Butter Me Up Lip Color: Latte delight 001 Sweet soft scent of vanilla This is a fantastic hybrid product that combines the intensely nourishing properties of a butter with the beautiful mirror shine of a classic lip gloss. It has an incredibly buttery and comfortable formula that melts while moisturizing, is non-sticky, and has a sweet vanilla scent in all its products in this series. It has a unique applicator shape for the best application. 5% Squalane and peptides Squalane is a light, moisturizing lipid (fat) that mimics the skin’s natural sebum and suits all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin. The substance is mostly derived from plants like olives or sugarcane. Peptides are building blocks, short chains of amino acids that act as the body’s own messengers. They are smaller versions of proteins (like collagen and elastin). They strengthen the skin barrier, increase elasticity, provide moisture, and can reduce fine lines. My opinion: Received it on 15/10 and use it daily because it’s so damn good and makes the lips extra juicy. Both in moisture and appearance. I prefer Rimmel over my other lip products that I have had for a very long time and have been my prioritized favorites. In everyday life, I don’t often wear makeup, and if I do, it’s very little since I work in industry. You are very active, and then it’s most comfortable to be without. But thanks to it not being so pigmented and moisturizing, I find it very pleasant to wear. I don’t have to reapply lip products often, and therefore it gets 10/10 from me. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive is a face cream that is moisturizing and soothing for normal/combination sensitive skin. The cream is non-comedogenic, meaning it does not clog pores. Many products in this series contain the brand's thermal spring water, neurosensine, and ceramides that reduce stinging, burning, or tight sensations. The spring water relieves the feeling of tightness that hypersensitive skin often experiences. For normal/combination and sensitive skin. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+ is a highly appreciated cream that many consider perfect for dry, sensitive, and irritated skin. It is often used as a night cream and to soothe and repair the skin, even with eczema and after shaving or peeling. The cream gives soft, hydrated, and protected skin with a nice glow, although it can feel somewhat greasy and take time to absorb. Many like that it works well for the whole family and various skin issues like dry patches, redness, and sun damage. Some do experience that it can clog the skin or cause small rashes, but overall it is praised as a savior for the skin, especially during dry and cold periods. It should not be used daily as it clogs pores but 1-2 times a week as a face mask at night. It works very well for children who have some dry patches on their skin. For example, I have used this on my children when the weather changes from autumn to winter. My opinion: La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Should this be repurchased? No, not right now, not because it is bad or doesn't suit my skin but because I am looking for something in a cheaper price range and like to explore Korean skincare, so this will be on pause on the shopping list. My opinion: La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+ Should this be repurchased? Yes, absolutely, I have already bought one! I always want to have this in my bathroom cabinet as it is a bit of an all-rounder. I use it on dry areas, hands, elbows, knees, feet. Sometimes the kids need extra barrier strengthening as they can easily get dry eczema in autumn and winter.2 products in post

The formula consists of 73% skincare and transforms upon application into a moisturizing essence that melts into the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin calm, hydrated, and naturally dewy – without feeling sticky, greasy, or heavy. ✔️ Broad-spectrum SPF 50 (UVA + UVB) ✔️ Light, invisible finish ✔️ Non-comedogenic – does not clog pores ✔️ Suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin My opinion: It feels very nice on the skin, a bit like a face cream that lets the skin breathe. Protects well and does not turn white or leave any feeling of a film like many sunscreens do on me. Works well under makeup. It has even been approved by my husband. He used this as regularly as I did last summer because he felt it was like a face cream. SOL DE JANEIRO (Body wash) Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 48 smells tropical, fruity, and juicy with scent notes of guava nectar, coconut water, sunny orchid, pink musk, and vanilla. Scent notes Top notes: Guava nectar and coconut water. Heart notes: Sunny orchid, lemon twist, and wild iris. Base notes: Pink musk and a cloud of vanilla. The scent is inspired by the year 1948 when the bikini appeared on the beaches of Brazil and is described as a bright, summery, and playful gourmand scent. My opinion: This smells like summer, sweet, and all the things I think you should smell like when wearing swimwear on a warm summer day. Using this and then the mist and lotion makes the scent last much longer. So if you’re tempted to try this, I recommend buying the small kit with soap, mist, and lotion. When you have all 3, you only need a little of each to smell good, and the products last longer than just having one product used often. Sometimes it’s nice to treat yourself and shower with something that smells good instead of the boring old Family Fresh I usually use. CAIA (Eye patches) Luxurious eye patches made of hydrogel and packed with ingredients that soothe, reduce dark circles, and decrease puffiness. Bye Bye Sleepy eye patches contain hyaluronic acid that softens, niacinamide that brightens, and aloe vera that soothes the thin skin around the eyes. ✔️ Luxurious feel ✔️ Soothes ✔️ Softens ✔️ Reduces dark circles ✔️ Decreases puffiness ✔️ Brightens ✔️ Contains antioxidants ✔️ Vegan My opinion: These feel nice to wear, stay in place, and are not as big as some can be. I wore these until they dried out, which could take up to 30 minutes. Which is very good for a pair of eye patches. My jars are always stored in the fridge when open because I think the cooling effect helps with puffiness and the serum doesn’t dry out as fast as when I stored them in the bathroom cabinet. BEAUTY OF JOSEON (Cleansing balm) Is a balm-to-oil cleanser that effectively melts away makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum without drying out the skin. The formula contains a nourishing combination of rice bran oil and rice bran water, enhanced with extracts from rice, mung beans, and oats. My opinion: This balm completely changed my skincare routine when it comes to cleansing. Starting to use balm has made my pores smaller and less dark. All oil cleansing helps remove waterproof makeup and oils that clog pores. Thanks to starting with oil cleansing, I don’t need to use multiple products to get the job done. For example, I always use waterproof mascara and used to get pimples from sunscreen, but thanks to hearing something said. Quote: "Oil removes oil." But let’s dive into yes, no, and why😊 Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Mini series Madagascar Centella Ampoule Foam (Cleansing) This is a mild, pH-balanced cleansing foam (pH 5) that cleanses the face from dirt, excess oil, and makeup residue. It contains hyaluronic acid that binds moisture and citric acid (AHA) that provides a very mild micro-peeling for a smoother skin surface. My opinion: It is very good at removing dirt, oil, and other things the face is exposed to daily. It is number 2 in my cleansing routine on evenings when I have worn makeup or worked with various sticky liquids I’m exposed to at work. It gives me the feeling of clean skin that I seek, and I no longer need to use micellar water after cleansing to feel clean. The most important thing is that the skin does not feel tight from the cleansing, as many others do. Madagascar Centella Toning Toner (Facial toner) A lightweight toner that restores the skin’s moisture balance after cleansing while providing a gentle chemical peel. It contains PHA acid (Gluconolactone), which is the absolute gentlest acid for the skin. It gently removes dead skin cells and counteracts dullness without irritation, giving a smoother skin texture and nice glow. It also contains niacinamide, which evens out skin tone. My opinion: It helped me counteract redness and felt like it kept the skin in check on days it was irritated and evened out the skin tone after long days at the pool and beach this summer. But I needed to apply it in several layers as my skin said slurp and it was already absorbed. Madagascar Centella Cream (Facial cream) A softening facial cream that locks in moisture, provides nourishment, and creates a protective layer on the skin. It is enriched with TECA (the active substances from Centella Asiatica) and panthenol, which deeply repair and soothe damaged or stressed skin. My opinion: It’s okay, it’s gentle, pleasant in texture. It melts into the skin quite quickly, so it leaves no residue, which is priority one for me. It has a scent that makes me think of mint but does not have it in its ingredient list. So I investigated further and found this: The cream contains an ingredient called Lavandula Angustifolia Oil or Lavandula Spica Oil (lavender oil) When the strong, fresh plant scent from spike lavender mixes with the naturally “green” raw scent from the high content of Centella Asiatica, our noses perceive it almost exactly like mint. It’s completely natural and exactly how the manufacturer formulated the product to give it its signature scent. This skincare series is one I’ve wanted to try for a long time but was unsure about, so I chose to buy minisize this time instead of large + was going to travel. I want to try products for at least 3-4 months to be able to give a fair review of the products. But this time I’m satisfied with my 2 months, though not daily as my skin needed other products to fill in where these couldn’t provide for my skin. The cleanser gets 10/10 because I’ve tried it for almost 1 year and will always have it at home as number 1 in my skincare routine. The toner gets 6/10 as it helped me with redness and kept the skin in check during vacation but didn’t give the moisture I needed, so I also needed an Essence to give what my skin needed during summer. A slightly thicker consistency so I don’t have to pat it in 3-4 times and it would have gotten 10/10. It went much faster as I needed more product. The cream gets 4/10 as it smells like mint, which made me worried that there were synthetic perfumes in it, and when I read, they can irritate the skin, especially in places where eczema occurs. Which I felt gave a burning sensation when using it when I got sun eczema during vacation. On the face, in the armpit, after shaving, filled mini spray bottles and taken as hand sanitizer when I’m out with the kids. Used it to wipe the window on the plane. Wiped tables at the restaurant etc. This has been a game changer for me, such a versatile product makes me so happy because then I don’t have to have several things for different parts/purposes. PYUNKANG YUL = yes and no It has been wonderful and is as creamy as I like. In spring it was perfect, not thick enough to use in winter. It has been nice and just as moisturizing as I want in summer and wonderful to put in the fridge for the days I want extra coolness. Spring= yes Summer= yes Autumn= no Winter= no ORDINARY (Mandelic acid 10% + HA) = Yes It has been wonderful and really helped me reduce and get rid of my pores and impurities. My skin is very sensitive and I had to start by only applying it to certain areas on the face. Like the nose, chin and some parts of the cheeks. The night after I used a barrier strengthening cream and gradually increased the areas on the face. This is supposed to be very gentle and one of the milder ones. The first time it caused irritation because I smeared it all over my face, not so smart of me.. But today (autumn) I use it once a week on the whole face and once only on the nose and the part I want to help/improve. PURITO = maybe or no It’s nice and it feels like it has done something but I don’t know what. I prefer to use toner/essence rather than serum. It works well and doesn’t irritate my skin, but I will keep looking and hopefully find one that I feel more confident helps my skin than this one. SOL DE JANEIRO ROSA (48) = yes, love the scent and that it’s so rich and creamy. It smells sweet and summery. Coconut with vanilla and hints of flowers. I think the scent lasts longer on clothes and skin than regular lotion. It’s too rich for my skin in summer but perfect the rest of the year. Tip: Use a little of this and then the mist, so the scent lasts all day without problems in summer. Scent notes: Top notes: Guava nectar and coconut water (gives the fruity and fresh start). Heart notes: Sunny orchid, lemon twist and wild iris. Base notes: Pink musk and a soft cloud of vanilla (gives a sweet and warm finish). YELLOW (62) = no, don’t like the scent. I don’t think it smells good either in the jar or on my skin. Have used it up hoping to change my mind but my nose just says yuck. Sad when I know many like it. Scent notes: Top notes: Pistachio and almond. Heart notes: Heliotrope and jasmine leaves. Base notes: Vanilla, salted caramel and sandalwood THE BODY SHOP = no It removes makeup and impurities but I have found a new and much better one. The packaging is very annoying and sometimes I couldn’t open it at all. It has to be applied on a wet pad to not irritate my eyelids. I have to rub more than needed with a more oily product. This toner helps exfoliate dead skin cells without irritating the skin. + it absorbs into the skin super fast - the skin absorbs the product so quickly that I need several layers to feel satisfied. - I didn’t see any changes while using the product. Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner is a soothing, moisturizing, and caring toner that contains up to 93% Astragalus root extract instead of water. The Astragalus extract promotes skin elasticity, collagen production, and its ability to protect against external stressors or skin inflammations. Betaine and minerals in the extract effectively hydrate the skin. The toner has a slightly thicker consistency and is excellent for both dry and surface-dry skin, as it fills the skin with water-based moisture and helps retain hydration longer. + my skin felt hydrated + one layer is enough + on warm days, one layer of essence and one layer of sunscreen was enough, and my skin felt good. - that the bottle ran out… The winner of these two is Pyunkang Yul, It continues in my search for the best toner/essence for my sensitive 32-year-old skin. My face was red and swollen, and I put all the products in the fridge to give a cooling sensation. I tried switching products because some didn’t work for me. I’m unsure why this happened since all have a good ingredient list and worked well at home in Sweden during the warm days of the vacation. I used eye patches for a few days and wonder if they could have been the culprit since they contain a bit of retinol. But as mentioned, they worked well at home, so I don’t want to comment on different products when I don’t know why or exactly which one was the culprit. But luckily I had the night cream from Purito with me, which helps rebuild the skin barrier in a small travel size. After a few days with it on and only a little face cream from Purito under the sunscreen, my face returned to normal. I will never live without this thanks to it saving me. If you haven’t tried it, I think you should!! These products have been evaluated and are NOT the cause of the allergic reaction. So with my hand on my heart, I am so grateful to have found products that take care of my face. THANK YOU!!4 products in post143 views

- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 monthsOn vacation in Malaga. Testing K-Beauty hard. Skin1004 Pyunkang Yul Common Clougs Beuty of Joseon Purito Skin1004… AMPOULE FOAM is the best. The soap is wonderful and long-lasting. Will last over a month with several uses daily. Really cleans away all dirt. Toner is okay but I find it too watery for this climate, but it works if you are sensitive, though I prefer Pyunkang Yul blue Essence. CREAM The cream is good but I use it so little that I still can’t decide if this is better than Purito’s night cream. I have used that longer and prefer it. It helps the skin heal overnight even if it is greasy. Common Cloud Is wonderful. Doesn’t crumble and protects well. Sometimes put this on the kids and they like it more than kids sensitive for the face. Beuty of Joseon Protects very well but sometimes feels like it crumbles. But doesn’t hurt the eyes. Have Beuty of Joseon cleansing balm to remove makeup and it is wonderful.
