🥵🦾I know the struggle, so here are my best tips! 💦 Ways to refresh hair after a workout: 1. 🧴 Co-wash/cleansing conditioner Perfect if you have curly hair and want to avoid over-washing with shampoo several days a week. Massage into the scalp (just like with shampoo) and scrunch through the lengths. Rinse + finish with regular conditioner in the lengths if needed (varies by brand). Style your hair as usual afterwards. 💨 Dry shampoo Spray into the scalp where it’s sweaty or oily. Massage in or blow-dry with cool air. 🕒 Quick option when you don’t have time to shower but the scalp looks shiny. You can easily refresh the lengths with a little water + a refresh spray/conditioner spray! Find good hair ties! Preferably gentle ones in silk, my favorites are from ByBarb. No major difference…
I tested the Maria Nila Cool Cream in hopes of getting a cooler tone and refreshing my color between salon visits. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any major difference in the results. In the before-and-after pictures (right is after), you can see that the tone in the hair is basically the same – no noticeable toning down of the warm shades that I had expected. The positive is that the hair felt soft and moisturized after use, and the product is easy to apply. But when it comes to the promised color effect and cooling of the tone, it unfortunately didn’t live up to my expectations. I would say that this might be a product that works better for someone with an already cool tone who just wants to maintain the color, rather than actively neutralizing warmth. I introduce here Bjørk, a Swedish hair care brand inspired by our nature and traditions. We need a lot of moisture, especially in the summer, and I have become obsessed with Bjørk's shampoo and conditioner that give my hair what it needs after a long day in the sun! For styling, I use texture spray and hairspray as well as a clay (discontinued) from Bjørk to achieve a silky, hydrated, and natural look for my hair. The scent is mild and fresh. The hairspray gives just the right hold; I don't like it when it gets too "stiff". Bjørk's products are simple, effective, and created with the environment in mind. They have many interesting products I want to explore in the future, for example, a shampoo for us who are starting to get gray hair and the super popular product TÄMJA, check it out. As a Lykoinfluencer, I had the chance to test the Björn Axen Heat Styling Protection Spray. 🩷 I have been testing this for a few weeks now and like it more and more, at first I used too much product and it left a film on my hair. Now I use less and it gives a nice result and my hairstyle lasts all day. Was unsure about this product regarding the price but through videos on social media, I was influenced to buy. I was incredibly surprised at how well it works. Looks completely freshly washed after use and helps with volume. Hair feels light and doesn't give that gross «grainy» feeling that regular dry shampoo gives, only if you happen to use too much of the product. But I have a good impression and will probably continue after this one is finished. The scent is so nice and not too much. The packaging makes it easy to apply at the hair roots, and there’s no running or mess, no greasy hair/scalp, it doesn’t sink in and leaves no traces of that. I use it in the evenings and also in the mornings (if I remember ^^). This product comes in a plastic tube that makes you happy, the color made an impression right away! I was a bit afraid that the opening would break, but the packaging has been intact throughout the testing period. It is cheap to purchase, which gave it that feeling, but I had no problems with it at all. You squeeze out the right amount depending on your hair, and I have waist-length hair, straight, thin, and damaged! I haven't cut my hair in a couple of years. I used the product like a slightly smaller grape, and that has been enough for me! So economical is the product. It melts from the heat in your hand and becomes a bit oil-like in consistency. It smells just right, but wonderful. Nothing that becomes noticeable after a while, which I appreciated. I filmed the first time I tested it, and the hair becomes immediately very detangled and shiny. The most caring ingredients in the INCI list I think are shea butter, which has fatty acids and vitamins. Panthenol, which strengthens the hair. Lactic acid, which smooths the cuticle layer. Red algae extract, which moisturizes and protects. But as you can see in the video, the extra softness and shine are missing when the hair is dry. I wish for something that is a bit more moisturizing. So my wish would have been that they maybe added a bit of argan oil! They do have extract from sunflower, but that is very far down the ingredient list, and the oil might have been better for my hair!? Considering the price, the product is very good, but since I miss the extra care that my other, more expensive brands have given, it brings the rating down a bit. From full score to 4 stars. So it was hard to give a rating this time. I have tested it and used a hairdryer afterward, and then the result is better. But since I usually let my hair air dry, the review is based on that result. I have had the pleasure of testing this product for a month. I, who have long and damaged hair, try to avoid heat, but of course, I have tested the product. It comes in a nice bottle with a pump function. It makes you happy to see it, the text is clear, and the bottle exudes quality even though the product is very affordable. The product is liquid and slightly white/uncolored? Unfortunately, the spray didn't work super well, it sprayed out a bit unevenly at the beginning of each use. Maybe it was too thick for the spray? But with the help of my hands, it was no problem at all. What struck me immediately was the wonderful scent, you should know that it has a strong fragrance, but it smells good. I have a hard time explaining scents, but this one was appealing and smells "summer and floral". The effect on the hair was good, it contains some nourishing ingredients that strengthen the hair, the ones I like the most are probably the ones called protein, there were a few in the list, like Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, they all work to repair and strengthen the elasticity of the hair. Then I like Pisum Sativum Peptide, a plant-based protein that strengthens the hair. It also contains oils like Argan and Sunflower oil. As you can see, the product also works as a nourishing balm spray in addition to heat protection. An all-in-one product that I think is super affordable and good. The hair becomes soft, easy to comb out, and shiny. A very good budget tip that competes with the more expensive brands. The effect of the heat protection is unfortunately too short to see how the protection works.
