So finally I get my act together with March #empties just before it turns May😅 I keep blaming the pollen allergy🤧 that makes me more sluggish in the head than usual🤪 First come the FAVORITES where everything I’ve already bought again or want to buy again is included, but I’m not listing everything – you can see it in the photo! 🥇FAVORITES🥇 🥇Kocostars Glow Ho ho Hydrating face mask was one of their Christmas masks and was wonderfully nice👀 🥇Saturday Skin Cotton cloud probiotic power sheet mask was soft as a cloud☁️ but too expensive (and has too long a name😅). 🥇REN Skincare Jelly oil cleanser smelled a bit like bear glue (i.e., marzipan) and was incredibly good👏 🥇REN Skincare Glow and Protect serum is one of my 3 favorite serums among vitamin C serums🍊 This is wonderfully moisturizing and extra nice during the cold season! 🥇Tirtir Light toner came in a box I think🤔 because I don’t remember buying it – but I’d gladly buy it again😅 🥇By Wishtrend Blue Oasis aloe hydrating serum was, because of the aloe vera🪴, doubly moisturizing and also a soothing serum👍 🥇NCLA Birthday cake body butter smells absolutely lovely of caramel, cream, and sugar🎂😋 Was also very fatty and good for my dry skin👍 🥇Loelle Argan oil is just the world’s best argan oil👌 Also a Swedish brand🇸🇪 eco🌱 and cf🐇🐁🐒 I go through at least one bottle a year! 🥇Eco Cosmetics Lip care – the world’s best lip balm👌 🤔OK – BUT MAY NOT BUY AGAIN🤔 🤔Dermosil Ceramide toner mist was a bit boring😄 🤔Revox Just alpha arbutin 2% + HA was moisturizing💦 thanks to the hyaluronic acid but not much more. 🧴SAMPLES THAT TEMPTED ME TO BUY🧴 🧴Skin 1004 Madagascar centella Hyalu Cica sleeping mask I will soon start using the full size as a night cream😊 🧴Dermosil Gentleman niacinamide face cream I strangely liked so I thought I’d try it in the T-zone, which has gone from being dry my whole life to combination skin🤥 I don’t like niacinamide serums or rather my skin doesn’t😄 but it seems to work better when the ingredient is in a cream😀 ⛔️NO – NOT FOR ME⛔️ ⛔️REN Skincare Ready steady glow daily AHA toner was terrible👎⚠️ It took me a year (!) to finish the stuff. With 10% glycolic acid I could only use it max once a week and then only on parts of the T-zone and elbows😄 Every day was out of the question – I don’t understand whose skin can tolerate that🤨 ⛔️Jorgobé Bio-Active balancing moisturizer was quite nice but not at all balancing – shea butter (which is one of the ingredients) usually isn’t either😉 Most of it is reviewed by me if it’s available on Lyko😁 One reason I force myself to finish even things I dislike is that I want to punish myself for dumb impulse buys😆 I think it should teach me to stop! Time for a new version of an old 🥇favorite🥇
One of my first and absolutely most loved powder blushes is the British Lily Lolo "In the pink"☺️ It is a light, cool to neutral pink that blends perfectly into my extremely fair skin with a cool undertone and gives a natural result👏 Unscented, cf🐇🐁🐒 and made in the UK👍 My version was a few years old now, not sure exactly how many🙄 but at least 5😀 It works but has lost some pigment and suddenly was warmer in tone than was pleasant😉 It’s certainly not finished but has been used for many years! Considering the brand has gentle clean ingredients and no strong preservatives, it has still lasted beyond expectations! Bought a new one when there was a sale here and in the photos you can see the difference – the new one looks exactly like the old one did once upon a time! On my cheeks it’s even cooler👏 So the old one is retiring now😄 Lily Lolo has many more products than Lyko currently has (the range here is unfortunately tiny now). Too strong scent
Got this micellar water in a box and have just barely used up the bottle – as it looked before it got new packaging😊 – but as I wrote in my latest #empties2026, it was absolutely not for me, a real disappointment👎🤥 For my dry, thin, somewhat sensitive skin, I prefer unscented micellar water, but I love roses🌹🌹🌹 and thought this would probably be fine. This artificial rose scent was... not good, to put it nicely🤢 Also, it stayed on the skin, so an immediate rinse was a must, something I really didn’t like👎 The other thing was that it was very drying, unfortunately🤥 Micellar water can contain glycerin, panthenol, aloe vera or similar for me, as that makes it gentler on the skin. This actually contains glycerin but still managed to be drying🤔, which was skillful but not good👎 Gives two stars because the price is good for those who like the product + the bottle is transparent so you can see how much is left! ⭐️⭐️ #lykoreview1 product in post Too strong scent
