Iâm not actually overreacting when I say itâs the best Iâve ever tried. At first, I used it in the summer because of the high SPF, but now I use it every day, even on days without sun. I just feel so much better with it. The consistency is light and absorbs quickly without feeling sticky or heavy, and it feels more like skincare than sunscreen on the face. On a completely normal weekday, I like to work from a cafĂ© if I donât have lessons to lead. Today Iâm going to the gym afterward and the glam factor is low but the comfort is high đ I curled my hair yesterday so today it was a bit unruly. Continuation of "rolling" makeup combo
Regarding the problematic combination that caused the makeup to roll up, I have read the ingredients in these products, and they are all three water-based, so they shouldn't separate. It's common for water-based and silicone-based products to separate, but all have, as mentioned, water as the first ingredient (i.e., most content and likely base). But is there maybe something else to keep an eye on? I wrote with Margareta GrÀÀs, and she said that it's often one of the skincare products that reacts with the makeup and not two makeup products... that sounds reasonable because I tried Nivea's advanced serum last fall, and I really liked it, but in connection with that, the makeup started to "roll", even though I waited for the skincare to sink in properly. Super sad. I considered using it in the evening but actually wanted it both morning and evening. Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream and Essence grip-primer are probably the ones that don't work together because I've been using the Dynasty Cream for a few weeks now without problems with other primers. The Essence primer is a different type than most others I use (like Nyx Glue and Budgie)... I just don't really know what kind of moisturizer to use that it likes. Anyone have any thoughts? Is there anyone else who hates when the base "rolls" and you get crumbs (like flakes) all over your face because the products clash with each other?
