They don’t leave any weird marks like I’ve seen others do. The spray comes out evenly and nicely. Which spray you choose depends on the result you want. I will continue to use Lumene. Sweed lipstick pen. I’ve mentioned this so many times. Was in the latest Lovable, thankfully for me since mine had just run out. Love this one 🥰 Elf melting cleansing balm. Liked this at first but after a while my skin said no. So it won’t be a repurchase. Clarins body firming – if I put it on too close to hair removal it stings like crazy. By too close I don’t mean immediately after but it can be after 24 hours... yeah, you understand, unfortunately not for me. Lancome Idole power – every perfume has its moment. This one fits well for a party on a summer evening. For me it’s a bit heavy for a regular workday, but at the same time so wonderfully floral, like an endless field of flowers, diverse and creates a unique scent on you. At the same time there’s a creamy sandalwood that rounds it off. I like it. I understand why they say it got its inspiration from a red juicy apple. That’s why I’ve thrown away quite a bit without posting it here, 🙈But now I got so inspired by the lovely, best Cecilia’s posts that I gathered everything that needs recycling ☺️🙏 Face cream🌿💦: 🌿💦La. Bruket nourishing Face mask – very nice! Costs quite a bit but moisturizes and soothes the skin like a dream 🙏🤌 👁💦Acasia energizing eye cream also expensive, but incredibly economical, I think it lasted a year for my tired little mom eyes😅 it’s good, close competition with my favorite Kiehls avocado eye cream and it’s rare I give an eye cream that much praise!🤌🫶 👁💦Revox eye care cream – not impressed. It feels nice on the skin when applied, but feels like it actually dries out the skin after a few hours. My tired eyes need much heavier stuff🤣🤌 👁💦Biovene conscious eye cream – like this one! It’s very affordable and moisturizes just right. If you don’t have big problems with tired eyes, I think it’s a really good everyday product. I’d prefer even more moisture, but I can definitely consider repurchasing later 👍 Serum/toners💦: 🌿💦Nivea cellular: unfortunately totally hooked on this! It evens out and moisturizes my skin so incredibly well! Sadly it stings the wallet a bit, I’ve probably gone through 4-5 serums in 2 years.. but at the same time it’s incredibly affordable compared to other more expensive serums that are barely half as good! And you have to treat yourself to something...😅😎 🌿💦Naturie toner: yes, it actually makes a difference! I get very red and easily get pimples when I shower, sweat or cleanse my skin. If I use this first, the skin calms down🤌👍 and it’s also very cheap🥳 👁💦Absolute New York eyepads: cheap and really nice!🙏 I usually use them in the morning on days I want to wake up under the eyes, before makeup. I can’t see that they work worse than the more expensive alternatives I’ve tried. But they tend to start drying out before I use them all, so another packaging would be preferable.. 👁💦Sense champagne crush eyepads: only single-use packaging so hard to say much, but I was surprised how nice and moisturizing it felt 💦👍 would consider buying again! 💦👁Make up mekka lash serum to make lashes strong and longer. Contains basically only flaxseed oil, I think. It softens my lashes but I don’t know if it’s made them fuller🤔 I find the serum tends to get into the eye, which is annoying 🤔 Makeup💋💄: 💦Settingspray dewy by lyko: cheap and totally perfect! Always repurchase this, never disappointed😎 💄Claudia lipgloss is very nice! 💋Got 2b eyebrow so easy to get brushed-up brows that last all day🥳 👁Catrice under eye brightener very good product, hard to tell if it’s as good as Becca’s, 🤔 but it got quite dry at the end so I had to use it as concealer instead of under the eyes at the end. Anyway, a perfect everyday product to look a bit more awake👍 💄🌿Mascara: 🌿Idun Vatn 38 degrees waterproof x2 and Idun Vatn 38 degrees Brown are fantastic mascaras! I’ve probably tried 50 mascaras in my life and this beats them all hands down! And super nice to remove with just warm water ☺️👍 🌿By lyko high on life Mascara: lyko still impresses! It’s hard with my stubbornly straight lashes and this delivers just as well as e.g. YSL. But unfortunately it’s not enough for my lashes to stay nice all day. Makeup Mekka Brush Soap – love this, it’s so easy to use. I wash the brushes right in the box, rinse off the soap, and let them dry. For heavy makeup residue, I also use a cleansing mat. Will buy again and again. 2. The Body Shop Shea Body Butter – very nice and rich cream. I use this on my dry and cracked hands, and it soothes quickly. Feels a bit greasy on the skin, but I use it right before bedtime. 3. Geek&Gorgeous Retinal 0.05% A-Game – I find this mild and nice on the skin, and I haven’t reacted to it at all. I now have very nice skin on my face, and it’s probably not only this product that’s the reason, but it has likely helped. Recommended, and I’ve already started on the next tube. Very nice consistency, easy to apply, and absorbs well into the skin. 4. Bronza Hydrating Bronzing Mist – this has grown on me. I’ve never been someone who uses self-tanner, but after getting this in several Lovables, I had to try it myself. And I’m surprisingly pleased! It builds color gradually, gives a nice glow, and I’ve gotten lots of compliments on my tan after using it. Luckily, I have several, and will probably continue to use Bronzing Mists since I don’t get much natural tan from using SPF50, mostly staying indoors, and living in Norway. I use it after all skincare in the evening right before bed, and the result is even and nice. I wash my face the next morning and get a nice color after 2-3 evenings. I use it a couple of evenings a week now in summer to maintain the color. 5. Løwengrip Color Hair Mask – this smells a bit weird and has terrible packaging that tears at the top. Also, it’s impossible to get out the last bit. Smells nice, nice texture, just the right amount of "stickiness" (it is sticky, but still a better texture than many cheap products, hard to explain), gives deep and good moisture to the lips and you can feel the mask worked overnight the next day. Will probably buy again later, but I have quite a few other lip masks I need to use up first ☺️ 2. Revox Just Azaleic Acid - another favorite. Very affordable, but does what it’s supposed to. I use it every other night in my skincare routine and have already started the next tube. It’s completely white and creamy in texture, not liquid, more like a day cream. Absorbs quickly into the skin, fragrance-free, and has never irritated my skin. Recommended! 3. Clarins Double Serum - very rich and oily serum. I bought this big bottle around Christmas and have used it every morning for about half a year, so I’d say it’s quite economical in use. It has a fantastic texture and gives lots of good moisture to the skin. I feel that in summer a lighter serum is enough for my skin, but in winter this is definitely very good for my skin! As mentioned, it’s very oily, so especially lately I’ve noticed my skin gets a bit greasy from using this, but that’s probably because my skin needs less moisture in summer than in winter. I will definitely consider buying a new one for fall/winter, but right now I’m trying a lighter serum. 4. REN Skincare Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk - absolute favorite! Unfortunately for me, this brand has been discontinued, but I’ve stocked up on some products that I’m using up. This cleansing milk is very mild and good for the skin, cleans well and has a lovely, milky creamy texture. Luckily I still have several tubes left. Loreal - maybe not the right shade marked but choose the one that suits you. Good coverage foundation that is still light, melts well into the face and belongs to the cheaper price range. Now it’s finished and I’m going to try another one I bought here on recommendation, but a classic that will probably be bought again. Narciso - smells okay but not his best, he has some really good ones. I think this one is quite neutral and can also work on a guy. However, I think it would be divisive on that side. To me, it mostly breathes calm and harmony. Gives me a relaxed feeling and some spa thoughts. Rfsu - this product seems to have disappeared or been modernized. Added the one closest to it. I’ve had a few minor razor bumps, rarely any at all, so it does well but ingrown hairs are probably something that has improved over time. You really need to use it daily otherwise it doesn’t feel like it gives enough effect. Clarins - a body lotion, neutral, no direct scent. Not bad - not brilliant. Clinique - this was included in a Lovables last spring. Don’t remember exactly when I opened it but it has probably lasted about a year. This week I focused on finishing some of my minis. They also have expiration dates, and once opened, they can't last forever. On Nivea it says "gradual tan" and "natural looking tan." I agree with both, and it’s one of the better ones, but it can still get a bit yellow around the knees where you might be a bit drier. So in that case, start by moisturizing your knees and drier areas with another lotion, otherwise you might get more patchy. If you wax your legs, the color comes off with it—I did that the other day, so now I feel pale again. I can recommend the product. Suntique has worked very well. It has a thinner consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin and is very easy to wear under makeup. I’ve been able to apply double layers and still had no issues with my makeup. No pimples or anything either. I recently got more SPFs in the latest Lovables, but I would definitely consider buying this one again. Smuuti feels nice and cooling but takes a little time to absorb. I probably spray on way too much... but it feels nice after cleansing. I have two full-size bottles of this, so I might keep this one. It looked easy to refill, and the spray still works very well. Small packages are always good for travel. Lancôme - a good makeup remover in the higher price range. I think there are good products that are cheaper. The perfume was Vanilla Nude, which I got as a sample last winter. Smells nice and a bit sweet, like all vanilla perfumes do. Since it’s an "eau de parfum," you need very little, and it still lasts very well. That’s something I’ve had trouble with all the mists nowadays because they’re so fleeting. I was spoiled with perfumes in my youth. Clarins - works during this season but isn’t enough for me in winter. Considering the price range, it’s a no from me. The latest products that have run out. Two no, two yes, and one maybe. Xlash eye serum - incredibly economical. However, I don't see any results in terms of longer lashes. If it’s included in a lovable again, I will probably use it, but I won’t buy it separately myself. (No) Moroccanoil - have said it many times, a big favorite. Smells good and works wonders. Right now, I haven’t needed it as much since I cut off the lengths. But for longer hair, it’s a staple. I have an unopened one lying around because I can’t be without it. (Yes) Lyko foaming shower gel - at first, I was really impressed. It foamed better and the scent lasted longer than, for example, the more expensive Rituals, but in the last half and especially the last quarter, it didn’t foam as well. So that lowers the impression a bit. However, I could definitely buy these again... no wait, I already have. More scents desired 🤩 (Yes) Lancome Idole Flutter mascara - this one isn’t even empty yet. I love Lancome; they usually have such good mascaras, makeup, and skincare products, but this was a disappointment. Maybe I have too high expectations because I’ve always liked them? The problem started with the packaging; it felt cheap and like poor quality compared to their usual standard. The mascara itself wasn’t necessarily bad, but I thought it looked too much like my regular lashes just in color. Neither length nor volume was added, and the brush wasn’t great either. Won’t buy again, and if I get it in a calendar or something, it will be discarded. (No) Origins active charcoal mask - I probably prefer single-use masks. This one makes about 5 masks, and I apply it generously. So the price per mask is significantly cheaper than single-use. The effect? I don’t know, I didn’t see much difference but also had no negative reactions to it. So I would buy it again, probably only with a good discount. The best is/was Medik8 Lips and eyes which unfortunately has been discontinued🤥👎 Bioderma's is however gentler on the wallet🤑😁 🥇Yves Rocher PÛR BLEUET The gentle makeup remover is organic🌱 cornflower which is caring for the eyes. I usually use it for non-waterproof eye makeup! 🥇Yves Rocher Bath & Shower gel in Bourbon vanilla I've used for foot baths - the bottle lasted more than a year🤑 Wonderful vanilla scent👏 🤔OK - BUT MAY NOT REPURCHASE🤔 🤔Nurme Facial foam Rose was a totally okay, very economical organic🌱 foaming facial cleanser. 🤔Yves Rocher Vanilla Orchid body scrub was maybe a bit rough but still had too few grains - it was like a thicker peeling shower cream. The scent was okay but I prefer their bourbon vanilla😊 ⛔️NO - NOT FOR ME⛔️ ⛔️Oat & Cica calming face cream gave me horrible pimples on my cheek immediately👎 I had missed that it contains 2 ingredients from coconut🥥 which my skin hates! So I finally get my act together with March #empties just before it turns May😅 I keep blaming the pollen allergy🤧 that makes me more sluggish in the head than usual🤪 First come the FAVORITES where everything I’ve already bought again or want to buy again is included, but I’m not listing everything – you can see it in the photo! 🥇FAVORITES🥇 🥇Kocostars Glow Ho ho Hydrating face mask was one of their Christmas masks and was wonderfully nice👀 🥇Saturday Skin Cotton cloud probiotic power sheet mask was soft as a cloud☁️ but too expensive (and has too long a name😅). 🥇REN Skincare Jelly oil cleanser smelled a bit like birch tar (i.e., marzipan) and was incredibly good👏 🥇REN Skincare Glow and Protect serum is one of my 3 favorite serums among vitamin C serums🍊 This one is wonderfully moisturizing and extra nice during the cold season! 🥇Tirtir Light toner came in a box, I think🤔 because I don’t remember buying it – but I’d gladly buy it again😅 🥇By Wishtrend Blue Oasis aloe hydrating serum was, because of the aloe vera🪴, doubly moisturizing and also a soothing serum👍 🥇NCLA Birthday cake body butter smells absolutely lovely of caramel, cream, and sugar🎂😋 Was also very rich and good for my dry skin👍 🥇Loelle Argan oil is just the world’s best argan oil👌 Also a Swedish brand🇸🇪 eco🌱 and cf🐇🐁🐒 I go through at least one bottle a year! 🥇Eco Cosmetics Lip care – the world’s best lip balm👌 🤔OK – BUT MAY NOT BUY AGAIN🤔 🤔Dermosil Ceramide toner mist was a bit dull😄 🤔Revox Just alpha arbutin 2% + HA was moisturizing💦 thanks to the hyaluronic acid but not much more. 🧴SAMPLES THAT TEMPTED ME TO BUY🧴 🧴Skin 1004 Madagascar centella Hyalu Cica sleeping mask I will soon start using the full size as a night cream😊 🧴Dermosil Gentleman niacinamide face cream I strangely liked, so I’m thinking of trying it in the T-zone, which has gone from being dry my whole life to combination skin🤥 I don’t like niacinamide serums or rather my skin doesn’t😄 but it seems to work better when the ingredient is in a cream😀 ⛔️NO – NOT FOR ME⛔️ ⛔️REN Skincare Ready steady glow daily AHA toner was terrible👎⚠️ It took me a year (!) to finish that stuff. With 10% glycolic acid, I could only use it max once a week and then only on parts of the T-zone and elbows😄 Every day was out of the question – I don’t understand whose skin can tolerate that🤨 ⛔️Jorgobé Bio-Active balancing moisturizer was quite nice but not balancing at all – shea butter (one of the ingredients) usually isn’t either😉 Most of it is reviewed by me if it’s available on Lyko😁 One reason I force myself to finish even things I dislike is that I want to punish myself for dumb impulse buys😆 I think it should teach me to stop! Happy Easter to you all!🐣💛 It's been a while since I updated anything here, but it's been a bit busy lately. But now I'm enjoying some Easter break and have a bit more free time. As you might see, I've collected quite a few empties over a few months, and now even more have come, but you'll see that in the next empties🤗 Those of you who have seen my empties before know that it's mostly hair products that I go through a lot of. Also, it's mostly favorites that run out because if there's a product I haven't liked, it usually gets left behind. My top 3 right now (no particular order) There were quite a few Kerastase products this time, but Kerastase is a favorite brand, and I've tried most things from the brand. The Resistance line, which is turquoise blue, is sooo good and smells nice🩵 The K18 dry shampoo is a favorite that I've repurchased 3 times now.
