Something you might not think about is that sometimes you need to go in and exfoliate the skin to remove dirt and other impurities more deeply. Your regular cleansing isnât always enough, and Iâve noticed that the foundation from Lumene hasnât applied very well, so maybe the problem is that I havenât cleaned properly. Makeup can sit badly on skin thatâs dirty no matter how good the product is. This one is from #nivea which Iâve been using for quite a while now and I think itâs okay, of course there are better ones on the market. There are better brow products
I really like Milk Makeup Kush Brow Gel (my current favorite), so I wanted to try this one right away too, especially since I already knew the shade that suits me. However, this didnât apply as nicely as the previous product, it even felt almost like paint that I tried to smear on my brows. Maybe this suits someone with thick natural brows, but I have thin and unevenly growing brow hairs, and microblading underneath, and this only produced a messy result. I was skeptical when I saw that this is a stick concealer, usually they spread worse and tend to clump more than liquid products. However, this warmed up quickly, and applying it with a concealer brush was effortless! Also worked without a color corrector to cover dark under-eye circles. I still give it 4/5 stars, as I somehow would prefer a liquid version, maybe the coverage and workability could be even better. On the other hand, if this were a bit cheaper, it could definitely earn 5/5 as it is. Good cleansing without drying out
I had the honor of receiving the #dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel along with some of their other products and have tested them together. This gel has a very subtle and fresh scent and comes in a large package that is easy to use. The cleanser has a gel consistency that foams lightly when mixed with water. It feels fresh on the skin and cleans effectively without being too harsh. Afterwards, the skin feels clean and soft, not tight. The fact that the skin does not feel tight and dry is a big advantage for me as I have dry skin. Therefore, I can feel clean without any discomfort. After using the cleanser for a while, I am satisfied with this product and think it works well as a cleanser without drying out the skin. I had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Dermalogica Biolumin-C Serum along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was in great need of a serum and was therefore so happy to receive this product. My first impression was how luxurious the packaging was. The serum comes in a glass bottle which is well protected inside a nicely designed box. The serum has a light texture that quickly absorbs into the skin and feels smooth to apply. One dropper is enough for the entire face and neck. The skin feels moisturized and gets a lot of glow immediately after application. However, the scent was a big downside for me. The scent is not too strong but doesnât smell particularly fresh in my opinion and affects the experience for me. Thanks to the strong absorption into the skin, the scent disappears quickly. A serum requires more time to see results but the radiance and glow I have gotten have been perfect for me and I look forward to continuing to use this product. I have had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Daily Microfoliant along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was very curious to try this product. What immediately caught my interest was that it is an exfoliant in powder form, which feels a bit different compared to regular scrubs. The first impression was that it felt gentle and easy to use. The product feels very mild on the skin but still effective. You activate it by rubbing the powder in your own wet hands. Then the powder foams up but still retains some grains that help exfoliate. After the first use, the skin already felt more radiant. I have dry skin type and therefore prefer exfoliating products that you wash off and do not stay on the skin. Therefore, this type of mild exfoliation suited me very well. After these weeks of use, my skin has neither become irritated nor dried out, which makes this product perfect for daily use. I love the glow I get from this and look forward to seeing what other benefits this product can provide. I prefer products that are not too strong or drying. Superserum
This is a fantastic oil-based serum that, despite being oil-based, is not thick and doesnât ball up on the skin. I have dry, mature, and sensitive skin and usually need to use quite a bit of product to feel satisfied â this serum is no exception, but that entirely depends on my skin type. I really like the texture, even though I usually avoid other oil-based serums because of that. They often feel so âdry and cloggingâ when spread out, but this serum might be the exception that proves the rule? I think my skin feels more elastic now after using this serum for a good while. Got this cream in a Lyko Lovables box, something I really find fun since I love trying out new creams! I am 45 years old with basically dry skin that I maintain with good skincare. It is also sensitive. The cream really stands out in one way, and that is that it is terribly slippery! Like melted butter in a frying pan... I, who donât use the included spatula but use my fingers to fish cream out of the jar, quickly realized this when I dropped some cream not just once but several times! Oops. But it is also this that gives you an incredible glow and what is called "glass skin." It is a very rich and moisturizing cream in that way.
