As one of Lyko's Influtesters, I got to try this product and my opinion about it is 100% my own. ✨ My age and skin type: 36 years old. I have combination skin but sometimes get dry patches on my face. My skin sometimes feels dehydrated and tight despite an oily T-zone. Prone to small pimples on the face, possibly hormonal. Relatively large pores. Slight redness on the cheeks. ✨ Packaging: Love that it’s a tube because it’s easy to get all the product out. However, I would have preferred a flip-top cap instead of a screw cap. When you’re tired in the evening, it feels annoying to unscrew the tube. 😅 However, it could maybe be a bit darker in color compared to the day cream, making it easier to tell them apart. ✨ The product and results: Really nice results together with the day cream and serum. The skin feels really hydrated and fresh after the night. Absorbs easily into the skin even though it’s a bit thicker in consistency compared to the day cream. Less redness in the morning and not as oily. My skin feels balanced and healthy. New favorite when it comes to night cream! 🫶🏻 ✨ Price: The price is good and reasonable. A really good serum.
As a Lyko influencer tester, I have had the opportunity to try some products from ACO, and it has been fun to test more products from them. Here is my review of the ACO Purifying Booster Serum – this is a non-comedogenic serum that gently exfoliates with salicylic acid (BHA). The serum does not clog your pores and strengthens the skin barrier, etc. I like this serum and use it in my evening routine. My skin looks fresher in the morning and I don’t get as many pimples, which I really like. I can definitely recommend this product to you with acne-prone skin. My review of ACO Purifying Night Balm.
Here is my review of ACO Purifying Night Balm, a creamy product that moisturizes, soothes, and restores while being gently exfoliating overnight. It does not clog the skin, which is important if you are acne-prone like me. It works really well for me; I wake up with fewer pimples, but unfortunately, I also get terribly dry from this, which may be due to my skin, menopause, etc., so unfortunately, I can't use it as often. Which is a shame. Do I recommend it? Both yes and no, you almost have to try it out yourself. The price is great, and I really like ACO as a brand. As a Lyko influencer tester, I have had the opportunity to try some products from ACO, and it has been fun to test more products from them. Here is my review of the Purifying day cream, which is a moisturizing and soothing cream that also calms irritated skin + reduces blemishes, which I think it does well. It is also developed for us adults with acne-prone skin, and I am definitely the person who gets pimples even though I am 52 years old. I have used it as a primer under makeup, and it is excellent – it keeps the skin matte all day, and I also think it feels a bit "blurring," which I like. But some days it has made my skin feel very dry and not moisturizing. It’s not all the time, just sometimes, which could be due to my "skin," menopause, etc. Otherwise, I think it is a nice day cream that is also not too expensive. Do I recommend it? Yes, absolutely as a primer, as a day cream both yes and no. Darn it!
I have tried serum, day cream, and night cream. I have large pores, small pimples, and occasional breakouts. Now for the review! The night cream has a significantly thicker consistency than the day cream and feels more like a classic, moisturizing evening product. I also really like the hygienic packaging here, which means you don’t have to stick your fingers into a jar. A minor detail is that I prefer a cap you can flip open instead of unscrewing, but oh well 😂 Unfortunately, I also got a skin reaction from this one. I tested the products in the series individually to see if there was a specific product I reacted to, but I get a reaction from all that I have tried. I got to try serum, day cream, and night cream 💫 The serum is very liquid and light in texture. The packaging is really nice, the glass bottle and pump scream luxury to me. However, the glass bottle feels a bit risky in the bathroom if you have wet or sticky hands, so you have to be a bit careful there. 😅 Unfortunately, I also got a skin reaction from the serum. I therefore tested all the products separately to try to figure out which one I reacted to, but I get a reaction from all of them. This has never happened to me before with other skincare products in my 30 years, so it simply seems to be something in this series that my skin doesn't agree with. I got to try a day cream, night cream, and serum. At first, I was so excited because I have large pores, small pimples, and sometimes get a pimple here and there. But unfortunately, I was disappointed 😪 But to the review! The cream has a pleasant texture that isn’t too thick and feels smooth to apply. I also like the packaging, which feels hygienic and easy to use. I would have preferred a cap you can open rather than screw off, but that’s really a minor detail😂 Unfortunately, it doesn’t work very well under makeup for me because the makeup started to roll😔 Unfortunately, I also got a skin reaction from the product. Since I tested several products from the same series, I chose to test them separately to try to find out what I reacted to, but I got a reaction from all of them. This is actually something I haven’t experienced before with other skincare products in my 30 years, so I really don’t know what I reacted to. I prefer a dropper where I can better control how much serum I want. ✨ The product and results: The results are really good. I feel that the pores around my nose have become significantly smaller after using it morning and night. The skin texture also feels smoother. Plus fewer breakouts of small pimples. A product I will continue to use. Very gentle product that can be used every day. ✨ Price: Currently a good price due to discount, otherwise it costs 215 SEK which is an okay price. I am a person who loves glowy makeup and skin, and was therefore eager to try this. I don't see a huge difference when using it under makeup since I usually can achieve a glowy makeup look already, but without makeup I think it gives a slight radiance. The post was made 3 weeksSkincare routine Some of the products I’m currently using in my skincare routine. I use the oil from Aco as a makeup remover, especially for eye makeup right now. It works very well even on waterproof makeup. Then I do a double cleanse with #smuuti and #dermalogica and then a toner from #aco. I follow up with my favorite essence from #drceuracle, which I, for the observant, also use around the eyes kind of like how people used to put cucumber slices. This is after I had an absurd reaction to Lyko’s micellar water that made me intolerant to any of the products I used around my eyes, but this one has worked and calmed me down. So now I just haven’t found anything else yet. I tend to want to finish things up. Maybe I’ll use some Cosrx going forward since I just bought some of their products. I’ve also used a bit of #eyepatches #ögonmasker sometimes. I’m currently using Lumene’s lash serum, read that someone said it didn’t sting like others when it gets in the eyes... that’s not true. This one stings too and the results are pretty much nothing, just like with others I’ve tried, but you have to use it twice a day all the time, if you forget once it’s over. So I don’t know why I even try. Usually, I don’t use any serum, just this ampoule or another, or both... but both are also from Dr.Ceuracle. Sometimes I also use a clay mask from them. But that’s of course after the toner. I finish with a day or night cream. Right now it’s the day cream from Smuuti shown from the morning routine. I also use the lip mask from Mario Badescu but honestly, can someone tell me what makes it a #lipmask? I honestly don’t get it. It’s a bit sticky and it’s hard to get a lip pencil on the lips afterwards because it tends to slide off. Otherwise, I don’t feel it does much. If I don’t eat anything, it keeps the lips sticky longer than other products but I don’t feel my lips absorb the product, more that it just sits on top.
