The world's best flat iron!
Okeeeej WOW!! I was really shocked when I tried the GHD Chronos!🤯 I have previously only used cheaper flat irons, including from Remington, which definitely worked, but the difference with this one was really bigger than I could have imagined… The first thing I noticed was how incredibly smoothly it glides through the hair. You hardly need to press at all, the flat iron just glides through the hair and the result is nice right away. With my previous flat irons, I often had to press hard and sometimes the hair got caught and almost stuck in the plates, but with this one everything feels so much softer and more flexible. It really feels so luxurious right from the first use. I've always had a bit of trouble curling my hair with a flat iron. It never really turned out the way I wanted and I had to struggle to get nice curls. But with this Chronos it almost felt like all those problems just disappeared! It became super easy to curl the hair and the curls were even and nice without me having to struggle. Crazy what a flat iron, with really good quality, can make a difference!!🤩 I got that feeling that the hair was done at a salon, which I never really achieved with my previous flat irons.🥹 I also like that it has a single heat setting at 185°C, which feels like a good balance between effective styling and not using unnecessarily high heat on the hair. It also heats up super fast, in about 15 seconds, so you don't have to stand and wait before you can start styling! Of course, I knew there could be a difference between a cheaper and a more expensive flat iron, but not that the difference would be THIS BIG. After trying the GHD Chronos, I really feel it's more worth investing in a good flat iron instead of buying cheaper ones over and over again. Nice SPF☺️
As a #testpilot for #faceformula, I got to try Nova Cream SPF 30, and it was fun to try yet another sunscreen from Face Formula! 💛 I would say this one was pretty okay for me. It has a creamy and pleasant feel on the skin and provides good sun protection without feeling too heavy. ☀️🧴 One thing I really noticed is the scent. It is quite clearly perfumed and has a fresh, somewhat classic sunscreen smell 🌸 Personally, I would have preferred it to be a bit milder, but the scent disappears after a while on the skin. Ingredient-wise, it contains hyaluronic acid, which helps to hydrate the skin, and vitamin E, which has antioxidant properties ✨ I therefore think it’s nice that it doesn’t just focus on SPF but also contains ingredients that care for the skin. As #testpilot for #faceformula, I got to try the 2 in 1 Refining Cleansing Milk, and it was really exciting to try a new facial cleanser from Face Formula! 🤍 What I liked the most is that it has two functions in one ✨ It works both as a face wash 🫧 that cleanses the skin and as a makeup remover 💄, which makes it very convenient when you want to remove both makeup and dirt without having to use several different products. I use it first to remove my makeup and then to thoroughly cleanse the skin from dirt and residue. I really like that you can get two steps done with the same product! 🥰 The texture is soft and creamy and feels very pleasant on the skin 🤍 It cleanses nicely without the skin feeling dry or tight afterwards, instead leaving it clean, soft, and fresh. I really like when a cleanser feels effective but at the same time gentle. Lovely serum!
As a #testpilot for #faceformula, I got to try Blue Serum, and it was really exciting to try a serum I've heard so many good things about! 💙 And oh, that blue color 😍 How lovely is it?! I really think it makes the serum feel extra luxurious in the skincare routine. I've also heard great things about copper peptides in skincare, so it was extra fun to try a serum that contains exactly copper peptides. The serum has a light and pleasant texture that feels comfortable on the skin and absorbs nicely without leaving a heavy or sticky feeling. I feel my skin is soft, hydrated, and a bit more plumped after use, which I really appreciate! I have quite oily skin, so I usually tend to be a bit careful with cream blush, but this one has actually worked really well for me! Berry Kiss is a very nice color that gives a slightly sun-kissed and fresh look without being too much. 🥰 The pigmentation is quite light, which I actually like because it’s so easy to build up the color until you get exactly the result you want. But sometimes I want something that feels fresher and lighter, and then I really think this one fits perfectly! 💕 GIA has top notes of mandarin and lemon, a floral heart with neroli, jasmine, and orange blossom, and a base of white musk. 🍊🌸 To me, it smells mainly like creamy orange together with fresh bird cherry blossoms. It’s citrus-fresh and floral, but at the same time soft and a bit creamy, which makes it not feel too sour or sharp. What I really like is that it’s floral without feeling "old-fashioned" at all. Instead, it feels very feminine, fresh, and youthful. I think some floral perfumes can easily become a bit too heavy or old-fashioned, but I really don’t think this one does. 🌷 It’s also fresh without being a strong or annoying scent. You can clearly smell it, but it doesn’t take over and never feels too much. That’s why I think it fits very well for everyday use, especially when you want to feel fresh and newly groomed without wearing a heavy perfume. I was also positively surprised by how long the scent lasts on me. It stays for a long time and becomes a bit softer the longer you wear it, but I can still smell it several hours later. ✨ Even though I will still be drawn to my vanilla and caramel perfumes, I really think GIA is a great alternative when I want something lighter, fresher, and more floral. 🍊🌸 A really nice scent to have when you want to vary from your warm and sweet perfumes!
