I love castor oil because it is so versatile and fits perfectly into my beauty routine! It is rich, moisturizing, and gives both hair and skin extra care. For hair, it is wonderful as a nourishing oil treatment, especially for dry lengths and ends. It helps hair feel softer, shinier, and more well-groomed. I also think it’s excellent for caring for the scalp. For skin, it’s a real favorite! It helps retain moisture and makes the skin soft and supple. Shiny hair, but is it the product or the blow-dry?
I won the Lernberger Stafsing Smoothing Silk Coat in a contest at Lyko and have now used it for a couple of weeks to really form an opinion. For me, it scores 3/5. It's a nice product, but I wouldn't call it a miracle product. The result is quite sensitive to how the rest of the blow-drying and styling is done. What I really like is that it combines leave-in and heat protection, so I can skip two separate products before blow-drying and styling. It is also intended to provide heat protection up to 200 °C. But when I compare it to my usual routine with separate leave-in + heat protection, I don't think the result is either better or worse.
