bit more than just hydration from a night cream. But for a regular night cream for maybe younger, acne-prone skin, it’s great! One of the products I recently got to try as #LYKOINFLUTESTER is #aco’s new Face Purifying Night Balm; which is a night cream that should hydrate the skin but also make it clearer and balanced. About me and my skin: I am 20 years old and have oily/combination skin. I have had some issues with pimples and pores over the years, and products with perfume often don’t work so well for me. First impression: The packaging was basically identical to the day cream: minimalist and easy to use. So far so good! 🤗 The texture was nice – a bit richer than the day cream but still pleasant. What attracts me is that it says blemish control, while also being nourishing and soothing, which sounds exactly like what I need in a night cream. Result: I haven’t reacted to it like I can with some products – helps that it’s perfume-free and non-comedogenic. Good to get moisture without waking up feeling like my skin is super oily. Good, but not fantastic
This time I had the honor as #LYKOINFLUTESTER to test some new skincare products from #aco, including this Face Purifying Booster Serum (BHA). It is described as a multifunctional serum with BHA (Salicylic Acid) that is supposed to even out, soothe, and strengthen the skin as well as prevent impurities. About me and my skin: I have oily/combination skin and have had some problems with pimples and many impurities. My skin doesn’t tolerate much perfume, and sometimes when I use products with active ingredients, my skin barrier can’t quite handle it. 😣 First impression: The packaging is nice and sleek, but also easy to use. The serum is light and has low viscosity – it almost feels like applying water to the skin in my opinion! Result: A bit scary sometimes with active ingredients, but this did not destroy my skin barrier. Fair price, but I think there are better and cheaper serums – at least for me. It didn’t do more than other serums have done for my skin; moisturized a bit and reduced some of my pores. And unlike some skincare products, at least my skin didn’t get worse from this. Moisturizing!
💙As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this product from #aco! 💙 I was actually very positively surprised by this day cream. Since it is designed for oilier and blemished skin, I expected a fairly light cream with little moisture, but it moisturized much better than I thought. The skin felt soft and hydrated without the cream feeling heavy or greasy on the skin. What I especially liked was how the skin looked throughout the day. I felt it smoothed the skin a bit and that fine lines became less noticeable, almost as if the skin became a bit more “plumped.” It also absorbed nicely and worked well as a day cream without the skin feeling overloaded. It worked great under makeup and the skin didn’t look dry with makeup on! When I started testing the product, I also had a fairly noticeable acne breakout along the jawline. After about three weeks, it had completely healed, which you can see in my before and after pictures, and I didn’t get any new major breakouts during that time. Of course, I can’t say that the day cream alone did this, but the fact that it contains vitamin C may have helped minimize pigmentation spots after the pimples. Overall, a day cream that surprised me, especially when it comes to moisture and the smoothing feeling. 💙As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this serum from #aco!💙 The consistency is almost like water, and the serum fully absorbs into the skin, which I really liked. It leaves no sticky residue at all. I didn’t get any new acne breakouts while using it, and the acne breakout I had along my jaw when I started the test completely healed after about three weeks, which you can see in my before and after pictures. However, I’m more doubtful about the effect on blackheads and sebaceous filaments. Even though the serum contains BHA, I didn’t notice any improvement in my blackheads and almost felt that my sebaceous filaments became more prominent. Of course, I can’t say for sure that it was because of the serum. For the acne, my experience was positive, but I had expected more effect on clogged pores from a BHA serum. I have tested other similar serums that are stronger or better formulated. However, I do feel that I didn’t get as many pigment spots from the breakout, which this serum may have contributed to along with the day and night creams that are also supposed to have exfoliating effects! My latest assignment as #lykoinflutester has been to test some of #aco's new products in their "Face Purifying" series; including this Face Purifying Day Cream. This is a day cream that is supposed to suit all skin types and is meant to hydrate, strengthen the skin barrier, and give clearer skin! A bit about me and my skin: I am 20 years old and have oily/combination skin. I've struggled quite a bit over the years with pimples and pores, and products with perfume are a no-go. Sometimes when I use products with active ingredients, my skin barrier can't quite handle it and my skin becomes very tight. Experience: My first impression was that the cream's packaging was simple and easy to use. The cream's texture was pleasant and absorbed well into the skin. Result: Good, but nothing special. It hasn't given me more pimples or pores compared to what I used before, but it hasn't reduced them significantly either. But nothing to complain about! Good day cream if you're on a budget! I will use it up but not buy it again. The glass bottle gives a luxurious impression, but the pump does not. The serum is watery and easy to massage into the skin. As a Lyko Influtester, I have had the opportunity to test the Face Purifying Night Balm from ACO. Night creams have sometimes been part of my skincare routine but not as frequently as I would have liked. Night creams have sometimes been used because I found it easier to use a night cream for hydration regardless of whether it absorbed quickly into the skin or not. I have some oilier zones and drier zones on my face. The Purifying Night Balm from ACO absorbs quickly into the skin and does not leave it sticky or greasy. It comes in a convenient packaging where it is easy to apply the right amount of product directly. The texture of the product is moderately firm and slightly greasier than the day cream but very easy to apply. It has no scent, which makes it suitable for everyone. Nice and lightweight serum
As a Lyko Influtester, I had the opportunity to try the Face Purifying Booster Serum from ACO. Serum is rarely a daily part of my skincare routine but a nice companion to both day and night creams. I have some oilier areas on my face and a few drier spots. The consistency of the serum is very light and absorbs quickly into the skin after application. It comes in a nice packaging, but the application can be a bit tricky as I feel the nozzle didn’t quite work well with the loose consistency. It has no distinct scent, which makes it suitable for everyone. Since it absorbs quickly into the skin, it works well under creams. I combined it with ACO’s Purifying Night Balm, which has made my skin look more refreshed in the morning and also reduced the visibility of pores. Nice day cream
As a Lyko Influtester, I have had the opportunity to try the Face Purifying Day Cream from ACO. I'm usually not a big fan of using day creams because I don't always feel that the cream absorbs quickly enough into the skin and it can leave a greasy layer. This in turn makes the skin look worse than it usually does without day cream. I normally have quite oily skin in some areas and drier in others. Regarding ACO's day cream, it's the opposite. In my opinion, it absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves the skin non-sticky. It has become a pleasant companion in my daily skincare. It comes in a good package where it's easy to get out a suitable amount of product quickly. The consistency of the cream is light and quick to apply. A big plus is that I feel the pores have reduced slightly or at least are less visible. For me, who is very busy, it has fit well into the daily routine. How it works under makeup I dare not comment on as I currently rarely use makeup. As a Lyko influencer, I got to test this serum, here is my opinion I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, dry cheeks, and it is also somewhat sensitive. Therefore, I hoped this serum would be a good addition to my skincare routine. There is really a lot that makes this product incredibly pleasant to use. First of all, I really like the bottle – it’s super nice, feels handy, and looks great in the bathroom cabinet. As a #influtester, I got to test the purifying series from #aco. I used the combination of booster serum, day cream, and night cream over a period. I have combination skin with both dry and oily areas and often get pimples even though I’m 36 years old, but I choose to think of them as teenage pimples 😉 I don’t have sensitive skin by definition, but I’m under investigation for MCAS as my skin can flare up unprovoked. This tends to happen when I change my skincare routine, but to my great joy, I didn’t react at all when testing this series! 🎉 First impression is that it’s a very sleek series with nice packaging. The fact that it’s fragrance-free is a plus since it also suits sensitive noses, so to speak. It would have gotten an even higher rating if the night cream had a pump bottle! But the cap is still easy to screw off and on. A little goes a long way, and that’s common for the whole series; you don’t need much product to spread it over the entire face. Unlike the rest of the series, I unfortunately felt that the night cream left a greasy layer on the skin. Granted, it’s good that it’s a bit richer if, like me, you toss and turn like a helicopter in bed 🙈, so the skin feels moisturized when you wake up. However, it still feels greasy even after the whole night, and I would have preferred to feel only moisturized without the greasy feeling in the morning, so to speak. It’s hard to separate the reviews when it comes to results since I used the series in combination. But what I noticed was that I initially got worse with more pimples, which I think is a completely normal reaction from the skin regardless of when you change your skincare routine. But it settled down after a while and went back to normal. Unfortunately, it’s normal for me to have some pimples, so it neither got better nor worse compared to before. Price-wise, I would say it’s a very good price for the amount you get. Will I switch my routine to this? Doubtful, since I didn’t get better results than my usual routine gives me, but I will use up all the products.
