Regarding the problematic combination that caused the makeup to roll up, I have read the ingredients in these products, and they are all three water-based, so they shouldn't separate. It's common for water-based and silicone-based products to separate, but all have, as mentioned, water as the first ingredient (i.e., most content and likely base). But is there maybe something else to keep an eye on? I wrote with Margareta Grääs, and she said that it's often one of the skincare products that reacts with the makeup and not two makeup products... that sounds reasonable because I tried Nivea's advanced serum last fall, and I really liked it, but in connection with that, the makeup started to "roll", even though I waited for the skincare to sink in properly. Super sad. I considered using it in the evening but actually wanted it both morning and evening. Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream and Essence grip-primer are probably the ones that don't work together because I've been using the Dynasty Cream for a few weeks now without problems with other primers. The Essence primer is a different type than most others I use (like Nyx Glue and Budgie)... I just don't really know what kind of moisturizer to use that it likes. Anyone have any thoughts? When the base "rolls" 😫
Is there anyone else who hates when the base "rolls" and you get crumbs (like flakes) all over your face because the products clash with each other? Here are three radiant products, but there’s something (I suspect the primer) that probably has a different base than the other two (water or silicone are probably the most common and they can clash) The strange thing is that when I tested the primer and CC cream on my dry hand, it did NOT roll, so that’s why I have the moisturizer here too, because I wonder if it can roll here as well. Hands down the best SPF 50 I’ve used so far!
Up until now, my go-to sunscreen in my skincare routine was Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics. But the Aqua-Fresh version completely stole my heart. It absorbs incredibly fast, leaves no greasy film, doesn’t pill, and works perfectly both with my skincare and every single foundation I use (and I rotate between five of them!). Most importantly, it doesn’t worsen my acne-prone, combination skin — which is a huge win for me, as I struggle with hormonal breakouts and an oily T-zone. Can be hard to beat
Super good sunscreen for the face! What I look for in a sunscreen is a higher SPF, a light formula that my oily eczema skin can tolerate, and that it doesn't make me whiter in the face. Beauty of Joseon's sunscreen meets all these requirements. It might even become a recurring favorite. The sunscreen is very light in consistency and absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling greasy. But it is also moisturizing enough that the only thing I use during the day is a watery serum and then apply BoJ over it. I don't feel that it makes my skin oilier either, as many sun products can do. I know that you should reapply sunscreen during the day, but despite that, I've never gotten burned, even though I've been in the sun for most of the day. It doesn't irritate the skin at all, and it doesn't cause more breakouts than usual. BoJ also works excellently as a base for makeup, which is great! + light and mild formula + high sun protection + suitable for many skin types + contains many yummy ingredients that are good for the skin - one might wish for a pump, maybe? For anyone looking for a good sunscreen for the face, BoJ is definitely worth trying. I have to start by saying; I love this serum! Retinol products can be a bit tricky for sensitive skin as they tend to be quite strong. Retinal is an advancement of retinol where it is supposed to be superior in terms of better results and fewer side effects. My sensitive eczema skin tolerates this product really well. Around the eyes, I only use it now and then, but on the whole face and neck, I use it every evening! The fact that the serum is more like a cream makes it feel extra moisturizing, and besides retinal, it contains several yummy ingredients like Niacinamide, Ginseng, and ceramides. When I use it, I first apply a watery serum with hyaluron, then the retinal serum, and finish with a slightly richer cream in the evening. (One should preferably use retinol products in the evening.) In terms of results, it’s hard to say if it has helped with fine lines and such. But it seems to keep blemishes and impurities at bay. I mostly believe that retinol slows down aging rather than actually treating the wrinkles that are already there. So I am completely satisfied with the result it has given and according to my expectations. + just the right thickness + good ingredients + fragrance-free! + not irritating on my sensitive skin + I feel that my skin has gotten a boost in texture + large tube for being for the eyes - does not come in different strengths, as many other retinol products do. This is a get unready with me with some of my favorite products!! Product names are listed at the bottom!! I start by removing makeup with micellar water from Cosrx before I go in with a water-based cleanser from Torriden!! This duo works perfectly and is super gentle on my sensitive skin while also cleansing at a deep level!!✨ I then go in with Dr.Ceuracle's essence! The consistency, moisture, and glow it provides are enchanting! It feels absolutely magical on the skin🙌🏽😫 Next, I usually alternate between Torriden's dive in serum or balance serum, tonight I went for balance!! It helps to gradually clarify the skin from dead skin cells (a bit like Torriden's pads in the same series, just even more gentle).✨ I struggle with some deep painful pimples. Here I use Beauty of Joseon's eye cream with retinal as a spot treatment!!❤️ this is one of my holy grails for treating deep and inflamed pimples! I have as #lykoinflutester tested this product from #beautyofjoseon. I have long considered buying products from this brand, but as someone with sensitive skin, it’s scary to try new brands. This feels more like an eye cream than a serum, and it’s economical in use, so I’ll probably have this for a very long time to come. And if you use this only around the eyes, you don’t notice the smell either. I’ve heard a lot about the brand #beautyofjoseon, but since I have sensitive skin, I haven’t dared to try it, even though it says it’s for all skin types. Good eye cream
As a Lyko influencer, I got to test this eye cream from Beauty of Joseon and I really liked it. I have no wrinkles or particularly many fine lines, so I can't say if it worked or not, but I tend to get dry and have dark circles under my eyes, and I think this really did the job because it is easy to apply and absorbed quickly and well. The cream is a thin and light cream that resembles a gel, and I personally think it has a mild to no scent. I find it difficult to find an eye cream that doesn't give me red eyes or sting, as I am a bit sensitive under and around the eyes, and I didn't have that with this one, so I will continue to use it. I love the packaging of this (tube with pump) as the pump gives just the right amount out and makes it super economical. In the test video, you can see that I take one pump per eye, but that is just right when you are dry; otherwise, one pump actually lasts for both ❤️. I have as #lykoinflutester tested this Anstiktskremen with spf50 from beautyof joseon. And wow what a sunscreen😮😍. The skin becomes completely silky soft and is not sticky at all. It doesn't sit like a film on the skin but absorbs super quickly and it is super economical.. a small amount is enough for the whole face. I love that the tube it comes in is big enough to have the product for a long time but at the same time small enough to take it with you everywhere like in your bag and in your toiletry bag. Works just as well alone, under makeup, or over your favorite cream and not least it is completely magical together with the face cream/day cream from beauty of joseon that I had from before. In the video where I test, I test it alone on cleansed skin and I loved it ❤️ have used it mostly alone now for a couple of weeks and my skin has gotten so much better than before I started😊 My skin loves this and this is a product that has become my new favorite product so I will definitely continue to use this and not least buy again and in addition it is at a super reasonable price considering how soft the skin becomes and how economical it is :) My skin is combination and easily sensitive and I did not react to this at all other than getting a nice glow and soft skin that you want to have. Last to review this time is Beauty of Joseon’s eye serum. And I really like this one too. ☺️ I have now used the eye serum for three weeks, and a bit more. I actually felt right from the first use: “I like this”! I, the reviewer, am 47 years old (since Friday/3 days ago 🤪). And have therefore gotten quite a few signs of aging due to age (of course). And certainly many years as a smoker are a contributing factor. 🙈 So skincare products that contain retinol/vitamin A are welcome to care for my skin. It was surprising to see that this contains a full 30 ml, as almost all eye creams/serums contain 15 ml. It is therefore a very affordable eye serum. Lots of product, and not a high price (especially now with 50% off). The serum comes in a tube with a pump, which is easy to handle and dose. One pump is enough for application on both eyes. I have normal to dry skin. I find that quite a bit of product comes out with one pump. But that is just right for me (with slightly drier skin). The serum absorbs easily into the skin and leaves no sticky surface. And it is supposed to be very mild according to the description. And I also get the impression that it is. But I also don’t have sensitive skin, so I usually don’t react too much when it comes to skincare. It is often recommended to acclimate the skin a few times a week to retinol. I haven’t done that. As I said, I have quite tolerant skin, and have just gone for it. From day 1. And no reactions at all. It’s possible that it’s such a low concentration that you usually don’t react to it? But results then? Yes, I think I might see a little result when it comes to the effect of retinol. A little tighter in the skin. However, it might be a bit short time to see a lot of results? I will continue with this until it runs out. And possibly it will be a purchase of this in the future. Anyway, I think it’s a really nice and affordable eye cream/serum that I can warmly recommend. I use sunscreen year-round every day. But I hate the feeling of regular sunscreen on my face. Before this, I used Heliocare, which is a favorite. But this one from Beauty Of Joseon is incredibly good! It really feels like a day cream. Not sticky or thick in consistency at all. It also melts into the skin quickly. Many day creams with SPF 50 are quite sticky or make it hard to apply makeup afterward. But not this one. It's perfect to use and then do makeup almost right away. It smells almost like nothing. This eye serum is incredibly pleasant on the skin. It is soft in consistency and has a very, very mild scent. It almost smells like nothing, but the little you can sense is a fresh tone. It’s almost a bit like gel in consistency. It melts quickly into the skin. The skin around the eyes feels very moisturized and soft. I find that the makeup sits nicer around the eyes when I use this.
