    An incredible experience!

Yesterday I shopped at nyligen and visited Buly 1803 in Paris, where I bought soap and a gift for my sister. It was a very lovely experience. The store is incredibly beautiful and feels almost like stepping into another time. Everything is so elegantly presented, and the atmosphere is calm and luxurious. The staff was also very nice and helpful. They took the time to assist me and made the visit extra special. I am truly happy with my purchase and can highly recommend the store to anyone visiting Paris.

    🩵💙🩵

More water, less sugar – and suddenly better skin? Okay, I know... maybe not the right forum for this. But I just have to share one thing I've noticed🩵 When I drink more water and eat less sugar, my skin actually gets better. Like really better. Clearer. Less "glowy". A bit more radiance🤗 I bought a book – Destination Beauty Food – and even though I don't know exactly how scientific it all is, it feels like there must be at least a little truth to it. Because the body reacts. The skin reacts. Recorded a bit... tips from me to you🥰

CurrentBody- Series 2 for both face and décolleté

I have tested one of the most talked-about LED light masks in the beauty world for a longer period, CurrentBody- Series 2 for both face and décolleté, and below you can read my honest experience with red light therapy. I’m sharing some of my notes during the treatment in bullet points below. What is LED Light? LED light works on a cellular level and is said to increase collagen in the skin and reduce inflammation. LED, which stands for Light Emitting Diodes, was researched by NASA in the 1990s to speed up wound healing and reduce inflammation in astronauts. At that time, it was discovered that different wavelengths of light could stimulate collagen production and also combat acne bacteria. The LED light mask I have tested is very easy to use. It has three clinically approved wavelengths: Red (633nm), NIR = near-infrared (830nm), and new deep near-infrared (1072nm). It has a portable control with only an on-off button. It is not possible to select more functions or light modes as the treatment time is pre-programmed to 10 minutes. Here are some of my notes during the treatment time :) The mask is quite heavy, and sometimes I felt it weighed down my eyes with its protective "swimming goggles," and made my eyes a bit dry. I still think the fit is good and that it adheres well to the skin as it has a silicone surface on the back. Extra good with the new fit of the series 2 mask, with chin strap as well. The décolleté mask was no trouble to use. Possibly it was a bit cumbersome to have the downside of sitting tight around the neck. But otherwise nothing to note. How have I used the LED Light mask? I have used the mask at least 4 times a week, for 6 weeks. I mostly used it in the evening as I feel it calms the nervous system and makes me pleasantly tired. I tried it once in the middle of the day, but I clearly lost momentum afterward. So the evening was best for me. What was the hardest part during the treatment? The hardest part was probably remembering to prioritize using the mask in the evening 4 times a week. And definitely very hard not to apply anything after washing my face in the evening! The skin must be completely free of products and dry when doing the treatment. I had a tube of Cicaplast on my nightstand, which I quickly applied after the treatment was done. Did the mask require any maintenance? I wiped it down with a damp cloth and stored it in its fabric bag. The mask needed to be charged 2-3 times during this 6-week period. The masks were stored in 2 separate bags. Wrinkles Honestly, I don’t see any major difference in the wrinkles. Maybe fewer dryness wrinkles in the outer corners of my eyes? Or maybe a little softer lines on my forehead? Perioral Dermatitis I had an outbreak of Perioral Dermatitis at the beginning of the use and felt great fear! You who have Perioral Dermatitis know exactly. I have struggled with one or two red spots during these weeks, but now they are like blown away! What if the red LED light cured my PD?? Mind-blowing thought in that case. I currently have a clear chin and even dare to use a few active products. Hooray! Pigment spots Has my pigment spot on my cheek not become a little lighter? Conclusion I am satisfied with this LED mask and will definitely continue to use it. I think it complements my existing skincare routine and improves skin quality. But I will probably use it more as a maintenance treatment, about 2 times a week. I feel good when I use it and think it affects me positively. Contraindications LED light mask is not for everyone. If you are light-sensitive, have epilepsy, or another medical condition, read on! If you are unsure if it is suitable for you? Ask your doctor.

    A “reset”...

When the air gets cold and dry, I immediately notice how my skin tightens, becomes more sensitive, and loses its glow. That’s why I’ve started a simple yet effective routine once a week – a real barrier boost with La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+. I first apply a generous layer on cleansed skin and let it sink in for a few minutes. Then I put an extra thin layer on top to properly seal in the moisture. It may not look so glamorous – but it works wonders overnight. The result? My skin feels calmer, softer, and more resilient against the weather and wind. Perfect as a weekly “reset” when my skin needs a little extra love during the dry months.
