I've been trying Almost Always from Khloé Kardashian for about a week now, and I have to say I really like it! It's a feminine, elegant, and warm scent that feels luxurious without being too heavy. The fragrance opens with lavender and magnolia, giving a soft and floral feel. Then star jasmine and orange blossom come through, making the scent more feminine and romantic. At the base, there’s vanilla, musk, and soft wood notes with palo santo, providing a warm, lightly sweet, and sensual finish. To start with, it’s a really nice bottle, feels luxurious. Wow, what a delicious perfume! 😍The first sniff feels fruity and vanilla without being sticky. When it settles, more depth comes out, and the vanilla becomes more prominent but still retains the fruity scent of melon. I'll start by saying this: I'm really not a vanilla person when it comes to perfume. On the contrary, I usually find vanilla scents very difficult, as they can easily become too sweet, heavy, and almost a bit overwhelming for me. So I didn't exactly expect Vanilla Suede to be a scent I would fall for. But it surprised me. Vanilla is definitely present here, but it is accompanied by bergamot and sandalwood, which makes the scent feel softer and more balanced than the classic, very sweet vanilla scent I usually associate with this type of perfume. What I especially like is that it doesn't feel too strong. On me, I experience it as soft and pleasant, with a warm vanilla tone rather than a heavy vanilla bomb. There's simply more to the scent than just sweetness – and I think that's exactly why it works for me. I got it in the By Lyko Lovables – The LeyGlow Kit, and of all the scents, it's quite ironic that a vanilla perfume made me rethink 🤍 A vanilla scent for someone who actually doesn't like vanilla scent. That probably says it all. ✨ Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum Intense ✨ I got to try Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum Intense as a Lyko Testpilot and here are my honest thoughts! 🧡 The scent has a salty ozonic top note, vanilla orchid in the heart, and a dark cocoa base. It is warm, sweet, and very intense, with a clear creamy and gourmand feel. Unfortunately, it didn’t become a new favorite for me. I found the scent quite strong, buttery, and heavy, especially when I sprayed it close to the skin. I personally prefer slightly lighter and more insta-gourmand scents. However, I actually thought it became much more pleasant when I sprayed it from a distance, as the scent then spread out more and didn’t feel as concentrated. This is definitely a perfume for you if you like warm, sweet, and intense scents with vanilla and cocoa.
