The post was made 1 weekSkincare haul! 😍☀️🌸 I picked up my Lyko package today! 🤩 These products are all fragrance-free and should work well for sensitive skin that is prone to acne (like mine). ❤️ The only product among these that I’ve had before is the SA smoothing cleanser from CeraVe. 🩵 I love using it on my body and find that it helps keep pimples away from, for example, my back. ☀️ The products from purito are supposed to be barrier-strengthening and moisturizing, which I really need now since I’ve undergone a pretty intense facial treatment (green peel). 💚 I’m looking forward to trying the antioxidant serum from The Ordinary, which is said to be good for fighting free radicals. I understand it’s good to use an antioxidant serum in the morning like vitamin C and retinol in the evening. I plan to start using retinol but will wait until my skin has recovered. 🤍 These two are supposed to help keep the skin in good condition according to research. ✨ Last but not least, I’m also excited to try the sulfur concentrate from The Ordinary, which is said to be magical against pimples (especially ingrown ones). I got several of the tips from skin therapist Elvira, who can be found on Youtube and Instagram among others. ✨Biodance Bio Collagen mask✨
📦 First impression The mask is made of collagen and is not the typical sheet mask. Fragrance-free, cooling, and sticks to the face like a sticker, super convenient! If you have long nails, you should be a bit careful so it doesn't get holes and pieces tear off 💄 Usage The instructions say to wear the mask for 2-4 hours because that's how long it takes for the collagen to break down into the skin, or alternatively wear it overnight. I wore it for 2 hours because I got overstimulated 😭 ✨ Result Even though I "only" wore it for 2 hours, the mask gave an incredible glow AND WOW WHAT MOISTURIZATION!!!!! Wow, I was so positively surprised, I totally get the hype around this now 👍 Pros 💚 Moisturizes incredibly well and keeps the skin hydrated for many days after 💚 Gives a nice glow 💚 Definitely worth the money! 👎 Cons ❤️🩹 Depending on who you ask, the price can be a bit high ❤️🩹 I have sensitive skin and the mask unfortunately stung/irritated a bit, but no allergic reaction 💭 Conclusion Will I buy it again? With barrier-strengthening panthenol and squalane that resembles the skin's own sebum, I find it very moisturizing and "buttery" as it absorbs, even though it feels gel-like in texture at first.💧 I still find it rich enough to use as a night cream sometimes for acne combination skin in the summer 💚 I reviewed the night mask 1-2 years ago. It removes my sunscreen extremely well, which is so important now in the summer so the pores don’t get clogged with sunscreen day after day😊 After it’s rinsed off, I go in with the cleanser from the same series, it’s gentle and after rinsing it off, the skin doesn’t feel tight! I’ve always had the problem with other cleansers where my cheeks are dry but the T-zone is oily, so it feels good in the T-zone but the cheeks crack!
